I love that justin and I unintentionally built really compatible characters by separately designing around the same core concept: "I want this character to be both willing and eager to stick his nose into dangerous business, sometimes to the point of poor judgement"
#justin and I both independently: oh well he has to be just really curious about and fascinated by everything then! obviously!#simon's got really low wisdom; for all of whatever he's been through in his backstory he's really trusting if not gullible#and of course felix's charisma is really bad and best way he knows how to manage that is not to speak up at all when possible#so simon is actually asking all the questions they both have and felix is keeping a read on the whole situation#simon says 'we are meddling with something dangerous and only a fool would stay involved. however I have always been a fool'#and this is Exactly what felix had been thinking himself in that exact moment (AND a charmingly cheeky way of putting it)#felix touches the scary tree only because he got there first#and when we get a passage open and felix starts peeking in simon immediately sets out dancing lights and follows#like felix is already in love with this man but at the VERY least they're gonna be friends!!#also SIMON WITH KEEN MIND 🤝 FELIX WITH OBSERVANT: THE KNOW EVERYTHING AND PISS OFF THE DM BROTHERS#my OCs#felix#about me#husband

DUUUUUUDDDDEEEEEEEE I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR UR REQS TO OPEN AHH
okay okay hear me out on this one..
When you had a fight with Felix (god forbid) and you are sulking but it’s thundering outside and you are scared of thunder, so he comes up though you are not talking 🥺🥺 can i cry please
NYAH SORRY IT TOOK SO LONG TO OPEN ya boi was zzzz but here you go!! hope u enjoy my love!! whenever i write fluff and stuff i get so mad bc it's so cute im like BALLS FISTS and hITS THE AIR so at this point you're taking me down with you
pairing: felix x gn!reader genre: lil angst, fluff, gn!reader warnings/other: none, .9k, kinda edited there were very few times you had argued with felix. it was never to the point of yelling nor insults, but sometimes he frustrated you to no end.
on occasion, felix would do small, careless things that turned into, well, large, careless things. you weren't living together, though he was at your house enough to have a key and free range of your fridge. you'd joke about how he was your live-in farm animal because he consistently grazed on your food. you didn't mind, though, your cute calf lounging around your house.
but this time, he sent you into a rage. felix eating your food. it wasn't just food, it was the cake you had hand baked for your friends birthday, and it was very important. you slaved over the cake for three days, the first one you made was a disaster, the second the same but the third time, it was flawless. you were so proud.
the three tiers of cake perfectly aligned with the black and red fudge. pretty little pearl gems along the side with hand crafted roses. it was your shining glory. everything about it was absolutely perfect.
well, that was before felix decided to press his finger in it to try it, the pressure of his touch making the cake completely topple over in the fridge. it was ruined, not even a tiny bit salvageable.
nothing in you regretted kicking him out this morning, until now. the gentle sounds of rain trickled down the windows in the beginning, small spurts of harsh wind whispering through the trees.
it was okay at first, you liked the rain but you didn't like thunder. something about the sound clawed into your chest, burying itself deep inside you and making itself at home. it was scary, the feeling of your windows shaking back and forth with the bangs of the wind.
every minute, it got worse. you could hear the sounds of branches snapping, thunder rumbling into the walls of the house with every snap of clouds banging into each other.
you're stuck in your closet, hands pressing against your ears as you rock back and forth, trying to hum yourself to calm down, almost like a lullaby. your mind tells you if you leave the closet, it'll get worse. like somehow, your movements will change the course of nature.
another bang shutters the windows, you whimper, scared of the noises yet to come. a strangled zap echoes in your room, all of the lights switching off in an instant. it's completely pitch black, the only light coming from your phone on the ground next to you.
"please stop, please stop." you chant to yourself over and over, eyes pressing shut. the weather channel lied. this isn't light showers. this was the throat of a demon swallowing the world.
you don't even notice the closet door open at first, a small amount of light peeping through from a torch. your boyfriend is staring down at you. he takes you in, his wet hair sticking to his forehead, and he's slightly out of breath as if he ran the whole way here.
"baby, it's okay, it's me." he almost whispers. he notices the wet marks on your shirt, little droplets of tears planting themselves in the fabric.
nothing comes out of your mouth but a small whimper.
bang. the sound of thunder surrounds the house, slightly shaking the pictures on your wall. you let out a sob, mind still stinging with fright.
"here, here." felix says, showing you a pair of noise cancelling headphones. you can't move, frozen in your spot. he knows exactly what to do, this isn't the first time you've been this scared before.
ever so gently, he pry's your hands from your ears, placing the headphones over your head. it's one of your favourite songs, just loud enough to drown out the sound of the thunderstorm. you feel him slot himself behind you, wrapping his arms around your shoulders, head pressed against your neck. you can't hear him, but you can feel his lips moving against you. his hair is cold, still dripping from the rain.
"it'll be over soon, i promise."
your body automatically turns to him, seeking shelter in his chest, arms wrapping around his waist. a crack of thunder pangs, but it's not as loud this time. you're melting into your boyfriends touch, his arms rubbing soothing lines along your back, rocking you with him. the anxiety in your chest lessens, every minute that goes by you can feel yourself calm just a bit more.
felix dips his head down as he delicately pulls you back, eyes meeting your own. "it's not gonna hurt you, it's okay. i'm here, baby."
a few kisses are pressed on your cheek, and then one on your forehead. he hums, cheek resting against you, the feeling vibrating through your body.
you're not sure how long you sit like this, but you haven't felt and rumbles for a few minutes. when you've calmed down a bit, you lean back, rain still pouring down on the windows.
"i'm still mad at you."
the corner of his mouth turns up at one side, his fingers rubbing along the bloated edges of your cheeks. "i'd be disappointed if you weren't."

Based on the fairytale by George MacDonald, PHANTASTES
Fairytales are always said to be all happy and lovely. With fairies, dragons, queens, kings, princesses, princes, and many more to bring their magical world to life, however, it's never really like that.
Those happy and lovely fairytales everyone kept on hearing were all retold tales. The original ones always have that sad, furious, or scary part. No one just wanted to believe them because they all want a happily ever after.
Although these original ones were overshadowed by the retold ones, there are still many who reads the original ones. They're even making videos, theories, and much more about them.
One mysterious book, one secret, full of retold fairytales. Plot twists were made yet, the book remained unfinished. It was currently in the hands of the author's great-granddaughter.
Although, it was tucked away deep in his chest of his valuables. Dust covers the exterior of the book, just resting at the very bottom, ready to be found, cleaned, and read.
It was hoping to be read and finish the unfinished fairytales written in the book full of retold tales.
You walk down the flight of stairs, a basket full of fruits in your right hand whilst your other hand has a tray resting on your palm. You put the tray on the table before you put down the basket as well.
Afterward, you grab the towel that was hanging on the chair before you wipe the sweat forming on your forehead. You gently place the fruits on the sink and hear the loud and cheerful voices of your dear brothers.
"I'm coming to get you! Better run away, Luca!" Your brother says, picking up the boy who is smaller than both of you, perks of being an 8-year-old.
Your youngest brother laughs, swinging his arms in the air as he shouts to put him down.
"Okay, little bud! Help mom with dirty clothes. We'll wait for you before we cook." He pats his head. Their younger brother nods as he runs out of the house to call their mother. Meanwhile, he walks to your side as he helps you wash the fruits.
"I overheard mom's conversation with grandma this morning. They want you to finish something that belonged to our great grandfather." He says as he takes the washed fruits and the cutting board on the side. You look at your brother, Felix Lee, as he takes the knife out from its sheath. He places the washed apple on the wooden cutting board before he cuts the apple into half, then into quarters.
"They said it's in the chest in the attic. You know great grandfather's chest of valuables, right?" Felix asks, grabbing another apple to slice it into quarters.
"Yes, I know the chest, but what do they want me to finish?"
"I'm not sure which one, but they said it's a book. It's different from the others because it's the only one with a title... At least, that's what they said." Felix specified, you finished washing the fruits and put them on the side for Felix to slice.
"I'll go check it out. You can tell mom and Luca to cook without me. Don't mess the kitchen now and don't cut yourself either like last time." You say sternly, ruffling the hair of her brother.
Felix could only roll his eyes as he watches his sister go upstairs to the attic. You open the door of the cold attic, your chocolate brown eyes immediately land on the baggage stacked on the side.
Dust was mostly everywhere, ready to give someone a cough. You made your way to where the chests are, old and new ones. You shoved the ones that were covering the old chests.
Specks of dust suddenly get everywhere. "I need to wash after this." You let out a heavy sigh and open the chest that has the label of your great grandfather.
It was half-empty, almost every object in the chest was visible. Books were stacked on one side, alongside with notebooks and sketchpads beside it. Paint, paintbrushes, and other things for art on the other side. In the middle were the things he used for writing.
It made you think of all the things your father has told you and your brothers. How much your creative great grandfather loved art and wrote whatever he wanted. It was an opportunity for him to explore what he wasn't able to explore.
You look for the said book, the only book with a title. After you lift the pile of books, notebooks, and sketchpads, in hopes to find the titled book, and you finally did. The book had a red hardbound cover; the title was on the bottom of the cover.
You wipe away the dust from the book and blow away the remaining dust. You then close the chest, returning the objects you moved to get to the things of your great grandfather. Soon enough, you left the attic with the book in your grasps.
You enter your room and close the door. You changed your dirty clothes into cleaner ones, ones that you actually feel clean to wear.
You sat down on your wooden chair and took out a wet cloth to wipe the dirty red hardbound cover.
You could read the title now, Book of Retold Fairytales, it said. You flip through the pages, unbothered to read the book just yet.
You stopped your actions, however; you noticed a plentiful of empty pages between each story. It was as if it wasn't finished then you realized: that's what they want you to do.
The completion task is yours, but you felt scammed. You aren't good at writing stories or essays at all. Your great grandfather could write these stories, how could you, a person who doesn't write, end it?
Well, there is an answer to that. An answer that your great grandfather has always waited for. An answer that always helped him with his imagination and concentration, and that is to do it.
Go to the destination, do the actions, complete the story, that's all. The question is, how can one do it? Another simple answer! Get dragged into it.
You let out a heavy sigh and flip back through the cover page. How would you get dragged into the story? You don't even believe in those things! You read the very first fairytale you saw, and it's titled 'Phantastes'.
You tilt your head to the side, just remembering that the tales written here are retold in the words of your grandfather.
After reading the first page of the tale and was about to flip the next until your arm was being wrapped with mysterious yet sparkly yellow dust.
You dust it off and found out that it was hard to get it off. Soon, it engulfed your entire body, and you ended up in a completely different world.
You were confused, scared as well to where you are. You were stuck in a weird place, almost as it was a room full of unknown technology. You faced in front of you, a circular platform made from Silver, Concrete, and Marble.
Outline the circle. There were chairs made of concrete and marble. The gray concrete was painted white to make it more appealing to the eye.
You were hesitant, but you slowly made your way to the raised platform. Instantly, you flinched when a small concrete pillar came out from the ground.
There you see a card, a holographic card with a silver lining. You inspected, 'Phantastes' was written on both of its side. You slowly take the card from its pillar, only to find yourself in a bedroom, except it's not your bedroom.
You jumped when a paper appeared in front of you. You caught the falling paper and mumbled for an explanation instead. You sigh, ready to throw the blank piece of paper away until it started glowing.
You stared at it; something was being written, word by word, and you weren't the one writing.
You sat on the bed of the enormous bedroom. The bedroom looked nothing like yours back home. Instead, it seems like those bedrooms in Victorian mansions of wealthy people.
The paper in your hand then withers away into nothing but dust.
"I wasn't even able to read that," you stand up from the bed. You examined the bedroom until you sat in front of a mirror.
Even your clothes are different, and just like the bedroom, it looks nothing like yours.
You had a white blouse with long sleeves with added cuffed sleeves at the end to look clean. The skirt was a blue plaided skirt that stopped when it touched the ground. You slightly lift the dress and saw a glimpse of your black doll shoes. Your hair was styled beautifully, so beautiful you don't want to let your hair down.
Suddenly, you hear a tinkling sound from the desk beside the bed. You turn around to see a small creature standing there.
You slowly and carefully walk towards the little creature, and with every step you took, the tiny creature takes the form of a human, but there's something else. It had wings.
The insignificant creature flew and stared at you, but soon, it broke the eye contact, for it turned its head to the side. Your eyes followed the fairy but stood frozen when the bedroom changed.
Tall trees, bushes, flowers, and grass appear. Suddenly, you got the urge and courage to go to the wondrous sight in front of you.
"This is Fairyland, a land full of magic and spirits." The fairy spoke, and this surprised you.
You were already in front of Fairyland that the fairy had shown. Could it be the way for you to go back to your home?
"What do I have to do to come back home?" You spoke to the fairy who looked scared, maybe worse; terrified and traumatized.
"The boy who lived in this mansion has gone there and lost his path. I never saw him again, but he is alive. Find him, and you will return to your home," the fairy said.
You turned your head to look at the forest. Now, you knew why it showed Fairyland to you. When you faced the woods again, it looked darker and gloomier.
You have no choice though, if that's the only way for you to return. You entered the forest, possibly never to be seen again. You turn around, and the bedroom is gone. It wasn't there anymore.
You're now in the forest, nowhere else to go but forward and look for the boy.
The forest was beautiful rather than gloomy like earlier. Countless fresh flowers, mushrooms growing on trees, birds chirping, and living in their homes peacefully. You were enjoying the sight of young fairies flying and playing around.
A smile made it to your lips, but it soon disappeared when you saw a cottage and heard the loud and cheerful voice of a young girl. You took a couple of steps closer to the cabin, and the sight of a young girl playing with flowers and fairies greets your presence.
The young girl laughed until she saw you, and a broad smile was immediately plastered on her face.
"Mommy! We have another special guest!" The girl ran to you, she hugged your legs as a sign of welcome. A woman then comes out of the cottage, a surprised and welcome smile on her lips. She walked towards you and her daughter.
"Hello, welcome to our home. Would you like to come inside and have some tea?" The woman insisted on which you felt bad to reject it.
"Of course, that would be nice, thank you," you follow the woman and her daughter into their cottage. The girl lets you sit down on the chair while she washes her hands.
"I never thought that we would get another guest after that boy yesterday. I am confused why you both suddenly appeared." The woman places the finished tea on that table in front of her. The woman then sits down, the welcoming smile still on her pink lips.
You flinched your head to look at the woman.
"Wait, a boy? If I may ask, why was he here yesterday?" You ask, and the woman's smile became softer.
"I believe he got lost. I told him where to go and what to look out for, but I believe he got attacked after leaving our home." The woman looked worried; her last sentence made you wonder.
"What attacked him?" You questioned, the woman let out a saddened sigh.
"Spirits, evil spirits that live in the forest." The woman answered, a puzzled expression on your face. The lady seemed to notice it.
"Everything here has spirits from the trees to the plants to the rocks to the grass, Everything. There are more good spirits than bad, though." The lady explains,
"However, there are the most dangerous ones. They are the spirit of the Ash trees and the spirit of the Alder trees. These two spirits will attack anyone who comes near its property," The lady adds.
She gets up from her seat and takes out a sketch pad from her wooden shelf. She gives the sketch pad to you, where you could see the appearances of each spirit.
"These are what the spirits look like and what they are guarding. This girl is the spirit of the Ash tree, and this is the spirit of the Alder tree." She points at the two spirits, which they looked like two teenage girls.
"I want you to look out for them when you explore the forest; they are very dangerous, especially towards humans like us. The other spirits are just guarding my daughter and me." The lady added.
You close the sketch pad once you gain the memory of the appearance of the two spirits. You let out a heavy sigh, unsure if you can find the boy without getting into trouble.
You placed the sketch pad on the table in front of you as thoughts arise in your already clouded mind. What if you get hurt and die? Will you be stuck in this world?
"Thank you for warning me and letting me know what the spirits look like." You smiled at the lady; the lady's welcoming smile was back on her lips.
"No problem, dear! I'm glad that I could help." The lady responded as she watched you finish your tea.
You stood up from your seat and sent your heavy thanks to the lady once more before leaving. You stopped, however, when the lady shouted you something.
"Don't die because you'll die for real. You won't be able to return to your home." The lady says.
You turn your head to look at the lady, but she was already gone, out with her daughter. You left their property with fear and countless thoughts, and assumptions of what the outcome of your death that you hoped would never come.
Exploring the forest has never been scarier than your first. Now, you know what you need to ignore, avoid, and to fear, it scared you.
Your head was so full of thoughts to the point you didn't notice you have stepped into the land you aren't meant to be on.
You were out of your trance when you heard words murmured around you.
Instantly, you inspect your surroundings, and feel your body tremble in fear once you realized where you are, in the forest of Ash and Alder Trees. The two spirits known to be always together as if they are sisters.
You're afraid to take another step, but also afraid to stay in one place. You tried to take action slowly, only to hear another word being murmured to you.
You shut your eyes as you gather all the courage in you to take another step, a step you never knew would give you a nightmarish encounter.
You come face to face with one of the two spirits you were told to stay out of trouble, the spirit of the Ash trees.
She looked young, a young teenager, but her eyes were scary green with a hue of blue. Her hair was long, long enough to touch her kneecaps. She reaches her hand out to you before a mischievous appears on the spirit's pale lips.
