Nancy turned to her friend. “George, go to the kitchen and see if you can find something we can use to tie up Mr Taylor.” she instructed. “We may as well make ourselves comfortable while we wait - or in your case, Mr Taylor, uncomfortable!” Taylor looked at Nancy, eyes filed with resentment as George hurried past the two of them towards the kitchen.

For the most part, roisin keeps to herself. she has a few close friends that are not her siblings, but she tends to gravitate more towards people who are not good for her. despite her upbringing in a for the most part loveless household; she is incredibly loyal down to her bones and will quite literally give you the clothes off her back if you needed it. But like her father roisin’s temper knows no bounds. Out of the three walsh siblings, it’s Roisin’s anger and impulsive nature to watch out for, because once she gets an idea in her head she runs with it until something disastrous happens. It’s the part of herself that she’s most ashamed of, but her parents never taught her how to healthily express her emotions . but she’s trying .

The Walsh household was not made from love. It was carefully calculated by Diarmuid and Lillian’s parents     both coming from strong witch lines, their marriage was nothing but convenience for the Walsh and Desmond families. And from the moment Roisin was born, only a year after her older brother, her life had already been planned out. It soon became clear that if you were a Walsh, you had to actually be someone in life, rather than just living aimlessly. Her and her brother had often been pitted against each other competitively in almost everything and to some that would be exhausting, but for Roisin, it was fuel for her.

Her father was a strict Irish man with a wild temper and magic to match, who believed in the values of rules and lessons, while their mother projected an image of a perfectly all together family; hoping no one would see the tiny cracks starting to show. The Walsh’s could be nothing but exceptional, though Roisin’s temper often ruined that for her, causing her relationship with her parents to weaken even further. So they started paying more attention to her older brother and younger sister, because at least they could keep themselves in check.

As the years went on , Roisin knew she was different from her siblings, and that her temper was as wild as her father’s was , causing her and her siblings to often butt heads over the smallest things. Even still, the three were as loyal as can be to each other & still are to this day. But in her parents eyes, they knew Roisin would not amount to the expectations of the Walsh lineage. She was fifteen when they eventually agreed to send her to a private school until her magic gene kicked in, and to Roisin it was a blessing in disguise. At least she could pretend to be somebody else for a while, or at least that her life wasn’t as fucked up as it actually was.

while she was at this private school somewhere in england she fell into the ‘bad crowd’ at school which led her to stray even further from what her parents wanted her to be, however she did make some incredibly close friends that helped her

one reckless decision a couple weeks after her 17th birthday costed her the life of one of her best friend’s which she still doesn’t talk about to this day , namely because her parents forbid her of ever speaking of it. they paid someone off to make her name get cleared of everything however she did have to return home and now the debt of what her parents had done for her weighs heavily on her mind & they never let her forget it

they were not blipped, they only had a few loved ones in total and most of them were taken. she could have easily let her grief over run her in this moment but instead she decided to honor those who were lost and not letting herself into her worst parts.

they are living in a two bedroom (roommate call) but she’s not very friendly she spends most of time at shield or on missions so she’s typically a quick in and out.

why is your character affiliated with who they’re affiliated with?

nick fury is the one who saw to her joining the CIA when she was younger, and so she owes her career to him, and him giving her the safe space she felt like she could make a difference. shield only seemed like the best place for her to continue to help change the world, and honor her commitment to him.

BACKGROUND:  nancy is mainly based on the her interactive: nancy drew games with some life details filled in from the nancy drew files books! despite the fc, she is not show based, but i would be happy to poke at in show dynamics! the gist is that she’s a detective and started her career when she was about 15 or 16, since then she’s gone on to become internationally known for her sleuthing prowess. i follow everything pretty compliantly up until the latest game, midnight in salem! post that nancy was working on moving out of river heights into the city when she came onto the cambria instead.

