Will Ospreay
Darby Allin
Ricochet
Jay White
Mark Briscoe (ROH men's world champion)
Daniel Garcia
Orange Cassidy
Kyle O'Reilly
HOOK
Katsuyori Shibata
Men's singles division - heels
Jon Moxley (AEW men's world champion)
Kazuchika Okada (AEW continental champion)
Adam Page
Konosuke Takeshita (AEW international champion)
Christian Cage
Jack Perry (AEW TNT champion)
Chris Jericho
Kyle Fletcher
Shelton Benjamin
Roderick Strong
Unranked: Aaron Solo, Angelico, AR Fox, Atlantis Jr.*, Big Bill, Bryan Keith, Hologram, Jeff Jarrett, Johnny TV, Juice Robinson, Komander, Lio Rush*, Minoru Suzuki*, Nick Wayne, Rocky Romero*, Serpentico/Jon Cruz, The Butcher
Jobbers: Alpha Zo*, BEEF*, Chris Nastyy*, Cody Chhun*, Jack Cartwheel*, Joe Keys*, Marcus Mathers*, Matt Brannigan*, Olumide*, Ryan Clancy*, TJ Crawford
* Not listed on AEW's official roster webpage
Moxley has declared war on the AEW roster (or at least the men's locker room), and it feels like he'll spend at least the next six months clobbering wave after wave of "complacent" midcarders. Darby Allin is clearly being set up as a major destination for this saga, but I'm not certain if he'll be Moxley's first big challenger, or if he'll be saved for the end like Sting in 1997. There's also foreshadowing of Orange Cassidy and Daniel Garcia stepping up, and I think Hook and Kyle O'Reilly would fit in that role as well. But only one guy can get the rub of dethroning Mox, and we'll just have to wait and see who that will be.
Heading into Full Gear on November 23, the other top programs look to be Jay White vs. Adam Page, Ospreay vs. Fletcher, Takeshita vs. Fletcher, Jericho vs. Briscoe, Garcia vs. Perry, Swerve Strickland vs. Shelton Benjamin, and Adam Cole vs. MJF. I expect Hook vs. Christian Cage will be a thing too, but right now it's just an educated guess that Christian is the one who attacked Hook's father.
Men's tag team division - babyfaces
The Acclaimed - Max Caster & Anthony Bowens
FTR - Dax Wheeler & Cash Wheeler
Private Party - Isiah Kassidy & Marq Quen
Dustin Rhodes (ROH trios champion) & Sammy Guevara (ROH tag team champions)
The Outrunners - Truth Magnum* & Turbo Floyd*
Men's tag team division - heels
The Young Bucks - Matt Jackson & Nick Jackson (AEW tag team champions)
Grizzled Young Veterans - James Drake* & Zack Gibson*
MxM Collection - Mason Madden* & Mansoor*
Matt Taven & Mike Bennett
Brian Cage (ROH men's television champion) & Lance Archer
Iron Savages - Bulk Bronson* & Beefcake Boulder*
* Not listed on AEW's official roster webpage
The state of the tag division is this: The Bucks are heel champions with no one to fight. The Acclaimed haven't ever gotten a clean two-on-two title shot all year, but they don't seem to be in a hurry to get it anymore. FTR and Private Party already lost to the Bucks. The Outrunners, MxM, and the Iron Savages are all cool as hell, but they're comedy acts that can't beat anybody. I don't think GYV have been around since they got upset by the Outrunners, which may be a sign that they aren't going to be back. Rhodes-Guevara and Taven-Bennett are big deals in ROH but off the radar in AEW. Don Callis has put Cage and Archer together to chase the tag title, but I don't see that going anywhere as long as the champions are also heels.
I'd like to see Private Party rack up a big win to get back into the title hunt, but I don't see why that should turn out any differently than the title match they just lost last week. So it feels like the division is going nowhere, marking time until the Golden Lovers (Kenny Omega and Kota Ibushi) are ready to feud with the Bucks. Which, I'd be fine with doing that feud, but not if it means keeping the division in deep freeze for a couple more months.
Men's trios division - babyfaces
Malakai Black & Brody King & Buddy Matthews
Action Andretti & Dante Martin & Darius Martin
Dark Order - Evil Uno & John Silver & Alex Reynolds
Men's trios division - heels
Claudio Castagnoli & Wheeler Yuta & PAC (AEW trios champions)
La Faccion Ingobernable - Rush & Dralistico & The Beast Mortos
Premier Athletes - Tony Nese & Josh Woods & Ariya Daivari
Moxley's running buddies control the trios title, which works out well since all the undercard scrubs they keep beating up can then demand a match and get clobbered in a trios match. This seems to be giving Dark Order and Action-Darius-Dante something to work with, even if it's not much and they have no hope of winning. I think Daniel Garcia and Private Party would be a stronger trio to go after the title, but they're not done yet with Jack Perry and the Young Bucks.
The House of Black is remarkably well protected for a group that never figures into any major storylines. Are they being built up to take the belts from Claudio, Pac, and Yuta? Could Julia Hart return to counter Marina Shafir? Who knows.
I stuck LFI in the trios division because I really don't know what those three guys are going to do, now that they're all in the same team with Jake Roberts. I don't think AEW knows either, so that'll probably lead to a bunch of throwaway trios matches. Hopefully they can at least win those matches, which would keep them ahead of Neese-Woods-Daivari.
Women's division - babyfaces
Britt Baker
Willow Nightingale
Jamie Hayter
Kris Statlander
Anna Jay
Queen Aminata
Nyla Rose
Yuka Sakazaki
Lady Frost*
Trish Adora*
Women's division - heels
Mariah May (AEW women's world champion)
Mercedes Mone (AEW TBS champion, STRONG women's champion)
Kamille
Serena Deeb
Taya Valkyrie
Emi Sakura
Harley Cameron
Robyn Renegade*
Jobbers: Amira*, Brooke Havok*, Zoey Lynn*
* Not listed on AEW's official roster webpage
You'd think Marina Shafir would be running rough-shod over the women's division to lock up its top title the way Moxley has with the men. The problem is that moving the world title would disrupt the Mariah May/Toni Storm/Mina Shirakawa storyline. I guess Shafir could crush Mone, but I don't know if that would do either of them any good. Sooner or later, though, it will become clear that Marina is the woman to beat, which will get awkward if there are too many champions that can't beat her.
As it is, the big programs for the women right now are Mariah vs. Anna Jay, Mone and Kamille vs. Statlander, and, uh, Jamie Hayter vs. Penelope Ford? It feels like there should be more going on right now. But I don't know where Britt and Willow are headed, Deonna Purrazzo and Taya Valkyrie keep doing pre-taped promos about nothing, and Toni Storm is still roaming the world pretending she doesn't know who Mariah May is. After five years AEW's women's roster finally has some real depth, but that only gets the division so far when it only gets 3-4 matches per week.
No televised AEW matches in over 30 days: Abadon, Athena (ROH women's world champion), Brandon Cutler, Diamante, Lee Moriarty (ROH pure champion), Marhsall Von Erich* (ROH trios champion), Preston Vance, Red Velvet (ROH women's television champion), Ross Von Erich* (ROH trios champion), Shane Taylor, Shawn Dean
* Not listed on AEW's official roster webpage
Not much new to report about the wrestlers officially signed to AEW but almost exclusively appearing on Ring of Honor. They're on the shows, they're getting work, it's just that almost nobody hears about it. The worst part is most of these names can't even get booked on an ROH pay-per-view.
No televised AEW or ROH matches in over 30 days: Anthony Ogogo, Angelo Parker, Austin Gunn, Bishop Kaun, Bobby Dutch, Colten Gunn, Deonna Purrazzo, Griff Garrison, Hikaru Shida, Jay Lethal, Kip Sabian, Leila Grey, Lee Johnson, Marina Shafir, Matt Menard, Peter Avalon, Swerve Strickland, Thunder Rosa, Toa Liona, Toni Storm, Vincent Marseglia
The bad news is that I don't know why most of these wrestlers haven't been in the ring lately, but the good news is most of them haven't been completely MIA. Some were around in late August/early September, some are on the show right now but not wrestling, and some are booked for the next couple of weeks. That's what I like to see.
No televised AEW or ROH matches in over 90 days: Colt Cabana, Danhausen, Kiera Hogan, Madison Rayne, Mercedes Martinez, Penta El Zero Miedo, Powerhouse Hobbs, Rey Fenix, Ricky Starks
These are the wrestlers I'm worried about. Colt and Madison seem to be transitioning to backstage roles and/or semi-retirement, so that's okay. But I have no idea why Tony Khan would have Danhausen, Starks, Penta, and Fenix on the payroll and not book them. I realize Penta and Fenix are reportedly planning to go to WWE, but that doesn't mean you can use them to do a few jobs on the way out. Hobbs is supposed to be medically cleared, so I don't understand why he wasn't around for the big Don Callis Family promo on October 16. Hogan and Martinez seem to have fallen off the face of the earth.