In a flash of a second, you were grabbed by branches. Most of it started from your feet. You let out a fearful gasp when you felt the tingling feeling of the vines.
You felt disgusted and weak; you felt like your death was nearing. However, most of it disappeared when you saw a shard of glass on the leafy ground.
You swing the shard to cut the vines, which end up with the spirit yelling for the help of the spirit of the Alder tree. You quickly escape with the shard of glass, leaving a few cuts on your palm. But you couldn't care less; you just want to get away.
Eventually, you escaped and left the forest of the Ash and Alder spirit.
You angered them, made them furious, and now you're is sure they are ought to find and punish you.
With anxiety and courage on your side, you continued your search for the missing boy.
You kept the shard of glass in the pocket of your skirt. Speaking of your dress, it was now covered in dirt.
Your white blouse was dirty as well; a tear has appeared on your left sleeve! However, you ignored it; you continued walking and ignored the blood that was dripping from your hand.
You halted when you heard singing. The boy's voice was soft, almost gentle, and silky as if it made for a long silk ribbon.
You followed the voice, curious about who was singing and what it was singing for. Your curiosity grew when you saw a boy in front of a statue. The statue was a lady, and although it was a statue, it looked beautiful. You came to understand why he was singing to the marbled figure.
The boy has chocolate-brown hair, a delicate jawline, pink lips, and eyes that seem to smile with his lips. He was handsome, his voice sounded lively, and his dirty clothes looked wealthy if cleaned.
Your eyes widen when you saw the statue lady flee from him. The boy looked surprised, overwhelmed with the scenery of the statue that fled from him.
You took a step forward, let the boy hear the rustling of leaves around you. He turns around and feels his heart stop at the sight of you.
You stare at each other with shocked expressions, but the surprised faces turned into threatened and feared.
Both of you aren't aware of what the other is capable of. You could mistake him for a human when he could be a spirit, and the boy felt no different.
"Who are you?" You both questioned in sync, both are silent until spoken again. "I said, who are you?" Asked in sync once more, you groan.
"I ask you one more time, who are you? Are you a spirit or a human?" You said, your stern voice masked your fear.
"I'm a human, are you as well?" The boy asks, and you bob your head as an answer to his question. The boy lets out a sigh of relief as his fear of death disappears.
You stare at each other for one more time before they look away. The boy walks forward, your nose scrunches at the way the boy walks.
"Are you injured?" You question, to which the boy gives you an expression you cannot describe.
"I don't think so... also, I should ask you that. Your palm has a cut, and you're too careless to pay attention to it." He makes his way towards you.
He grabs your hand and examines the cut; a concerned expression replaces his indescribable one. He put your palm closer to his face.
The cut wasn't at all deep, but it wasn't small either. Dried blood surrounded the fresh-cut. You were lucky it's not infected yet.
"We need to find water and clean that cut of yours. It might get infected," he rips a part of his cloak. His action brought surprised expression on your face.
The sound of cloth ripped from his cloak confused you; why did he have to do that? He takes your hand once more and wraps the piece of cloth around your cut.
"That will do it! We need to find shelter before the spirit of the Ash and the Alder tree finds us again. I'm guessing you angered them as well?" He gives you a questioning look.
"I angered them as well... All we could do is hope that we don't get killed." He lets out a soft chuckle before he walked in front of you.
"Come on, better walk before we get killed." You walk through the forest again, both always on the look-out for anything harmful.
"I never got your name, may I know it?" The boy asks you, his eyes glued to the path in front of him.
"My name is y/n, how about you?" You were the one asking this time. The boy looks and smiles at you, the way his pupils disappear, and the dimple on his cheeks shows itself.
"Soobin, Choi Soobin... Hm, did you get dragged in this forest as well?" he asks again before you continue your walking journey.
"Yes, they dragged me here to look for the boy that never came back for days. I guess boy is you," you raise a brow whilst Soobin sighs.
"Yup, that's me... but I've been gone for days?" It confused him; it felt like only a couple of hours had passed.
"Yes, days! The fairy who brought me here said and-," you were silenced when you heard a rustle. Soobin was about to ask, but you immediately silenced him.
You look around attentively, a sight of any moving object wary of you. You moved closer to Soobin, in fear of suddenly getting attacked.
Suddenly, you see a woman walking towards you both. Soobin looks at the woman with a suspecting face. The woman smiles, which gave discomfort to the two.
"Hello, I'm a maid from a palace near here, but I lost my way trying to return. Can you help me find my way back?" The woman says with an upset expression.
Soobin looks at you, who has an uncomfortable expression. You weren't buying this; the maid was suspicious. She came out from nowhere and this warred you.
You walk to Soobin's side and hold his hand. "Sorry, but I'm afraid we can't help you." The maid's upset expression turned into a disappointment one.
"Y/n, come on, ease up a bit. She works in a palace. It can't be that far! Anyway, I should be certain that the palace is enormous for us to see." Soobin says whilst he pats your back.
He looks at the maid and offers her both of your help. The maid solemnly smiles at him. But there was something wrong with it- it's the way she weirdly glared at you afterward.
Soobin helped the maid find her way back. Their walk was long, just like their other walks whilst exploring the forest.
You swore you have seen no other sign of humanity again, if only you don't include the 'maid'. The way the maid kept looking at you made you feel annoyed.
You were walking behind Soobin and the so-called maid. Soobin was busy talking to the maid whilst you were on her guard, and constantly.
Suddenly, you heard something break behind you. You spin around, only to see nothing but a branch fall from a tree.
You turn around again, and jump in shock when the spirit of the Ash Tree stood in front of you. Her pale face staring intently at your not-so-pale skin.
"Hello, we meet again! I'm afraid you caused me too much pain, that will cause death." The spirit says and suddenly, vines grab your legs.
You tried to grab the shard of glass in your pocket, except your arms were wrapped with the vines already.
"Soobin! RUN!" You screamed, and vines made its way to your neck. You heard the spirit laugh at your suffering.
Suddenly, the vines were cut once again, which resulted in the spirit's deafening screams. She dropped you to the ground and arms were wrapped around your shoulder.
You cough for air before you face the person who has their arms wrapped around your shoulder. It was Soobin. His lingering eyes stared at the spirit in front of you.
"Well, look who we have here," the spirit of the Alder tree shows herself. She was still dressed in her maid clothes, which she used to trick them both.
"I'm sorry, I should have listened to you," you heard Soobin mutter when he saw the bruises around your neck.
"No, it's fine. You're quite stubborn, but you only wanted to help," Soobin helps you stand up. The two spirits laugh and try to attack you both at the same time.
Soobin's eyes widen and leap in front of you to shield your weak figure. However, neither of you felt pain and only heard the screams of agony of the two spirits.
You both turn your heads, only to see a man dressed in iron armor.
"Knight Choi Yeonjun, I never knew you would protect such weak human beings." The spirit of the Ash Tree snickered at him. The knight only pointed his iron sword at the two spirits.
"We shall not support Death in the lands of Fairies and other spirits. This shall be the last time if you are not on your property. If blood gets on one property's land other than your own, you are bound to be banished from Fairy Land." He stated and the two spirits groaned.
The two spirits glare at Yeonjun before they fled back to their forests. Yeonjun looks at the two who looked lost and are extremely lost.
"Go on, they will not bother you anymore," Yeonjun says and flashes them a smile. He gets on his horse.
"Thank you for helping us, good Knight, sir," you say, the knight says no more and walks away from them to do his duties.
"We better get going. It looks like the night is coming to pain us." Soobin jokes and you let out a laugh.
The two continued your journey once again, but found another cottage. It looked different from the cottage of the lady and her daughter.
The door of the cottage opens, and a man exits the cottage. He looked surprised to see you and Soobin. He grabs a sword on the side and points it at your direction.
"Sir, we mean no harm. Please, put your sword down." Soobin stood in front of you to shield you once again. The man didn't do what he was told, but another lady came out and made him put his sword down.
"Oh, my, guests! Honey, that's no way to treat them. They look like troubled and exhausted, treat them nicely." The lady says and runs towards you and Soobin.
"Hello, I'm Jihyo and that is my husband over there, his name is Daniel. Please, come inside! The night is arriving!" The lady insisted and dragged them both inside.
Soobin holds her hand before they enter their home, which was brighter and more spacious than the last home they visited. Suddenly, a young girl comes down the stairs. "Guests!!" She jumped off the stairs and hugged their arms.
"Welcome to our home! What are your names!?" The little girl asks, a wide smile on her face.
"My name is y/n,"
"Hello, I'm Choi Soobin," The little girl jumps in joy.
"My name is Jigeon!" The little girl says and sits down beside her father. Jihyo comes with a tray of cups of tea and she puts it down on the table. "Here is some tea, you may rest here for the night." Jihyo insisted,
"Ah, really? Thank you so much," you both smile at Jihyo before she sits down beside her husband.
"Big sister, do you believe in the magic of Fairyland and fairy tales?" The little girl asks, and she shows you her drawing of a fairy.
"Yes, I believe in magic but I don't know about fairy tales, love."
"If it's okay, can I ask why?" Jihyo asks, her eyes stuck on you and Soobin.
"I'm not saying I don't believe in them. It's just that so many people have retold them in different ways, no one knows the proper story." Suddenly, you remember the fairy in the bedroom from before.
"But I guess, I believe in some of them. Not everything about life will end in a happily ever after." She added and Daniel sighed in disbelief.
"Who believes in those things anyway?" He asks, causing Jihyo to chuckle.
Everyone continued to talk about fairy tales, facts about themselves, and what you and Soobin will do on the next day.
Soon, the evening arrived, and the family went to bed. You were staying in the extra bedroom they offered you both to sleep in. Soobin insisted on staying in the living room, for he doesn't want to trouble them.
They provided extra sets of clothes to wear for your next journey. It was a good and quiet evening, although the two couldn't sleep.
You exit your bedroom quietly and head to the living room. You halted your tracks when you saw Soobin still awake. He seemed to read a book; Soobin noticed your presence and smiled.
"Why are you still awake?" Soobin asks, "I should ask you the same." You let out a chuckle and sit beside him on the wooden couch.
"I'm just thinking of home. It was my choice to enter this forest but never thought of what could happen." Soobin lets out a heavy sigh.
"I can't relate at all. I got dragged here because I was told to look for you." you pout, Soobin laughs, and pats your head.
"I'm sorry about that," he apologized.
"Don't apologize, I was dragged here in this book." you exclaimed, but soon realized what you said. Immediately, you cover your mouth and turn her head to look at Soobin.
"What- what do you mean?" Soobin was confused, but you just looked away.
"Well, what's the point? We probably won't see each other again after you go back home." You look into his eyes, which were showing sadness. The prominent frown on his lips.
Your eyes, however, were hopeful, and your head was still full of unanswered questions. You take Soobin's hand in yours.
"I don't belong in this place, or this world at all. It's hard to believe, but I'm from a whole other world. We are in a fairy tale that my great-grandfather retold." Soobin looks puzzled. But soon it disappeared.
It was replaced with a rather disappointed one. He looks at you and smiles. The disappointed smile made your heart flip.
"I understand, why were you dragged in this fairy tale, anyway?" He asks, his tone of voice was soft, unlike his usual tone.
"We have this family tradition of finishing what our ancestors started or else, they won't rest in peace. I was told to finish this book before my great-grandfather started and here I am," you answered.
Soobin just nodded and looked away. It disappointed- you're leaving after he finds his way back home. Though you talked little, he enjoyed your company.
Silence then came and took over. The two are quiet, both are scared to speak after your explanation. You sighed, which caught the attention of Soobin.
"Let's forget I said that and try to enjoy this dangerous journey until we get back. You should rest, we still have many things to do." You smile before you patted Soobin's head.
You were about to head back to your room until Soobin stopped you. You face the boy who has a smile on his face. "Good night, I hope you sleep well."
You smiled and nodded, "I hope you sleep well too." You went back to your room, the softest smile on your lips.
You lay on the bed, the comfort finally arrives, and you felt better. You close your eyes and let the sleepiness get to you. At last, ever since you came into the forest, you finally felt at ease.
The next day, you and Soobin thank the family once more before you get ready to leave. You both turn around and walk away from the family's cottage.
"What are we going to do now?" Soobin asks while he moves some branches for you to pass without getting hurt. "Find a way back home, stay out of trouble," you stated.
Soobin just agreed with you as he watched you walk in front of him. He was about to push away another branch until something grabbed his wrist. He turns around to check, but he sees no one.
He turns his head to the tree, and his eyes widen. His shadow was holding his wrist. He quickly takes his wrist back and follows you. Throughout your entire journey, Soobin's shadow kept on annoying him.
It made Soobin trip over nothing, hit himself twice, and kept on bothering him. It concerned you; you did not know what was going on until afternoon came.
"Soobin-," you turn around, but Soobin wasn't there at all.
"Soobin? Soobin!" You shout his name. But no one responded. You turn around again. But he still wasn't there.
He wouldn't leave you there, right? Something bad must've happened.
You took a step forward, only to trip on nothing, and hit your head. You wince, your palm caresses the pained part.
You sit up, scared to suddenly feel blood on your head. However, you felt your heart skip a beat when you saw an enormous palace. You get on your feet and make your way towards the two gold doors.
You caressed the gold details, fascinated by the beautiful designs. Suddenly, the doors open. You come face to face with the long hall of the palace. You took a step inside and the two doors shut itself. You walk your way through the palace, still fascinated by the interior of the humongous building.
Everything was gorgeous: the gold and white furniture, the marble tops, the large arched windows. You even discovered a room with stained glass windows, and a room with a grand staircase. There were many rooms which might take days exploring.
You find another room with two large doors. Except the doors were silver. You pushed the door open. Your mouth goes agape at the sight of millions of books. A soft smile makes it on your pink lips as you enter the library.
"This is magnificent," you mutter in amusement. You were about to take another step, however. Music plays in the halls. The music sounded like a waltz. You exit the library in curiosity and go towards the direction of the music.
The music changed its tone. It sounded more like a ballroom's music. You stop in front of a door, a silver one and gold one. You press your palms against the door and pushes it open.
Your eyes went wide at the sight of the dancing statues. They all turned at you and immediately returned to to their pedestals. You enter the hall and jumped when you heard the door shut behind you.
You look at the hall in front of you: The statues were porcelain or marble, but they all looked marvelous. You walked through the hall, but you halted your movements once you saw a familiar figure staring at one empty pedestal.
"Soobin!" You shout his name, the boy turns his head to look at your running figure. He smiles in relief and rushes towards you. Immediately, he embraced you.
"I thought I lost you!" You both said in sync.
"You vanished from my sight!" You both said again. Soobin breaks the hug and notices that you were staring at the pedestal behind him.
It belonged to the Marble lady he was singing to. You then remembered the music you heard that played throughout the entire palace. It was the lullaby Soobin was singing to the marble lady for the first time.
"Soobin, sing the lullaby you first sang to her." You said, your eyes full of curiosity, and Soobin does what he was told. After his lullaby, the marble lady materialises the pedestal. The marble lady looks down upon you both, only to flee the next minute.
"Wait! M'lady, come back!" Soobin chases her, you follow them through the long hall you were in. The waltz music plays again. The statues you both ran past were dancing again.
The marble lady opens a door and goes through it. Before Soobin could stop and analyze the door, he tripped through alongside you.
You were the first one to look where they ended up in. It looked like you returned to Fairyland. You hear a groan below you and your cheeks flushes red immediately. You quickly get off Soobin and help the tall male stand up.
"I'm so sorry, Soobin! I never realized you were below me," Soobin laughs and pats her head.
"It's not your fault, it's my fault for suddenly fleeing after the marble lady. By the way, where are we?" He asks- the trees looked shorter, more mushrooms on the trees, and lizards standing on two legs whilst wearing heavy armor.
"What is that!?" Soobin shouts in fear and shock. He hid behind you, even though he's the taller one. The creature turns its head at both of you before it pulls out its sword. Your eyes widen as you immediately get on your feet.
You inspect the lizard related creature. It looked like a dragon, but with no wings. The heavy armor makes a clicking sound every time they move. The creature looked strong; they are definitely not a match for neither of you. Suddenly, you remember what they are, they're from her great-grandfather's sketches. He calls them Kobolds!
"Kobold, sir... we mean no harm and we wouldn't want harm to us as well. Please, put your sword down. I promise you, we are weaponless." You reassured them. The kobold looked hesitant but eventually put his sword down.
"Why are there humans in our forest?" The kobold who you talked to ask the other beside him.
"Sir, we were chasing a marble lady but ended up here. Have you seen her? I also deeply apologize if we are trespassing on your property. All we wanted is to go back to our home," You added, and kobolds look at her in shock.
"You, lady. How can you understand us? We are speaking our own language," you assumed who was the leader asked you.
"What do you mean, good sir? You are speaking the human language," you tilt your head.
"Yes, s-sir. You are speaking the human language." Soobin stares at them, fear still prominent on his face.
"No, we are speaking our own language! I am guessing, there is some power in you that could make you understand us. That power makes it seem like we're speaking in your language," The kobold explains.
You look at Soobin and show him a relieving smile. He gulps the lump in his throat and holds your hand, tightly.
"Kobold, sir. Do you know how we can leave your forest?" you question the Kobolds who nod their heads.
"We could show you, but it will be a long journey. Maybe, along the way, you can tell me how you got here." He says, and you showed a reassured smile. The kobolds smile at your reaction.
