Stylish Pink Topaz and Dendritic Rhodonite Earrings, Sterling Silver Brutalist Pink Gemstone Dangle Earrings
These are pink and Black Brutalist earrings. The cabochons are dendritic Rhodonite with a very lovely black fernlike pattern across all that pink. The fernlike pattern is repeated in the silver around the 4mm round faceted pink Topaz. The stones are framed together in a silver rounded rectangle for that unusual One-of-a-kind look. These are earrings to build an outfit around. Sterling has been…

“Try f' catch snowflakes on your tongue. It’s fun.” She spins around, arms splayed out, purple and glittery beanie on her head keeping her hair from whipping out at Ben as she becomes increasingly dizzy. Even with her tongue out there is an expression of sheer joy and innocence. Like nothing in the world has ever touched her other than Ben.
{{for Senson}}
{ 🎁 You broke and bought: Senson }
Snow accumulation shows on Ben in under a minute, like on most trees. And while he can frequently be found brushing off his eyebrows, nose, or flyaways peeking out from under his unremarkable grey beanie, Ben likes the snow. Winter is his favorite season. He's never quite had the heart to tell Beth he loathes the heat, that there's no room in it for air dripping with unfulfilled rain, but it swells to watch her twirl, her hair fan around her in the quiet winter air. She whips him twice despite her effort not to. (If he spun like that, he might wreck someone's side-view mirror.)
"I'm covered in the stuff," he calls back. "Tons of snow up here. See?"
Ben does catch snowflakes on his tongue, several fat, fluffy, fernlike dendrites, his beanie slipping off when he tilts his head back. Beth packs snow on the breast of his street parka as he bends to retrieve it. Sticks her tongue out at him.
"Whoa, wait—" he laughs, shaking the snow off his hat. Beth's snow patch drops off gradually, leaving sugar dust on his coat zipper. "What was that for? I can't help being taller than you. Sheesh."
Even if Beth pretends to ignore him approaching, tilting her face up at the sky to catch snow stars, that doesn't stop Ben from being cheeky—only encourages it. Somewhat stooped, he wraps his hands (* mittens by Beth *) around her flanks and puts his tongue on her tongue, hers a touch cold, his warm and dry, like a cat's.
Not the most romantic token, to be sure, though it's certainly packed with affection and perhaps a dash of the magic latent in the heart of the City, and his.

From Earth Science Picture of the Day; March 3, 2017:
Fernlike Dendrite Snow Crystal Photographer: John Stetson; Summary Authors: John Stetson, Jim Foster
The photo above showing fine detail in a hexagonal snow crystal was taken as the first flakes fell during a snowstorm several weeks ago in Sebago Lake, Maine. According to the Magono-Lee snow crystal classification, this is a fernlike dendrite (P1f). These large crystals are often several millimeters across and tend to fall in cold air -- forming dry (low-density) snowpacks. Taken on February 9, 2017, it's my effort to honor the legacy of Wilson Bentley (Snowflake Bentley) for the techniques he first mastered in the early part of the 20th century to capture the beauty and majesty of snowflakes.
Photo Details: Camera Model: NIKON D300; Lens: 105.0 mm f/2.8; Focal Length: 105.0mm (35mm equivalent: 157mm); Aperture: ƒ/32.0; Exposure Time: 5.000 s; ISO equiv: 320; Software: Adobe Photoshop CS4 Macintosh.

Dendritic agate
A most interesting little stone. As I wear her around my neck I get no comments how nice my necklace is or even people glancing at the large pendant. But this is what she likes for she is a crystal quite plain to the casual eye… Not really interested in beings who have no time to stop and observe, to wonder and examine. Because when you do stop and hold this crystal up to the light you find the most beautiful wonderful creations. This mere dark stone is transformed into a wonderful picture. Delicate threads of fernlike shapes are outlined against a warm rosy pink background, the more time and attention given to her the more she reveals. Just as she is beautiful she is friendly. I feel as if this crystal was formed, cut, shaped and set in silver just for me, so I can learn all her knowledge she has acquired if I am willing to stop and spend time with her. She is a piece to be worn and doesn’t like to be taken off. A fizzy giggling feeling I get when I connect to this stone spirit, a child like wonder and innocence she is teaching me.
Take time to examine the dull, the dark, grey and dreary for behind that facade the most beautiful creations may be hidden yet to be discovered.

Real snowflake macro photo: large fernlike dendrite snow crystal, isolated on black. From winter 2013, i keep in source archive many interesting photos, among them - big series of stellar and fernlike dendrites with great structures and symmetry. Unfortunately, my lighting was weak, all of these snowflake photos are monochrome and lack of 3D details that i try to capture nowadays. But i like this series so much, and try to do something with some photos. #snowflake #crystal #individuality #macro #symmetry #uniqueness #design #physics #macrophotography #snowflakes #diversity #variety #geometry #macro_brilliance #macro_perfection (at Moscow) https://www.instagram.com/p/CQGdw_msGLZ/?utm_medium=tumblr
