Back on My Feet, Back on Track, But Not Quite Done Yet

I’m Back! 🎉

It's been a week since I posted, but I’m finally back on Tumblr, feeling recovered and ready to share my thoughts. I want to address something that’s been weighing on my heart. As a fan of Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, I want to be treated fairly and accepted by others but someone has made me feel like a nobody all because of my AI-generated art

Being told that my creations aren’t enjoyable and that I should “get off others’ skin” really stung. I’ve felt pressure to change my style to fit in.

but I wish to be accepted and respected as a fellow Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends fan if everyone gives me a chance.

I really didn't like what you said about my art and, I had to stop posting my AI-generated art to fit in also I felt like a nobody and deeply hurt because of you. Furthermore, I also don't appreciate the way you said to me that I should “get off others’ skin” and your skin which really stung me like a sharp pin. Overall, I'm expressing how I feel about what happened on that day. But I hope you understand that what you said to me that day was not okay because it hurt my feelings once and it hurt my feelings twice.

When I make these I sometimes like to add little details for some of their outfits, for example there’s a star on Connie’s shoulder pad which isn’t there on the original outfit. I’m so close to finishing smash 4 and I’ll soon move on to ULTIMATE.

May's collection of fan art. I was a lot prepared this month.

All the characters I Kin. Originally without Terrence, Bluey, Edd, and King Dice, but at the end of the day, I couldn't leave those four out. Took basically a week or so to finish.

Two douch bags i felt like drawing. "The Plan (F**k Jobs)" by The Front Bottoms reminded me of them somewhat. Especially Ram.

These two had birthdays this month, so I drew these. I was wrong about Denzel having a birthday in March.

(HC) Pinkie looks forward to her growth while Denzel is feeling depressed because of it. I'll probably draw a better birthday drawing for Denzel later on (most likely next year).

I finally got to listen to the Apple Sleep Experiment sequel. This was drawn during a relisten of the first one. I was trying to draw the sequel version, but I wasn't sure.

This is a drawing for my mom for Mother's Day. She cried from seeing it. Especially the words. (which were from the Valentine's special from EEnE but i thought it was perfect for this piece.)

I'm so glad she loved it :)

I got an idea for Father's Day, too.

"Imagine drawing May 1st art at the end of May. Lmao couldn't be me." Couldn't include May from Twelve/Origins, but I don't think anyone would really worry about that anyway.

Personally, I like these. Possibly more than the ones with words and reference pictures. What do you think? I think they're much cleaner, idk.

I had a lot done towards the beginning of the month, so I was actually prepared this time. I'm really glad for all of these, especially the Mother's Day fan art.

Even the people at my program were impressed, and someone even asked if I did commissions. I said that I hadn't been thinking about it. They said they would pay me to draw something for a relative of theirs, but I haven't been talking to them about it since.

Overall, though, I'm just glad that I'm getting better at drawing anything. I've also been looking through my old art recently, and yup, a lot of my style has changed.

I was even drawing some old characters into my recent work. Idk if any of you want to see them, tho. I would like to compare my first time drawing them to my latest time, I just need to find my old old work.

I really would appreciate it if I wasn't mistreated unfairly because I love Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends even though I love AI-generated art I can be a fan of Foster's Home of Imaginary Friends too, I just wanted to be treated equally other fellow Foster's Home of Imaginary Friends fans as well

I'm always amazed when people like my work enough to commission me multiple times at the same show. This creator asked for 3 sets of OCs:

A neglected boy with an imaginary part-"RAWR girl"-part-dragon big sister in the world of Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends,

A shy merchant and an excitable disguised princess in a historical Chinese setting,

And an introverted young author who isekai'd into One Piece world and got hair-growing Devil Fruit powers.

This one was inspired after a discussion with @lovelylivelyv after I finished Gravity Falls that Mabel was kinda like Bloo in that slot of people told to dunk on her for the whole fantasy bubble business. So since Ericka, Johnny, Bloo, and Mabel are all kinda unjustly hated by their fandoms, I liked the idea of them getting along. So I drew then together as a club and Mabel having made matching friendship Sweaters.

Ericka: A sunflower with bat wings and a heart (variation of a symbol I've used for Ericka in the past)

Johnny: Pizza (from his "Stuffed crust Pizza" line in HT 2)

Bloo: Paddleball

Mabel: I kinda based hers off the one in the opening thanks to the pose I drew her in.

The "Bloo is basically Cartman" crowd get really annoying, but honestly the "Bloo did nothing wrong it's everyone else's fault" crowd are just as annoying. Guys he's just a goofy little asshole who's fun to watch (most of the time) but sometimes needs to be thrown against a wall. That's really about it. He's a jerk but he's not this ultimate irredeemable character ("I Only Have Surprise For You" aside. We don't talk about that), and he's got his own problems (considering Mac's home life, Bloo was also there for a lot of it) but it also doesn't justify him being a jerk. He's just a funny asshole character that we can laugh at. That's really it.