No televised AEW or ROH matches in 2024: Adam Cole, Kota Ibushi, Michael Nakazawa, Miro, Penelope Ford, Scorpio Sky, Tay Melo
Cole and Ford just got back and should be returning to the ring imminently. Ibushi has already returned to the ring in Japan and I figure he'll be back in an AEW ring soon enough. I've heard Melo is training to return from maternity leave so it's probably just a matter of time. Nakazawa seems to just be a backstage guy at this point. It was recently reported that Miro requested his release, but evidently he hasn't gotten it. AEW was running hype videos for Scorpio a few months ago but then dropped it, so I have no idea.
Part-time/semi-retired: Alex Abrahantes, Karen Jarrett, Luther, Mark Sterling, Nigel McGuinness, Paul Wight, Prince Nana, Rebel, Satnam Singh, Sonjay Dutt, Stokely Hathaway
I suppose I'll have to move Bryan Danielson into this list, once he's gotten his neck issues worked out and if he can still go on a part-time basis.
Inactive
Adam Copeland (left leg - tibia fracture)
Angel Ortiz (right shoulder - pectoralis tear)
Bandido (left arm - wrist fracture)
Bryan Danielson (storyline injuries - probably to set up legit neck surgery)
Chuck Taylor (left ankle - necrosis)
Eddie Kingston (right leg - tibia fracture, ACL/meniscus tear)
Julia Hart (shoulder - unspecified injury)
Keith Lee (undisclosed injury)
Kenny Omega (diverticulitis)
Killswitch (double pneumonia)
Leyla Hirsch (elbow - dislocation)
Mark Davis (left arm - wrist fracture)
Matt Sydal (right foot - malunion fractures)
MJF (filming Happy Gilmore 2)
Nick Comoroto (hip resurfacing)
Riho (work visa delays)
Ruby Soho (pregnant)
Samoa Joe (filming Twisted Metal season 2)
Saraya (storyline - "incapacitated")
Skye Blue (right ankle - fracture)
The Blade (lower back - herniated disc)
Trent Beretta (neck - hardware removal surgery)
Wardlow (knee - unspecified injury)
I haven't heard any significant updates on any of these wrestlers. Lately it seems like a report will come out that so-and-so is medically cleared, and then so-and-so still sits in the twilight zone for months before they come back. So even if there was news I don't think it would help us estimate when a wrestler will return to the ring.

My AEW Revolution 2024 Predictions
I am so excited for this ppv and I have to much energy on myself so, deal with it
Tornado Tag Match Sting's Last Match - Darby Allin & Sting (AEW Tag Team Champions) VS Golf Trainers- oh sorry- AEW EVP'S Matthew & Nicholas Jackson
Let's start with the cherry on the top, I am so ready to cry on this match, even knowing that most likely Sting will appear again on AEW but not wrestling again
But for sure, 100% that the not Young Bucks anymore will win this match - I mean if its Sting's last match will Darby defend both belts alone?? I mean he is capable of it. but come on, one last match of this amazing tag team against the non Young Bucks is the perfect finish for this era
AEW WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP - Samoa Joe (C) VS Swerve Strickland VS Hangman Adam Page
Everyone is imagining that it will Swerve versus Hangman and Samoa Joe will be like third wheeling or something like that
this one will be pretty intense both men fighting for the gold and Samoa Joe defending it
I really want Swerve to win it but I think Samoa Joe will retain it, I mean it's the first ppv that he defends it
AEW WOMEN'S WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP - "Timeless" Toni Storm (C) VS Deonna Purrazo
Besides the Zero Hour one with Kris and Willow versus Julia Hart and Skye Blue, this is the only women´s match on the ppv..........come on AEW, your women's division is so freaking powerful and you still don´t know how to properly promoted, and we are on the International Women's month, come on......
I think Deonna Purrazo will win it for sure, but if Toni retains it I am so excited to see how this feud will keep going, because this feud was so well played, I am more than seated for this match
AEW INTERNATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP - Orange Cassidy (C) VS Roderick Strong
It has to be Orange Cassidy, if it isn´t I will shave my eyebrows
Roderick Strong is being too annoying for Orange it has to be our denim and thumbs up man
AEW CONTINENTAL CROWN CHAMPIONSHIP - Eddie Kingston (C) VS Bryan Danielson
I am a bit uncertain with this one, but I think Eddie will retain it
and what an hell of a match this will be
Will Ospreay VS Konosuke Takeshita
another one that I am have no clue too who might win
but I guess Will Ospreay
TNT CHAMPIONSHIP - (Pro Pokemon Hunter) Christian Cage (C) VS Daniel Garcia
I am so excited for this one
But still for how much I would like to see Daniel with the gold, I am 100% sure that the Patriarchy will mess with this match
But its more than time for Daniel to be a champion (again)
FTR VS Jon Moxley & Claudio Castagnoli
I am also unsure about this one, just to be different
But I think Jon Moxley and Claudio Castagnoli will win it
ALL STAR 8-MAN SCRAMBLE - Dante Martin VS HOOK (FTW Champion) VS Brian Cage VS Magnus VS Chris Jericho VS Powerhouse Hobbs VS Brian Cage VS Wardlow
yes I am pretty HOOK biased but I dont think he will win this one, even tho I am an huge fan of this fighting big dudes agenda
also 2/5 of the Lads fighting each other
also 3/5 of Team Taz fighting each other
I think it will be more between Hobbs and Wardlow for sure, after yesterday's Collision
Zero Hour: Kris Statlander & Willow Nightingale VS Julia Hart (TBS Champion) & Skye Blue
I am so excited for this one!!!
I think it will be Kris and Willow, in my mind if it Julia and Skye Blue, I think Willow will possibly turn on Kris idk why
Zero Hour: 12 MAN TAG MATCH - Bang Bang Scissor Gang VS Jeff Jarrett, Jay Lethal, Satnam Singh, Private Party & Willie Mack
Come on it has to be Bang Bang Scissor Gang because they are Bang Bang Scissor Gang!!!!!!!!!
Anyway, what do you guys think?? Pls talk to me-

Double or Nothing 2024 Fantasy Booking
Here's my bookings for the DoN card! Note these aren't necessarily what I think will happen but they are what I would like to happen. I'll rank how hype I am for the match too, with 1/5 being "I'll probably use this as a bathroom break" and 5/5 being "I am most looking forward to this".
Thunder Rosa vs. Deonna Purrazzo (2/5 hype)
Rosa, by virtue of being an existing AEW fan fave. I think the sucky part about this matchup is it feels like "Toni Storm's leftovers" as far as story goes. I haven't been following super closely though. I wish I could give Deonna the W because I think she deserves better as one of Impact's big stars. But they haven't really set up much and I'm fond of Rosa. Kind of wish Rosa had the world championship right now, ngl. I think Toni could finish her "Mariah May's heart on a pole match" without the belt.
Adam Copeland vs. Malakai Black, (4/5 hype)
Copeland, who DOESN'T want to see Malakai get beaten at his own game, out SPOOKED in a vampire way. Plus I too am hoping this loops back to Christian Cage old man yaoi (SUPERNATURAL STYLE!!!)
Roderick Strong vs. Will Ospreay (1/5 hype)
I know Ospreay is going over and I wish he wasn't here at all.
Trent Beretta vs. Orange Cassidy (4/5 hype)
Trent needs to poor little meow meow Orange SO hard. I wanna see his big eyes like o_O after. I would love Orange to start a new faction with Hook and Shibata. Sunglasses guys....
Bang Bang Gang vs. Death Triangle (5/5 hype)
I am SOOOO hype for this match. BBG for sure, it's too soon for them to lose the belts and they can definitely pull some shit to tip the scales in their favor. I won't be mad if it's Death Triangle though -- they deserve the world :) Favourite booking would be BBG win leading into a PAC vs. Jay big singles that Jay loses at the next PPV. That would be electric hehe.
Chris Jericho vs. Hook vs. Katsuyori Shibata (3/5 hype)
This would so be a 4/5 match if it weren't for the Jericho of it all. I wish I felt differently about the FTW belt tbh-- I'm just sort of booking Shibata to win cause he's my guy and re-belting Jericho or Hook feels boring. The problem is the FTW belt always felt like a "meme" belt to me. Ah well. Gold will look good on Shibs :)
Jon Moxley vs. Konosuke Takeshita (4/5 hype)
Give my DDT ace a NJPW title shot Or Else <3
"Timeless" Toni Storm vs. Serena Deeb (1/5 hype)
Sorry to Toni who I like, but man, Deeb just rubs me the wrong way on vibes. I didn't really like her feud with Shida. This match just feels so perfunctory, especially after Toni beating Rosa. I don't want to see Deeb belted, and I've seen enough "Timeless" Toni Storm matches (which are fun!) to skip this one for Deeb's bad vibes.