"Splendid! We'll let you guide our ways," you say. The leader Kobold shows you both the way. Eventually, he would ask you questions about your sudden appearance.
Unbeknownst to you and the leader, Soobin was being mocked by the other Kobolds.
"Another question about us, how did you know we are Kobolds? It takes time for other creatures and spirits to know we are Kobolds." The leader asked. His eyes kept glancing at you and the path in front of him.
"I've seen a sketch of your kind in my great-grandfather's sketchbooks. His sketches are marvelous, always so realistic and splendid. You look very similar to the very first kobold he drew." You smile, suddenly, the kobold halt his steps. You did the same and turn to look at him. A softer and relieved look flashes over his face.
"It has been very long, I see. When did your great-grandfather pass away?" The kobold asks.
"The mid-last year. Why do you ask, sir? Do you know him?" You ask, curious about why he looks like that.
"It is nothing, we are almost there." The kobold smiles as you continue walking.
"Y/n, help me~ they kept on mocking me," you turn your head around. You try to contain your laughter when Soobin looks miserable in between all three kobolds. Soobin grunts and goes to your side.
"Aw, wittle baby wants his mommy~," The kobolds continued to mock Soobin who looked embarrassed. Soon enough, you were all outside the forest, and a much more pleasing sight greeted everyone.
It was a beach, its sand was a beautiful beige color, the waters were crystal clear, and there were sea shells of different sizes.
"This is beautiful, but how did we get to a beach?" Soobin asks, the kobold didn't answer and points at a boat by the docks.
"Get on that boat, let it take you to an island with a cottage. There will be an ancient lady. I believe she could help you." The kobold smiles,
"Thank you so much, Kobold Si-," you look at the Kobold who now looks like a human. He was still tall, however, he was more human than a creature.
"My name is Taehyun, a great friend of your great-grandfather. I'm glad he found a loved one and had a family. I'm hopeful you will continue this fairy tale for him." Taehyun smiles before he jogs forward you and Soobin.
"Now end this fairy tale. Good luck," you nod and hold Soobin's hand. You both bid them a goodbye before they both walk to where the boat is. Suspicions arise when you saw the man on the captain's seat.
"G'day~ I'm Jake! You're headed to that island, I believe?" He points his finger at the island across from you. The island has a cottage on it, but not that clear for both of them to see.
"If that's where the said ancient lady lives, then yes, that is where we are headed." Soobin says, and the man nods before he starts the engine of the boat. Soon enough, the boat moves at a rapid speed.
The clear blue sky was replaced with a dark cloudy one. The waves were getting larger, and the boat was unstable. Luckily for them, Jake was quick enough, and they made it to the island safely.
"Have a safe trip! Don't danger yourselves in that cottage! A young man went inside and never came out on the other side." Jake says as he watches you and Soobin get off the boat.
"Thank you, sir. Let's get going, y/n. I doubt this is the end," Soobin turns his head at the girl. You bobbed your head as you both entered the cottage.
The cottage was small, however, when they went inside, there were four doors. Each one made from different wood. Just 4 doors and nothing else.
"Y/n, I think we need to stay together this time," Soobin says as he watches you press your hand against the dark oak door.
"You think so?" You push the door open. Instantly, Soobin runs to your side and intertwines their hands. "Let's take a step together, shall we?" Soobin takes a deep breath and clasped your hand tighter.
You smile and like what you both agreed on; you took a step together.
Once you open your eyes, you were both back in the manor where it all started. However, Soobin was a young boy again.
"What- why am I child again?" Soobin asks, you chuckle, and kneels to pat his head.
"You're so cute, Binnie~," You say to which he smiles widely. He jumps into your arms and hugs you tightly. This reminded you of your youngest brother, the warmth of the little boy made you miss your home.
The door opens after a knock. Soobin breaks the hug as you both turn your heads at the door. The sight of his mother greets you both.
She was wearing a black dress that touches the floor. She looks sad, almost emotionless.
“I see you are handling my son well. Please, get him dressed. It is almost time for my son's funeral,” your eyes widen. You turn your head to look at Soobin.
His eyes of glee replaced with sadness when he remembered this dreadful memory of his.
"Of course, m'lady. We'll be ready in 30 minutes," His mother leaves the room and closes the door. You embraced Soobin once more, the boy completely melting because of your warmth.
"It may be just a memory and we're re-living it now, but I guarantee you, we'll leave this memory together. Let's get you dress, little one," you kiss forehead before standing up.
You went through his closet, pulling out the required attire. You give the boy his clothes and exit the room for the young boy to change.
"Is Soobin getting ready?" A man asks her. He had some of Soobin's features, so she assumed he's the father. "Yes, sir," you say and his father sighs.
"Please, as Soobin's personal maid and his friend, try to cheer him up. Other than you, he is very close with his brother." He says, obviously concerned. He looks like he was about to cry.
You pat his shoulder, "Sir, I ensure you that Soobin will be okay. He is a strong boy, he has gone through enough to prove that. Focus on saying goodbye to your eldest son, peacefully," you smile before you heard the door open.
"I'm done..." Soobin peeks his head out and you smile.
You excused yourself and enter Soobin's room. The boy was sitting down on the bed, "Is there something wrong?"
"I miss my brother and I know this is just a memory. I've accepted his death, so I'm not really sad, but must I re-live this memory again?" Soobin asks to which you didn't answer with words but a hug once more.
"It won't take long, I promise," you muttered and Soobin nods. Soon, you were called and told to get in the car provided. They drove you both to where the funeral is held.
Soobin looks at the familiar casket where the pale and lifeless body of his brother lay.. He walks closer to the casket, his hand in your grasp. He emotionlessly looks at his dead brother.
He was quiet the whole time they were saying their farewells to him. His grip on your hand only became tighter. They stand on the side. His parents were crying for his brother.
"Y/n, I can never see you again after I get back.... right?" Soobin whispers as he looks down. You look down at the young Soobin. You notice the tears falling from his eyes onto the grass.
"I'm more sad saying goodbye to you," Soobin wipes his tears away. You frown and patted his head. You couldn't say anything, you couldn't say you might meet again.
He embraced you once more before you were back to the cottage. Soobin wasn't a young boy, anymore. You turn their heads towards the door they went through, it's gone. Three doors remain.
You wipe his remaining tears away before she stands up. "Come on, let us continue." She smiles and helps Soobin stand up. "Now, let's go through the next door." The next door was made of birch.
Soobin opens the door, and he turns to look at you. He reaches his hand out, making you smile softly. You intertwined your hands and soon; you enter the door together.
You were back to the palace, in the hallway of the dancing statues. Soobin halts his movements once he sees Knight Yeonjun and the marble lady.
You glance at Soobin before at the other two. Yeonjun was holding the marble lady's hand. The lady was smiling and was leaning closer to his lips. It looked like she was about to kiss him.
"And here I thought, I could fall in love with her," Soobin sighs in disbelief. You laugh and shake your head and mentally ask him how he had that thought.
"How can you even fall in love with a marble lady? You just saw her, sing for her, and fall for her." You continue to laugh, Soobin joins you. His grip on your hand became tighter, and he rests his head on your shoulder.
"Heartbreak must really love me. It must love me so much since the marble lady loves the knight and you're going to leave soon," Soobin whispers, you feel guilty.
You bring his hand close to your lips. You place a soft kiss on his knuckles before you pecked his cheek.
"A handsome and kind fellow like you does not deserve heartbreak, Soobin. Maybe, you're just unfortunate." You sweetly smile as Soobin's cheeks flush red.
"Let's go," Soobin coughs, and in a blink of an eye, you were back to the cottage. The door was gone once again. Two doors remain.
You went through the next door, a door made of normal oak wood. You gasp in fear when your eyes land on the fearful sight in front of you both. Soobin was surprised as well, but as soon as he gained his mind back, he stood in front of you. The smell of iron fills the room.
You look around the room while staying close to Soobin. You cover your nose and hold tightly onto Soobin's shirt. "S-Soobin, I think... We're in your family's mausoleum." She stutters,
You shake at the gory sight in front of you. His mother laid dead on the floor. Blood covers her entire body. "We need to get out of here," Soobin kept his arms around you and ran out of the room.
He found the door and immediately went through it. You both returned to the cottage. Both tried to breathe the air with no smell of blood. "That was horrible..."
"One more door..." Soobin helps you get up. You were still shaking. You rest your head on Soobin's chest. As if he read your mind, he lets you stay like that and regain your breathing.
He kept his arms around you before he patted her head twice whilst you finally calm herself. She moves away from him, muttering a 'thank you' to him.
"Thank you, let's go through that door now. It's the last one," you say. Still holding his hand, Soobin nods. Soon, you both went through the door together once more.
However, when they entered the room, it felt like everything was spinning. Everything was getting blurry, and you both felt like you want to throw up. That continued for minutes, but it felt like forever.
Suddenly, someone grabbed your hands and dragged out them of the room. You let out a grunt as you make eye contact with the lady.
"What happened?" You ask softly, the lady helps you sit up. You turn your head to look at Soobin, who has his hands on his head.
"I saved you, but you remember nothing. Now, I want you both to leave this place. You opened all the doors. The island will sink. There is an isthmus outside the island. Use that and leave," The ancient lady drags you out of her cottage.
You wrap Soobin's arm around your shoulder before you cross the Isthmus. However, your strength ran out and you both black out when they made it to the other side of the Isthmus.
Soobin groans in pain as soon as he wakes up. He was warm, too warm to the point he was sweating. He sits up and looks around the place he was in. It was a blacksmith. Two men were forging swords and armor on the side.
One man looks at him and smiles. "Ah, you're awake! Your female friend is still asleep, but would you like some armor?" The brunette one asks him.
"Do not mind him. I'm Beomgyu and this is my brother, Huening Kai. We're forging weapons and armor to battle the three giants living in a stronghold! You could join us," Beomgyu smiles at him.
They confused Soobin: Is this how they treat people who just woke up? He looks around. No sign of you or anything. "Where is the girl?" He asks as Huening Kai points at another door.
"She is still unconscious. You can enter the room but do nothing. I will not hesitate to chop your head off." Huening Kai says as he shows him an axe he forged. Soobin nods and enters the room.
You were still unconscious, like they said. He moves to sit beside you and brushes the hair away from your face. He studied your facial features. What attracted him the most are your eyes and your lips. Soobin holds your hand and kisses it. "Please, wake up soon," He says and the door cracks open.
"Join our fight while she's still asleep. I will give you armor, don't die on her," Beomgyu smiles and Soobin follows him. He didn't even get time to prepare himself.
He just woke up, talked to these two brothers, checked on you, and now he's joined their fight. No time to prepare at all. The fight was going well until other giants ambushed them. Both brothers died and Beomgyu has asked him to tell the girl he loves that he loves her.
Soobin nods and kills all the giants; their blood splattered all over him. He looked like a piece of bloody meat. Everything happened too quick. He couldn't comprehend anything at all.
Soobin returns to their now empty home and sees you. As soon as your eyes landed on him, they grew wide. He was covered with blood, head to toe, as the smell of iron fills the room. He quickly apologizes and head to the bathroom.
After cleaning, Soobin explained everything to the worried you. You sighed in relief. He survived and embraced the tall male. He's now the hero of the kingdom he just saved.
"Soobin, we need to journey again. I'm sorry I was unconscious for a while," you whisper. Soobin chuckled and wrapped his arms around your waist. He pulled you closer to him.
His eyes staring directly at hers as his heart beats quicker. He leans closer and pecks her lips, which surprises her. He leans back and examined your reaction. You were surprised but definitely not disappointed.
You leaned over and closed the distance between you both. Your arms around his neck whilst he placed you on the table. Your lips connected and warmth fills the cold room. The kiss felt euphoric for both of you.
Soobin breaks the heated kiss and rests his chin on top of your head.
"It's alright, but we need to find the woman one brother loved. We need to tell her how he felt about her," Soobin says and changed his clothes into lighter ones. You flushed red and turn around.
"Must you really change in front of me!? How did you get so confident?" You pout, your cheeks grew warmer. Soobin finishes changing his clothes and wrapped his arms around your waist once more.
"I am now a hero of a kingdom I saved. I must have confident to be a great hero. Also, I just kissed the girl I fell in love with... I feel really confident," Soobin says. You pouted and turned around to face him.
You pecked his lips before you start your next journey. It felt like it has been months since you entered this world. How much longer do they have to journey for to return home?
"Let's hurry, we must race the night." Soobin, his facial features stand out more when his hair is brushed back. You froze on your spot when Soobin wrapped his cloak around your shoulder.
They both left the kingdom's grounds. Both staying close with each other as they walked through the forest. Suddenly, your kiss popped inside into your head.
Your first kiss... taken by a man whom you met in a storybook.
You dreamy sigh, you noticed the sun was setting. However, your eyes grew wide in surprised when you saw Soobin's shadow moving. It looked like it was about to hit him with something.
"Soobin, watch out!"
Soobin wakes up in a cell. His eyes go wide when he sees you unconsciously laid beside him. “Y/n! Y/n, please wake up!” He rests your head on his lap. He flinched his head to the side when he heard something fall from the other side of the call.
“You fool! I will get you!” Soobin enrages when he saw his shadow. It looked like it was laughing at him. He fights the tears that threatened to fall and face you once more.
"Please, wake up. You don't know how much you mean to me right now. I have fallen, fallen deeply in love with you, y/n. Please, wake up, my love," Soobin says as he pecks your lips once more.
Days have passed, Soobin has refused to eat anything his shadow has offered him. You remained unconscious, which worried him. However, he knows you will wake up; you are still breathing, after all.
Suddenly, you let out a loud cough, and Soobin pull immediately pulled you closer to him. "Y/n! Thank goodness!" He hugs you tightly as you questioned the unknown events.
"We will find out way out, I promise," Soobin clasps her hand.
"Bin, we're in a cell underground... How can we escape?" She mutters,
"I do not know, but we will find a way-," Soobin was cut off by a song. A lady was singing a song, although they don't know where the lady is coming from. Suddenly, the cell broke and Soobin could shield you from the metal pieces.
"Are you okay?" You ask Soobin, who nodded. Immediately, you get out of the cell and ran upstairs. The song still being sung, and it only stopped when they made it far away from the underground.
"Her voice sounded like the fairy I met before entering fairyland," you stated. Your hand supported the side of your forehead.
"Ah, really?" You nod at Soobin's word. You both continued to walk through the depth of the forest. Soobin was still holding her hand, but you felt safe with him.
You wished you could stay longer with him, however, your life outside of the book stopped you. You have a family to take care of, a world to go back to. You can't stay and low-key dreading for this book to end.
You both stopped once you heard the rustling of leaves on your side. Soobin stood in front of you, ready to fight whatever was coming, until Knight Yeonjun appears with his white horse.
"Ah! Soobin and y/n! Nice to see you again, all safe and sound!" He says and looks at you. A softer smile appears on his lips as he reaches out a sheathed sword to Soobin. The action confused Soobin.
"Become my squire, Soobin! We shall return to my kingdom soon, and I can guarantee you and y/n safety." Yeonjun spat and Soobin looks at you for permission, once you nod your head, he accepts the offer.
He lets go of your hand to take the heavy sword from Yeonjun. Soobin thanks Yeonjun and smiles at y/n, who thanked him as well.
You both follow Yeonjun, talking a little with the knight. Soobin smiles widely whenever he sees you smile. His smile disappeared when his mind reminded him you have to leave soon. Soobin halted his steps when he heard voices. He stood in front of you while Yeonjun pulled out his sword to fight whoever was there.
Suddenly, he was hit on the head causing him to pass out.
A day later, Soobin wakes up in an unknown room once again. The room was dark, the only light source was the candle on the side. He looks around for y/n, only to realize you aren't on his side. He gets off whatever he was lying on and rushed out of the building.
Suddenly, he sees 5 men around a platform. One of them looks at Soobin, a smirk on his lips, and his platinum blonde hair almost covers his eye. Another boy looks at him, he has blonde hair with yellow highlights.
"Sleeping beauty has woken up! How was your sleep? I'm certain you are looking for the girl," the platinum blond says. Soobin sees the platform behind them, his eyes widen when he saw you seated on the platform. You weren't unconscious, but it looked like you weren’t yourself.
Your gaze stayed on the ground and your eye colors looked pale. That's when Soobin felt furious. He rushes towards them but was stopped by another one of them.
"Let go of me!" He kicks the guy off and grabs the idol beside you.
"Don't let him-!" Soobin smashed the idol on the ground. He pulls you closer to him and sees a horrendous monster coming out of the shattered idol. Soobin grabbed the sword from the side and gently placed you down.
"Y/n! If I'm going to die here, please... at least wake up!" Soobin stood still when he felt the monster's arm inserted inside of him. He snickers when he saw the sword in the monster's chest.
"Farewell, my love... I hope you get back home safely."
Soobin gasped before he jolted up from his bed. He looks around the spacious room. Was it all a dream? Why is he suddenly back in his room after death? He hears the door open and sees his mother enter the room.
She runs towards Shotaro and embraces him immediately. Tears stream down her eyes as she kisses her son's forehead. The warmth of her son she missed dearly. A sense of relief fills the hole in her heart.
"I'm so happy you're back... you've been gone for 21 days!" Her mother cries and Soobin felt his heart stop. Soobin felt like he spent years in fairyland... Why did it seem like his long journey lasted for years then?
