So, the 10th Anniversary week of FNaF is over. Looking back on this franchise and how special it is to me, remembering how I became a part of the community after the first two games came out and the third one was being teased. It's still crazy to me that 10 years ago, FNaF was a horror game that was created by one man and 10 years later, FNaF is one of the biggest horror franchises in gaming history! I can remember beating the first two games on the Kindle and it was such a surreal moment, but who would have thought that there would be many sequels after the main trilogy (4-UCN), many spin-off games (World, FiS 2, FiS 3, FR), two incredible VR games, an AR game, the biggest Non-VR installment with a phenomenal DLC (SB/Ruin), tons of merchandise, countless fangames, talented people who made the greatest fansongs for the series, pillars of the community in the form of YouTubers (Markiplier, MatPat, Dawko, 8-BitGaming, FuhNaff, RyeToast, etc.), the fans, the loved composers making absolute bangers for the games and the movie(s) (Leon Riskin, Allen Simpson, A Shell In The Pit, The Newton Brothers, etc.), the many iconic characters not only created by Scott Cawthon himself, but by bigger organisations of people who made it their mission to carry on the legacy of Scott (Steel Wool Studios, Illumix, Mega Cat Studios, etc.) but also by the fans who work tirelessly to figure out the lore of the series and give characters their own style of personality, bringing life to those who seemed to have none, the insane amount of theories and headcanons within the puzzled minds of theorists and fans alike, the crazy amount of books that still wrack our brains to this day (FF, TFtP, SE trilogy, etc.), the nostalgic easter eggs hidden throughout every installment that inspired others to create their very own hoaxes to fool the community, and most importantly the massive success of the games was unexpectedly recognised when Scott was losing hope in his career when his previous game (Chipper & Sons Lumber Co.) didn't have the same effect on people that FNaF eventually would and therefore, led to the production and overwhelming success of the groundbreaking first ever FNaF movie! Seeing it in the cinema on the big screen was an incredible experience that I will never forget. It still amazes me that I went from a small Kindle screen, to an Xbox/TV screen, to a cinema screen and just thinking about the depth of it all made me emotional because I've never stopped loving and caring about this franchise. The impact of it's very existence is still unrivalled, many have tried to recreate the feel and atmosphere of the mascot horror genre that FNaF created with their own games (Poppy Playtime, Garten Of Banban, Tattletail, Bendy and the Ink Machine, etc.) Some succeeded and even became their own stand-alone franchises, of course FNaF didn't completely create the mascot horror genre, it not only reignited it but made it grow in popularity, hence the creation of many beloved fangames of the series. This is such an exciting time for the FNaF community, and I could say much more about the entirety of FNaF, but there's just simply too much of the surface to scratch. Here's to the eventful 10 years of Five Nights at Freddy's!

I really like your wirting! I've been really wondering if the scenario here is that the self-aware Yandere Sephiroth, he'd probably still go crazy and mad. But as if he most interesting in fem!player!reader (she is «goddess» for him). Suffering from an existential crisis, he begins to destroy all the "fake", acts more violently in the "game" (causing those events that should not have happened even opening additional scenes that should not be in the game, the AI acts pretty tough taking off all the xp for one minor blow, plus creepy looking right at the player!) Kind of like trying to get into fem!reader world or move her into FF's world. Probably through the "weird" dialogues in the game Aerith (also breaks the 4-wall, but not like Sephy) is trying to keep and save fem!reader from Sephiroth by gently hinting to "delete the game" before it's too late.

Reader: Wow... new scary Easter egg! Stop! It's strange that there's no information on the Internet about these Easter eggs... And it's starting to look like Creepypasta...

You might think that you downloaded a fan image of the game, maybe that's why there are additional cutscenes, but Aerith's hints scare you. She often speaks not to Cloud, but to you. Saying "it all seems like such a strange game! Doesn't it, Cloud? We need to stop Sephiroth before he destroys this entire universe!" 

You are a little scared, but your interest in the game does not disappear, which is why you continue to enter the game and try to find the "new content" that you came across in the game.