Willow Nightingale vs. Mercedes Mone (4/5 hype)
I KNOW Mercedes is going over and I wouldn't be mad about it (she's amazing!!) but honest to god Willow deserves a longer, fuller run and it sucks that she's going to be a transitional champ. Sigh. At least it's on a PPV as a main event.
The Elite vs. "Team AEW" (5/5 Hype)
Anarchy in the arena matches are always soooooo fun. I actually don't care who wins this but I think it would be funny to make the Bucks eat shit. I am so ready to see Okada do a chaos deathmatch. I am excited to see Jack Perry on fire. This match will probably be the show-stealer for me, AEW is sooooo good at delivering these.
Swerve Strickland vs. Christian Cage (5/5 hype)
Swerve, c'mon. They're both gonna crush it though :3 I've loved the build for this face off. Should be a killer way to cap the night!
Enjoy, and happy PPV everyone!

Thoughts on AEW: All In 2024
Just my thoughts on the show, as well as the Zero Hour preceding it. Obviously, there will be spoilers.
ZERO HOUR
16-Man Tag Match: Tommy Billington, Kip Sabian, Rocky Romero, Kyle Fletcher, Lio Rush, Action Andretti, and Top Flight (Darius Martin and Dante Martin) vs Jay Lethal, Satnam Singh, Anthony Ogogo, Ariya Daivari, Private Party (Isiah Kassidy and Marq Quen), and The Dark Order (John Silver and Alex Reynolds)
I'll be completely honest, I forgot this match even happened.
Tony seems to like to do these random-ass, giant, multi-man matches during the pre-shows.
I assume this is probably just so these guys could get a PPV pay day or something.
Absolutely one of the matches on the show.
Mixed Tag Match: Willow Nightingale and Tomohiro Ishii vs Kris Statlander and Stokley Hathaway
I love Willow. She's one of my favorites.
I'm still not over Statlander betraying Willow.
I have been loving Ishii just hanging around AEW having random matches
LMAO Stokely slammed Ishii.
Legitimately fun match. Willow and Ishii work well together, despite Ishii being just some kind of man-shaped refrigerator with no neck
10-Man Tag Match: The Von Erichs (Marshall Von Erich and Ross Von Erich), Sammy Guevara, Katsuyori Shibata, and Dustin Rhodes vs Undisputed Kingdom (Matt Taven and Mike Bennett) and Cage of Agony (Bishop Kaun, Brian Cage, and Toa Liona)
lmao Sammy and Brian Cage both have Wolverine-themed gear. This feels like those scenes in shows where two girls show up to the same party wearing the same dress.
I am always a fan of Shibata wrestling on my television or other device.
Bishop Kaun and Toa Liona are so fucking cool.
I love that Dustin is walking around with two belts. And that he's still able to go as good as he does.
This was a fun match.
Interlude
Saraya and Harley Cameron are genuinely entertaining as heels. Nobody can harass the cameraman quite like Saraya.
I do not want to keep hearing Ronnie Radke. Please stop.
It's cool that they've brought Saraya's whole family back this year.
HOLY FUCKING SHIT JAMIE HAYTER IS BACK. LET'S FUCKING GO DUDE.
HELL YEAH. FUCK YEAH.
I missed Jamie a bit.
ALL IN
Four-Way Ladder Match, AEW Trios Championship: The Patriarchy (c) (Christian Cage, Nick Wayne, Killswitch) vs Bang Bang Gang (Juice Robinson, Austin Gunn, Colten Gunn) vs House of Black (Malakai Black, Brodie King, Buddy Matthews) vs PAC and Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta
Presumably PAC/Claudio/Wheeler was actually going to be Death Triangle originally. But with Penta and Fenix on their way out, they probably had to change that.
They actually did everyone's entrance during Zero Hour, which I thought was really cool.
This match was absolutely ridiculous.
Christian Cage ran to the back, like, immediately lmao
And then showed back up to try to climb a ladder.
HoB continues to be very, very cool and very scary.
Juice Robinson is still my favorite wrestling goblin.
KILLSWITCH HELD CHRISTIAN BACK FROM GETTING THE BELTS??
PAC, Claudio, and Yuta?? The PACPool Combat Club?? They're the winners?
I had fun. Everyone in this is great and genuinely entertaining.
AEW Women's Championship: "Timeless" Toni Storm (c) vs "The Glamour" Mariah May
This is still one of the messiest break-ups I've ever seen in wrestling.
Genuinely great match.
Mariah's sadistic bisexual gimmick is fantastic.
I assumed there'd be blood, because there was white clothing. I'm glad my assumption was validated. This match benefited greatly from bleeding. It added a lot to the, well, blood feud.
Toni not only lost the belt, but she lost to her own finishing move. The sheer disrespect done by Mariah was a thing of beauty.
I can't wait to see Mariah's reign.
I can't wait to see what Toni does next.
FTW Championship: "The Learning Tree" Chris Jericho (c) vs Hook
The Learning Tree is such a goofy gimmick.
If I wasn't just tired of Jericho, I'd probably enjoy this more.
Why is Hook wearing kinesio tape over his eye? Does he not know about eye patches?
I'm genuinely so glad that they both managed to avoid hitting any of those cricket balls when doing suplexes, etc.
HOLY SHIT TAZ PUT THE TAZMISSION ON BRYAN KEITH.
HOOK GOT THE BELT BACK.
I love seeing Taz trying to hold back being a Proud Dad during Hook's matches.
Three-Way Tag Team Match, AEW World Tag Team Championship: The Young Bucks (c) (Matthew and Nicholas Jackson) vs FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) vs The Acclaimed (Max Caster and Anthony Bowens)
I don't know who I want to win, but it's none of these teams.
Max being an obnoxious edgelord on the internet and in his raps has really soured me on The Acclaimed, which sucks, because they're both good.
This was a genuinely fun match.
As much as I'm kind of tired of FTR vs Bucks, and The Acclaimed, all six of these dudes are still really good and kept me invested in the match.
Not really surprised that the Bucks won.
Oh shit, Grizzled Young Veterans?? I've heard great things about them. I wonder if they're going to be the ones to take the belts off of the Bucks.
Casino Gauntlet Battle Royale:
Started off with Orange Cassidy vs Okada.
Okada's comedic shithole heel role has been fantastic and was put to great use here
OH SHIT WHAT THE FUCK NIGEL MCGUINESS IS IN THIS???
Nigel clearly is returning to action so he can personally retire Danielson himself
OH SHIT IT'S HANGMAD. AND JARRETT.
AND WHAT THE FUCK ITS RICOCHET. I knew he was signed, but it's still awesome to see him.
lmao Christian limping to the ring.
Killswitch is back to being Luchasaurus??
THAT FUCKING DINOSAUR JUST GAVE CHRISTIAN THE WIN LMFAO. What the hell is going on here. Where are they even going with this.
I still enjoyed it. I like the random times, and that it can effectively end at any time.
AEW International AMERICAN Championship: MJF (c) vs Will Ospreay
Find someone who loves you as much Will loves Assassin's Creed.
Max's USA gimmick has been the single most obnoxious thing in AEW for a bit, but I love it.
Ospreay is so fucking good, dude. MJF is so fucking good. These dudes are so good, dude.
OH SHIT DANIEL GARCIA IS BACK. Fuck yeah! I love Danny, and he's looking all serious.
WILL OSPREAY WINS BRUV.
AND THE CHAMPIONSHIP IS BACK TO THE INTERNATIONAL TITLE BRUV
Solid as hell match, Bruv/10.
AEW TBS Championship: Mercedes Moné (c) vs Dr. Britt Baker, DMD.
This match is a death spot, Christ.
Considering she had some serious back problems, and a mini-stroke, and has been out of action for 10 months, I'm genuinely glad to see Baker back.
Mercedes is such an obnoxious heel, I love it.
C O R G I S
Both Britt and Mercedes with the Eddie callbacks
Britt looking right into the camera to smile with Kamille gets ejected was beautiful stuff.
I am begging Mercedes to get a better finisher.
I don't know if it was ring rust, or a lack of real chemistry with the two, but this was not the best match.
I enjoyed it, but it was still definitely one of the matches of all time.
As I'm writing this some time after the event, I also want to say that I am so fucking sick of the discourse about this match being either "Mercedes is the worst wrestler ever' or "Britt is the worst wrestler ever'. This shit has nuance for fuck's sake.
