Heya! I have this little comfort project i've been working on in between highs and lows, and I think i can finally show it with confidence! Taking the pov of the minstrel for AUs is great, bc he's literally told more outlandish stories in canon than this one before, so with his pov you can truly go the full mile. With a little bit of shard timeline cacophony, a few weeks on the source of a difference would be decades backwards on the first. Therefore, itty bitty ryne (and her dadcred)! you can read it >here<, as i'm posting this, there's only two chapters, but i'll update it every now and then! Maybe you'll see little Gaia and how i'm about to make her life infinite times better by saving her early-

Ryne and her story of found family and getting a second chance at life despite her powers giving her the wrong start, it resonates very deeply with me. So i wanted to really pay homage to the message of her arc!

Feo Ul calls her “little blessing”, which played a major part in Thancred’s name pick for the little one.

Says her first word after nabaath areng, knows a total of 2 words in the whole story: “dada” for thancred, “iaia”for gaia.

Inevitably I turn everything into a FFXIV AU (and I have definitely given this one way too much thought).

They were both blessedcursed with the Echo at the same time. But do they want to be Warriors of Light? That remains to be seen.

Aziraphale is a Lalafell because every single Lalafell ever is either the bestest cinnamon roll that must be cherished or an absolute bastard. Sometimes both. Usually both.

Crowley is a Duskwight Elezen (hence the slightly ashy skin tone). I wasn’t sure at first whether to put him as Au’Ra for the reptile factor, but in the end I went Duskwight Elezen because:

Maximum weird lanky Wet Cat Kinda Guy vibes

Elezen means I can also put him in Ishgard for the Elf Catholicism

He has slit pupil eyes in this because it's pretty of An Incident with dragon blood.
