Inspired by Chapters 3 & 4 of Odds and Ends: A Ficlet Anthology by @anthemxix . I’m obsessed with her work and haven’t been able to get these two chapters out of my head.

I loved the idea of the Fierce Deity mask leaving marks on the wearer but I put my own small twist on it.

Historically inspired Hero of Time! This started as Linked Universe fan art and still kind of is but has started to morph into a bit of it's own thing as I've started making my own little historically inspired redesigns of various Zelda characters! The armor was mostly based on late 15th century German "kastenbrust" style plate armor, with the cuirass as a blend more of greco-roman muscle cuirasses with the fierce deity's armor from Majora's Mask (got the idea from @nancyheart11 !) My background is more in technical drafting than it is in drawing organic things like people and clothing so my actual character design and proportion has a long way to go, but I'm getting there! I'll probably redo this eventually when I have more practice.

I'll work on his other outfits as well, especially the one I draw him in the most. Hero chart has also been updated!

I've had a few people mention FD having Time's braid and it was smth on my mind for a while as well, especially while working on Time's ref. So I decided to indulge on the idea! Also that his appearance differs depending on who uses the mask so I was gonna mess with it eventually anyways lol.

Me: "Were you talking to me or your doggo?"

Mother's Rage

This was a little gift for my friend @musical-chan. Glad you liked it!

Being the nerd that I am, I have come up with lore and backstory for things that won't really impact the plot. To condense it, the Fierce Deity mask can be worn by anyone, and while it keeps core elements like a cooler color scheme and armor, each form is unique in its own way.

Although you will not be left alive long enough to admire it.

He wasn't thinking too small, returning home was simply all that mattered to him. Anything else was irrelevant! Thor's ears perk high on his head with this new information being given to him. He has been reluctant since the start, pushing his way through and reassuring himself that he was still a good person despite the bad he did while under the koopa king but to know that there was an alternative to using a pipe the rodent was eager to learn more.

"Really?" Eventually comes his curious tone, as they come upon the city. He barely paid attention to their surroundings as they approached it. His attention was now solely on Bowser, eager for any information he could gleam. "So there's more than one? How many? Where can we find them?" There's an enthusiastic energy about him now that wasn't there before.

When Bowser stops at the border of the lands, Thor stands next to him on his hind feet, gazing at the palace ahead. The ear that was closest to the king swiveled fully in his direction while he slowly lowered himself onto all fours to get in position to run. "You'll regret it when I win," he murmurs before nodding that he was indeed ready to go. Thor would still stick to his initial goal of trying to stun and not harm, but now that he had a new end goal in sight there was no way he'd back down from this challenge.

"I'm ready when you are! Try not to choke when I leave you in the dust."

"You think too small."

Leave it to a minion to ask for rice in a gold mine. He led them onward - the ship carrying the army hung behind them. "Then you'll be happy to know the treasures here are what I intend to use to send you back - no pipe needed."

Water wanes, but the sand never fades. Devoid of the ocean breeze, their environment becomes dryer and heavier with each step. Despite the oppressive atmosphere, the sights offer a warm welcome. Beyond the endless dunes and wavy lines, a gallant palace decorated the desert. It is a proper city, booming and bustling. It is their oasis in a desert - making it another perfect spot to set up for an invasion.

Bowser stops at the border of the land: the starting line. The trick? No trick. The game is simply to see how much carnage this little rodent is capable of on his own. King Koopa folded his arms, cackling quietly.

"I feel bad for you, so I'll let you have a head start! I want this city as cleared out as the beach... Ready?"

Funniest thing about playing totk today was that I'm pretty sure I beat the fire temple boss in less than three minutes, but in the bosses defense! I had the full ember set on and a 60 leveled weapon so it was a lost cause the moment I was in the battle arena
