Besides Hange's fighting skills, their brains still have so much to offer to Humanity after war, in terms of progress, knowledge, improvement, technology, based on their scientific experimentation & enthusiastic curiosity. Their kindness & heartwarming sunshine personality would spread positivity & comfort around them as well, helping those close to them cope with their griefs & heal their emotional wounds. [But this would be so cruel, as I imagine they would mourn Levi for years & -secretly- hate me so much for choosing them over him 😭😭😭]

3/ Oh my, this one pierces right through my kokoro 💔 I DON'T handle their fate AT ALL, I can't ! The more we get close to March 3rd, the more I get depressed. After reading chapter 132, I cried for 2 full hours at least, I couldn't stop, even after re-realizing they were a fictional character. So when I'll watch the animated scene...

I'd say I'm somewhere in between. The way Hange sacrifices themself of their own free will to save their comrades - & thus humanity- totally fits the character imo. It's no surprise they follow their convictions & beliefs until the very end. Once again, I'll say they are the real hero of the story as they SAVE EVERYBODY ELSE'S ASS for f*ck's sake !!!

On the other hand, I wish they could survive the Rumbling & live a peaceful life with Levi 💚💜😢 So I'm more than often Team Denial & read so so much fics where they're both alive & happy together, I also focus on what happened during the 4 years time lapse in the story [mainly Levihan working together, lovingly taking care of their growing brats together, increasing their bond/love just being together all the time & so on & so forth, Levihan living rent free in my mind 24/7 tbh] Also : Hange is the most underrated character in snk, even more than Levi, & we need a f*cking back story for them please I'm on my knees begging you Isayama 🛐

I can’t get the dream out of my head. Well, maybe if I write it down exactly as I remember it, including what I was feeling and thinking at the time, I’ll be able to make some sense of it--and get back to much needed sleep. 😴

Okay...so I was wandering, wandering... Walking into halls and public spaces in a hotel filled with strangers and handlers talking to me in Italian...

But I didn’t know any Italian, 😬 so I just kept smiling and walking...

Despite the smile I was lost and self-conscious. I was supposed to know where I was going but I didn’t have a clue. 

I also didn’t know what to do with my hands. I never know what to do with my hands. 🖐 😖 🖐

I tried folding my arms across my chest but maybe that wasn’t the right thing to do because the handler started talking excitedly to me in Italian.

BUT I DIDN’T KNOW ANY ITALIAN! 😬

I couldn’t say much more than “Ciao bella!” and that will only get you so far.

I barely learned passable French for season 2! And even so Weber cracked up every time I said a line in French.

You try speaking French with an 18th century Scottish accent Mr. I Speak English beautifully with my fancy French accent...Pfft! 😈

But I digress. Back to the dream...

So I was still wandering, not knowing what I was supposed to do.

I tried waving. 👋  Waving worked...

But WHO was I waving at?

I didn’t know!

NO ONE KNEW! 😱

So I finally decided to put my hands in my pockets. 

That worked.

I was getting the hang of all this wandering when...

OMG I WAS ON STAGE IN A BATHROBE AND A SHOWER CAP! 😳

At least I wasn’t on stage 🎭 naked 😳 and unable to remember my lines. 

I hate that nightmare. 😖

But this scenario was still pretty ridiculous! On the whole, I’d rather have been wandering...

But how was I supposed to get off the stage?

OMG Mum suddenly appeared! What was she doing here?! 😱

Oh no! She looked annoyed at me! Did she see me in the shower cap?! 😳

Oh wait. No. She was annoyed because I stopped to talk to someone and was holding her up.

But that’s from when we went to the EIFF. What was I doing there with Mum in THIS dream?! 

I was in Rome not Edinburgh! 

I was so confused! 😵

Then suddenly I was BACK to wandering around the hotel in Rome.

I had no idea who these people were but they all wanted to take photos of me.

OMG did they see me scratch my ass!

WAS THAT ON VIDEO?!!! 😳

And the handler was talking excitedly to me in Italian again!

“Stupido!” 🤦 Yes, I understood that one bit of Italian!

And the next moment I was BACK on stage in a bathrobe. At least the shower cap was gone! 

BUT WHAT WERE THOSE SHINY GOLD THINGS ON MY WRIST AND MY FINGERS?!!!

WAS I WEARING A WOMAN’S CHARM BRACELET AND TWO GOLD RINGS?!!

OH NOOOO!  MY HANDS WERE MORPHING INTO CAIT’S! 😱

I had to get AWAY! Away from the shower cap and the bathrobe and the gold rings and the charm bracelet!!

So I was RELIEVED to find myself wandering around again!

But then I went through a door and...

CAME FACE TO FACE WITH MYSELF--BUT I’D MORPHED INTO CAIT AS CLAIRE!!! 😱😱😱

And that’s when I SCREAMED 😱 and woke up completely disoriented! 😵

Excuse me as I hyperventilate for a few minutes at the memory of all of this...

Okay. So now that I have written it all down what does it mean❓❓❓

Does it mean I feel lost and exposed and my identity is merging with Cait’s and I have mom issues?  [Note to self: Why do writers always throw in the mommy issue cliche in dreams--even wacko parody writers like that CO? 🤔]

Nawww! It doesn’t mean any of those things. 😜 It was just the indigestion 🤢 from eating too much gnocchi late at night that warped my dreams while I slept. 

Next time, I’m definitely going to skip the late night gnocchi!

But it was sooooo gooood! 😉

my chiropractor says everyone leaves his office either table face from lying down. my mind went to strange places when he said that.

I typically type these updates but I’m supposed to be sleeping and I shut my laptop down.

So here I am on my phone trying to wind down.

It felt good to update something. And 1,600 words is a decent update. Yay.

I went to the dentist today and I have healthy teeth and gums. This is super a big deal bc I have Sjogrens and I’m at risk for cavities and other not fun dental stuff.

So at least one part of me is healthy???

Then I went to the chiro. That helped.

I went to Target after to get groceries. The Halloween aisles. Omg. I had to resist.

So I was pretty productive before work. And Work went by fast today yet again. Hooray! I also got a 100% on an evaluation.

So even though physically I’m falling apart, at least I’m doing well at work.

That reminds me of a quote from the devil wears Prada.

I’m almost done reading submissions. This batch is a lot less painful than the last two. There are so many submissions in this one where I’m like omg you’re amazing and I just want to pick your brain pls.

Speaking of picking brains. I have an appointment with a social worker who works at one of the local libraries.

I’m excited.

I’ve been so tired and in pain that I haven’t worked on grad school stuff. Bah.

Today was so. long. 😴😴 I don't think I even slept 4 full hours last night. I usually get like 7-8 so I was exhausted as soon as I woke up. Then add a lot of wine, socializing and the summer heat on top of that. Omg. Im finally home and I'm literally chugging water like there is no tomorrow. I'm going to catch up on MAFS and pass the hell out. I hope I can sleep in tomorrow because I can't feel like this for another day.