He looks out of his window, his head full of thoughts of you. He smiles softly and hugs his mother tightly. All he hopes for is that you are safe and are in another world you need to complete.
You were back in the mysterious room. You receive another holographic card which says; 'Chapter two'. She turns it around and sees the title of the next fairytale.
Suddenly, you were in a normal room. The paper appeared in front of you as it wrote it own's words.
"Chapter two; The Little Mermaid."

A walk in the woods
Reader x Ouat Peter Pan
TW: none
____________________________________________
One spring evening in Neverland, Peter and I were walking through the woods. I was aimlessly following him as he babbled on about Felix and another lost boy not getting along. I was a whole other world away thinking about my future and what is to come.
“So that’s when I said, yeah of course you can rip his heart out” Peter says and laughs.
“Mmhmm yeah”
“Y/n, you’re not even listening”, Peter complains.
“What? Oh I’m sorry Peter, I just have a lot on my mind right now” I sighed.
His brows furrowed and his deep green eyes begin to fill with concern.
We walk in silence, but I can see in the corner of my eye his dirty blonde hair shift in my direction constantly in curiosity. I glance over at the magical boy beside me and he has the biggest smirk on his face. He disappears and reappears in front me of floating on his side smirking.
“Why so glum?”, he asks.
“Have a sugar plum!” he says with the biggest grin on his face.
He pulls a sparkling purple plum from behind him and holds it right in front of my face.
I want to give him props for being adorable, but I cannot get over my looming anxiety.
“Not now Peter”, I say as I wave hand at him.
His smile drops. He reappears by a nearby rock and slowly floats down until he is sitting crossed legged. I sit down on a nearby stump to think. We both have our faces resting in our hands with furrowed brows.
What I’m I going to do with my life after I graduate high school?! I don’t know what I want in life and I certainly have no clue as to what college I want to go to. All I know is that I would rather be running around the forest with a special boy, than working at a 9 to 5 job for the rest of my life. Decisions....decisions..
As for Peter, he was racking his brain for ideas to try to get y/n to cheer up. He scratches his head. He tosses an apple in the air for a few minutes until he comes up with the most brilliant idea.
“Y/n, come here”, Peter insists.
You arise from your stump and come towards Peter’s thinking rock. He holds out his hand for you and asks, “Dance with me?”. You’re hesitant at first because how can he want to dance with you when you have your life to figure out in a matter of days. Reluctantly, you take his strong hand in yours and he lifts you upon the rock with him. “This rock is kinda small for dancing, don’t you think Pan?”, you question. “Good thing I can do this”, he says as you two lift up into the air. Caught off guard, you are startled and hold on to him. Your head placed on his chest and squeezing his hands tight. He laughs and says, “Hey, it’s alright I got you.” You guys glide through the air effortlessly, swaying back and forth. “No music?”, you say sarcastically. Your eyes lock and he brings his finger to his mouth while saying, “Shhh... listen.” Instantly, you hear faint humming coming from the hundreds of small fairies floating around you. The whooshing of evergreen trees and the crashing of ocean waves from the beaches fill your every sense of being. Your worries begin to wash away as you lay your head on Peter’s chest. The feeling is ethereal.
As the sun begins to set on this lovely spring day. The two of you floated down on a big tree branch that overlooks all of Neverland. You haven’t seen the island from this angle before. You can see every mountain, river, tree, fairy and lost boy from this point. The island was buzzing and alive with a beautiful spirit. Peter’s spirit. He is Neverland.
You and Peter sit in silence. Admiring the view and each other’s company. “Do you know why I asked you to dance?”, Peter asked. You shook your head no. His eyes glance over at you and then back at the scenery. “When I would come to your window when you were younger, you would always be dancing. Whether it would be by yourself, with your dad, your friends or even your stuffed animals. You were always dancing, as if you had no care in a world where nothing dares to slow down. I admired your spirit. That’s why I choose you to come to Neverland.” Nostalgia glimmers in his eyes.
“Well, I don’t really dance anymore now”, you replied with a sigh. You look down at your dangling feet and see all the fairies twinkling below. You take a deep breath and say, “It’s just college and graduating is all so scary.” Peter raises an eyebrow and waits for you to speak. “Growing up is scary”, you mumble. He laughs, “Trust me, I know how you feel y/n. But this “college” thing you keep mentioning seems as if it is a huge burden on you”, he states. “Yeah this “college” thing is basically the entrance into a adulthood”, you replied. He scoots closer to you and nudges your shoulder. Peter remarks,“Yuck, who would want to become an adult?”. You smirk at him and say, “Well Peter Pan, not everybody can be a king of their own island and never grow up.” The both of you laugh in harmony as silence slowly falls between you two. “I mean I can stay her with you and tell my dad that I am studying abroad in Europe”, you say smiling to yourself about what a silly idea that is. “I do not know of Europe, but I can tell you that Neverland is the best you will ever get. Come study Neverland. I don’t think anyone has ever written a book about this place before”, Peter states while tapping his chin.
If only he knew...
Peter notices your silence and realizes that his sarcastic approach to your problems is definitely not helping. Your head hangs and looks below at your dangling feet. The boy clad in all green sits closer to you, until you are hip and hip. You feel his calloused hand lift up your chin to look at his face. You feel his hot breath on your lips. His eyes are filled with swirling pools of green and specks of gold in-between. His aura was enchanting and mesmerizing. You felt as if you were the only two living beings on the island. “Peter...”, you say softly. “Come and stay in Neverland”, he pauses. The proximity between each other begins to close before he says, “Come and stay with me.”
If only it were that easy…
You wake up startled in your dark bedroom.
Sweat dripping down your forehead. You reach up to touch your lips and feel a slight tingle. You look outside your window to hear the bustling city. The twinkling lights of the buildings remind you of the hundreds of fairy lights that were underneath your feet not even seconds ago. You lay back down in your bed as your mind is swirling about the captivating boy that has your heart.
“Come and stay with me”, repeats in your head.
Pretty, pretty words Peter Pan.

✧ Bang Chan ⇢ STAY Island ✧
Passport Title ⇢ Crisp Ringleader
Okay family
As our ENFJ king Chan would totally have a island that revolved around the others
Sure he’d have his own space too
But he’d def be one to put up lots of fun camping space and interactive inventions
A cute little barbecue grill on the beach with a wooden table and log benches 🥺🥺 and a picnic area too
I feel like he’d also go out of his way to breed black roses but that may just be me 😂🤷🏻♀️
Black and white flowers everywhere, and maybe some red roses too?
He’d also be a generous donator and frequently visit the others to see if anyone needed help with anything
Just stopping by to check in and drop off some hardwood, or iron, maybe even gold
...That’s a big maybe on the gold cause we all know that stuff ain’t common and if you want Marshal on your island you better have some handy
In addition to this, I think that the generosity would only go so far and he’d be quite the tease too
Running around left and right ratting the others out during pranks and “borrowing” things from the others
“where’d my recipe for gold armor go???”
🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️ “idk bro I think I saw Minho running off with it?”
For villagers, he’d have a plethora of the animal kingdom on his island
Anyone is welcome
You get what you get and you don’t throw a fit 🥴
He’d def have mentions of Stay on his island too
And the guys, his squad
A Stay flag and Stray Kids written in the sand somewhere
Maybe vice versa
His character would likely be of similar resemblance but I can totally see him playing with the fun hair colors and face paint
His wardrobe would consist of similar attire too: black, white, caps, hoodies, and chains
Y’all AC fans know that one punk outfit with the chains across the bodice? He’d own that
His home is a toss up: on one hand it could be very chill and cozy, but on another I’m seeing workout gear in one corner and iron tables and a TV and radio going, maybe (definitely) a music studio setup (similar to Weber’s home but more hardcore LMAO)
All in all, I think Chan would be a chill/causal player that would be happy to help his friends and community while also playing hard ball once in a while just to mess with everyone 😂♥️

✧ Lee Minho ⇢ Soodori Island ✧
Passport Title ⇢ Total Genius
Soodori is a combination of Minho’s cats
Your boy Minho couldn’t resist the ingenious idea
He’d pondered for the longest time which of his precious babies was going to be awarded the title of his island; an impossible decision
Then along comes our creative leader, “why don’t you just use all three?”
‼️‼️‼️
Genius!1!1!!1!1 😩✨
On Soodori, you bet all the villagers are cats; if you don’t have pointy ears and a swishing tail, Access Denied 🙅🏻♀️
This means you, Han
Villagers included would consist of Raymond, who may or may not be an island celebrity
And let’s not forget Queen Ankha
But to Minho, all his cat citizens are equally loved and cherished as a valid part of the community
His whole aesthetic would be cats too
That includes a cat cafe
His flag would probably be a paw print 🐾 or his cat’s names, maybe a cute scribbling of their faces
And if you disrespected that, there’d be blood to pay
I can see his character closely resembling him as well, with a little paw print on his cheek? Maybe some whiskers?
He’d thoroughly enjoy visiting the others islands “if he absolutely had to”
Swipe some goods
And bundle them up to go on the plane out ✈️
For the most part, I see him being more of a hermit on his island that only heads out On Demand
Even then, it’s kind of a toss up: good luck getting him to leave his children behind
If you’re nice to him, he MIGHT let you come and view the splendor...m a y b e
But you better not touch or take anything 🗿🔥
Shoot, when it came to special visitors, like Redd or K.K., he’d probably try chasing them off
Put those tools to use
There’s more than one way to skin a cat
(Don’t tell him I said that tho 👀💧)

✧ Seo Changbin ⇢ DARK Island ✧
Passport Title ⇢ Music-Loving Loner
Dark, dark, dark
We all done knew, didn’t we?
Changbin is the KING of darkness
So it goes without saying that his whole island would radiate the stuff, too
It may seem depressing and a little emo at first, but eventually the concept comes off being pretty cool
...In an angsty, Evanescence sort of way
He’d probably be very lost on how to play at first...at first
He’s got Felix and Chan to help him tho, so he’d be breeding black flowers before you know it
Maybe a little gray and navy blue tones to break up the solidarity somewhere
I’m seeing a kind of night sky aesthetic, maybe some astrology furniture???
Look out, Celeste
She’s gonna be running to Big Brother Blathers saying some scary short guy is following her around the woods
Poor Binnie just wants a Starry Sky wall...until he sees how bright it actually is
Then it’s 💯 a fat pass
Binnie would kindly welcome all sorts of villagers while being minorly selective
After all, we can’t break the darkness with some cheery-idol-wannabe villager, or some Judy the anime bear
I can say with utmost certainty at 95% that his whole wardrobe would be black caps and hoodies
Maybe a plain black tee
Some black pants
And
White or black sneakers 🥴✨
I think he would be pretty intent on building up his island...in particular, collecting all the artifacts and critters for the museum
He’d work hard but not go crazy or stress about it and still take lots of time to just chill in his deep dark vibes
Maybe get out once in a while to visit Felix and learn a thing or two
Overall, we see through your front, Bin; you may have a dark vibe but you’re really just a small big softie ☺️

✧ Hwang Hyunjin ⇢ Kkami Island ✧
Passport Title ⇢ Soothing Season
Welcome to Kkami Island, which was almost named something else aesthetically cute like Honeycomb or Applepuff
However, like Minho, Hyun simply couldn’t resist a chance to use his precious baby’s name
On Kkami, life is pretty chill: EXCEPT WHEN ITS SERIOUS 🔥
That’s right folks
This boy may have some vibing days and go at his own pace
But don’t be fooled: he plays to win
Plant those money trees
Enter those QR codes
Carve out those pathways
Where is Blathers we have a donation 😤😤
Hyunjin would be a steady-paced worker bee 🐝
He’d likely be selective of his villagers and go for cute ones
Possibly top to secondary tier
When it came to games and get togethers, you’d likely find him chasing another member with a net or an axe, in most cases Jisung
“qUiT LEaViNG TrASh oN mY iSLaNd!!1!1!1!” 💢
“DROP THAT DIY!1!1!1!!1”
Let’s see
His whole island aesthetic would be cute and peaceful:
Plants, terrariums, soft sunlight...
There’d be so many flowers!!! Hyunjin would have a whole colorful flower field 🥰🌸
White and wooden furniture in and around the home
An adorable tea and snack time plaza too! And a library!!! 📖✨
Very cozy and sweet ♥️
Though, shoot, if he had the energy, this guy may just build himself a palace... 🏰
Regardless, just look for the boy with the staple headband and likely some face paint to boot

✧ Han Jisung ⇢ Swag HOT Island ✧
Passport Title ⇢ Trendy Supreme Being
(Edit: Minho convinced Felix to hack his account and changed this to Untossable Trash)
Ohhh boy
I bet y’all were waiting patiently for this one
Or maybe you jumped right to it
Either way here we go:
Han Jisung would be the king of the trash heap
And by that I mean this guy would save up all his bells and buy himself a crown 👑 where he’d sit atop a throne of garbage
BECAUSE THERE WOULD BE TRASH EVERYWHERE SIS 😩😩
This guy would be yeeting furniture and garbage all over the place
...Okay maybe that was a bit overdramatic
Maybe not EVERYWHERE...
......
...It’d be pretty messy tho
He’d probs have traps set up too
You step off the plane and get catapulted into the ocean, if that were a thing
You’d have to navigate and hop around discarded junk for sure
He’d have clothes here, a fan there, a...urinal...on the beach???
.........o k a y ._.💧
Han Jisung wouldn’t be all that competitive when it came to gathering every fruit or collecting all the fish
He doesn’t have the patience for that
He needs to run around and be free, letting his mind wander while wrecking havoc for everyone else; which is also Minnie’s job but we’ll get to that later
For villagers, he’d have at least one squirrel or two (Marshal?! :D) but I’m not so sure it’d really matter...all that much?
I’m not sure he’d even want many villagers at all
He’d be spending most of his time crashing other member’s islands and leaving little surprises like a useless DIY they already have or a fake painting he got roped into buying bc he was too lazy to check if it was genuine =_=
Everyone got sick of it pretty quickly but no one like Minho or Hyunjin; he’s permanently banned from those two locations and Jeongin’s considering adding him to the list next
Despite there being so much junk, his house would have an almost decent vibe: lots of instruments and fun gear, along with some random clothes, a lava lamp, and...another urinal 🗿💧
Seriously, someone get this boy a closet and some coaching in organization
Chan and Changbin are working on hiring Minnie but it’s not going too well; for one he charges too much
Maybe you can talk some sense into him...

✧ Lee Felix ⇢ YEET Island ✧
Passport Title ⇢ Festive Chum
Okay y’all
Felix
Would be
THE KING
OF ANIMAL CROSSING
THIS BOY WOULD HAVE
ALL THE FRUITS!!! 🍎🍐🍊🍒🍑🥥
ALL THE FLOWERS!!!🌷🌹🌺🌸🌼🌻
I MEAN EVERY COLOR OF EVERY COMBINATION
A COMPLETED MUSEUM 🖼 🐜 🐠
I MEAN BEFORE ART WAS ADDED, HE HAD EVERYTHING RARING TO GO
NINTENDO WAS LIKE “wtf?!”
YEAH SIS, HE’S THAT GOOD
Boy would have a five star island all sorted into perfectly measured categories
An amusement park, a picnic area, a freaking ranch probably 🐮
Some awesome neighborhood for his tier one villagers with a YMCA down the street
A fancy one at that
I mean this boy would have it all
Expect a competitive softie that really just wants to have fun but like
He’s gonna win too lmao
He’s got his Nook Miles program all maxed out
When playing with the others, he comes up with really creative solutions when faced with a crisis
That’s because this smart cookie knows the ins and outs of the game
There was one time where he fenced Jisung in like the creepy Easter bunny and left him for ded oop
That was a bad day for Jisung and a hilarious day for everyone else
He felt bad about it but he also wanted that Subway gift card 🤷🏻♀️
Each day is a new hair color for Felix
Sometimes every few days or a week
He sometimes likes to synchronize it with his current hair color but
Experimenting is also fun
Face paint too! 🌈 He chooses a warpaint print he found on Pinterest, for days when the gang gets together for a game of tag or bug catching contests
Even if he doesn’t win, Felix always makes it into the Top 3
And he has a lot of fun doing so! 😊
He’s just one heck of a gamer is all
And his whole aesthetic shines brighter than the sun T-T ☀️

✧ Kim Seungmin ⇢ Seungmin’s Island ✧
Passport Title ⇢ Radiant Boy
Like Felix, Seungmin would be an ace at AC
He wouldn’t get everything right off the bat
But he’d put in a logical tried-and-true effort, and once he got the ropes and found his groove, my oh my
This boy would have it all
Sophistication ✨
Class ✨✨
Flair ✨✨✨
He’s got a plethora of fruit and stylish attire too
And his aesthetic is so simple but chic
He’s got this whole clean and polished vibe
Lots of artwork and creativity
He’s even got traps that look like fancy furniture
Those are mainly for Han Jisung tho
That oughta teach him to quit nosing around and taking his DIYs <_<
One time he tried stealing a few apples for Swag HOT Island
Didn’t go well sis...
He made it to just outside the pier before getting lost in the hedge maze by Cafe Seungmin
After that Seungmin closed him into a corner as punishment and wouldn’t let him out until he dropped the Apple
But Jisung was feeling pretty prideful that day so he ate it instead 🗿💧
Anyway
This guy would def make a character that looks just like him!
