Fit Bar Superfood Café, 600 E Colorado Blvd, Ste 1, Pasadena, CA 91101

Fit Bar Superfood Café shares a building with Shares Anytime Fitness and Space Bar (wellness center). The café must be more of a morning place. I usually work out in the afternoon and by the time I’m done, Fit Bar is closed. The menu includes acai and pitaya bowls, smoothies, juices, organic coffee (they serve Unity Coffee), waffles, and toast. They also have kombucha on tap and a refrigerator with snacks and drinks.

I went in there for green juice but then I noticed they have Fermensch Kombucha on tap. I was surprised to find a kombucha brand that I hadn’t tried. Fermensch is based in Orange County. Fit Bar had four flavors on tap. You can get a growler full of kombucha for $22.

Strawberry vanilla palo santo kombucha ($6): Light and fizzy with tangy berry flavor and an interesting coconut/herbal flavor that must be the palo santo?

Service was friendly. The café is small and I didn’t see any seating. They didn’t make the kombucha, so it’s hard to judge the café but I’ll return again.
