Writing personal notes to introduce FINDING FELICITY to local high school librarians...and my handwriting is still terrible. Even when I'm really trying! Sigh. I actually had a college professor call me by the wrong last name for semester because he thought my "r" was an "i." (Baines instead of Barnes.) Too much? Background too dark? I like this quote, though, as one of the harder lessons of adult life that I learned and managed to sneak into this book. 😊 Caroline’s mother is saying this to her toward the end. Basically, you can’t always know if you’re going to regret something ahead of time. If you haven’t listened to the audio book, check to see if your library owns or can borrow it for you! Lauren Ezzo, the narrator, does such an AMAZING job. Normally I feel a little self-conscious hearing someone read one of my books—like, oh, Stacey, you used that same word two paragraphs in a row!—but I completely lost myself in Lauren’s performance. #yalit #audiobook #findingfelicity