Would he try new hair colors and face paint? ...Maybe
It seems like a sorta-Seungmin thing to do
Seungmin would wanna be the best of the best while still staying true to himself, so you’ll likely see tier one and two villagers that he particularly fancies
Fancy you, fancy me 🥳✨💃🏻🎶
He’d also be one to go around admiring the chaos from the background while occasionally becoming the chaos
Kinda like the Cheshire Cat 😅
When challenging the others to an art contest (who could buy the most expensive artifact from Redd without using the internet) he switched some of the other members paintings while they were distracted by a meteor shower
“Look, a shooting star! And another one!”
“Make a wish.”
“How do I do that?!”
“Tilt your camera towards the sky and press A.”
“I’ve got my camera app open and it’s just taking photos???”
“Not you CAMERA camera—“
“Hey! Chan hyung, Minho just stole my star!!!”
“I didn’t see your NAME on it...”
“Don’t fight, you can each have half!”
“That’s not how it works at all...”
...Anyway
It was pretty comical until Changbin had to say something, about the art that is
Then Minnie had to bounce before the angry shovels and nets caught up to him
“Hey!!! Why is my painting on Minho’s side???”
“Why is everyone attacking me???”
“Oh, Hyunjin has my painting...”
“I do not! ...Oh hey I do? Why’d you put it over here?”
“I DIDN’T!”
👀👀👀👀👀👀👀
...
🛫 🏃🏻♀️💨
Poor Minnie just wanted to have some fun amongst the confusion 😔
But
When it gets right down to it, you better believe this boy would be an aesthetic and skillful player ✨

✧ Yang Jeongin ⇢ Go Away Island ✧
Passport Title ⇢ Mistakingly Caught Son
Go Away Island means just what the title intends: go away :)
Initially, Jeongin was prepared for what he senior members would do
He knew there would be much anticipation to visit the 막내’s island and drive him crazy
Sometimes, he doesn’t mind it
But others he just wants to be left alone and do his own thing
When he started the game, it was one of those days
So he wanted to make the message clear 😤😤
Also, Don’t Bother Me seemed to be too long 🤷🏻♀️
Go Away was straight to the point ;D
Anyhoo
On Go Away, you’ll encounter lots of cute characters 💓
Innie has a very cute and true-to-himself aesthetic
He doesn’t understand much of the mechanics but he’s working on it okay?
And he’s getting better every day!
Okay, so like, sometimes he’ll allow Chan to come over and help
Or Felix or maybe Seungmin if he promises to be genuine and behave
But like
The rest of the members are semi-banned
Hyunjin gets a pass if he whines enough
Or he’ll come up with a crafty excuse to come over
“Innie, look! I got peaches on my island! Don’t you want one? They’re cute like you! 😩❣️”
...He could do without that last embarrassing remark but okay sure
He really did want those peaches for his picnic garden 😔✊🏻
In terms of hair color? We’re on a rotation like Felix
We’re trying lots of hair colors
And a few aesthetic designs, too!
Jeongin is very resourceful when it comes to QR codes, something Felix and Seungmin taught him
He uses them to set flowers and stones pathways everywhere
And an especially prominent one leading to the door 👉🏻🚪

Stray Kids Playing Minecraft~
A/n: I hope you all enjoy, and if you liked, please leave a like! 💖💖💖💖
Tags: @straysrachaa @lordseochangbin @channiesmixtape @starryseung @felixsanxchatbot @jisungsjheekies @mrbangchannie
Chan
- doesn't know almost anything about Minecraft the first time around but he plays with you to make you happy
- you have to baby him for a while
- BUT THEN!
- He goes and learns about the game in his free time
- and then he pleasantly surprises you now that you he doesn't suck anymore
- and most peculiar of all
- he got really interested in redstone
- boi can make some INVENTIONS
- His house is like, fully automated - farm and all
- it makes you jealous but also very proud
- a pretty big pacifist
- shears, veggies and bread is all he needs
- he still big soft baby but he smart baby now
- also, would totally run around with a pumpkin on his head if you could still wear them in the latest version
Lee Know
- would kill everything that moves
- would hoard all the meat and refuse to give you any
- deforestation at its finest
- king of surplus
- playing with him is actually playing by yourself cuz he goes off on his own
- builds himself a goddamn empire!
- and no one knows where it is
- if he catches you inside his house without permission: shoot first, ask questions never
- mobs fear him, not the other way around
- will give you items cuz you're a charity cause
- actually shares when you both go mining though
- but let's face it, he's just OP
- would try to get all the cats
- totally to chase away creepers
- not because he wants an army of them or anything
- gets annoyed that he has to constantly fish because the cats keep taking them but won't be tamed by him
- he totally did not search for mine shafts just for name tags to name his cats
- DO NOT HURT HIS CATS
- or he'd cancel you in-game and irl too
Changbin
- would be super excited to play Minecraft with his friends
- he would be the first on the server to scout out the land and get resources
- however, no one warned him about night fall
- and all the creepy, scary things that spawned
- changbin lives in the ground now
- he dug a hole at the base of the mountain to take refuge during the night and never looked back
- normal person? No way! He was a mole now!
- the best at mining and interior rock design
- he would only resurface to seek out food and animals
- it was Changbin who stole all the cows and sheep, so you couldn't find them for felix
- he would have three large pins just next to his mountain
- lots of cows, rainbow sheep and pigs with saddles
- " uh...so I found these pins of animals and like...no house?"
- "What?"
- "I think the magical Minecraft fairy spawned it into the world?"
- "It's super weird. But I'm gonna kill some cows for their leather"
- "DON'T YOU TOUCH MY COWS!"
- and to your shock, a secret door in the mountain opens and Changbin comes running out
- the door made courtesy of Chan
- "He's got a diamond sword already?!?"
- it's the last thing you scream as he kills you for being near his cows
- and after a round of feeding and breeding, he disappears back into his hole
Hyunjin
- would only be about building
- he would be the first one to have a diamond pickaxe just so he could mine cobblestone faster
- would also get efficiency V just so he could speed run through the mines
- would wander through different biomes for days to collect clay so he could make concrete
- and while you're busy actually playing the game, he would beg for you to pick flowers on your trip so he can dye the concrete different colors
- his first house would be a mansion
- but he would give up half way because he kept falling off the roof and dying
- would forget he is actually playing the game and would get scared when night falls and mobs start spawning in his unlit house
- not like you didn't tell him countless times to put down torches
- but he kept saying they ruined his aesthetic
- but now he keeps dying because mobs are literally waiting at his spawn point, killing him over and over and over again
- and he begs you to set the time to day and kill the mobs for him
- but you just laugh uncontrollably at him because karma really is a bitch
- but in the end, he ends up making an entire city, and invites the others to come and play on the server.
Jisung
- would be just like Chan
- a pure ass baby when it comes to playing minecraft, but super eager to play the game
- his first spawn would be in the middle of the night (because of server)
- and you would try to tell him to not leave the safety of spawn, but he just wouldn't listen
- "Listen, Y/n, I know what I'm doing! I'm a pro at this!"
- and he would run confidently into the night, like the actual idiot that he is
- he wouldn't get too far before he was attacked by all the mobs and got killed
- "Well that was just rude!"
- "Oh my god Jisung, I told you not to do it."
- "Well how was I supposed to know they were going to kill me?!"
- and you can only shake your head at his stupidity
- he would eventually wait until daytime, but unfortunately all of his items would be lost due to despawning
- it's not like either one of you were equipped to go and retrieve his items
- zombies sucked man! And skeletons are the worst!
- but with a new day comes a new adventure and you both head out to find a place to call home
- Jisung would run the entire way, even though he had no food to keep his hunger up
- he also wouldn't be paying attention to where he was going and would fall into a hole
- a very BIG hole
- 'J.One fell from a high place'
- "Really Jisung?"
- "I couldn't see it!"
- playing with Jisung would be a very challenging task, because he would never learn
- because by the time he had diamond armor and ready to fight the wither, he would have fallen from fifteen cliffs, twenty holes in caves and three ravines
- "Jisung if you die one more time I swear to god!"
- 'J.One fell from a high place'
- "That's it! I quit!"
Felix
- You would be so hyped to play with Felix
- You've seen him play other games, so you knew he'd be great at minecraft
- Getting the server had been his idea, the easiest way everyone could play together
- First day of spawn, Felix would already be listing off the things that you would need to accomplish
- wood, cobblestone, iron, seeds, sheep
- it was all just so overwhelming
- by the time you make your first complete set of wooden tools, felix would have iron tools already
- he'd been ten feet underground, digging for more resources while tasking you to find the animals for food, wool and feathers
- easier said then done
- and when he resurfaces and you don't have animals, he would simply sigh and go do it himself
- which would upset you because you would spend hours looking for just one god damn cow
- meanwhile, Felix would take five steps in one direction and come across hundreds of cows!!!
- WHERE DID ALL THESE COWS COME FROM?!?!?
- he'd travel the whole map just to find a jungle to get coco beans
- seriously though, how did he find the fucking jungle?
- it like doesn't exist
- except it does and Minho most likely lives there with all his cats
- Also, there's pandas!!!!!
- Felix would try and tame a panda, even though it's not possible
- When not trying to show off, Felix would be in his crappy little hut (cause hyunjin was still making the city), making cookies and cakes because why wouldn't he?
- at least he shares, unlike someone.....
- Felix would be absolutely unstoppable at the game, while you struggle to get to iron level armor (while trying to keep Jisung alive)
- Felix would have just a big ego
- it's okay though. One strike from Seungmin's sword and he'd be put back into his place
- Revenge is a dish best served Seungmin.
Seungmin
- the worst of the worst
- he would be the one to pretend to not know the game
- but really, he would be a minecraft expert
- read: troll
- every chance he would get, Seungmin would try to do something to ruin your day
- don't ever go mining with him. EVER!
- he would be the one to lead over a creeper to you in a ravine while you're trying to mine diamonds, right next to a lava pool
- the first one to explode wouldn't do any damage, thankfully
- "Don't you dare bring a creeper over here!"
- "I wouldn't."
- somehow, you wouldn't be convinced
- but you decided to trust him
- y/n clown
- you're just mining away at the diamond when a big explosion happens
- and you notice two things
- 1. the diamonds and the surrounding area were blown up
- 2. you were now in the pool of lava, dying
- meanwhile, Seungmin was running away, cackling like the evil little shit that he was
- the holy terror, that's what they would call him
- he would purposefully go out and fight creepers just to gather their gunpowder so he could make dynamite
- no one was safe from him
- except Minho
- because no one knew where he was
I.N.
- Jeongin would spend at least two days researching things for the game before actually playing
- he would want to have some knowledge before walking into hell that was the Stray Kids server
- it's okay though, because everyone loves Jeongin
- really, he wouldn't need to do a thing
- diamond armor, enchanted? check
- enchanted weapons? check
- his own cat and dog? double check
- everyone would do anything for this baby
- but Jeongin isn't one to mooch *coughJisungcough*
- even with all his presents, he would still start with the basics of punching a tree
- while others have found this skills in cooking, mining, falling into holes, redstone and building
- jeongin would be more interested in potions and enchanting
- YOU'RE A WIZARD INNIE!
- Jeongin would quickly master potion brewing
- even if it meant battling the scary blazes in the nether
- huh, so that's why Changbin was screaming so much
- he would be hired by Minho to make him potions of breathing so he could go claim an ocean monument
- Jeongin would only do it if he could help
- surprisingly Minho agrees and for the first time in 84 years, everyone gets to see Minho's character

「 Bae Jisu and Lee Felix used to be the best of friends. But one incident at the party, made Jisu change and hate Felix. Couple of years later, they run into each other again. Will Jisu stop hating Felix, or will be friends again or more than friends? 」
》 Warning: toxic/abusive relationships, sexual themes, cursing, mentions of a traumatizing event.
》 Genre: fluff and angst
A/N: wow it’s been awhile since I’ve updated this!
Jisu woke up to Felix snuggling into her. She looked around, she wasn’t at home, she was at Felix’s. She checked her phone for a missed call or a message from Hyunbin, but her phone was empty.
Jisu tried to get out of bed, but she woke up Felix instead.
“Hmm. What time is it?” He asked as he stretched his arms and legs.
“It’s like 6:45 in the morning why?”
“Get ready I want to talk to Jihyun before we get to class” he said as he rose up.
“But I didn’t bring any of my clothes with me and my backpack is back at Hyunbin’s place” she said as she played with her fingers.
“Well I’ll drive you there so you can collect your backpack. And after class we’re getting your stuf too. Okay?” He asked as she nodded.
Felix got out of bed and head towards his room. Before he left, he turned to Jisu and smiled. Jisu stood up and went towards the closet. She opened the doors and saw some of Felix’s sisters clothes in there.
Satisfied by what she picked out. Jisu walked out the room. She looked around, it must be hard for Felix to be away from his family that is in Australia.
“No wonder you go every break we have for school...” she mumbled quietly.
“Go where?” Felix deep voice boomed as it caught Jisu’s train of thought.
“To Australia.”
“Yeah” he said quietly. “Once we finished college, I was planning on moving back there.”
Jisu was sad over the news, she has now forgave him and now they only have about a school year left before he moved back.
“Don’t be sad” he said as he patted her shoulder. “I promise I’ll come and visit when I can!”
Jisu just nodded and then went out the door, Felix following behind her. The car ride to Hyunbin’s place was scary. Jisu didn’t know if he was going to be home or not. But she let that thought slide out because he might just be at Jihyun’s apartment. Felix parked outside the entrance to the apartment complex and unlocked the car doors.
“I’ll be right here when you come right back out” he smiled at her. Jisu unbuckled her seatbelt and walked inside. As Felix watched her go inside, he had an uneasy feeling in his stomach.
She walked inside the apartment, it look the same as last night when she ran out. She walked into the kitchen and saw her backpack in the dining chair where she always leaves it after classes. Jisu grabbed her bag and was about to walk out the door before a string force pushed her into the wall, trapping her with their body.
“You think you can leave me just like that?” A rough voice said. It was Hyunbin’s voice.
“Let me go please” she said as she tried to push him, but he was more stronger than her. “You belong to me!”
Hyunbin started kissing her roughly and tried to take off the sweater she was wearing.
“Hyunbin stop please!” She said as she tried to stop his hands, but he wouldn’t budge. Jisu pleaded in her mind that he would stop, and seconds later she heard a body hit the ground hard.
“You motherfucker” Hyunbin said as he looked up at Felix glaring at him. Felix got on top of him and started punching him.
“Felix stop!” Jisu said as she pulled him away Hyunbin.
“You’ll regret this!” Hyunbin called out as they both walked out the apartment.
Once they were safe insides Felix’s car, they drove to school.
“I saw him entering the lobby and I immdiately got worried and ran out my car. I’m sorry if I wasn’t fast enough” he said.
“It’s fine, you came right in time. Just imagine what would’ve happened if you didn’t see him..” she trailed off. The car ride was silent until they made it on campus.
“Let’s go.”
They both walked onto campus. Felix and Jisu looked inside every classroom for Jihyun but couldn’t find her.
“Let’s just go to the student area. Maybe she’ll be there” Jisu said as he nodded.
“You still seem pretty down from earlier” he said.
“Yeah it’ll be boring without you here. I just forgave and things” she said as she played with her fingers.
“I also notice how you play with your fingers when you like someone” he teased. “You like me don’t you Jisu?”
“Yah! Why......you.....I-“ Jisu said before she was cut off by a voice.
“Felix! What are you doing here so early?” Jihyun asked as she clung onto Felix, pushing Jisu in the process.
“I don’t like it when you cling onto me” he said to her coldly.
“What’s the problem?” She asked.
“The problem is you Jihyun!”
Jihyun was taken back by what Felix said, “w-what do you mean?”
“I tried to look on the other side of you about the things I heard about you! You sleep with others peoples boyfriends, just so you can get ahead and above people. And I just thought it was just rumors!” He stated as a crowd started forming around them.
“I knew you didn’t like Jisu, by the first time you guys saw each other. I’ve pretended to think that you weren’t going to stoop so low to ruin her life and now look what you did. She walked in to you and her boyfriend. I’m just going to say this once and once only, stay away from Jisu and I!” He then grabbed Jisu’s hand and stormed out the student area and into the courtyard. People around Jihyun started whispering and she just stormed away.
After Jisu’s class was finished, she walked outside and sat a the table she always sits at to study. It’s under a tree and you can see the river from distance. Out of nowhere she heard footsteps come closer to her and she turned to see Seungmin with an envelope.
“Seungmin!” She said surprised. “What are you doing here?”
“I came to deliver you this!” He said and handed her the envelope. “It looks to be from a secret admirer.”
Jisu opened the envelope and a piece of paper flew out of it.
Annyeong Jisu-ah! You must be curious about who I am! I asked Seungmin to deliver this to you! You must find the other 5! See you soon! <3
“Who’s this from?” She asked.
“You must see to find out!” He said with a smile.
Jisu gathered her things and put them in her bag. She then bid Sengmin a goodbye and walked to find the other three. While walking back to the student area, she saw one tied to a tree. She went to grab it.
Aha you found the second one! Alright I’ll give you a hint! The third one is where you get your favorite coffee and pastries from! <3
She immediately thought of the cafe that’s down the street. The cafe always smelt of brewed coffee and the cleaning products they use to clean the counters and tables.
