Sorry to hear that you're feeling anxious! Wanna give me a rundown of your WIPs?

Yeah sure! .o.

Defenders of Earth is my main WIP.  It’s a weird blend of superhero and fantasy and involves members of a disbanded group of superheroes (the Defenders ofc) raising the Beta generation--who were made with the same powers as the original twelve and are also their biological children--and keeping them away from an organization known as Magics, which wants them for their own nefarious (?) purposes.  Mostly follows the leader of the Defenders, Fergus, who is Tired and Doing His Best.  Is technically a part of a much larger story known as the Golden Verse.

Lionheart is a side novella that I’ve been writing on and off.  It’s a western fantasy that follows Kastor from the invading armies of the south, who’s on the run less because he’s an escaped slave and more because he stole an incredibly powerful weapon known as the Lionheart.  He gets captured by a group of Agniparan bandits led by Hunt who want his bounty, but while bargaining for his freedom he ends up get a little too attached.  (Fun fact: this one takes place in the same universe as DOE, but isn’t a part of the Golden Verse storyline.)

Esurience is my post-apocalyptic epic fantasy!  Takes place in the world of Ler’mund and follows two groups of survivors following an event that caused ~99% of the world’s population to disappear without a trace.  Nalaki’s group is trying to get out of Solvan before magical storms tear the country apart, and Eli’s group is on a mad quest led by a crazy fae to find mythological creatures.  Will eventually be a webcomic.

Those three i’d peg as my most current and complete WIPs? The rest I’ve kinda pushed to the side for the moment because they either need to wait for me to right the thing that comes before it, or it’s just stuck in the worldbuilding stages. :P

I’ll do brief descriptions of them below the cut, though:

South Pawed is the second series in the Golden Verse.  Features a rich boy named Jon, his best friend and escaped convict Tom, and a woman called Alice who claims she can do ~magic.~

Fates is sort of the origin story for the Golden Verse.  It’s about two races, human and valisan, forced to enter into combat of supernatural proportions to ensure the continuation of their race.

Free Spirits is my foray into Scifi and the fourth series in the Golden Verse.  Follows William Voss and his partner, Veylas Rudderford, as they try to make a living as mercenaries and end up kidnapping the wrong person.

Gods of War is the final series in the Golden Verse.  It takes place on the Demon Plane and requires so much other worldbuilding from the previous series that it’s hard to explain what’s going on in just a sentence or two.  Let’s just say an organization of monster killers loses a war to those monsters and gets taken over.

Virtues and Vices is a poorly developed story about two teams of 7 people and their “parasites” and the never ending war against each other.  Mostly consists of me drooling over the Forbidden Romance trope and the angst of being in love with the person who you’re supposed to kill.

Priscilliam is where I take my love of DnD, weird monsters, magic, and various other supernatural stuff and cram it into a post modern urban fantasy.  I’ve kinda got a few different stories within this one, but they all need to be heavily reworked.  One of them is about a vampire who became a celebrity because he lived in the modern age and now he’s plagiarizing all the music from back then.  The others about a reverse werewolf trying to figure his life the fuck out.

Marked is an extension of Esurience.  It takes place on the islands and archipelagos that exist in the Storming Seas.  Big themes of fates and destiny, or lack thereof.  Follows a Wing called Shei who got separated from his flock, but like...this is another world where I got just a metric fuckton of characters and stories and can’t decide on just one.

Slave to the Hunger is about two city-states trying to survive after the dead stop staying dead.  Mostly a worldbuilding project where I’m letting myself get as gritty and horrible as humanly possible.

Ahhhh... I thought I’d answered this ages ago!!! I’m so sorry, I’ve been so slack and neglecting Tumblr lately!!I’m not quite sure where I’m going to go with it.... I have a few ideas pop in and out of my head, but I’m trying to just go with the flow on this legacy and let it decide itself what happens.. With the Voss’ I ended up getting pretty overwhelmed and wasn’t enjoying it anymore because I was trying to plan to much and force the storyline so I’ve decided to be a little more relaxed with Tally and Pixel.....  Anywhooo, Re your question, She definitely loves Fergus with all her heart, she tries to be a good mother, but just really isn’t good at juggling her time between work and family.... Right now she’s still kind of oblivious to Fergus’ situation and how much her not being around is effecting him..  ANNND.... I totally didn’t plan to fall in love with Tally and Pixel either! I’d planned to only play for a short time to check out all the pets stuff, but turns out I’m having too much fun and I’m not ready to give them up so quickly anymore! lol  I do still plan to go back to the Voss’ eventually though...
