This is a baby gift for a friend. I can't wait to send it off.

Pattern by Stitchrovia on etsy. 14count aida that I got off amazon. I replaced the charted blues with DMC 704 and 445 for the gender neutrals preferred by the mommy to be.

Only complaint I had was that everything went one stitch past the G on the right but everything lined up on the left. So I adjusted by a stitch here or there to fix it.

A write up of my journey through spinning thus far is up on the blog today, including the creation of the hat in the second picture. These yarns were made with a combination of the fiber that came with @thecraftersbox drop spindle kit (the white) and some merino roving I bought from @ganxxet (the blue and gray). The big skein is a regular 2-ply and the two smaller skeins are chain plyed. Image description: Slide 1- Three skeins of handspun yarn are on a dark wooden table. There is a large loose skein at the bottom and two smaller, twisted skeins at the top. All yarn is a combination of teal, lavender gray, and white.
