and things are seemingly getting quite wild ! 👀✨(let's pray our good master doesn't snap the sanity holy hecc--)

tbh he's the very reason why I became dead ass a simp of FGO- 🙇‍♀️🙇‍♀️🙇‍♀️ (and I think you all already know--) no reasons attached it's a Love at first sight kinda thing 👀👌✨ (squeals-)

anyway- I have a cute story when I drew this-- I went very "extra" when I did this one- and I think my back would make a noise if I move or smth-- 👁️👄👁️✨

@mako-neexu I just want you to know I had possibly the silliest edguda dream just now.

Papa Edmond (in his fancy clothes second ascension) conducting possible boyfriend interviews (knowing he'll never say yes to any of them) with Gudako at a mall? for some reason? before she announces she's hanging out with friends. This prompts a chase through the mall with Papa switching to his edgy first ascension and chasing Ritsuka before cheesing it and teleporting in front of her and pinning her to a bench with a cane (which honestly looked like it was made of the same stuff as his shadow claws in OG Edmonds 2nd ascension) and being super dramatic before asking if they can grab lunch together.

All of this took place in animal crossing btw. Fully voiced with other characters playing the potential suitors and during the chase I was dodging and juking Papa like he was some angry bees until he CHEATED and teleported in front of me 😑 literally forcing me towards the bench before lecturing me in a scripted cutscene.

all that for a big speech and all he wanted was to go grab some bad mall food with Gudako smh

so dramatic and for what? Ever on brand for Papa Edmond to do the most no matter what in a roundabout way for Guda

the plot isn't 1:1 for the book ofc (mostly cutting characters for brevity) but the sONGS THE SONGS MY GOD THE S O N G S.

hell to your doorstep is the big avenger number and i cannot get our dantes singing it out of my head there's even such good fire/flames metaphors in it also its a fucking BANGER

but. more pertinently. two of the big love songs - i will be there, a dantes/mercedes duet after dantes is imprisoned, and the man i used to be, the finale song - USE STAR METAPHORS!! THEY DO!!!

i'm gonna post lyrics chunks under a cut but holy shit my god please go listen i had these songs on repeat for literally hours after oc2 while sobbing over dantes and guda