However, now Sephiroth, seeing you face to face, speaks to you. No more with Cloud.

"You think it's all Easter eggs, don't you? Whether I disappoint you or not, we'll see you very soon. Darling." and now you realize that it was a big mistake.

However, when you feel a touch on your shoulder, and you realize that someone is standing behind you….

omg im gonna cry y'all the most awesome readers. i actually have not finished any ffs before despite starting a bunch (bbc sherlock holmes, james bond, and marvel glaring at me). all of you became the very reason this ff has seen the sunlight. the plot, prologue, and excerpts of this have been sitting in my notes way before season three. i had written it originally with anthony as third party in mind and had to rewrite the prologue since we have kate now. idk what to say else i just love you all so much—still mad abt fucking eggs and some callbacks y'all missed tho. drop your favorite lines or quotes or anythingg. let's have an active convo abt everything that happened in the comments coz y'all fucking crazy and i love it!

- righttt, fourty-six soldiers for the 47 ronin inspo!! that's like the part i loved the most coz it was so apt for the story and i just realized when we're at chapt nine

the writing process:

- brooo i swear this was supposed to be like a cliche romcom ff like the most that was to happen was the angry confession,, but then i laid down on my bed one night we were around chapter two or three and then it just entered my mind like im gonna fucking kill this girl and everything was a huge coincidence like how her father is in the military and such. so i just had fun really figuring the story out on the process too. in a way, i was like an audience myself as i watched it all unfold in my mind. oh and the harry potter one about the fourth book and sht was the real coincidence lol i did not know about that at all.

anyways, that was it and it's a wrap for now and then aaaaaaaa y'all consumed my life for two weeks thank you so much everyone! will always love youuu!

I have. a bit too much (3) art things to show you so I'm just sending them at once, why send them in different asks if they're all done, y'know? Anyways

First off, the Genders (he/him (Ed), she/her (Mooch), they/them (Moray) and cool hat (Ace)) oh and FF comparison I guess. I wanted to add the mouth you gave Mooch but it just wasn't working with everything else so I had to scrap it, and I have no idea what type of animal Ace is supposed to be if any, sort of reminds me of an axolotl

So. Guess who's apparently a filthy fucking liar. I did a Ceroba Only Neutral Run the other day (Ceroba being the only boss I killed, you can actually do Geno without killing Dalv in version 1.1, it temporarily takes you off of it until you kill 20 monsters in Snowdin, and I have never ever killed Dalv, Starlo or Guardener IN BATTLE SPECIFICALLY in my runs. Also sparing him in Geno is arguably worse since not only do you give him survivors guilt, but he ALSO gaslights himself into thinking that HE killed everyone in the Ruins, so I may have never technically done a Genocide run, but I HAVE done a No Mercy run, aren't I so kind?) and... yeah. I really enjoy adding in little Easter Eggs, like in-game Ceroba's design being the little cracks on her dress, or the silly little Flowey in the tree design, also the green stuff is vines, not any Acid so Clover will NOT be taking a sip (I had to include that because I learned from Axis and was not going to be hand drawing that background dear GOD no, so I had to entirely cover up Ceroba's sprite since the background is just my reference screenshot, you can only really tell from the / in the HP)

Anyways enjoy! These should be my last traditional art ideas (there are still the Pixel Clovers, also if you do end up making the side profile before I finally get around to trying it myself then I will use that instead, in the mean time I think nmm!Clover is up next, thankfully it will only be the front since there's no change to the back)...

This is anti-canon, more deletion and re-writing of unpalatable things (bonus emotional stupidity of a non-stoic Wednesday in the first highlight):

Diluting or removing these lines saps the Weird™, the kooky and the spooky from The Addamses (but I suppose that's par for Mejia's course since that little Easter egg during Wednesday's and Tyler's exchange at the Harvest Festival was deleted too). Mejia's Addamses are people who just look funny and make the occasional slightly askew comment, which is probably the opposite of what they were trying to achieve; it's not necessarily how they look that makes them Weird™, it's what they all say and do. Wednesday herself is only slightly weird, because hey, she has cutesy inner thoughts* as well — don't all 16-year-old girls do? Her parents certainly can't be inappropriately graphic about their love lives in public because that'd make them too weird, right? Right.