“Ah you must be looking for this!” The barista said as she gave Jisu the envelope and an iced latte. She sat her coffee down and looked inside and took out the letter.
You’re so close! This one is pretty easy like the rest! The fourth is where you work at! <3
She rolled her eyes. Of course they’ll give her the easiest ones last. She then ran to Mae’s restaurant. It was a pretty far run from the cafe.
She made it there and Mae was busy with a table.
“Ah Jisu! I guess you’re here for the letter instead of work” she sighed playfully and then handed her the envelope with a smile. “I hope you two stay together forever.”
Almost there into finding me! Remember that lake that used to be near your old elementary school? Well that’s where you’ll find your final clue! See you soon Jisu <3
“Thank you Mae” Jisu said as she smiled and then ran out the restaurant.
She had to catch the bus, due to the elementary school being a little outside of Seoul. Once she made it, she walked towards it and saw the last clue tied around a tree like the second one.
You finally get to know who I am! Well after you finish reading this, turn around and you’ll find out who I am! <3
“Turn around?” She mumbled confused.
“Hey turn around!” A familiar voice said. Jisu turned and saw Felix with a bouquet of flowers.
“Felix I-“ she was taken back. Her best friend from childhood, standing right in front of her wanting to confess. She was caught off by a chuckle coming from him.
“You must be surprised right?” He asked and she nodded. “I’ve always liked you!”
“When did you start liking me Felix?”
“Remember that day after our middle school ceremony for introducing the staff and teachers to us and it was raining hard. Well you being the idiot you are forgot your umbrella and I had to walk you home. Us being that close made me feel feelings I haven’t experienced with you yet. I remember looking over at you every second I had. I also had to hide that I was blushing too. After that day the feelings grew hard.” He said as he grabbed her hand.
“I was hoping to confess to you like this at graduation, but since that incident happen you hated me. But I decided to confess now before anything bad happen. Do you like me back?”
Jisu was too shocked to speak. All of this was too touching to her. She hadn’t noticed that she liked Felix even though she ‘hated’ him after the incident.
“I-I like you too” she said and a light went off in Felix’s eyes. He went and pecked her on the lips.
“I swear I’ll be a better boyfriend than Hyunbin!” He said as he gave her another kiss on the lips.
“What about my stuff?” She asked curiously.
“I had Seungmin and Chan help me get it and luckily he wasn’t there. I also heard him and Jihyun transferred from college and are moving somewhere else, maybe to the states” he said.
“Let’s go get dinner” he said as he held her hand tighter and then walked to his car.

Not Dead Yet (Part 64)
*Meant to have this out for Halloween*
Pairing: Reader x Peter Pan
Warnings: language
“Y/N,” Devin beckoned me over. He had my bag and Candace on his shoulder. Upon seeing me my phoenix flew to me and nuzzled my cheek with her beak.
“Hey girl, sorry about leaving you back in the forest.” I scratched the top of her head. Devin handed me my bag. All the clothes I had bought were still in it along with all my money. What I was truly glad to see though was my club. It felt good to have my primary weapon back in my grasp.
“About time you got back.” I told Devin, “I didn’t think it would take you so long to find Candace and my club.”
“Oh no, I found them rather quickly. I also met someone, a friend of yours named Phillip.”
“Ah,” I nodded, “Nice kid. He help you at all?”
“Yes he did. He had collected your things from your room after you were taken.” Devin was practically burning with rage, “He said that you had been taken prisoner by the Dark One.”
My blood froze solid in my veins. “Devin--”
“The Dark One!” he spat under his breath, “That is who had you! You know you’re lucky to be alive.”
“Shut it!” I clamped my hands over his mouth. I peered around to make sure no one had heard before pulling him away from the camp. Once we were far enough away I let go. “Have you told anyone?”
“No.” Devin started pacing. “If it was any other enemy I would have gone straight to Pan. But the Dark One is not another mere enemy. That is the only reason I haven’t said anything.”
“And I am begging you not to. Please, Devin, please do not tell Peter or anyone else that you know who took me.”
“Why not? Pan can take him. I know he isn’t as powerful off the island but I know he has power to rival that of anyone.”
“No he doesn’t. Not anymore at least. There’s a lot of factors at play that you don’t know about.”
“You mean like that curse the Black fairy mentioned when she possessed your body? The one Pan is apparently under.”
“Shut it!” I snapped. “Yes, the curse is a part of it.”
“What is this curse? What’s wrong with him? Why is it only you knew about it?”
“I can’t tell you. You know I can’t.”
“Of course you can’t. If it has to do with Pan then you can’t say anything. He’s our leader. Don’t we deserve to know what is happening?”
“That’s something to ask him, not me. I just made up with him and I am not going to put that in jeopardy because you want answers I am not free to give.”
“If it wasn’t for the fact I know how you two are I might be jealous of how much you trust one another. As it stands though, I am nothing but another Lost Boy as far as Pan is concerned. I am no Felix and I am certainly no Y/N so I am entitled to nothing.”
“Devin--”
“I won’t say anything because I have faith that you will keep the cocky bastard safe. There’s reasons and history behind why you aren’t telling him and letting us get revenge. As long as you promise you are going to tell the others one day, I’ll let it go.”
“Thank you,” I hugged him, “In time we will get our revenge but there is too much going on right now.”
“I hope you know what you’re doing.”
“Me too.”
We started to walk back to camp in uncomfortable silence. As the lights of the bonfire were visible Devin whispered. “Why did he take you in the first place? What happened to you?”
I took a deep breath as I found the courage to think back on my days of torture. “He found out I was from Neverland. He kept me tethered in his dungeon and tortured me so I would give him information about Peter. I didn't say anything. I refused. I didn't know what he would do with the information but I knew it was nothing good. I had to protect Neverland...protect Peter…protect everyone.”
“You could have died.”
“Better one lost life than the annihilation of an entire realm.” I tried to sound sure but my voice wavered.
Devin stopped, gathering me in his arms. My body trembled as I fought back the urge to break down into tears. “You can cry,” he whispered, “it’s okay. You’ve been strong long enough.”
I was ready and willing to die for Peter and my brothers but when I was looking death in the face I flinched. For as ready as I thought I was, and as sure in my decision as I was rooted, a voice cried out to me to stay alive. Do anything to stay alive. I have looked death in the face so many times but approaching it slowly, knowing it was definitely the end… “I was scared. I was so fucking scared.”
“It’s okay. It’ll be okay.” he whispered soothingly. “Pan’s coming. If you wanna avoid questions you better dry those tears.”
I wiped at my eyes. “What tears?”
“Strong and stoic once again.” Devin gave me a sympathetic smile before walking off.
“Finally,” Peter wrapped his arms around my middle and pulled me back to his chest, “I can have you all to myself once more.”
I rolled my eyes but said nothing else. The attention was too good to spoil. “Does that mean you’re finally going to tell me what it is you mentioned this morning?”
He got quiet again. “Yes. But first, it has been months since we’ve been together properly. I’ll be sure to tell you after.”
“Promises promises,”
“And I always keep them.”
He took my hand and tugged me along through the camp.
“Is there a reason why you’re not just poofing us to privacy?” I asked. If he was really so impatient to get me in bed then we would not be taking a leisurely stroll.
“Yes.” he flashed me that devious smirk of his as we passed the boys gathered around the bonfire. He spun me around in a dance. My feet were clumsy from not dancing in so long and it took a minute for me to get back into the swing of it.
Faster and faster we twirled around the fire. The flames seemed to reach towards us, spinning around and growing hotter the more we danced. The memory of what happened to me in the Enchanted Forest became more distant as I lost myself in the dance.
Sparks flew out of the fire and surrounded us like fireflies. It wasn’t scary though. Not for one moment was I worried that I would get burned. I was with Peter and the floating sparks made his deep green eyes glitter. I’m home. I’m safe.
I pulled him closer and kissed him. Stupid complicated feelings bubbling under my skin. “Peter…”
“I know.” he kissed me again and the lights flickered out around us. There was an assortment of whistles and groans from the boys. “Cavern?”
“Cavern.” I agreed.
He teleported us down to the cavern under his Thinking Tree. It went by rather quickly. After months of not even touching a lot had built up. Peter tried to play it off like a compliment. I was just that arousing. No amount of compliments was going to stop me from heckling him about tapping out at three pumps. Not that the night ended there of course. Fifteen minutes later and we were back to business and Peter made up over and over for the rough start.
After who knows how long we laid back fully sated on the furs. Peter curled behind me, his hands stretched out to mine and playing mindlessly with my fingers. It was a nice quiet moment that I didn’t want to spoil but my curiosity had reached its peak.
“Peter?”
“Y/N?”
“What was it you wanted to tell me this morning?”
“Oh right…” he nestled his chin in the crook between my neck and shoulder, “It’s complicated. I’m not sure how to start.”
“Take it one word at a time.”
“Okay,” he rolled me over so I was looking him in the face. He studied me for a moment, the smallest of smiles lighting his features as he stroked my cheek. “Y/N. Pet. My Lost Girl.”
“Peter. Chief. My leader.”
“Stop.” he bumped his nose against mine, “Do you think mocking me is cute?”
“Yes.” I smirked.
He rolled his eyes and continued on. “Y/N, I…”
He stopped again. He tensed in my arms and the color drained from his face. “Peter? Are you alright?”
“Y-yeah.” he pulled back from me, “You know what, it’s not important. Forget I said anything.”
“What? You certainly made it sound important.”
“I make a lot of things sound important.” he planted a kiss on my cheek. “Doesn’t necessarily mean that it is.”
My heart dropped into my stomach. “Are you really going to keep me in the dark again? I thought you trusted me.”
“I do. But now isn’t the time for it.”
“What are you talking about? What is wrong now?”
“Nothing’s wrong.” He didn’t sound sure but was still trying to get me back in his arms. “I’m just glad to have you home.”
There was something he wasn’t telling me. There’s always something he’s hiding from me. I would have hoped we were past that.
“I’m glad to be home.” I kissed him before rolling out of his arms and collecting my clothes from the ground.
“Pet,” he sat up, “Come back to bed.”
“I will. But I’m really thirsty. I’ll be back in minute.” I pulled the ladder down and climbed out. I hated leaving him alone down there but I needed a minute to myself to cool down. I got some ridiculous notion in my head that maybe, just maybe, I wasn’t the only one of us struggling with complicated and powerful feelings. A part of me wanted to believe that he felt something for me. Something that I know I feel for him. That’s asking too much of the codfish though. We were friends and lovers and that’s all it was ever going to be. To ask anything more was a fantasy not even Neverland could make real.
~~~
Peter watched as Y/N huffed her way up the ladder and out of the cavern. Once she was gone he leaned off the bed and puked up everything but his memories. The nausea passed and he cleared the bloody vomit with a quick wave of his hand. He didn’t know how he had been able to hold out for as long as he did.
He started feeling sick this morning and it slowly got worse as the day wore on. It wasn’t until he was looking Y/N in the face that it hit him like a tsunami. The curse was worsening or at least it was trying to. He’d have to check on the hourglass later.
The last time the curse worsened Tigerlily told him that it was because he was too happy. Peter was already narrowly dodging his death with the help from the broken bit of wand. He couldn’t risk aggravating it. He needed to stay alive. The entire island and everyone on it depended on him staying alive and getting the heart of the Truest Believer. He couldn’t let that happen. He had to keep Neverland intact and more importantly, she needed to be safe.
It pained him. Having to lie to his Lost Girl. Having to let her march off in anger because he was keeping secrets from her. He couldn’t gamble on something that could make his condition worse. He could deal with her anger and the sickness just fine. He couldn’t risk endangering Y/N though.
She did return eventually and crawled back into the bed. He could tell she was still upset at him but at least she was here. She was home and she was safe. “I’ll fix this, pet. I’ll fix this for the both of us.” he whispered to her sleeping face, “My word is my bond.”
Little Wolf
Anon asked: Can you do an imagine where Emma finds her little foster sister (reader) in Neverland? Like she's a tough scrappy little thing and fights the lost boys to save Henry and Emma refuses to leave her side.
Warning: Peter (crazy) Pan is in here , and he is obsessed with you, yes I do think that peter is a warning , because he’s basically aN OLD MAN IN A CHILD’S BODY ¿¡HOW DISTURBING IS THAT?! VERY.
(A/N): So I get a little carried away so it’s pretty long, and the worst part is that the end sucks , BUT i can make a part two involving Ingrid and that whole mess, just send a plot! :D
Pairing: Emma x Sister!Reader and a slightly little bit of Reader x Peter
Words: 3899
“Y/N~ where are you little one? I bring something for you to eat!”
Neverland has been your home for a long time, you honestly forgot how much time you had spent in this place, but one thing was sure, since the moment your foot touched the ground, Peter Pan was amazed by you, and you were utterly disgusted by the boy. He was weird and evil, not to mention a thief, liar, he practically kidnaps you and he also will always scare the shit out of you by appearing out of the nowhere. He could be nice sometimes, like right now, he will always bring you something to eat if he saw that you didn’t get to hunt anything, and will also try to convince you to play with the boys, but you knew better, you knew that something was off about him, so you prefer to stay alone, sometimes you will go to talk with Felix or other of the boys that seem nice, but the rest of them were just a bunch of idiots.
“There you are little wolf~, I bring you something to eat” The boy said to you, his charming smile sending a familiar feeling on your stomach...disgust. You send him a tiny smile and took the basket with food, your hands fly to the sandwiches, Peter looked at you with an oddly serious face.
“Oh... sorry, do you want some?” The boy was scary, but he brings you food, the least you could do was share right?. He smiles at this and shook his head.
“you are certainly the weirdest lost girl I’ve ever meet Y/N” You keep eating your sandwich, trying to avoid any other conversation, but the boy seems eager to get you to talk to him.
“do you wanna know why?” You rolled your eyes at him, he chuckled at this.
“You are as badass as you are beautiful, pretty weird combination for a kid if you ask me , and you are polite, kind” You scoff at this
“you are a kid idiot, and I’m not a kid, I’m 19” you said, your tiny 16-ish hands grabbed another sandwich. You came here at 16..well 15 but you were just days to turn 16.
“you certainly don’t look like 19” He joked “ how do you know how many time has passed anyway?” the boy asked, grabbing a sandwich from the basket, this time he sat down in front of you, giving his full attention to you.
“there’s something called the sun above your head that turns around the earth, yeah I know, shocking” The boy scoff at this. “I just made a sun clock” Peter gave you one of those grin smiles
“see? you are not only beautiful and kind, you are also pretty smart, you are one of a kind little wolf” he spends a few more minutes with you, asking you how you were and if you need it anything, asks you the same question he always asks you and you always decline.
“would you like to come with me? the lost boys are always happy to see you, well, a few at least and there’s also a new guy”. And for his surprised, you agreed.
“Amazing! come here” he grabbed you by the waist, and you shove him away.
“Ew no, I can walk thank you very much” Peter laugh at this.
“I was just going to fly you there, you need to relax, you look stressed, and you are in Neverland dear! how can you be grumpy if you are in paradise?” You sigh at this. The first time this boy appears in your window you didn’t hesitate to take his hand in yours and fly away from your home, his shadow is friendlier than your parents, so you didn’t think twice, you didn't know that you would spend the rest of your life on the 16 phase , it was like living in an infinite crisis. It was hard to say, but you missed home, and when I say home I don’t mean with your adoptive parents, I mean your home in the orphan, with Sarah Fisher (Ingrid) and Emma, they were like your family, until Emma disappear and Sarah didn’t want to tell you where she went, things got down hill since then, and here you were, in a magic land with a weird boy that can command his own shadow and can control the boys with a flute.with your adoptive parents, I mean your home in the orphan, with Sarah Fisher (Ingrid) and Emma, they were like your family, until Emma disappear and Sarah didn’t want to tell you where she went, things got down hill since then, and here you were, in a magic land with a weird boy that can command his own shadow and can control the boys with a flute.
“I just miss home sometimes” You said in a small voice, starting to walk with Peter to the camp.sometimes” You said in a small voice, starting to walk with Peter to the camp.
“why? you were suffering there, I saved you, you were...sad” the boy said
“I miss what my home used to be, I used to have a family, well, sort of, but I considered my family until they...split” You told him, you didn’t know why you were telling him this, after all this time, words seem to flow by themselves.
“we can be your new family! you just have to give us a chance” He said, smiling once again. God this boy smiled a lot.
“I don’t know... time will tell I guess”
“If you would tell me what can make you happy I’ll-”
“HENRY!” You heard a voice, a deep voice....mature.
“what w-”
“HENRY! HENRY WE ARE YOU?” this time was a woman. You saw Peter grabbed your hand and try to fly away, but you refuse
“we should see who they are!” you said to him, he glared at you and you could swear you felt your heart skip a beat.
“we can’t, they are bad people, they want to destroy this place, we can’t let them do that” He whispers to you
“HENRY!” You heard more voice. Oh god, more voices, how many ar-ar-
“At this pace, we won’t find him, we should use m-”
“we are not going to use magic Regina! for the last time, I swear that if you say the same thing once again I’ll-”
“yeah yeah choke me to death or something like that, excuse me for having a good idea and sharing it with the rest o-”
“oh shut up!”
The voices were getting closer, and Peter’s grip on your hand tighter.
“Y/N..”
