Arc 9 Summaries

OH MY GOD FINALLY???? Its about damn time I got my act together and posted these. Anyway, here’s what I got in mind for our lovely little upcoming arc, the first one to feature AU chapters might I add, so that’s exciting! Anyway, here they are for your speculation pleasure: 

Chapter 81: Theory of Weirdness: When Pearl takes Steven, Connie, and Mabel on a special mission to the mountains, the three find they’re a bit more than weighed down by stress caused by recent events. Likewise, while he stays behind, Dipper struggles to cope with his lingering feelings of regret and anger toward Bill, the others, and himself. 

Chapter 82: Played in Reverse: The kids accidentally stumble into their first parallel dimension, where they find a strange world where their alternate selves are a far cry from themselves. With the help of some new friends, will they be able to stop what their powerful parallel selves are plotting to save this dimension and their own? 

Chapter 83: Greg the Babysitter: Greg regales the kids with a story of his very brief stint as the town’s up and coming babysitter... and how he got fired from the Mystery Shack years ago. 

Chapter 84: Opposites Attract: In another parallel dimension, the gang comes across versions of themselves that are practically the opposite of how they usually act. Even stranger? The Crystal Gems in this world are none other than Lapis, Peridot, and Jasper!

Chapter 85: Crack the Whip: Amethyst helps Steven, Dipper, and Connie unwind from their training for a bit, at least until their fun is interrupted by an unexpected appearance from Jasper. Meanwhile, Mabel and Ford team up with Lapis and Peridot to look for more dimensional portals. 

Chapter 86: A Rock and a Hard Place: A vignette chapter featuring three different tales: a fierce fight between Steven and Amethyst, Stan and Garnet bucking heads to teach Mabel boxing, and Dipper, Connie, and the teens stumbling across a classic haunted house. 

Chapter 87: Bismuth: Steven comes across the bubbled gem of one of the original Crystal Gems, much to the excitement and slight suspicion of the others. But even though most everyone hits it off with Bismuth, the kids soon discover the unsettling reason why she was hidden away for so long...

Chapter 88: It's All Relativity: With conflict still stirring between Stan and Ford and Ford and the Gems, the gang comes across a dimension where the older Pines twins and the Gems are all kids! But will seeing versions of themselves who are best friends finally be enough to convince the adults to finally get along? And will the older alternate versions of the kids start to stir up some doubts among their own friendships? 

Chapter 89: Double Date: Dipper starts to have doubts about whether her can protect Pacifica from harm, leading to worries about the future of their relationship. Meanwhile, Steven and Connie begin to realize their true feelings for each other through fusion. 

Chapter 90: Beta (part 1): The kids, Amethyst, and Peridot investigate the Kindergarten where Jasper emerged, only to run into the orange Gem herself there. Will Steven and Amethyst finally be enough to stop her this time? 

Chapter 90: Bubbled (Part 2): The Ruby Squad returns to earth, prompting a return trip to the Moon Base. However, the secrets uncovered there begin to stir doubts within Steven concerning his mother, and when him and Mabel are accidentally flung into the depths of space together, that’s not the only long-kept secret that’ll be revealed...