We do not get a sense of the kind of twisted that the Addamses are from either that exchange or from m!Pugsley's "physically tortured" substitution. All of it is just too vague and subjective. For some people, tickling is physical torture. For others (like Wednesday), just having their hand held would be physical torture. We don't know what m!Pugsley considers to be torture, and because of socially conscious m!Wednesday, we don't know what kind of 'physical torture' she would impart on the little brother that she maimed others for bullying. Gone is the humorous imagery of NC Wednesday waterboarding NC Pugsley, which calls us back to the 1990's movies' equally dark and tough dynamic of Ricci's Wednesday and Workman's Pugsley.

I'm surprised the dude even bothered to keep Pugsley's potpourri eating in there (because you know, spectrum, pica, developmental delays, mental illness, all of those could surely cause Pugsley to be the victim of circumstances and thus his abnormal behavior shouldn't be exploited!11).

Bonus: of course the scene began with more of those third person POV vibes

*It would more than likely be the opposite, given how much of her blackened soul she actually articulates. There are several areas in which she lies, but that behavior coupled with her willingness to commit assaults/attempted murder should tell you that there's much worse behind the sharply blunt statements and cold sarcasm, not a character who felt anything at all for any of the friendly weirdos around her until she started to lose them. She needed to go through some growth, however Fester's distracting presence still proved her to be stubbornly stuck on herself and proving herself right.

When did you start writing?

I first started writing mainly lyrics when I was a teenager. Then, I became interested in developing games and drafted a few ideas and outlines for games. But with Baldur's Gate it's the first time I'm writing anything longer.

Are there different themes or genres you enjoy reading than what you write?

Not really. I write what I'd like to read. I'm not into heavy dead dove or too kinky (for my taste) stuff, so I neither write nor read it.

Is there a writer you want to emulate or get compared to often?

I haven't been compared to any writer. I enjoy Andrej Sapkowskis stuff from The Witcher and R.A Salvatore's Drizzt stuff.

Can you tell me a bit about your writing space?

I write mainly on my laptop. I have a very small desk and there's usually a coffee mug, some snacks/breakfast or dinner next to me and letters I have to go through.

What's your most effective way to muster up a muse?

I am a serial daydreamer. When commuting I listen to music and even at home daydreaming and music are my muse.

Are there any recurring themes in your writing? Do they surprise you?

I don't have any recurring themes afaik.

What is your reason for writing?

I like telling stories and it fills me with joy when people enjoy my little dancing brainworms.

Is there any specific comment or type of comment you find particularly motivating?

Any comment is motivating. If I feel the story isn't enjoyed by people or if people can't even muster a keyboard smash then I do think I have failed. Artists and writers live from comments. People are right when they say we have a praise kink lol.

How do you want to be thought about by your readers?

Fondly? I don't know, honestly. If I leave one mark on this world even a little, it's an accomplishment.

What do you feel is your greatest strength as a writer?

I believe it's a good flow and keeping character's core intact. I consumed many TV shows and movies as a kid, and it influenced me a lot, I'd say.

How do you feel about your own writing?

There's always things to improve on, but simultaneously I try not to dwell too much on it else the imposter would have my heart in its hands.

When you write, are you influenced by what others might enjoy reading, or do you write purely for yourself, or a mix of both?

I try to keep the writing as much as I envisioned it as possible. I only add stuff that might be considered easter eggs or insiders.

welp it seems pretty clear they're done with that, because i'm sorry but this just looks awful. the font? bad! the horse/lasso clipart? bad! the layout? very, very bad!

actual Mystery of the Seven Keys merch ffs why isn't it called Case of the Seven Keys that sounds so much better has dropped - and while it's nothing special (though some of it is weird - hey do you want an 8x10 metal print of the game 'cover' awkwardly centred on a blurred, indistinct background? 'cause HeR made 'em!) it seems like they can't decide what nancy silhouette to use? because while most of it uses the new exorcist-head-turn pants-y drew silhouette, they've also got a couple pieces with the classic silhouette - the one they haven't used since Stay Tuned for Danger. because who needs brand consistency.

