Fiona Rae

 Fiona Rae is a British artist who is known for having a portfolio filled with energy and complexity. Her work mainly focusing on expanding on modern painting.The paintings feature mostly brush strokes and a wide range of medias such as oil paints, waxes and vanishes. On the TATE website one of her paintings (Night Vison 1998) is described as ‘A push abstraction in the edge of figuratation’. I really enjoyed browsing her portfolio as it shows how the meaning is undermined by materiality of the painting. Her work is mainly made up from geometric shapes and dribbles. This is something I hope to include in my work as i progress on.

New inquisitor time (ﾉ◕ヮ◕)ﾉ*:・ﾟ✧

Meet Fionara, a city elf formerly from Kirkwall.

During the events of DA2, she was working in a noble home in Hightown, trapped in a situation where she was technically free to leave at any time but they never paid her enough to actually leave. Anders, Fenris and Isabela worked together to help get her out (Hawke was our of town) and she moved to Ferelden to stay with family there.

She’s working on a kitchen in Haven during the conclave and ultimately becomes the inquisitor. She hates it - she’s very timid and hates doing anything that makes somebody mad at her, but she becomes much more self assured and assertive during the course of the inquisition 💚

I love star prints, because they inspire me to dream big ✨I often wonder why we are drawn to star prints? I think it's because star dust is in our DNA. And let's face it, we all need a regular sprinkling of star ⭐️ dust to keep us sane and inspired! Our signature Rae Of Light star print evolves into new colours and adapts, because we think, why reinvent the wheel. ✨ We digitally print because it's kinder on the environment, using limited water and chemicals that are less toxic. We named it after Rey in Star Wars @starwars loving the strong female lead, and @madonna song Ray of Light, both of which inspire us to keep on keeping on. That's what a star print does, it gives me hope and inspires me to keep dreaming. The print itself is inspired by the amazing artist Fiona Rae's Hong Kong Garden series. Hence the use of the spelling Rae. Made fairly in India paying fair wages, using recycled ♻️fabric made from plastic bottles. I would love to know why you insta folk love a star print? First time seeing Fionarae and Destiny after serving for a few years.

Takeaway: I felt recharged.

Have been stressed about the Elead sales. Why I can’t get people to do the business, a little depressed.
