My husband and I took a staycation this week 🥰 Usually our getaways are in Juicy Lucy, our 1958 Volkswagen, but this time she chauffeured us around our hometown and we stayed at our neighbor’s and our best friend’s brand spanking new airBnB! @jennie_scarbrough and @scarbrough.jason built a garage apartment designed by @barn_livin to add to their beautiful Finger Lakes vacation rentals, Hector Lookout Loft 😍 (See all their properties at fingerlakeshomerentals.com!) We went to @stonecat_cafe, our favorite Hector restaurant on a dinner date after sipping wine at @rastaranchvineyards with my mother. Our night stay at Hector Lookout Loft was INCREDIBLE! The apartment is perfect and simply GORGEOUS! We couldn’t have hoped for a better getaway! I got to test out my pre packed overnight bag which turned out to have every single thing I needed! Not that it would have been hard to sneak home and grab chapstick or sunscreen but still! We made breakfast at the rental the next morning and enjoyed a slow pace admiring the Lookout’s treetops views. We eased into our day with drinks at @solerataphouse and lunch at @theelfintheoak. Whether you live here in the Finger Lakes or want to visit this summer I would recommend exactly what we just did!!!