“I can handle myself Peter, let me go” You said glaring at him, he smirks at this.myself Peter, let me go” You said glaring at him, he smirks at this.go” You said glaring at him, he smirks at this.go” You said glaring at him, he smirks at this.myself Peter, let me go” You said glaring at him, he smirks at this.myself Peter, let me go” You said glaring at him, he smirks at this.myself Peter, let me go” You said glaring at him, he smirks at this.
“You have such a fire inside of you...I love fire, if you are in trouble, just scream my name and I’ll come for you love” He leaves a kiss on your head and disappear.
Ew ew ew he kissed my head
“We should rest, we won’t be able to walk much further without resting”
“yeah good id-hey what’s that?” Peter left the Basket on your tree, fucking idiot.
“It look like a basket, it has food in it”
“Well seems like we are close”
You could finally take a look at the outsider, they were adults, weird looking guys an-One has a hook wtf!
“Aye, that’s weird, if there’s a basket here that means we are close to someone’s home” the one with the hook said. You were too intrigue and concentrated on trying to hear what they were saying that you didn’t hear a few leave crunch behind you. A hand flew to your mouth and someone’s arm to your arms.
“ I found somen-Ahg!” You punch him in the guts with your elbow and started running away, you didn’t run far, something caught your legs, it looked like roots wrapping around our legs.
“ahg let me go you-ahg stupid tree!”
“Regina stop! she’s just a kid!”
“I’M NOT A KID OLD LADY” The woman that tried to defend you, had a pixie cut, and was holding a bow, she looked offended by your words.
“yeah well she’s resisting pretty hard” Another woman said, she was holding what it seems to be a ball of fire on her hand, and her other hand seems to control the roots on your legs. The hook guy was looking through the basket, the guy that you punch was now beside the lady with the bow. There was also another woman that was looking at you with a weird expression, her face seems like she was struggling to think of something like her brain was burning or something.
“hey! stop wandering through my things thief!”
“you were spying on us kid!”
“I was not... well maybe I was, but just because you guys are weird..and adults a-DON’T YOU DARE EAT THAT, THAT’S MINE” The hook guy was now eating one of your apples, okay that’s it, you are going to call Peter.
“I know you” The blonde lady said, she walked closer to you, giving a better look to your face.
“uhh I don’t think so ma'am, I haven’t seen an adult in years”
“how your name kid?” The hook guy asked, still eating your apple.
“I’m not a kid asshole, I’m 19 and if you keep eating my thing I’ll make sure to shove that hook up your as-”
“language!” the lady with the pixie cut said
“oh for the love of g-”
“what it’s your name young adult” The hook guy said, rolling his eyes at you.
“I’m Y/N” The blonde lady seems to jump at this.
“well Y/N, I’m Killian Jones, that lady is Mary Margaret and her Husband David, the crazy witch is Regina Mills, try not to look at her too much you may get petrified, and the hot blonde is Emma S-”
“what’s your last name?” Emma asked you, she was looking at you with those puppy eyes, it was weird, it was almost as bad as Peter giving you one of his weird smiles.
“Y/L/N, I’m Y/N Y/L/N-”
“Oh god” She murmurs
“what? it’s a pretty name” David said. The blo-Emma seem to be frozen or something.
“Emma? ...hun what’s wrong?” Mary Margaret asked to the shocked girl
“h-how did you-how did you end up here? I mean, why you leave your home?” her voice was wavering a little. Emma was trying to keep herself calm, there was like a 1% of possibility that you were her Y/N right?...right?!
“what would you care anyway, can you guys please just..release me?” Regina looked at Emma and she nods eagerly at her. Regina sends her an oddly look and the roots that were wrapping your body disappear.
“thanks, what are you here anyway? how did you guys manage to get here? adults can’t come here” You asked them.
“Why would you care anyway?” The hook guy said, still wandering around your basket, you walked to him grabbing your basket.
“this is mine jackass”
“do you know where the rest of the boys are Y/N?” Mary Margaret asked
“1 , don’t talk to me with that stupid voice, I don’t have 4 years old I’m 19, 2 why would I tell you? you guys didn’t even tell me why you are he-”
“Peter Pan took our son and we are here to bring him back” Regina said
“well, he must have a reason to run away, Peter doesn’t kidnap kid for no reason , you probably suck at being a mother” You said, the ball of fire appear again on her hand, but Emma glare at her.
“I’m a good mother, Peter kidnap him, he does not belong here” The witch said
“ So you are here so save him? , what if He doesn’t want to go back, what then?” You asked then.
“He will want to go back because he was k-”
“kidnap, yeah I heard it the first time” You said glaring at Killian “well good luck with that, Peter is very protective of his friends, and even though they are kids they know how to fight-”
“wow wow wait, we are not going to let you go” The hook guy said.
“why not-”
“you didn’t tell us about you” The blonde said
“I already tell you my name i-”
“Yeah but, that’s not too much information, we already told you about us, is only fair if you do the same” Emma said. The rest of the group was looking at her with a weird expression. Maybe they were not bad, plus, you could easily call for Peter at night and fly away.
“Okay, seems fair enough” The blonde smile at this.
“Why you are here and not with the other lost boys?” Mary Margaret asked
“I can’t stand them, they are a bunch of idiots, including Peter” You sat down on a rock and the rest of them started to settle down.
“Now I like you” Regina said, you gave her a tiny smile
“...and why you came if you don’t like them?” Emma asked
“well...It was better than my ..home or whatever”
“you’re an orphan” Regina said.
“Yep, but I didn't stay long, they adopt me when I was 15 I ran when I was 16..well more like fly” The boys were out looking for wood to make a fire and the ladies were now looking at you with a sadly face.
“It was that bad?” Emma asked
“Peter's shadow is friendlier than my adoptive parents so...this place it’s like the orphan though, I’m stuck here with a bunch of stupid kids” Emma chuckled at this.
“you know where is their camp?” Regina asked “we don’t mean any harm for the other boys we just want Henry back” She with a sad smile
“well, Henry is pretty lucky if you guys came here for him, I can take you there But! … if Killian touches my thing once again I’ll-” Mary Margaret was glaring at you, she raises an eyebrow almost daring you to swear again. “-be very very angry” She smiled at this
“don’t worry, I’ll keep him away from your things” Mary said
After deciding to walk to the camp tomorrow, they sit by the fire and chose who was going to do night watch. You fall asleep quickly and it could have been a beautiful night if it wasn’t for that damn flute. The sound was beautiful, yeah, it was almost angelical for your ears, but after hearing it every fucking night, you got tired of it, Peter knew this and he sometimes plays the magic instrument only to bother you. You got up from your spot, your eyes trying to find the shape of Peter, but you only found a snoring David and a fire long ago extinct. The annoying sound of the flute sound again, you scared to follow the sound, your feets walking by themselves.
Emma couldn’t close her eyes, too many thought running through her head, one in particular sending her tiredness away, you. It was possible that her little foster sister could be you, the age match, the name and last name too, you said that you were an orphan, it was practically confirmed by now, and although she wanted to believe that you were her little sister, she was also scared, she ran away from you, she left you, she was scared of you reaction, she was scared that maybe she was the cause to make you feel so lost and end up here. While Emma was being bombarded with thoughts she saw you walking away, a weird flute sound could be heard, she decided to follow you.
“There you are little wolf~” Peter greeted you, you rush to him and smack his arm. “auch!”
“how many times do I have to tell you that I hate that fucking flute!” he chuckled at this
“but this beautiful flute always manage to wake you up!” you glared at him
“what do you want Peter? I was having a nice dream” He smirks at this
“so you were having dreams about me?” Emma was hidden behind a tree, trying not to throw up at your interaction with Peter
“ I was having a nice dream of me kicking you ass” Emma smiled at this, and Peter's smirked didn’t seem to vanish
“well, I’m here to take you to the camp, the boys are missing you, and you told me this morning that you were going to visit” Peter got a little closer to you, and you back away
“yeah I know but I’m...the new guys you told me about, his name is Henry?” Peter dementor change at this.
“you talked with the outsiders, I told you not t-”
“I don’t take order from you, or anyone for that matter, these people said that you kidnap him” Peter smiled at this
“I did the same with you remember? you were crying and begging me to take you away from those filthy pigs you called parents, they are going to say I kidnap him but I save him” He grabbed you hand and gave it a gentle squeeze.
Ahg god no, don’t do that, ew boy germs
You were going to back away but Emma got out of her hiding place.
“don’t touch her!” Emma glare at Peter, he put you behind him in a protective way. “Y/N come here kid” She said to you.
“Why would she go with you Emma? , you abandoned her after all...you made her lost her way”
wait...what?
“what are you talking about Peter?” You asked him. Emma was looking at you wide eyed.
“oh my god” She mumbled
“she’s Emma love, Emma Swan, the girl who you believe it was your sister but abandoned you, she left you alone and didn’t look back” Peter said, he was smiling like a maniac at Emma, she was currently trying to talk to you.
“Don’t listen to him, I didn't have another choice, I ran yes but I regret it Y/N-”
“wait so, you are Emma?...god you are old” You smiled at her. At this point you didn't care if she abandoned you , she must have her reasons, and you missed her too much to care about those reasons.
“Yeah I know” She smiled at you. Peter frowned at this, why you were smiling at her?.
“What are you doing Y/n? , she left you, she doesn’t care about you, all she cared is about her son, she will use you to get to him-”
“She just wants her son back, and I really want to hug her because I missed her, whatever reason she had to run away must have been important-”
“Y/N come her-”
“She will not go with you!” Peter scream at her. Okay, that’s scary.
“Peter calm down, she just wants her son, they came all the way to this place to bring him back I don’t think that a bad parent would do that-”
“I will not give you Henry, I would not let you destroy Neverland” Peter glared at Emma once again. “Y/n...they will destroy this place, we need Henry, he has the heart of the true believer if we-
“you can ask him nicely you know, just give her back her son, and ask the boy to do whatever you want him to do nicely and we can all be happy-”
“we need his heart..” He said to you, grabbing your hands. Emma was starting to get impatient, if she jumps to get you then Peter was surely going to do something, she could not help you on this, wait … he needs her son's heart… what?
“wait what? his heart?...are you planning on killing him!?” You back away to Emma , fear plastered on your face, Peter was looking at you with that maniac grinned.
“it’s the only way love, together we can save Neverland, we can rule together, you can be my Queen little wolf~”
“you are fucking crazy!” You scream at him. Emma got in front of you this time.
“you are not going to win this, we will save He-” Peter smiled once more
“I need him, Y/N I know you’ll come around, called my name if you need help love-”
“stop calling me like that Peter...I’m going to help them get back their son”
“ we both know that you are not going to do that because you know deep down that I'm doing the right thing...I’ll save Neverland, and you will rule by my side...Peter Pan never fails” and with that, he left, leaving you shaking like a chihuahua and Emma standing awkwardly beside you.
“That was intense…” You said
“.. Y/n I’m-”
“we can talk about that later, right now, we need to go to the camp and save your son before it’s too late” Emma nod at this, and almost tackle you with a hug.
“I know this may be awkward and all but I missed you” You return the hug. Emma had always been taller than you, but this time she was also older.
“this is so awkward, I’m hugging my old old old old-
“okay I get it I'm-”
“old old old sister after all this time” you two got separated, and after Emma wrapped you up in another hug, this time not so awkward, the two of you got back with the others.
After discussing the best way to go into Peter’s camp and actually getting into the camp you got the chance to kick several butts, even when Mary warned you not to hurt them too much, you just didn't care, you kick every but you saw, but unfortunately, you couldn’t kick Peter's butt, because Regina and Emma did it first, and in a pretty badass way.
Peter got destroyed by this two ladies, and they finally got reunited with Henry. Emma walked to you with Henry so he could meet her aunt.
“Henry this is Y/N she is your aunt” Emma said.
“I have an Aunt?!” The boy happily say
“yeah I know that it’s weird, but I’m actually 19 so don't you dare called me kid” You warned him
“that’s so cool!, but why you were here” He said.
“that's a long story so...now what are guys going to do?” you asked them. You knew that they were going to go back to whatever place they were, and you have the tiny little hope that they could possibly take you and send you back to the real world.
“Well, this place is gone, we are going to go back to Storybrooke, the lost boys included...that means you to” Emma said smiling at you.
“Awesome! you think you can drop me in NY? I always wanted to visit the big apple-”
“what? oh no, you are coming with me” Emma said wrapping you in her arms. “I’m not going to leave you again, I won't let you go out of my sight”.
And so you left Neverland with hopes of forgetting about your adventures and just live happily with your sister. Little did you know that your life will take a big turn, secrets would be revealed, love ones will appear and memories will unfreeze. Storybrooke better is ready because things were going to get … a little cold.
as you can see I didn’t write the scene where you kickass because I suck at that and I still don’t know enough vocabulary to write that action , sorry :(
Everything inside Diana screamed at her to run. They had to run, there was no other way they would survive. They had to escape. The others were behind them, and they were relentless, fueled by the endless hunger that characterized them. She could hear them; their throaty screeches and feet thumping the ground like war drums.
They were slow, whereas she and her family were not, but they also never tired or ran out of breath, and that gave them the advantage.
Diana was falling behind. Her parents, brother, and sister were only backs in the distance, disappearing behind thick trees with every stride.
No matter how fast she ran or how much her legs pumped to propel her forward, the distance didn't diminish – she was running in place as if waist deep in quicksand.
She opened her mouth to call out to them and water poured in, origin unknown, torrents rushing into her mouth and nose, down her throat, and sloshing heavily in her lungs.
She was drowning.
The pressure in her chest became unbearable like she was about to burst open like an overripe fruit. Panic held her heart in a beastly grip and she felt like death. Surely that had to be how death felt like.
Her eyes rolled backward as tears of fear swelled in them, and then the tears were indistinguishable from the water drowning her. Oxygen deprived, Diana clawed weakly at her throat, desperate for relief, and felt her short fingernails tear through the skin and flesh, reaching the rings of her trachea.
This was impossible, she should be feeling pain.
Nothing made any sense.
How and why was this happening? Who was chasing them? Why were they running?
Before she could form another thought, she was tackled from behind, her legs finally giving under her, and she slipped into the sweet bliss of oblivion.
oOo
Diana woke up with a gasp and took hungry gulps of air, her hands shot to her throat, yanking at the collar of her shirt to loosen it; it felt more restraining than it ever should have.
Once she regained her breath and reassured herself of her surroundings and safety, she stared at the top of the tent with cinnamon brown eyes wide open. She was safe, she was safe.
"Merda, that was fucking scary,” she whispered, trembling and feeling weightless as she rode down the adrenaline high from the nightmare. It wasn’t uncommon for one to dream of their worst fears; drowning being one of Diana’s.
She wiped her sweaty forehead with the back of her hand and kicked herself out of her sleeping bag, appreciating the air against her flushed skin.
Sleepy mumblings to her right had her turning to face Alice, her younger sister; she found the girl glaring at her. The early morning sunlight filtering through the cloth walls of the tent made the teen's half-closed hazel-green eyes shine like gems.
"Da fuck you on ‘bout s’early in d’mornin’?" she asked in a nearly unintelligible mumble, thick eyebrows furrowed profusely; an expression familiar to her face. "Imma fight you and your mom."
"My mom’s your mom, smartass." Diana grinned, but her smile turned grim. "I- uh, had a weird-ass dream, wanna hear about it?"
Maybe talking about it would make it better. Maybe Alice would laugh about it and call her a ‘fucking idiot’ like she usually did and leave her feeling pretty silly for being scared about something so stupid. - Diana rubbed over her throat, feeling the skin intact, but the pulse still unsettled. - It would be preferable to the lingering physical and mental discomfort the dream had left in her.
To her disappointment, Alice groaned and aggressively turned herself around and away from Diana.
"Come ooon, I always listen to you when you tell me about yours," Diana whined, hoping it didn't sound desperate and shook her sister's shoulder. In response, she got a kick to the shin, softened to a thump by the sleeping bag, and the familiar flip of Alice's middle finger over the girl’s shoulder.
“Lemme sleep! I was dreamin’ ‘bout Lance and you ruin’d it!”
Fine, whatever; nightmares were just dreams, and dreams were not real, no matter how realistic they felt. She was sure she’d forget about it soon, as it was with dreams. By the end of the day, she would know no more of water-filled lungs nor blood-slickened hands.
Diana swatted Alice's finger away and turned to her other side, to her and Alice’s little brother, the youngest of the three but also the tallest: an astounding 6ft of lean and sinewy teenage boy.
Unlike Alice's curly afro, Felix had taken to style his hair in locs, which he usually bound at the crown of his head; they were loose now, spilling around his head like a spiky halo.
He was curled into a tight ball inside his bag. The movement behind his eyelids told her he was already awake so she teasingly pulled on one of his locs to bring his attention to her and in retribution received a nondescript punch to the stomach, which she scoffed and smirked at.
"Ay, what is up with you two and violence? I’m like a punching bag over here."
"It’s ‘cause you’re so annoying. Don't touch the hair," Felix mumbled before curling up tighter into himself and continuing to pretend to sleep, "and shut up," he added and covered his head until only his nose was visible.
Diana shook her head at his antics, far too used to it to feel insulted.
She leaned over him on her elbow and whispered to where his covered ear would be, "Happy birthday, you big grumpy wumpy baby."
He shuffled inside his sleeping bag in response, shoving her away. A muffled reply of ‘piss off’ soon followed.
oOo
It was an understatement to say Diana was disappointed with the day’s begin.