(the nancy silhouette use from mhm to sea - aka for nearly 90% of the games - has not resurfaced.)

the presence of actual KEY merch raises the spectre of who they think is gonna buy all the merch they made during the lead-up to the game - seriously is there any reason someone would buy this now?

the 25 year anniversary merch is a whole load of bad - the 'and all i got was this lousy _____' trend is lame, and has been for 10,000 years, but there are worse crimes. the mug is just boring in a way that looks unfinished rather than minimalistic. font crimes from the magnifying glass - every time i see it i think it says 'snoopers' not 'snooping'. i actually thought the teal callback designs were kind of neat in a nostalgia-bait kind of way until i realized the necklaces were the only option without all the text under the magnifying glass? maybe folks who were more active on the boards get a nostalgia kick from that last one but i'll be honest, it does nothing for me.

Okay, today is the kind of day where I really can't just scroll past something like this nonsense without comment [X]. To paraphrase: D/C fans totes loved Jared and really wanted to support Walker but just couldn't because the finale was such a betrayal :( :( :(. We're not hateful for the sake of being bitter, it's just so sad we had to turn on Jared because [implied batshit crazy]! FFS.

First, as if we don't remember how many fucking times hellers attacked Jared over utter bullshit long before the finale. Not only have they always been hateful little shits, they've always lied through their teeth about it. Some post from three years ago doing the same old same old, "Oh we're totally the GOOD side of fandom who never hate anybody, lookit our halos!" song and dance doesn't mean jack shit.

Second, what the fuck do they think being bitter means? "The tv show I was watching refused to cater to me personally by throwing away the core premise and genre of the show, which is totally unfaiiiiir - despite common sense and me being told repeatedly they wouldn't ever do so. Therefore I'm going to quote unquote punish the network and the stars by not watching any of their other shows! So there!" Like ... what? It's absurdly bitter - not to mention childish. Which doesn't even get into the giant black hole of logic that is blaming the actors for the writing which was done by the, y'know, writers.

But let's pretend for a moment it's not inherently bitter (as well as fucking ridiculous) to be butthurt a tv show didn't end in bad OOC fanfic out of nowhere and to blame the actors for it. They still prove it's nothing more than sour grapes bitter shipwar bullshit by ONLY singling out Jared and Walker. If they were really actually trying to avoid supporting the CW and ALL those involved in the finale rightfully disappointing their delusional asses? Misha conspired a year in advance to queerbait them with Castiel's death scene, pitched only as one-sided and with him knowing Castiel wouldn't be in the final two episodes. Jensen knew the ending was centering on the brothers as early as Jared did when they talked with the writers and played just at least as much of a part in adding little touches to make the finale as brother-centric as it was, including removing dialogue mentions of Castiel. Jensen also nodded along with Jared's Denvercon answer about how Castiel's death speech wasn't inherently romantic and added his own concurring opinion. And yet somehow, just by pure coincidence, really, I'm sure! It's only Walker and Jared they decided to boycott - while most of them wandered around proclaiming how happy they were to tune in to TW and GK on the supposedly oh-so-evil CW. But they totes love Jared, really! 🙄 They just can't help personally blaming just him for the finale because if there is a reboot he isn't half their shitty ship there was, like, totally an Easter egg mentioning going to Texas or whatever! Yeah! The finale is totally Walker propaganda!!! So they just couldn't watch only that CW show, though they really really wanted to! 😢

and honestly i wasn’t really thinking of writing a part 2 for suburbia BUT at the same time i lowkey very much do need to read/write a fic of sungchan as a father before i go insane…i’ve also received SEVERAL requests about anton as a dad so who knows maybe i’ll end up accidentally creating an au where riize are dads and they all somehow know eachother😭 (this will not be soon though i don’t think just cuz i’m working on other stuff)
