When you think you've finally settled on the NPC you want to marry, but then you meet another interesting character and suddenly want to pursue them too. You’re curious about their story, but your heart won’t let you divorce your current spouse—so you start a new save file. Then another. Each one with a different farmer OC, each with their own love interest and story. Before you know it, you've built an entire farming game world where your OCs coexist. And now, every time you find another NPC attractive, you have to create yet another OC, complete with a backstory, personality, and design… until it becomes a full-blown creative headache. 😵

There's an upload of the game itself on Internet Archive.

It's not a perfect upload since it's missing some of the files for the manual, but the movelist is there. To patch it to 1.02, you just drop the files in the folder.

Flowers of Mythology - Gods

There have been many gods and goddesses associated with flowers in general as well as individual flowers, sometimes combined with other ideas, sometimes just as floral gods themselves. Following is a small sample of these gods.

Chloris is a nymph who became a goddess among the ancient Greeks. She was kidnapped by Zephyrus, the god of the west wind, who is responsible for her promotion to goddess through their marriage. She is said to have breathed out flowers and springtime.

Her myth is then taken up into the Roman Flora, who is also the goddess of flowers and spring. She was one of the twelve traditional deities in Roman religion with her own flamen, or priest, specifically a flamines minores, whose priests could be a common citizen rather than a patrician, who were called Floralis. She was a minor diety and also associated with fertility. Her festival, the Floralia, was celebrated between 28 April and 3 May beginning in 240 BCE and a temple 2 years later in 238 BCE.

Konohanasakuya-hime, or Sakuya-hime, is the goddess of Mount Fuji as well as all other volcanoes, but she is also the blossom-princess (her name means '[cherry] tree blossom blooming princess') and other delicate forms of life on earth. Her symbol is the sakura (cherry blossom). She was married to Ninigi-no-Mikoto, who is the grandson of the sun god and the great-grandfather of the first emperor. She bore three sons who were gods themselves as well.

Xōchiquetzal was an Aztec goddess of beauty, love, the lady of flowers, young women, and fertility. Her name means 'flower precious feather' or 'flower quetzal feather', the quetzal being a brightly colored bird found in Mesoamerica. She is depicted in ways that reflect human pleasures and desires and those to an excess. She was married to the rain god Tlaloc until she was kidnapped by Tezcatlipoca, the god of the night sky, obsidian, conflict, and hurricanes and forced to marry him. She's also married to Centeotl, the god of maize, and Xiuhtechtli, the god of fire, heat, and the day in various stories. She had a festival in conjunction with Tlaloc called Hueypachtli where offerings of flowers were given and there was drinking and fornication.

But the thing is that a 25 year old man was not born over 50 years ago lmao. Which would seem like common sense, but I guess not. Modern men are not the men that committed crimes against your great-great-grandmothers. Which also means modern women did not suffer under your great-great-great-grandfathers. You literally cannot weaponize the past if both you and the person you’re mad at DID NOT EXIST when it happened. Hate men if you want but you have a lot of other reasons to pick from than “men who are dead now were mean 1000 years ago 😔”

let’s put it in a way you’ll understand. my grandfather was one of seven, my grandmother one of nine (both irish). but they only had two children. why is that? because when women have the social and material power to not be pregnant back to back for a decade, they generally do, as pregnancy and childbirth are incredibly dangerous for women. my grandparents were only born due to the reproductive abuse - whether intentional or not - of their mothers; and by extension, i am only alive because of it. just because you and i personally may not suffer this kind of abuse doesn’t mean it does not shape us or our society. that is why we do not forget.

but also, by your own logic, nobody can ever be mad about things that happened in the past. the transatlantic slave trade, the holocaust, the genocide of indigenous americans; the people who committed these horrific crimes are dead, as are those who endured them, so we cannot continue to be angry about it? maybe you do think that, but i don’t. if you do, and youre simply a conservative coming finto my ask because you hate feminism and any semblance of a civil justice movement, then you’re likely a lost cause anyway. but if you consider yourself progressive, its likely you think the listed crimes are different and the anger at them is justified, but not for misogyny.

then i would ask you to tell me how many women, from the dawn of sexual oppression up until now, have died as a result of sexism. how many husbands unintentionally killed their wives through continuous pregnancy? how many went for the direct route of beating them to death? how many women have been raped in wars, or taken as slaves to be raped at their captor’s pleasure, how many died from backalley abortions, how many daughters left to die for not being sons, how many pushed into brothels and died from stis, or forced into the street when they were no longer attractive to johns, how many killed themselves out of despair for the abuse they had suffered, how many women lived lives drenched in trauma purely because they were born women? and then, if you could even find that number, because hundreds of scholars worldwide can’t, i would ask you whether that truly cannot be called an atrocity.

