BG3 lets my Arcane Trickster 3/War Wizard 2 copy and prepare level 2 spell scrolls into the spellbook
#this is nof raw for 5e#or well its ambiguous 5e#5e wizard rules says you can only copy spells if you can prepare them#and you can only prepare if its on the wizard list and you have the applicable spell slots#per multiclassing rules to calculate spell slots you add level of whole caster + 1/3rd level of third casters (like AT's)#so i do have second level spells#but per the multiclassing rules; spell preparation focuses on wizard levels in a vacuum#so you have to ignore the extra caster level#but bg3 doesnt do that. it lets me take 2nd level spells#i just cant prepare a lot because its intelligence + wizard level#bg3#baldur's gate 3#d&d#dnd#dnd 5e#if youre wondering ''wait war wizard isnt a subclass option'' correct. i downloaded it as a mod#hey 2 levels of war gives me int+dex to initiative and unlimited Diet Shield spells#i just cant use slots afterwards#which as a rogue im not complaining because i have so much other shit to do#ferno plays bg3

Finally got BG3 and modded Reborn in so I can play one of my 5e character ideas and with the context that my guy fucking Died as his backstory a lot of comments from the others hit different. Karlach's all "Where would you be without the worm?" Dead. Shadowheart derisively spouts "I guess that explains [Astarion's] complexion" while my grey ass is just standing there all 👁👄👁. Astarion whimpers at my feet for a taste of my blood and like my Guy. I'm pretty sure I don't fucking have any. All of my circulatory functions are gone. I don't breathe.
