“No, James. You know that’s not an option,” Regulus sighs, his whole body trembling. It takes everything in him just to resist breaking down, crumbling into a pile of nothing at James’ feet. Giving in and taking the risk with him. But in the back of his mind he knows that he has to be strong for both of them, he can’t show James how much this is truly hurting him, that would only make it worse for James. And at the end of all of this all he cares about, all he will ever care about is James.