HEADCANON(S):  as i add them i’ll put them onto a page here. for now, some silly little canon info (a.) nancy has actually been a licensed pilot since she was 16. as she got older she got licensed to fly private and commercial as those things became available, but she’s piloted a lot of planes. (b.) nancy’s mom was a spy working against a big organization named revenant before her death when nancy was ten. the organization kate drew worked for was named cathedral, and nancy didn’t find out she was a spy until she was about 21 and also had to go against revenant though she didn’t entirely shut it down. her dad is a lawyer that’s also pretty sought after nationally. (c.) back home nancy collected knick knacks from all her travels, which she misses. she also had journals upon journals filled with logs and notes and just general diary type writing. i feel she’s probably cataloguing her experience here with a similar intensity.

Who plays Lisbeth in Nancy Drew?

Lisbeth is a character in The CW's 2019 television series Nancy Drew. She is a driver for the Hudson family and does various odd jobs for them, and she develops a relationship with Bess. Lisbeth is portrayed by Katie Findlay.

This Nancy Drew game plays very well on Linux using Crossover. In fact, I like playing it on Linux better than on Windows for several reason that I will not go into now.

Installing the game is a little tricky because you will find that the regular installer quits prematurely resulting in a failed install. Here is how to install the game successfully.

First off, I am using Xubuntu 14.04, 64 bit, and Crossover 16.02, the latest build. Here we go.

1. Start Crossover, Click on Bottle in the top menu, Select New Bottle. Name the Bottle 'Nancy Drew', or whatever you like. Leave it the recommended Windows XP type. Click on Create and wait for the bottle to be created.

2. Put your Nancy Drew program disk into your disk drive, but do not do anything. If anything pops up for you to do, cancel it. Just put the disk in the drive.

3. In the left column of Crossover, highlight your new bottle, then in the the top menu, click on Bottle, then on 'Open C: Drive'. A file manager program will open showing the contents of the Bottle in the main window, and all your Linux drives in the left column. (At least that's how mine looks.)

4. Double click 'Program Files', then RIGHT click the open white space and create a new folder called 'Her Interactive'

5. In the left column you need to find your Nancy Drew disk. It may have a simple name like SPY, depending on what ND game you are installing. It may have a CD icon next to it. Anyway... RIGHT click on the CD and open it in a new tab or new window. That way, you will not have a hard time locating the folder you created in the previous step. It will still be visible in the first window.

6. Among other things, you should see a folder called 'files', open it. Now you should see a folder call 'game'. Highlight it, then RIGHT click and select COPY. Nothing will seem to happen

7. Now, open the previous window where you will see the folder that you created in step 4. 'Her Interactive' Highlight that folder, RIGHT click and select 'Paste into folder'. The game will be copied into that folder and it may take a long time. Just wait for it. You should see a progress bar. (TIP - If you lost the folder, go to your Crossover window, select Bottle and Open C: Drive, then proceed from there.)

8. Open the 'Her Interactive' folder and you should see the new folder called 'game', that you just pasted. RIGHT click on it and rename it to the actual name of the game. In this case, 'The Silent Spy'. This step is actually optional, BUT if you have other Nancy Drew games, you can install them all into the same bottle each time renaming the 'game' folder to the actual name of the game. Close everything out except for Crossover.

OK... now lets make an Icon for the game on the screen or in your Crossover menu.

1. In the Crossover program, highlight your ND bottle in the left column, then in the Right panel, double click 'Run a Command'. A Box will open

2. Click on Browse to see the contents of Drive C:. Click on 'Program files', then 'Her Interactive', then the name of the game (The Silent Spy). You should now see a list of folders and the .EXE file for the game. Highlight and open the .exe file. You will be returned to the original box but the path to the .exe file will now show in the slot. DO NOT RUN IT!!!

3. Click on 'Create Launcher', Select Start Menu, then click on 'Create'. This puts an icon for the game into your Crossover Bottle menu.

4. If you want an icon on your desktop, repeat step 3 and select desktop.

5. CANCEL out of the small box. Find the icon that you just made in the crossover program or on your desktop and double click it to start the game.