Coffin Match, AEW TNT Championship: Jack Perry (c) vs Darby Allin
Jack's custom belt looks so cool. I can't believe the dude, like, forged that shit himself.
Darby fucking glued thumbtacks to his goddamn face.
Nobody dies like Darby.
This shit is brutal.
Jack has a fucking bag of glass lmao
THE "CRY ME A RIVER" CHANTS LMAOOO
Turns out the way to beat Darby in a coffin match is to bind him, put him in a body bag, and put the bag in the coffin.
The Bucks (with a freshly-shaved Nicholas) show up with gasoline to burn Darby and the casket.
IT'S STIIIIIIIIIIIIIIING
I've said it before, find someone who loves you as much as Tony Schiavone loves Sting
Title vs Career, AEW World Championship: Swerve Strickland (c) vs Bryan Danielson
Of course you give Danielson this fantastic video package about his career.
Of course you give Danielson "The Final Countdown" for his entrance.
Swerve Strickland continues to be the coolest motherfucker alive in pro wrestling today.
Swerve is working this match like he's actually trying to kill Danielson. It's beautiful.
Beating Danielson up in front of his children is monstrous. I love it.
Swerve took a busaiku knee and brushed his fucking shoulder off.
I love how Bryan does an Injury spot in every fucking match, and I know it's A Thing, but every goddamn time there's part of me that's like "Oh shit" because he's that fucking convincing.
IT'S HANGMAD AGAIN.
Oh shit, Bryan is getting the comeback.
Bryan absorbing kicks while fucking staring at his family and saying "I love you" was fucking glorious.
SWERVE TAPPED. BRYAN IS THE FUCKING AEW CHAMPION.
If this had been his retirement match, it would have been an absolutely perfect send-off for the man. Dude got the absolute shit kicked out of him.
I didn't even really want Danielson to win, but I was still, like, rooting for him toward the end there.
Like seriously, Bryan Danielson is one of the greatest pro wrestlers of all time. The dude is amazing.
I am still genuinely surprised that Tony somehow talked Danielson into winning the belt, though.

SINCE IM HERE i wann agive my raw quick match ratings/thoughts!!!
willow / ishii vs kris / stoke: so fun!! i wish we had more intergender fighting , but tony is coward so... 💫💫.5
latter match: LOVE.. i love the wackiness of latter matches, i loveed loved loved lucha in it i love how much they're dragging out the eventual moment lucha eats christiAN. i also liked that pac, yuta, and claudio won, very different and fun! 💫💫💫💫
gauntlet match: this was pretty fun too! was hoping jay white would show up but ALAS... i was really into christian running in for another chance at a belt because he CANNOT be beltless. it was awesome.. i love him.. AND LUCHA....AUGH...i kno there was some disappointment that hangman didn't win but i also think there's this shared idea that hangman is the main character of the show and deserves everything.. like no he dont! he's MEAN! and there's a story being told with him obviously, it wasnt this one. 💫💫
tony vs mariah: this shit was SO GOOD, i dont know why it was SO early in the show tho? they def should have switched slots with the tbs match...anyways it was pretty emotional , the way it PAINED toni to fight mariah.. she still loves her despite it all, and mariah feels nothing.. YES! 💫💫💫💫
jericho vs hook: why do we keep letting jericho have matches in the main show? why don't we zero hour this bitch and eliminate him once and for ALL...? dont get me started on hook.. he's just not good, he has NO juice. there's no reason to want him to win his belt besides the fact that his dad created it. and if its so important to uphold the family legacy then why not.. like make it important? why not have taz be like ' im gonna disown you if you lose this belt again' or something? there's NO stakes and hook suplexes like he's gonna leap out of the ring bc he has NO CONTROL CAUSE HE'S FUCKING 2 PPOUNDS BUT FIGHTS LIKE HE's JUICED. i DID like him throwing the cricket balls tho, that was really funNY. 💫.5
bucks vs ftw vs acclaimed: daddy ass looked SO CUUUTEE ^_^! (NO STARS)
mjf vs ospreay: 90% of this match felt like we were in the middle of a commercial break... why were they on the ground so much. why where they SO WINDED.. very boring, ospreay's ADVERTISEMENT entrance STUNK as well. this whole feud just could have not happened and i think things would have been fine....see in the jericho and hook match i can at least name a moment i thought was fun .. not so much this match, just a whole DUD..glad we got to see danny again tho, i know he WILL SLAY. 💫
britt vs mercedes: i anticipated this one the most cause i wanted to see if mercedes could carry britt to a decent match.. but it seems when you're working with someone as limp as THE DENTIST , it's just impossible. i feel bad for mercedes because she deserves better than to have the DMD thrown onto her lap like that. im glad she retained but i dont think these two will have another feud for a while...TO THE PERFORMANCE CENTER BRITTANY!! 💫 ( all stars are for merecedes)
jack vs darby: UGHH i wanted to love this one but it was just too short! this felt like being edged and then just getting over with the rest.. everything that happened was fun and good but it all just hAPPENED AND THEN ENDED. i dont like darby at all, but it didnt make darby look too good. he wasnt the challenge that he made himself out to be.. i dont blame either men because i truly think they were just rushed for time , because that's what it felt like. i am glad jack retained tho, he deserves it! i rthink the moment where the crowd starts doing his lil emote with him over the pile of glass was beautiful. a nice contrast to where he was last year at this time! im looking forward to who challenges him next, and i hope we see him more on tv now. >_> 💫💫
swerve vs brian: AUGH......SO GOOOD... swerve looked very pretty tonight, i loved his hair cuffs! bryan as always, just knows how to play a crowd he's a sicko that lives off upsetting people and i think thts really great :-)!! im glad bryan won, but i cant help but feel so sad when seeing swerve on the ground like that.. i wish swerve could have retained but i think thats what makes the match really good. you pick someone to root for and you can root for either of them honestly, both are great.. im glad it was bryan he lost the belt to than hangman honestLY...deducting points for no shaka khan tho... 💫💫💫💫

my match rankings for all in
1. Bryan Danielson vs. Swerve Strickland - i mean yeah
2. Will Ospreay vs. MJF - took a minute to get into it but this was for sure an improvement on the dynamite match, plus i screamed when danny showed up
3. Mariah May vs. Toni Storm - wish it was a little longer but there was not a wasted moment in this match, appropriate for a blood feud but i feel like we're getting a couple more matches from here
4. Casino Gauntlet - the best one yet, every entrant was exciting, could've went a little longer
5. Trios Title Ladder Match - pitch perfect spotfest, so much personality with all the teams, shame we couldn't get Death Triangle getting their moment but Bastard Combat Club is a fun team
6. Darby Allin vs. Jack Perry - exactly what i expected. some fucked up bumps, jack acting like an asshole, what else could you possibly need
7. Britt Baker vs. Mercedes Mone - this was Mercedes' worst match yet in AEW but it was also Britt's best since she returned. not bad at all but it had to follow Ospreay/MJF
8. Stokely & Kris vs. Ishii & Willow - 90% was just Kris vs Willow but that was to be expected, wish aew wasn't so scared of doing intergender stuff cause Willow should've murdered Stoke and Kris should've had a fair exchange with Ishii
9. FTR vs. The Young Bucks vs. The Acclaimed - what everrrrrrrr
10. Team Kingdom vs. Team Texas - i don't particularly care about anyone in this match but it was better put together than the other preshow schmozz
11. Team Dark Order vs. Team Top Flight - fun spots but really disorganized, would've been better as a 4 way tag with Top Flight, Private Party, Tommy & Kip, and Dark Order
12. Chris Jericho vs. Hook - this being on the card instead of an Okada match is a damn crime

DYNAMITE 1/11/23
DAMMIT, MAX!
Firstly, we need to address something here, and its Matt Taven’s wonderful giraffe hoodie. Maybe down the line, Taven, can use a kick, and call it the giraffe kick. Then we can get a Giraffe kick vs. Kangaroo kick match. These aren’t just beautiful fingers typing these words you know.
The big question of the night was, who will MJF choose as his tag team partners?
We had a surprise appearance from Adam Cole via virtual call. He thinks Max should pick Samoa Joe as his partner, but Max is fond of this idea. The Man in the Devil Mask would interrupt the broadcast as his presence was looming over the show. Since the attack on Jay White, has this masked individual done anything else besides pop up on our screens? He needs to do something a lot more threatening.
Orange Cassidy defended his International Title against Claudio Castagnoli in a great opening match. Claudio showed off his impressive strength throughout. At one point he put Orange into a chokehold and swung him around. Orange won with a beautiful hurricanrana. The celebration was short lived as Jon Moxley returned to give Cassidy a beating. This sets up Orange Cassidy vs. Jon Moxley at Full Gear, and it also looks like a feud between with Wheeler Yuta and Hook is starting.
The ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championship’s were on the line as The Young Bucks/Adam Page defended against The Mogul Embassy. I really didn’t care for this match. I’ve said it before, the ROH titles should stay on Ring of Honor. I mean, I can’t even tell you who the other wrestlers were outside of Brian Cage. To my surprise, my prayers were answered. The belts are off the Bucks and Page, and the belts can return to the show where belong on. Page chased after Swerve Strickland as the two will meet at Full Gear. Matt was very upset after the loss and took it out on inanimate object's. Later on, The Bucks would take out their frustrations on Kenny Omega as they were not afraid to remind Omega of Jericho's past. Kenny as some work to do to get his friends and Jericho on the same page.
Daddy Magic/Cool Ange fought Jericho/Omega later on. Callis was on commentary with his family beh-WAIT, is that Kyle Flecher? Did I miss something? I thought Don kicked him out of the faction. Anyway, this match was short, so we could get to the meat of the story. In two weeks, it will be Kyle/Hobbs/Takeshita, taking on Jericho/Omega and…Paul Wright, in a Street Fight. I joked that it would be Wright last week, but I think he will work well in a Street Fight. I know some people will take issue with him being used, but I like when Paul is used like a beast.
Adam Copeland finally speared Christian Cage, after his former friend promised to snap his neck and leave him in a wheelchair for the rest of his life. I still think Adam will come out of Full Gear as a heel, even though I didn’t expect him to lay his hands on Christian tonight.
Tony Khan makes rare appearance on TV to make another big announcement. It feels like these announcements are a bit excessive at this point. The reveal here is that AEW will be returning to the UK at Wembley Stadium next year. I didn’t get a chance this year to go , so I might just buy a ticket come December 1st.
Hikaru Shida defended her title in very good bout against Willow Nightingale. As I wrote previously, Shida had poor matches last week, and I’m glad to see her back on form. Julia Hart appeared post match to lure Willow, but Skye Blue came out and turned full heel, but it's a trick! She is actually a babyface. She misted Julia with the blue mist. Unfortunately she missed her face and her neck.
After some backstage segments, it's revealed that The Acclaimed will be MJF's partners against The Golden Elite. MJF wore Acclaimed inspired gear decked out with a pink burberry scarf. The match was about MJF getting his hands on White and getting his belt back, while Max Caster wanted to scissor MJF. I thought at this point, MJF would get his belt back, but lost when he was pinned by White. Post match, Caster took a title shot to the head from White as he pushed MJF out of the way. This led to a reluctant Maxwell scissoring The Acclaimed.
The show set up a few matches for Full Gear. Outside of that, you got the payoff with MJF teaming with The Acclaimed. I was expecting a bit more from this show, but I'll see where some of the stories end up before diving into any real major criticism.

roderick strong vs. will ospreay - no notes. rest in peace roderick strong. toni storm vs. serena deeb - serena deeb will pay for her crimes on ppv !!! i still can't get over how shes a great wrestler but shes so fucking irritating its not even funny ?? toni please beat her ass for ME !! the elite vs. team aew - okay this is a tricky prediction because What !! given the feud kinda just started its unpredictable to me but. yknow !! the elite aren't really heels theyre just guys. with money.. okay so evil. anyways. want the team aew win because i wanna see darby and bryan celebrate together ftr can jerk off backstage idgaf WILLOW MUTHAFUCKIN NIGHTINGALE vs. MERCEDES MUTHAFUCKIN MONÉ - another tricky one !!! mercedes deserves her debut win but willow is THEEEEE face of tbs. i just wouldn't go on twitter after this match cuz. phew !! okay !! if mercedes loses this match, a DEBUT match nonetheless, aew will never hear the end of it. i feel like it'll be a time limit situation .. i'm hoping to preserve my mental state
swerve strickland vs. christian cage - i am SOOO fucking hyped for this match okay i might be biased but at least i'm biased about the right thing !!! he's going to kill that old man rest in peace (again) christian cage. xoxo. no more notes

Tonight is the night!!! God the card for dynasty is so fucking stacked literally the only one I’m like eww no is Jericho and even then I’d be fine if he was on zero hour but whatever. Anyway time for me to make my winner predictions of who I want vs what I think is booked to win
Zero hour
Let’s start with Trent vs Matt sydal: I’d love to see Trent lose because I’m a Yuta girl and Trent should always lose lol. But more than likely especially cause of the best friend breakup storyline Trent would need the win far more and it would make sense for him to win over Matt who involved himself in the feud and helped orange.
Orange and shibata Vs Shane taylor promotions: it’s orange and shibata even if Anthony cheats and gets involved I can’t see orange and shibata losing ohhh unless Trent’s match actually does go first and he causes orange to lose… seems like a lot for a buy in though
The acclaimed vs bullet club gold: THIS SHOULD BE ON THE MAIN CARD!!! How tf is the unification of the two actual company belts not be put on the main card the actual FUCK!!! Tk I hope your pillow is never cool. I want BCG to win they’re fun, they’re entertaining, they’ll be insufferable as double champs, they will have a feud with anyone. Thanks to the win on dynamite though I think it’s gonna be the acclaimed who will be booked to win and make all the belts useless because they’re never on tv they have zero feuds going on and caster will continue to be a cunt online.
Main card time
Jericho vs hook: this should be on the pre show the ftw belt is not legitimate and there’s been no real build for this they didn’t even have beef until Wednesday. Anyway I wanna see Hook win cause Jericho needs to go far away but I feel like Jericho booked himself to win to hold the ftw belt and will probably have a run in from Sammy.
Rated R chicken Kings vs house of black: I have no idea if that’s their name they have no name and I love them for it lol Eddie and mark should never suffer losses ever actually. Plus it’s a team of champions sorry HOB
Julia vs willow: I think with the storyline and Mercedes and Julia’s injuries we’re getting a title change. Julia wasn’t a bad champ at all and honestly made the tbs title a big deal it just sucks she got injured and couldn’t be on tv every week fighting. Willow will be a great champion and Julia can still be spooky and get involved.
Okada va pac: okada stole Eddie’s belt no one should beat him but Eddie in my humble simp opinion.
The young bucks vs ftr: if the fucking bucks lose again I will be cursing tk to lose all the hair on his head and grow it out of his nose and asshole. The bucks shoulda NEVER loss at Wembley and they need their win back. Especially after seeing the video nope evps win hire me as the ref I’ll make sure to count correctly
Kyle vs rodrick: I know with the whole never able to pivot and the Adam and mjf injury thing we haven’t been able to do the Undisputed Kingdom storyline like everyone wanted but let it GO! Give Kyle his win give Kyle the belt give Kyle the fucking WORLD okay my beautiful sad eyed air guitar boo boo kitty man gets it all.
Toni storm vs thunder Rosa: the way I need Toni to go berserk on Rosa but also for deonna to get involved in a if I can’t beat her I’ll be damned you will story beat. Personally the only person who should dethrone Toni is Mariah and she’s not ready yet.
Will Vs Bryan: is it too early to call this match of the night i mean we all know that it’s gonna be right? Personally I’d love to see Bryan take the win prove he’s still the best (make zacks win that much more legitimate) and piss off don that his golden goose lost (3 days before his other teams loss when mox spanks Hobbs) and drive more a wedge between don and will forcing Kyle to make a choice (not my brain jumping right back to cakeys will Claudio Kyle fic high key rec)But this is tk and wills first PPV as a full time aew worker it’s probably gonna be him
Samoa Joe Vs Swerve Strickland: OUR FIRST EVER BLACK AEW MENS WORLD CHAMPION!!!!!!

AEW Dynasty 2024 Predictions
Here are my last-minute AEW Dynasty predictions:
Overall:
It will be an excellent ppv – AEW rarely disappoints on this.
Pre-Show:
AEW/ROH Trios Championship Title Unification: The Acclaimed Vs the Bang Bang Gang (Bullet Club Gold)
I think the Acclaimed will win but I’m rooting for the Bang Bang Gang.
Trent Beretta Vs Matt Sydal: Trent wins. It wouldn’t make sense to have Trent lose while building the feud with Orange Cassidy. The real question is if Chuck Taylor will be ringside for either Trent or OC’s matches.
Orange Cassidy / Shibata Vs. Shane Taylor / Lee Moriarty: OC and Shibata win unless interference from his former Best Friends cost them the match.
