18. Do any of your stories have alternative versions? (plotlines that you abandoned, AUs of your own work, different characterisations?) Tell us about them.

Ahaha, you know how many AAUs we’ve come up with for the FFVI/GT AU. Ones where Jowd was the one duplicated, rather than Cabanela. Where Jowd or Alma fell with Cabs onto the island, rather than Pigeon Man/Cidgeon. Where Cabanela and Cidgeon came to Figaro early as refugees. As far as my own works go, I probably have the most abandoned WIPs for Pyre? I try not to abandon anything forever and just keep it all for future use ( guess I’m a writing hoarder in that sense...), but I find Volfred intensely difficult to write and Oralech even more so. I have several on-hiatus fics for the AU too; there’s one that looks at each of the trio through the lens of their childhood selves but writing child versions of adult people is hard and I keep second-guessing. Original characterizations: My characterization of Molten Milithe in The Spark of Creation is entirely my own, bolstered by as much meta as I could pull from the game script and the descriptions of things that had anything to do with her. However, I tried to make her, in the long run, significantly more grey-natured than my original writing of her. I do tend to lean towards too soft, but she is a spark about to burst into a wildfire, not some cozy campfire. If I ever write more of her, I hope to focus more on some of the experiments she did to herself to become “molten”...

21. What other medium do you think your story would work well as? (film, webcomic, animated series?) I would go absolutely nuts on a video game version of the FFVI/GT AU, obviously, but I think I would die of astonished euphoria if someone were to turn one of my stories into an audio version with, like, sound effects and stuff. And music!

I think The Long Road Home would work well as a comic? Maybe? Or illustrated anyway. Like Rain, likewise, although I think I just think that because I can see the pivotal scene illustrated so clearly. The Spark of Creation also has this one scene that I would absolutely love to see animated...

22. Do you reread your old works? How do you feel about them?

I do reread them. Generally when someone comments but sometimes when I need to check a plot point I referenced but don’t remember how I referenced it, exactly. I like rereading them; in some cases it’s seeing how far I’ve come, or seeing where I’d like to go. The Long Road Home still makes me emotional to read--it was an emotional write too, so it’s nice to know it holds up. I don’t think I’ve put up anything I actively dislike, although I definitely take notes of things I’d want to change if I ever rewrote, like in The Soul of a Queen.

Lothric from Dark Souls - he is a new blog I have yet to really write on, I just wanted a blog where I could write entire posts in ye olde  antiquated english.

Jecht from FFX - Inactive, I never really had an opportunity to do proper writing with him, but he’s still there for when I want to write a muse I can’t relate to at all. I’m very fond of him as a character.

Gladio from FFXV - Inactive, made because my friend wanted me to. I have never played FFXV and have no idea what the hell I am doing on that blog… It’s pretty abysmal. I’m sorry to all the fans of this game. ; v ;

Leo from FFVI - Inactive ,Made for same friend… An interesting case in that as many headcanons we’ve made for him, I genuinely can’t stand this character and kind of just want him to suffer… Which is all this blog is for. I know, I know… I’m blasphemous. It’s probably why I find him difficult to write too.

Rosier/ Duke Dionte Laurent Du Chatelier, oc - Inactive. My longest lived oc and an antagonist in my webcomic. A vain, pompous blowhard who, despite being obsessed with his own beauty, is a spaghetti tangle mess of veins in his real form. Would eat babies if they had less calories.

**Emergency pause!** Hello, everyone! How are you all doing? ^^ I'm making this post to let you know that FFVI Webcomic will be taking a little pause during the month of March! I'm planning to move so I need to organize some things and I prefer to have a more free schedule to take care of those and not worry to rush anything! I also want to give priority to my mental health during this pause too ^^ We're halfway through Chapter 8! I don't believe another mid-chapter pause will be necessary but if anything happens I'll always let you guys know beforehand and keep you all updated! I know this is rather sudden, I wasn't planning this pause either but I think it's for the best! I hope you all understand ❤ FFVI Webcomic will be back before you know it!
