Your ability to weave the precarious heights of her birthright, and the exploration into the tenets of patriarchal, militant imperialism from western powers encapsulated the questions we had when devising the skeleton. Loyalty for one’s mother country shattered by the unflinching reality of corrupted patriotism, the social politics of intersectional identity in these structures... How does one live with the wrongs enacted by one’s own hands? What “must” be done, had to be done? Was it the quest of righteousness or only for her to feel she proved herself to a man who deserted her? So, so excited to see the lengths she’ll go. It was, for us, an app that demanded respect and attention with grace. Just like Midge. We are so incredibly happy to invite you into the Foundation.