The Show:
Bryan Danielson vs Will Ospreay: Tough call. Bryan has repeatedly put over younger talent so an Ospreay victory seems certain. However, they are clearly building a Blackpool Combat Club vs Don Callis Family feud, which will result in Ospreay leaving the Callis family. Hard call but I’m leaning towards an Ospreay victory due to shenanigans by Don Callis. I expect (hope)for appearances by the BCC and the Callis family. I doubt Khan has Moxley in the building and he doesn’t make an appearance for the entire pay-per-view. And I gave AEW the $50 so can I please have Claudio on the show?
Julia Hart vs Willow Nightingale for the TBS Championship: Willow wins. Julia is injured and Willow’s victory will further her story win Mercedes Mone. The only question is if Mercedes makes an appearance.
Samoa Joe vs Swerve Strickland for the AEW World Championship: I love Samoa Joe but whose house? Swerve’s house!
Toni Storm vs Thunder Rosa for the AEW World Women’s Championship: Toni all the way.
Adam Copeland/Eddie Kingston/Mark Briscoe vs the House of Black: Hard call. I’m going with the House of Black because they need some wins.
Okada vs PAC for the Continental Championship: I love both men but Okada wins. It’s simply too early for him to suffer a defeat.
The Young Bucks vs FTR for the AEW World Tag Team Championships: The Bucks take the win with the assist of a returning Jack Perry.
Roderick Strong vs Kyle O’Reily for the International Championship: It seems too soon for Roderick to lose the title but they’ve been building Kyle so a defeat would be odd so…Kyle?
Hook vs Chris Jericho for the FTW Championship: Unfortunately, it seems like this feud will continue after Dynasty so a Jericho win seems likely.
Final Thoughts:
AEW’s roster is insanely stacked. Even if you subtract the wrestlers on the injured list (Kenny Omega, Adam Cole, MJF, Britt Baker, Jaime Hayter, etc) you still have notable wrestlers (Claudio Castagnolli, Jon Moxley, Adam Page, Kris Statlander, Mariah May, etc) without an advertised match/role on the card. Crazy!
Enjoy the pay per view!

AEW Dynamite 3/20/24
Mercedes comes out first! She talks about how her career almost ended with an injury ten months ago, but she says she had to come back. She says she isn't here to lead a women's evolution. She's done that before. She's here to lead a global women's revolution. She calls out Julia and Skye and says they shouldn't get in her business with Willow. Julia and Skye come out to attack Mercedes, but Willow and Statlander make the save.
Marvez interviews the Bucks and Okada. He calls Okada by his full name. But the Bucks tell Marvez that he needs to show more respect by speaking to Okada in his native tongue. Matt talks about how handsome and charismatic Okada is. The Bucks say they will be the personal producers for Okada's match tonight. Okada addresses Eddie in Japanese. Where are the subtitles so we can hear this man's promo?? He says he is coming for Eddie's title!!!!!
Eddie Kingston (c) vs. Kazuchika Okada for the AEW Continental Championship -- Eddie chops Okada until his chest is red! Okada runs away to the outside, and suckers Eddie in for a DDT on the floor!! Nice! Okada lands a neckbreaker and covers Eddie standing up with one foot for a one count. Love it. Okada with a nice sliding dropkick, then two vicious back elbows, then a running back elbow in the corner! Eddie lands some chops, a belly to belly suplex, a back heel trip, a German suplex, and a sliding elbow for two! Okada lands a neckbreaker on the knee for two!! Okada goes for an elbow off the top, but Eddie avoids it and lands the backfist for two! Eddie lands some chops and blocks a lariat attempt. Okada takes his thumbs to Eddie's eyes, ducks a backfist attempt by Eddie. Okada lands a Tombstone that looks more like a bodyslam, then a Rainmaker for three!!!!!
Nice!!!!!!!!! Very good match here with Okada looking great. I am so stoked for new champ Okada!!!! Rating: 3.5
Pac comes out after the match to stare at Okada from the ramp. HELL YEAH BROTHER!!!!!!!!! HYPED OUT OF MY MIND FOR OKADA VS. PAC!!!! CANNOT WAIT!!!!
Renee with Swerve. She asks what his intention was with Joe and the chain last week. Swerve says the intention is the same as always, the AEW World Championship. Joe attempted to embarrass him by choking him out a few weeks ago, but unfortunately for Joe, Swerve has a history of choking people out as well. He gestures to the chain. He says he feels like sparring and puts out an open challenge.
Statlander and Willow with Renee. They say their feud with Hart and Blue ends tonight. Mercedes arrives. Stat thanks her for having Willow's back. Mercedes says of course, that's what a CEO does. Willow starts to talk. Mercedes cuts her off and says she has done enough. Nice.
Hook vs. Chris Jericho -- Hook comes out of the gate with a nasty belly to back suplex, dropping Jericho on his head! The ref checks on Jericho. Jericho comes back with some elbows and chops, but Hook turns it back around with a series of German suplexes! German after German after German! Like 8 or 10 of them! Jericho finally blocks the German and reverses into a Walls attempt, but Hook stops him from locking it in. Jericho comes off the top, but Hook catches him with a Northern Lights suplex and a lariat!! Nice!! Jericho lands a boot and a lionsault for two. Jericho just throws Hook, and he lands on his face. Damn. Jericho lands a boot, then strikes in the corner, standing on second rope. Hook finally blocks and locks in Redrum! Jericho escapes with elbows and goes for the Walls, but Hook escapes with elbows of his own, then catches Jericho in an inside cradle for three!
This was okay. Some good offense from Hook, but a lot of awkward-looking stuff here as well, which should probably be attributed to Jericho. This is Hook's first pinfall victory in AEW. Jericho shows respect to Hook after the match. Rating: 2
Cole video promo. He says Wardlow disappointed him last week by losing to Joe. He says Wardlow's new goal is to make sure Taven and Bennett keep the ROH tag championship and Roddy keeps his AEW International Championship, and maybe then they will forgive him. Cole says this because he cares about Wardlow and wants him to reach his true potential. He tells Wardlow not to screw it up.
Renee with Jericho. Jericho says Hook has his respect after tonight. Hook is a future world champion. And Jericho has a proposition for Hook next week.
Schiavone in the ring with Ospreay. Ospreay says he was a naughty boy the last time he was in Toronto when he faced Omega at Forbidden Door. He apologizes for "what he done last time." He says he is here to bring the people of Canada elite wrestling, but in return, he needs some of that maple syrup. Lmao wtf. He says he is here for the betterment of AEW. Ospreay comments on how great Danielson vs. Shibata on Collision last week was. Ospreay says in one breath, Danielson said he is grateful to step in the ring with Ospreay, but in the next, Danielson said Ospreay couldn't walk in his shoes. Ospreay says he has seen Danielson's shoes and he could never fit in them, because they are too small for him. What Bryan did in Japan was good, but what Ospreay did in Japan was elevate pro wrestling. He mentions all the championships he held there. He says he can walk in Danielson's shoes. Want him to prove it? He calls out Shibata. He says the last time they wrestled each other, Shibata beat the piss out of him, and asks if Shibata wants to know the difference in a 23-year-old kid and 30-year-old with a family and a point to prove. He tells Shibata to meet him in the ring next week and tells Danielson to sit at home and watch. Another good promo from Ospreay. Can't believe it. He is on a roll.
Toni Storm and Mariah May vs. Thunder Rosa and Deonna Purrazzo -- Purrazzo with some nice armbar attempts, but she can't get it locked in on Mariah. Purrazzo hits Mariah with a huge boot. Rosa tags herself in and lands a DVD on Mariah. Storm tags in. Storm with a nice German suplex and hip attack on Rosa. Storm goes for Storm Zero, but Rosa reverses and catches Storm with a jacknife for three. Solid action here, but super short. Rating: 2.25
Swerve Strickland vs. The Butcher -- Swerve starts with a headbutt out of nowhere! Butcher with a backbreaker on the knee. Swerve lands a double stomp to the back of the neck!!! House Call kick!!! Double stomp off the top!! Then Swerve locks in an arm bar variation for the submission!! Rating: SQUASH
Swerve with a mic after the match. He says he respected and liked Joe before he met him. But now he is close to hating Joe. Every day, he thinks about wrapping that chain around Joe's neck, hanging him from the ring post, and squeezing. He will take out any security Joe sends until Joe gives him what he wants. Good stuff!!!!
Joe comes out!! He says he beat Swerve at Revolution and he shoved him back down the championship ladder. He says Swerve still believes the impossible is possible, that if he stands toe to toe with Joe, he can box with a god. The problem with that belief is that it becomes infectious, and these people start to believe that maybe they can be great and be a champion too. And that is fine and sweet until someone like Joe shows up, smashes you in the face, and takes everything that you have. Joe knows what to do with someone like Swerve and that is give him exactly what he wants. NICE!!!! GO AHEAD, JOE!!! Joe heads for the ring!!!!