do you truly and honestly believe that 10,000 years of brutalisation, dehumanisation, and oppression can be fully undone in 50 years? the echoes of human atrocities like genocide and industrial slavery, as with millennia of sexual, domestic, and reproductive abuse of women, continue to shape our societies and feed into systemic discrimination, injustice, and oppression. the criminals are dead, but the crime lives on like nuclear half life, continuing to poison the descendants. that is why we are angry.

or how about we try it another way. sure, men alive today are not responsible for their grandfather’s actions, but what about their own? then what accounts for men like wayne couzens, a police officer who kidnapped, raped and murdered sarah everard; or elliot rodgers, who killed six people because he couldnt get laid, or marc lepine, who shot up a university and killed fourteen women. who are their female equivalents, mass murdering men for whatever reason? more crucially, how do we account for the men who did not commit these crimes, but tacitly endorsed the more subtle misogyny that led to them. couzens was nicknamed ‘the rapist’ by his police colleagues. several complaints were filed against hime by women prior to sarah’s death. none led to meaningful action. rodgers has become an idol for online incel communities who praise his actions as necessary to putting women ‘in their place’. incels and their online spaces are largely young men, who were not born 50 years ago and so are not responsible for their grandfathers actions. marc lepine entered a mechanical engineering class and told the male students to leave before he shot the women. why didn’t they try to stop him? how do we account for dominic pellicot, who arranged for over 50 men to rape his drugged wife over several years, and how do we account for the men who agreed, as well as those who declined but crucially, did not report it to the police?

all of these crimes occurred within the last 50 years, and all of them stem from the same foundational idea of misogyny; that women should be property of men to treat as they wish, and women who disobey must be punished. that is why we are angry. the idea never went away, and it wants to come back. we are angry because we know what the societal implementation of this ideology looks like - it looks like dead women.

When the tortoise-shell messenger cat you had affectionately dubbed Hime meowed at the cathedral door that morning, you were expecting the case files the chancellor had promised you. Instead, all that she carried in her mouth was a single note.

'Come to the garage.'

He didn't need to sign it for you to know who it was. Alan's bluntness was easy to identify, both in tone and in handwriting. Technically, it could be Leo or Sho, but they would just text you.

You were supposed to meet Kaito and Luca for breakfast, but it wasn't often that Alan asked for your help with something. You sent the boys a WickChat for a raincheck and got ready.

"... Are we going somewhere?" You look over to Alan in the driver's seat, who is scowling at the windshield.

"I needed to talk to you in private. Too easy to listen in anywhere else."

Right. The use of soundproofing anomalies was pretty nice. "What happened?" You ask, turning to face him. "Why do you need to talk to me in private? Was something wrong with the case report?"

Somehow, his expression hardened. "Something like that." He ran a hand over his face, letting out a sigh. "Bandana lied."

Your brow furrowed. "Sho? What did he lie about?"

"When he said your ability didn't work."

Your mind flashes back to Sho's hand in yours, attempting to use his stigma on Takeru's mangled apparition. You remember the warmth in your body, replacing with icy cold guilt when it didn't work, and the anomaly nearly taking you off the balcony. You shook your head in disbelief. "Why would he… did he tell you he lied about it?" If Sho really lied, that meant he put everyone's lives — your life in danger for… for what?

"He and Kurosagi were talking about it. Didn't know I was there." You only nodded, mind still reeling at the new information. "Just thought you should know. I'll take care of it."

"Don't." Your nails dug into your thigh as you shook your head again. "Thanks for telling me, but you don't need to do anything—"

"He's my problem—"

"I can handle it." Alan blinked as you cut him off. "Part of my job is to earn your guys' trust. If he really lied, that means… I failed. So it’s my problem. I'll take care of it." You offered him a reassuring smile. "Gotta wipe my own ass, right?"

Alan watched you for a moment, his eyes narrow as he searched your face before the crease in his brow softened and he nodded. "Let me know if he gives you any trouble."

You smiled, your shoulders dropping in relief. He actually trusted you. Maybe you weren't such a failure after all. "Thanks, Alan."

And when you get out of the car, a look of determination on your face that he hasn't seen before, something in Alan's chest tightens.

Nyla and Nia Schaffer: The Gyaru Twins Taking Fashion by Storm

Nyla and Nia Schaffer grew up in a household that defied conventional norms. The two were raised by two mothers, being a medium and a fortune teller. They were a very "out of the ordinary" and "paranormal" family. However, their unique family structure wasn't the only aspect that set them apart. Through their relatable comedy sketches, they were able to form a connection with a small but dedicated group of viewers who fell in love with their humor and authenticity.

As they continued to grow, the twins expanded their content to include their true passion: fashion. Their SimTube channel soon morphed into a platform where they celebrated their unique style, inspiring others to embrace their own unconventional passions.

With time, Nyla and Nia's authenticity and unapologetic self-expression caught the attention of like-minded souls. Their creative journey led them to a groundbreaking milestone as they launched San Myshuno's first-ever J-Fashion line/brand.
