(RE)INTRODCUING...MILLICENT + MAUDE SWEETNAM || REPRISAL 

❛ Millicent Sweetnam was Gotham’s sweetheart. The beauty queen turned socialite easily won the hearts of many with her good looks and seemingly charitable nature. Even Bruce Wayne himself found himself smitten with her. Yet, when her mother, Merideth, was exposed as Gotham’s notorious crime boss “The Queenpin,” her life began to fall apart. While her criminally insane mother was thrown into Arkham, she and her younger sister, Maude, fell into the care of the one and only, Carmine Falcone. Over the course of the next couple of years, Millicent disappeared from the public eye, but not from the gaze of Bruce Wayne. At least, not initially. His obligations to his crime fighting alter ego pried his eyes from her for only a fleeting moment, but that fleeting moment was long enough for Millicent to go missing without a trace. It was as if she evaporated into thin air. Bruce vowed to do whatever it took to find her, even teaming up with her troubled younger sister, who might just be one step away from turning into her mother. With Gotham’s newest serial killer vying for his attention all the while, will Bruce be able to keep his promise? ❜

* —The many variations of the Sweetnams:

1) The Dark Knight Trilogy: Merideth Sweetnam-Morgan. The criminally insane wife of Court of Owls member, Malachi Morgan. Portrayed by Elisabeth Shue.

2) Batman vs. Superman/Snyder’s Cut: Merideth Sweetnam. An Arkham regular and wannabe crime boss who briefly won Bruce Wayne’s heart. Portrayed by Erin Richards.

3) Gotham: Meri Sweetnam. A classmate of Bruce Wayne’s at Anders Preparatory Academy. The two briefly bonded over their parent’s tragic deaths until Bruce uncovered the part she played in hers. Portrayed by Brighton Sharbino.

4) Titans: Maude Sweetnam. Introduced as the troubled young daughter of Gotham’s “Queenpin,” Merideth Sweetnam, who is later recruited into the team by Dick Grayson. She is best known for her connection to Jason Todd. Portrayed by Katherine McNamara. Her older sister Millicent, who was once entangled in a romance with Grayson, is also introduced but only appears in flashbacks. She is portrayed by Lili Simmons.

5) The Batman: Merideth, Millicent, and Maude Sweetnam. The variations are once again reintroduced as three separate characters. Merideth is an Arkham partient serving time for her criminally insane antics. Her two daughters, Millicent, and Maude, are a missing socialite and a troubled drop-head under Carmine Falcone’s care. In this version, Bruce Wayne is romantically linked to Millicent Sweetnam. Merideth is portrayed by Rosamund Pike, while Millicent and Maude are portrayed by Sasha Luss and Anya Taylor Joy respectively.

UNO REVERSE BBY I NEED ALL YOUR THOUGHTS ON LORNA & THE SWEETNAMS (a sick band name tbh) AND MAYHAPS EVEN BEATRIX & MEREDITH 😩🤌

Lorna + The Sweetnams 

▪ Lorna being practically the fourth Sweetnam by the other girl’s blessing. 

▪ Merideth treating Lorna like one of her own daughters and offering to go after Crane for her (forget Bruce she’s the real vengeance in Gotham)

▪ Millicent and Lorna clashing and bickering like real sisters. Sometimes even over Bruce Wayne because neither thinks the other is good enough for their boi. 

▪ Maude would be living for this not so friendly rivalry, much to their dismay. (she’s chaotic and lives for anarchy okay)

▪ Speaking of Maude, she would worship Lorna almost as much as she worships her mother. There are times she would look to her with the same guidance, especially while her mother is locked up in Arkham. 

▪ No one tell Millicent, but Maude has wished a couple times Lorna was her real sister in her place. The girl trusts Lorna much more than her own sister most of the time. This might be one of the few factors that made her trust Bruce and his theories on her disappearance. 

▪ I also picture Lorna being the first to figure out what really happened to Millicent. 

▪ Merideth might also ask for her help in her escape from Arkham 👀

Beatrix + Merideth 

▪ First and formerly how hot they look together is surely criminal in itself okay

▪ Merideth being off her rockers kind of gives her a sixth sense with regards to being able to tell when others are a bit mad just like her. Hence, she would be able to tell from the get go that there was something she liked about Beatrix

▪ Momma Sweetnam would refuse to cooperate with anyone other than Beatrix just so that she can have her around more often. “You’re the only one who gets me” being the main excuse

▪ Merideth will flirt, fight, and scheme her way into Beatrix’s heart as the other easily does the same

▪ While their connection starts off as a mere escape ploy, Merideth genuinely does grow to care for Beatrix, even promising to give her the world if she helps her out of Arkham

▪ Them just being a terrible influence on one another. Like fire and gasoline. 😈

▪ And still, this match made in hell couldn't feel more perfect to them.

▪ Maude would also 100% be their biggest supporter. Millicent not so much lmao.
