I just wanna know how you think calling an entire race of people "babies" based on their skin color is helping the fight for equality at all. Your profile says "anti-racist", but you're really just using racism to try and fight racism, which is so very counter-productive. It seems so likely that I, a white person, would try to find flaws in your anti-white post. But I would write this to someone who was attacking black, asian, latin, etc. people too, it's just racism.

Y'know what? I owe you an apology. I'm sorry. I was overreacting with that post. While all white people benefit from white privilege, and while that benefit always comes at the sake of us people of color, I shouldn't point it out. Even though white people can't benefit from white privilege without oppressing PoC--whether you want to or not, whether you mean to or not--and even though white people will always benefit from it, it's mean of me to say. You're right. I'm being counter-productive. By pointing out that white people have an unwillingness to examine their oppressive white privilege, I am, in fact, oppressing white people. I shouldn't make such statements, even though every day, I see hundreds of white people refuse to acknowledge their privilege.Even though when a poc points out privilege, 9 times out of 10, the white person will straight up tell us that they don't care, that they enjoy the benefits too much to deconstruct the racism that's been ingrained in them, and even though this has happened thousands of times, I shouldn't say so. I know that you're a white guy. And as a white guy, you are, again, at the very top. You can't be oppressed on the basis of your race. But you see it so fitting to tell me, somebody who is, in the intsutionalized hierarchy, at the very bottom, how to deal with my oppression. Even though you've never had to deal with it and never will, you clearly know more than me on how to navigate it. So again, I say: you're right. I was so oppressive, pointing out people's unwillingness to examine the little ways in which they oppress me and my people. I thought I was slick, but you saw straight through me: I wasn't musing on why white people are so hell bent on oppressing us; I was clearly trying to oppress white people. You're clever for seeing that my post was actually an attack on white people everywhere.Say you forgive me, and you'll make me the happiest little brown skinned girl in the world. And I'll do everything in my power to show you, and make you happy, too! Rather than complaining about privileged people's unwillingness to stop oppressing me and my people, I will shut up and be silent.