Don Callis comes out to interrupt and is greeted by the loudest and most sustained chorus of boos I have ever heard. Taz: "This is his home country, and they hate his guts." Callis says Swerve and Takeshita have the same amount of wins, but Takeshita is undefeated outside of the Don Callis Family, and Takeshita needs to show Swerve what it tastes like to lose to the Family. This is not Swerve's house. It is the Don Callis Family's house.
Swerve says if he had more time and wasn't distracted with what he has going on, he would burn the Callis Family tree down to a crisp, but he will take on Takeshita.
Christian Cage (c) vs. Adam Copeland for the TNT Championship -- Copeland lands something of neckbreaker, driving Christian back-first onto a ladder he set up between the announce table and the barricade outside. Copeland sets up a ladder upside down and drives Christian ribs-first into the hinges with an inverted suplex!!! Copeland props up a table on the barricade outsidr and goes for a spear, but Christian leapfrogs him and throws him into the ring post. Copeland is bleeding from the head! Christian lands a frog splash off the top through a table on the outside! Christian sets up a ladder on the ropes in the corner and catapults Copeland face-first into the ladder. Christian misses a splash, and Copeland locks in a crossface with the arm trapped, but Christian gouges the eyes to escape! Both go for spears at the same time and both go down! Christian tries to leave, but Copeland follows after him, and catapults Christian off the stage!
Mother Wayne comes out and low blows Copeland with a hockey stick! Christian cracks the hockey stick over Copeland's back! Christian drives the hockey stick into Copeland's throat in the ring!! The ref asks, but Copeland doesn't quit. Christian goes for Conchairto with a barbed wire-covered chair, but Copeland avoids it. Copeland swings with a chair, but Christian moves. Christian goes for Killswitch onto a chair, but Copeland blocks it. Copeland locks in a kind of crossface hold with the hockey stick in Christian's mouth, then chokes Christian with the drawstring from his trunks!! Luchasaurus and Nick make the save and break the hold! Garcia and Menard come out to even the odds! They handcuff Nick and Luchasaurus to the corner turnbuckles, then ping pong Christian back and forth with strikes, then Copeland lands a nice spear on Christian!! They handcuff Christian to the other corner, and Copeland lands repeated low blows to Christian!!! Over and over and over kicks to the balls! The ref asks, but Christian doesn't quit! Copeland gets out the spike he made and spikes Christian in the balls!!!! Christian still refuses to quit!!! But Copeland threatens to do it again, and Christian quits!!!!
This was a really well-constructed match. All the weapon spots were good, the outside interference was well done, and the finish kinda rocked. Nice. Rating: 3.75

double or nothing predictions
i am. completely utterly uncertain about so much of this. these will be my worst predictions yet mark my words. also these aren’t (for the most part) the ones i WANT to win, just who i think WILL win. idk. i’ve been so bad with predictions lately
BUY IN the hardy’s & hook vs the gunns & ethan page - the hardy’s & hook take this because. obviously they do. this is a no brainer
House of Black vs TBA - House of Black. whoever it ends up being, it’s gotta be hob. they only just started the house rules stuff and there’s so much they can do with it.
blackjack battle royale - come on man there are 21 of them… the chances of choosing the right guy are so low… i would say ricky, but i think ricky will get taken out by jay and juice. jay and juice won’t win because they’re in a thing with ricky and therefore won’t have time for a new title. swerve, cage, keith, and dustin will take each other out. neither of the lucha bros need this win. honestly? it feels like either orange retains or kip sabían wins. im lukewarm on kip but he’s got nothing else going on right now, and he’s kept up his issues with orange on twitter and stuff. plus he has butcher and the blade on his team to keep best friends off his back. but honestly, this whole match feels like a toss up. and i don’t want orange to lose his title tonight, because losing it in a battle royale is stupid lol
adam cole vs chris jericho - again, a toss up for me. i’m not confident about a lot of this. it’s hard to imagine them making cole lose his first feud back, but also, it’s chris jericho. we all know what usually happens when we pray that jericho loses lol. no idea, could go either way. but just because I don’t know, i’ll say cole because that’s who i WANT to win.
jade cargill vs taya valkyrie - this is the first time i’ve ever thought someone might beat jade. they’ve built taya up super quickly as someone who is, for the first time, a genuine threat. jade just hit her milestones. but it also feels so odd to just have taya come in all of a sudden and win the title??? idk. originally i had taya down for this but i’m changing it to jade.
ftr vs jay lethal & jeff jarrett - ftr. if ftr doesn’t win i’m putting my hand into my garbage disposal. if i have to see lethal and jarrett walk around with titles in this company i’m gonna lose my fucking mind i would rather die
jamie hayter vs toni storm - i heard hayter is actually injured. so. i’m going storm. just so jamie can heal. which really sucks because i really enjoy jamie as champ, i think she really deserves it.
the elite vs blackpool combat club anarchy in the arena - honestly as hard as it is to say, i’m going elite just because. it’s their first match back together. bcc is the team that makes the most sense to win, but from a writing standpoint, the elite are finally back together and they should be stronger again now that they’re a unit. but i can see it going to bcc obviously as well!!
wardlow vs christian cage - christian cage just because. luchasaurus intervening seems very likely. and wardlow’s tnt champ reigns have been. shaky and quick.
mjf vs jungle boy vs darby allin vs sammy guevara - mjf. come on. any other option is ridiculous lol

AEW All In '24
Just for fun!
I have never watched a full AEW show since it's inception. They've been around for 5 years and they came in way after I stopped watching pro-wrestling on the regular.
The rise of Bullet Club/NJPW in 2015 was something I also missed out on. NJPW and the popularity of American indie wrestling led to the formation of AEW in 2019.
I read about AEW, listen to podcasts that talk about them and watch clips online so here's my prediction of ALL IN London 2024.
Statlander and Hathaway vs Nightingale and Ishii: Ishii's team
Storm vs May: Something tells me this feud is going to produce several matches so I'm going with May.
Ospreay vs MJF: Ospreay
Perry vs Darby: Darby
Moné vs Baker: Moné
I don't know who's in Casino Gauntlet match
Jericho vs Hook: Hook
Young Bucks vs FTR vs Acclaimed: Young Bucks
Patriarchy vs Bang Bang Gang vs House of Black: Patriarchy
Swerve vs Danielson: I sense there will be a screwy finish for this one. Danielson wins by DQ.

AEW Fake Rankings, 7/15/2024
Men's singles division - babyfaces
Swerve Strickland (AEW men's world champion)
Jon Moxley
Bryan Danielson
Will Ospreay (AEW international champion)
Mark Briscoe (ROH men's world champion)
Orange Cassidy
PAC
Kyle O'Reilly
Katsuyori Shibata
Tomohiro Ishii*
Men's singles division - heels
MJF
Adam Page
Kazuchika Okada (AEW continental champion)
Jack Perry (AEW TNT champion)
Chris Jericho (FTW champion)
Konosuke Takeshita
Roderick Strong
Kyle Fletcher
Big Bill
Rush
Unranked: Angelico, Anthony Henry*, AR Fox, Dalton Castle*, Jeff Jarrett, Marko Stunt*, Matt Menard, Rocky Romero*, Serpentico, The Beast Mortos*, The Butcher, Tommy Billington*
Jobbers: Ben Bishop*, GPA*, Kevin Blackwood*, London Lightning*, LSG*, Michael Allen Richard Clark*, MSG*, Rhett Titus*, Shaun Moore*
* - Not listed on the AEW's official roster
Right now the main storylines in this division appear to be: Strickland vs. Danielson; MJF vs. Garcia; Ospreay or MJF vs. PAC; Perry vs. a returning Darby Allin; and Briscoe, Cassidy, and O'Reilly against Strong, Matt Taven, and Mike Bennett. I'm confident Jericho, Big Bill, and Bryan Keith will continue feuding with HOOK, Samoa Joe, and Shibata, but that seems to be on hold (possibly creating room for the teased Jericho vs. Minoru Suzuki program).
Okada and Page seem a bit lost in the shuffle for now, even though they're both in the "blood & guts" double cage match on 7/24, and Okada has a non-title match with Strickland this week. Both men could be set up as challengers for Swerve, but not right away. My guess is they'll just be squashing a lot of undercard guys over the next six weeks.
The Don Callis Family is in a bit of disarray, what with Powerhouse Hobbs and Trent Beretta getting injured, Ospreay leaving the group, and Takeshita about to tour Japan for a month. On 7/13 Callis started an issue with Billington, Cash Wheeler, and Dax Harwood, but as it stands he won't have anybody to back him up against those guys except Kyle Fletcher. So I expect some big moves from Callis, and it'll take more than simply trying to recruit Rush.
