upon rewatching last night's episode, i realized that jake was telling vince to get bode before the car fell and when vince handed sam to him. now... that is a human life but it is one of the very few moments he was openly concerned about him after finding out about sharon (but to be fair, we haven't gotten much of them after that). still, that makes me happy
