ATTN: Perth-based Yawn Vibes Releases Dreamy New Single "Fast Lane"

Perth-based Yawn Vibes has just released a dreamy new single titled "Fast Lane." This track marks a shift from their 2022 single "Hometown," embracing a more relaxed, beach-y, and dreamlike sound, highlighted by McLean’s delicate vocals. The production adds to the ethereal quality with jangly guitars and soft horns.

Written during the global pandemic, "Fast Lane" captures the shared experience of passing time in quarantine. The instrumental haziness and the final line, "what if I started swimming again," embody the essence of taking each day at a time.

Yawn Vibes began as a bedroom pop project for songwriter Taylah McLean, later evolving into an indie/alt-rock group with the addition of Ryan K Brennan (Phantastic Ferniture), Chris Grunwaldt (JOYS), Jess Nyanda Moyle (Jocelyn’s Baby), and Rleanne Evangelista (JOYS).

To Mordor Part 3: The Black Gates

The Black Gate stood just as menacing as it did when he first saw them; even more so now as, while in the past he had viewed them at a distance, now he stood directly beneath the towering structure.  This time, however, there was no attempted mad dash for closing gates as instead they stood open, a somewhat permanent addition thanks to the council of Man, Dwarves, and Elves who was in charge of the place. Despite it’s menacing architecture and purpose, it had been decided by the council that such a feat of engineering was better left undisturbed and undemolished. Ignoring the fact the reinforced steel beheammoth would have taken many man hours to dismantle, the gate now had several other uses. Aside from the fact that it had turned into something of a landmark and tourist destination for the more cynically inclined, it now served as a vital checkpoint for the many crossings that were now occuring between the once forbidden lands and the rest of Middle Earth. Carts of various shapes and sizes waited in the secondary customs line for inspection, carrying goods such as fresh fruits and vegetables, grain, bread, tools, wooden ferniture, among other things. And exiting the open mouth lumbered hulking trolls carrying massive payloads of somewhat crude but undoubtedly well-made and sturdy ironworks. Furniture such as tables, chairs, and the like, all with the destinctive rough gothic style could be seen on the backs of the trolls some of which were on their way to furnish the chambers of various Lords and Ladies of the more edgy variety. A quiet aesthetic revolution had been occuring throughout the realm as those the demand for Mt. Doom forged steel had slowly been on the rise. There were two main camps of thought as to the choice of expression. In the first, it was seen as an act of resistance to the crown who some saw as weak and irresponsible for letting the realm to decay and weaken to such a state that it could be threatend by such an evil. Others too challenged the legitimacy of the crown as the lack of a proper ruler all because of some high-born cunt’s kid refused to take the oath only to come back years later with no political experience outside the wheelings and dealings of being a ranger. However, to others it was seen as an act of good will and start of relations and commerce between the lands. King Aragorn himself had ordered a custom piece which now sat in the Great Hall above Minas Tirith. Though, these gestures were largely symbolic as, despite having made the table, the Orcs Urakai and other inhabitants of Mordor did not yet have a seat in any real way. THe laws of the council had forbade any resident of Mordor to take a seat at the council.

As Frodo observed the procession of goods, largely unaware of the politics at play, heclosed his eyes summoned a deep breath and took what was to be his first step back into Mordor. That is, it would have been his first step had he not stumbeled straight into an unsuspecting Orc crossing his path while he was having his somewhat dramatic moment. 

Crash, clang kabang. The soot covered creature tumbeled to the ground along with the rough sack of various cast iron products.

I like how they 'know' he move to la with aw, but he could also change appartements(because someone find his adresq🤷🏼‍♀️), buy bigger/smoller one etc. There are a lot of reasons. Plus sometimes you whant to belive in something so much your brain will give you ideas. I dint know where his appartment is but i guess a lot of people can have white tiles on the wall or similar furnitures and when this fernitures are no custom made this can happen