Men's tag team division - babyfaces
The Acclaimed - Max Caster & Anthony Bowens
Lucha Bros. - Rey Fenix & Penta El Zero Miedo
Wheeler Yuta (ROH pure champion) & Claudio Castagnoli
Private Party - Isiah Kassidy & Marq Quen
Shawn Dean & Carlie Bravo*
Komander (AAA cruiserweight champion) & Metalik*
The Outrunners - Truth Magnum* & Turbo Floyd*
Men's tag team division - heels
The Young Bucks - Matt Jackson & Nick Jackson (AEW tag team champions)
Matt Taven & Mike Bennett (ROH tag team champions)
* - Not listed on the AEW's official roster
The tag division is pretty lopsided, although that doesn't have to be a problem if you're keeping both sets of belts on the two heel teams. But if, for example, the Acclaimed actually dethrone the Young Bucks soon, they're gonna need a mess of heel teams to work with in a hurry. (In theory you could just cannibalize the trios division to fill the void, but I'm not a fan of doing that.)
Five months into AEW's alliance with CMLL, Kommander seems to be the only luchador left in AEW that hasn't severed all ties with CMLL's rival, AAA. I expect he'll either drop the title and stop working for AAA, or he'll gradually get phased out of AEW (which would be a huge mistake in my opinion).
Men's trios division - babyfaces
Juice Robinson & Austin Gunn & Colten Gunn
Malakai Black & Brody King & Buddy Matthews
Darius Martin & Dante Martin & Action Andretti
Men's trios division - heels
The Patriarchy - Christian Cage & Killswitch & Nick Wayne
Cage of Agony - Brian Cage & Toa Liona & Bishop Kaun
Shane Taylor Promotions - Shane Taylor & Anthony Ogogo & Lee Moriarty
Premier Athletes - Josh Woods & Tony Nese & Ariya Daivari
Iron Savages - Boulder* & Bronson* & Jacked Jameson*
* - Not listed on the AEW's official roster
The trios division has been kinda wild lately because a lot of the bigger acts, like Chris Jericho's Learning Tree or Mark Briscoe's Conglomeration, have been nowhere near the trios title. Instead we've had two heel teams--the Patriarchy and the House of Black--chasing a third--Jay White and the Gunns--and two of those three teams are now down a man, so now it's Patriarchy vs. Robinson and the Gunns vying for the vacant title. I'm not even sure if AEW is trying to turn House of Black or the Bang Bang Gang babyface, but it's clearly happening one way or another.
(Technically, Buddy Matthews is out with a storyline injury and has yet to return. But since that was to cover for his legit honeymoon, and since WWE is heavily promoting the return of his wife Rhea Ripley for tonight, I assume Buddy doesn't have anything better to do this week than to stage his own return.)
Women's division - babyfaces
Toni Storm (AEW women's world champion)
Willow Nightingale (CMLL women's world champion)
Thunder Rosa
Hikaru Shida
Queen Aminata
Lady Frost*
Trish Adora*
Leyla Hirsch
Rachael Ellering*
Women's division - heels
Mercedes Mone (AEW TBS champion, STRONG women's champion)
Mariah May
Kris Statlander
Deonna Purrazzo
Skye Blue
Nyla Rose
Saraya
Serena Deeb
Harley Cameron
Anna Jay
Jobbers: Ava Lawless*, Kelly Madan*
* - Not listed on the AEW's official roster
It feels like the women's division is firing on all cylinders lately. We've got four key feuds--Storm vs. May, Mone vs. Britt Baker, Nightingale vs. Statlander, and Rosa vs. Purrazzo--not to mention Athena vs. Aminata and Billie Starkz vs. Red Velvet over in ROH. It also seems like Shida, Nyla, and Skye are being primed to step up when the time comes. This is really good--it feels like a division, and not just the same six women endlessly wrestling each other.
No televised AEW matches in over 30 days: Aaron Solo, Alex Reynolds, Angelo Parker, Bobby Dutch, Brandon Cutler, Diamante, Evil Uno, Griff Garrison, John Silver, Lance Archer, Lee Johnson, Marina Shafir, Taya Valkyrie, Vincent Marseglia
Everybody here is mainly working midcard matches for the ROH tapings. Right now I can't even tell that any of them are being set up for matches in the Death Before Dishonor show on 7/28, which seems like a waste. But all of them are still working regularly, even if you haven't seen them around lately.
No televised AEW or ROH matches in over 30 days: Abadon, Athena (ROH women's world champion), Billy Gunn, Britt Baker, Bryan Keith, Cash Wheeler, Colt Cabana, Danhausen, Darby Allin, Dax Harwood, Dustin Rhodes, Emi Sakura, Jay Lethal, Johnny TV, Kiera Hogan, Kip Sabian, Leila Grey, Madison Rayne, Mercedes Martinez, Nick Comoroto, Peter Avalon, Preston Vance, Red Velvet, Ricky Starks, Sammy Guevara, Satnam Singh, Scorpio Sky, Wardlow
Baker, Harwood, Wheeler, and Allin all just came back to TV. Lethal and Singh have been on-screen supporting Jeff Jarrett, but that's about it. (Singh was recently moved out of the official roster's wrestlers' section to the broadcasters' section, for whatever that's worth.) Athena is doing an angle on ROH where she says she can't wrestle but she has a title match scheduled. Velvet is also booked for the ROH PPV. The Patriarchy clobbered Sabian on TV the other day, but I'm not sure whether that means he'll be doing anything in the near future.
The last I heard about Guevara is that his suspension was lifted some time ago, so I can only assume they haven't come up with a story to bring him back, or they're holding off so he can return alongside Tay Melo. Scorpio has been doing some weird vignettes to set up his return, although I can't remember seeing one in a while. I'm starting to wonder what's up with Wardlow, Starks, and Vance, and at this point I've given up hope Danhausen will ever be back.
No televised AEW or ROH matches in 2024: Dralistico, Luther, Mark Sterling, Michael Nakazawa, Mother Wayne, Paul Wight, Penelope Ford, Prince Nana, Rebel, Sonjay Dutt, Stokely Hathaway
Dralistico and Ford are the only ones on this list that I would expect to see wrestling regularly. Wight is clearly semi-retired, if not retired altogether. Luther, Sterling, Nana, Dutt, and Stokely could wrestle, but they're firmly established as seconds. I can't even remember the last time I saw Nakazawa or Rebel. Shayna Wayne, to my knowledge, has never been a pro wrestler, but I suppose sooner or later the Patriarchy will do a comedy mixed tag match.
Inactive
Adam Cole (left leg - ankle fracture)
Adam Copeland (left leg - tibia fracture)
Angel Ortiz (right shoulder - pectoralis tear)
Bandido (left arm - wrist fracture)
Chuck Taylor (left ankle - necrosis)
Daniel Garcia (storyline - "cervical injuries")
Eddie Kingston (right leg - tibia fracture, ACL/meniscus tear)
HOOK (storyline - fireball to the face)
Jamie Hayter (right shoulder - unspecified injury)
Jay White (storyline - unspecified injury)
Julia Hart (unspecified injury)
Keith Lee (unspecified injury)
Kenny Omega (diverticulitis)
Kota Ibushi (right ankle - multiple ligament tears)
Mark Davis (left arm - wrist fracture)
Matt Sydal (right foot - reconstructive surgery)
Miro (unspecified injury)
Powerhouse Hobbs (right knee - unspecified injury)
Riho (right arm - unspecified fracture)
Ruby Soho (pregnancy)
Samoa Joe (on leave - filming Twisted Metal TV show)
Tay Melo (maternity leave)
Trent Beretta (unspecified injury)
The Blade (lower back - unspecified injury)
Yuka Sakazaki (left leg - unspecified injury)
I don't expect Hook, Jay White, or Garcia to be gone for very long--ideally all three should return to set up grudge matches at Wembley Stadium. I'd say the same for Joe, except I don't know how long it will take to wrap up his filming schedule.
I don't know when Adam Cole will be back, but the fact he took a brainbuster from MJF in May suggests he's coming along pretty well. The big question is what there is for him to return to, now that the guy he turned heel on has also turned heel, and has moved on to new business. So there may be no rush to get him back on-screen, unless they have a story in mind.
Ortiz expects to be back around August. Melo is training for her in-ring return, but I wouldn't know how long that will take. I heard recently that Bandido is getting his wrist re-evaluated, but it's been a tough recovery so I won't be surprised if he's not back soon. I never heard of Copeland tearing any ligaments, so if he just had a broken bone that may not take much longer to recover from, although at his age I think he should take his time.
Everybody else on this list is a total question mark as far as I know. And I think it's worth remembering what Britt Baker recently said about suffering a mini-stroke during her time away. There are a lot of injury reports floating around online, but we never really know everything the wrestlers are going through when they're not on-screen.