Rummaging around in her bag for any device that showed the time (her smartphone had run out of juice two weeks ago), she found a wristwatch she never got around to wear and widened her eyes at the pointers showing 5:30-ish.
Okay, she’d been used to waking up around this time for school, but she was on vacation now, and she’d missed out on perfectly good sleeping time because of a pointless nightmare that was nothing more than vague recollections. She called bullshit.
She tried going back to sleep, she really did... But the damned sunlight always painted her eyelids red, no matter where she turned and how she positioned herself. And then there were the birds singing their chipper morning songs, waking up the entire forest.
She needed perfect darkness and silence to fall asleep, and it just wasn’t happening. She envied her siblings, who had fallen back asleep so quickly, undisturbed by anything around them.
When she completely gave up, the wristwatch read 6:55, and she thought that was a good time as any to finally get up.
Quietly, as to not wake Alice and Felix back up, Diana traded her sleeping shirt and shorts for the clothes from the day before – a tank top under a red plaid shirt and knee-length jean shorts, which showcased the stubs of her leg hair slowly growing back, luckily almost unnoticed against her brown skin. She tamed the waves of her dark hair into a messy ponytail and grimaced at the wet baby hairs at the back of her neck; the aftermath of humid summer weather and an agitated night in an enclosed tent.
She stepped into her running shoes and zipped open the tent-flap. The air that rushed in was less stale in comparison and Diana inhaled deeply before sighing, loving the dry earthy scent.
She let the flap open so her siblings could also profit from it, put her hands on her hips, and turned her face up to the tree canopy with closed eyes.
A refreshing breeze rustled the foliage above, Diana heard birdcalls and summer insects starting their daily buzz from all directions. The air smelled of dirt and leaves and yesterday’s fire, the embers of which had glowed deep into the night.
She might miss having Wi-Fi and general modern commodities, but this closeness to nature was something she'd never experienced before and it was...new, and good, very good. If not a little tiring, especially when you've been at it for fourteen long days.
She took another deep breath and got to her morning routine. Their toilet paper was long gone, so they had a little plastic bag with usable leaves as substitute pinned down with a rock next to their ‘toilet tree’ – her dad had to teach them the difference between which greens were good to go and which would cause them to wiggle in their seat for days.
The water they had was strictly for drinking and cooking, so she wiped her hands and face with a secret reserve of wet wipes she kept for herself in her messenger bag; so she was a bit selfish, fight her.
Diana sat down at the fire pit of the isolated little camping site and brought out of her bag a book titled "The Passage", which she had bought at the airport on the day they’d arrived; her first purchase on American soil.
She had initially been attracted to the iridescent beauty of the cover, but now, sitting on the carved sitting log and rapturously reading her way through the final hundred pages, she found it was actually quite good; not that she had very high standards regarding books, to begin with.
The whole purpose of the trip had been to come visit Aunt Cátia and her family, who lived in Atlanta, Georgia.
Cátia was her mother's little sister and Diana’s Godmother. She'd gone to live in the States five years prior, about the same time Diana and her siblings had joined their parents in Switzerland.
They'd only seen each other through Skype since, when at all until Cátia had finally had enough of it and had bought her sister and her family plane tickets to come see her. The only problem had been with the other person that had also been invited.
Diana was startled out of her thoughts and her reading when she heard loud, very loud yawning and turned in her seat to see her dad stepping out of his and mom's tent. The golden morning light reflected on his dark skin, giving him a glowing sheen.
He walked to her wordlessly, offered her a nod, which she returned, and pretended to punch her on the side.
Diana ‘oofed’ playfully and grinned up at him as he absentmindedly hugged her to his side and scratched her under the chin, calling her a ‘good girl’.
She pushed him away with a laugh.
"Morning," she added, putting away her book and feeling a bit victorious that she'd been up sooner than her early bird of a father, even if it had been unwanted.
"‘Good mornings’ are for the morning," Samuel responded – his usual response, every morning without fail – and squeezed her shoulder to tone down on her smugness.
She laughed and wiggled away and patted the space next to her on the sitting log.
"Come, sit with me and wait for breakfast," she joked and did nothing to hide her grin.
Samuel crossed his arms, making his biceps swell, and raised an amused eyebrow, with the contrast of his hazel-green eyes staring down at her. "Oh, you’re waiting for breakfast? Get off your damn ass, you're gonna help me. I always gotta fucking do everything in this family, none o’ you lift a finger to do a single damn thing. Dad’s always there to cook and clean and drive you places." The cussing was so familiar to his way of speech that it went unnoticed.
“Yeah, yeah, I know. Pai is the best and we are the worst children in the whole wide world.”
A warning look from him had her up on her feet and doing as instructed. She knew she could play around with her dad, he was like a child himself sometimes, but she didn't want to accidentally trigger one of his notorious bad moods. Whenever that happened, the most ridiculous of arguments would break out between him and his three children, stubborn clashing against bullheaded, and it always ended with one or both parties’ day ruined.
So, bantering back and forth, they lit the fire in the fire pit and prepared scrambled eggs with chopped up sausages for breakfast. How they had managed to have fresh eggs this long was a mystery to her, one she didn’t dare question.
Diana was walking back from their rented jeep with their breakfast refreshments, when Irene stepped out of her tent, still bleary eyed and yawning behind her hand, but already dressed for the day in a get-up similar to Diana's. This camping thing had certainly changed her mother’s sleeping habits, since the woman usually slept in underpants and nothing else, as she didn’t like the restricting feeling of pajamas. It often made for uncomfortable sightings back home since Sam shared those habits.
Diana approached the shorter woman from behind and hugged her while planting a sloppy kiss on her freckled cheek.
Irene smiled and turned in her daughter's arms to return the affection. Then she took the half-full bottle of orange juice Diana had gotten from the cooler and they both went to sit at the fire pit.
Irene took her designated spot next to Sam and proceeded to kiss her husband thoroughly, despite just having had slept in the same tent.
Diana averted her eyes and cleared her throat. "For real, at the breakfast table?" She was glad her parents got along so well, but sometimes she had to put up with some indecencies no child should ever witness from their parents; they were very open about their affections.
Irene swatted her hand in dismissal, "Yeah, you'll see if you won't do the same when you find o amor da tua vida.”
"Ugh, but I won’t be like you and not at the table," Diana mumbled and scratched at a mosquito bite on her calf. She couldn’t imagine herself being gooey heart-eyes over someone like her parents were, it didn’t fit her.
"Shut the hell up and eat your damn food," Samuel said and thrust a plastic plate and fork at her, the smell of the meat making her salivate. She took the food gladly and scooped a forkful into her awaiting mouth.
“I miss my breakfast cereal,” she commented to herself, chewing half-heartedly.
Irene chatted loudly about old gossip Diana didn't care to listen to – she’d already heard it all the day before -, and Sam listened silently along while eating.
Diana took a swig of juice straight from the bottle and just observed them.
She always thought of her mom and dad as a perfect balance of each other, not only their hot-cool personality but their appearance as well.
Irene was short and petite, of Colombian and Brazilian descent, with dark brown eyes and shoulder length dark hair. A woman her age, well into her forties, would be expected to have some amounts of wrinkles, but by the miracles of her Latina skin, which was oily to boost – a trait which all three of her children had inherited, yay –, Irene's wrinkles only manifested around her eyes when she smiled.
Samuel was of Cape Verdean descent. He was admittedly not very tall, scraping 5’8”, slightly shorter than Diana, with broad shoulders and beefy arms. His black and gray coiled curls were always cropped close to the scalp, his hazel-green eyes were constantly stuck in an intimidating glare that was basically his trademark, which accentuated the crease between his brows and the crow’s feet around his eyes.
Diana shoved the last bite into her mouth just as her mother asked her if the kids were still asleep. With puffed cheeks, Diana could only nod. She made a noise of realization in the back of her throat and gestured by her head with her hands, attempting to reference Felix by miming his hair.
"For Christ's sake, mija, swallow your food and then talk. I swear to God, you only have the body of a twenty-one-year-old, your brain still hasn't caught up." Irene shook her head and rolled her eyes when Diana smiled like it had been a compliment. She had always been childish, there would be no changing that, she took after her dad in that sense.
Diana made a show of thoroughly chewing her food, swallowed it and dramatically took a swig of juice. She wiped her mouth on the back of her hand and addressed her parents again, "What I meant was, you got Felix's present?"
"Nah, your mother made us look through all kinds of shit for hours, jumping from store to store until my back almost broke and we didn't fucking buy him anything," Samuel remarked sarcastically.
“Then you shouldn’t’ve jumped,” Diana cracked, to which Samuel began to reply with an amused half-smile growing on his lips but just huffed and shook his head in defeat.
Diana had been there when they’d gone shopping on the day they left her Godmother’s, to stock up on food and other necessities for their camping trip, but she didn't know if they bought him anything then or if they wanted to wait until they were back home to get him a birthday present.
Sam returned from the jeep, carrying baseball gear in his hands that Diana knew for sure would be a success with her brother, and he handed the items to her for a closer look.
There was a set of three baseballs, a sturdy leather glove, and a dull metallic bat with a purple bow wrapped around the handle.
Diana nodded in approval; yeah, Felix would go crazy over it. Baseball wasn't very popular in Switzerland, so you could rarely find good gear, if at all, and the boy had wanted to try the sport for ages.
It was a pity that their trip's sole purpose had been family time only – which had partially not gone according to plan –, and not sightseeing or other activities.
Next time.
Right then, chatter like bickering and movement from her and the kids’ tent caught her attention and in a feat of rushed panic, Diana threw the objects at her dad, relieved when he caught them before something fell into the grill or pan over the fire.
Alice stepped out of the tent and greeted them with the mockery of a formal bow, "Good morning mother, father, and less importantly, sister. I present to you, the birthday boy."
For whatever reason, she began singing ‘We Are the Champions’ in a pitch too low for her angelic voice while making dramatic hand motions towards the tent.
Felix jumped out with a big flourish and waved and blew kisses at his surroundings, as if there were a huge crowd awaiting him, then dropped to his knees while victoriously pumping his fists in the air in exaggerated slow motion.
Alice sang a few more lines and stopped while Felix continued celebrating, clearly enjoying his moment and no longer grumpy. The older girl walked up behind him, slapped him upside the head and called him a bobo. Same old, same old with those two.
Felix, in high spirits, ignored her and started doing his ‘Estrondo’ moves, a ridiculous ‘dance’ invented and performed by the main characters of a Portuguese amateur short film by the same name, that Felix thought to be the peak of Portuguese comedy.
His knees were bent in a half crouch, arms as if he was hugging the air under him and he moved them to and from his body while dancing around in semicircles. All in all, it was the goofiest thing ever, and Irene and Sam hated it, because ‘it made him look half-witted’.
That had never stopped him.
When he was done and straightened himself up, mom and dad skipped the reprimand and enveloped him in a tight hug. He was almost tall enough that his chin hit Samuel's forehead; it was a comical sight, to be honest.
Seeing her sister to the side, Diana opened her arms in invitation, but Alice just sneered and shoved her arms aside while sitting on the same log but as far away from her sister as she physically could.
Diana beamed at her and patted her cheek, which almost got her her hand gnawed off; Alice did not like to be touched, and affection – verbal or physical – unless she initiated it, made her very uncomfortable.
After being released, Felix sat down on the free space between his two elder sisters and both teens accepted breakfast from their dad.
"Can't wait to see what you got me," Felix said around a mouthful of meat and egg.
“What makes you think we got you anything?”
“‘Cause you’re not terrible parents and you love your son very much and want him to be happy?”
“Nice.” Alice offered her fist for Felix to bump.
“You keep playing that card and I’ll start using it against you,” retorted Irene, “Won’t you vacuum the living room because you’re not a terrible son and love your mother very much and want to see her happy? Huh, like that?”
“Ho-ho, nice.” Alice bumped her fist against Irene’s outstretched one.
“Pick up your jaw and finish eating, and then we’ll talk presents, papito.”
When the birthday boy all but inhaled the last remnant of food on his plate, Sam gave him the things he’d hidden behind his seat.
The fifteen-year-old boy went bananas over it if his excited swearing was any indication. And just because it was his birthday, the only punishment he got for his foul mouth was a smack upside the head, administered by yours truly on behalf of Sam, the hypocrite.
While Felix was showing off his present to a jealous-but-trying-not-to-show-it Alice, a blast sounded in the distance, making everyone freeze and turn like a dog that spotted a squirrel. It reverberated throughout the forest, making nearby resting birds take immediate flight and screech hellishly.
More loud bursts followed, and everyone started to crank up on the worry until Alice reminded, "It's the 4th of July, bro. Today, the whole country celebrates with you."
Serendipitous Melody 7/?
Summary: Everyone has dreams. You might dream of becoming an astronaut or teacher, or you might want to become a doctor and save as many lives you can. Emma Swan’s childhood dream was being a singer. But with life getting in the way and never finding the courage to overcome her fears, she never had a chance to follow it. That is until a little push from her friends lead her to cash on an opportunity; and, who knows, she might even get more than what she’d wished for.
Killian had been itching to go home for the whole morning. Luckily for him, he didn’t have much work to do that day. In fact, it was only after the last couple of lessons, some recordings, a short meeting and lunch with the production and the other coaches, that he could hop in his car and finally drive home.
It was early enough for the streets to be fairly clear, but as he accelerated down the roads butterflies started fluttering in his stomach. Why he was so nervous was a mystery to him. It was just Emma coming over; nothing scary. But she wasn’t just Emma anymore. He cared for her, deeply. Maybe too deeply, considering their situation. He couldn’t help it, though. She intrigued him.
Over the past few weeks he had gotten to know different many different sides of her. She had been fiery and determined to prove how talented she was; she stood up to him, not a bit scared to give him a piece of her mind. She had been forgiving and understanding, but also carefree and a great person to talk to. And yet, that woman was different from the guarded one who had been standing on the threshold of her apartment on Saturday night, but in some aspects she was still the same. Her smile didn’t reach her eyes for the entire evening and she had been more cautious than usual, but something in the way she’d looked at him told him she was grateful he was there with her. Although he didn’t exactly know what happened with Felix, he sure as hell was not going to feel satisfied until he would pay for all the pain he’d inflicted on her.
If at first he hadn’t completely understood why she became so guarded all of a sudden, the way Felix spoke to her and how she dealt with him made him look at everything from a new perspective. She might have closed herself off because of the frustration resulting from not catching him right away - he could understand that - but that poor excuse of a man had hurt her, both physically and emotionally. It was sickening how he seemed to have fun hurting her. In those moments, the urge to punch him had been strong, but as Emma had the pleasure of knocking him out, he couldn’t help but feel proud of her and wonder what her story was. And how could he not wonder after hearing her muffled reply? That hadn’t been the ideal time to ask though, so he just held back his curiosity and accompanied her home.
He hadn’t put much thought into suggesting that she come to his house for an extra lesson to let her sleep in; he’d sort of blurted it out once they reached her apartment’s door and he was glad she had accepted. And then he’d kissed her hand, only to run away right after muttering a goodnight, too scared of her reaction.
Kissing her had been an instinctive thing to do. She was just so cute, fighting to keep open her heavy eyelids, but still somewhat hyper after Felix’s arrest. He couldn’t help it. He’d actually thought about kissing her on the cheek, not even daring to consider giving her a small peck on those pink lips like he’d dreamed of, but then he’d chickened out and went for her hand instead.
Now that he thought about it, he noticed that he’d never told her where he lived nor when she could come over. As he waited for his house gate to open, he shot her a brief message before going inside.
Emma had been curled up on the couch watching reruns of How I Met Your Mother for a couple of hours when her phone chirped with a message. Fishing it from under the cushion of the couch where it had fallen, she swiped her thumb across the screen to read Killian’s message.
K: Hello, love! Are you all rested up? I just got home so you can come over whenever you want.
Emma read it over and over, tried to think of a possible reply, which was crazy considering, it was just a simple and innocent message. She didn’t know what to do. She didn’t want to go too early since he’d just got home from work, but at the same time, she didn’t want him to wait for her too long.
I’m freaking out over nothing, am I?
Letting out a sigh, she quickly tapped back a reply.
E: I did, thank you. I’ll be there in a couple of hours if that’s okay with you.
K: Of course! Call me when you get here and I’ll let you in.
After reading the following message with his address, Emma dropped the phone on the sofa and started to get ready to leave. And thank God she didn’t wait to get dressed because she’d been so distracted it took her twice as long as usual.
Hearing from Killian again made her dream about that kiss from the day before. It had been just a quick peck on her hand, true, but she could still feel her skin burning where his lips had touched it whenever she thought about it. There was a fraction of a moment, the night before, right before he kissed her hand and bolted away, when she thought he was going to properly kiss her. She wouldn’t have minded if he did. Not at all. But it probably was for the best. What if someone found out? He was her coach and she was his student, for fuck’s sake, she shouldn’t even think about them kissing. And yet she did.
Not thinking about it was definitely easier said than done.
She realized she had been hanging out with a famous musician when she reached the gate to Killian’s villa. Well, she knew that before and by his address she knew he lived in one of the most exclusive parts of the city, but as she stood there, waiting for him to pick up the phone and open the gate, it felt real for the first time.
It didn’t take long for Killian to let her in. She followed the lane, looking for a spot to park.
At first, the narrow gravel road was surrounded by trees and bushes full of small, white flowers, but when she took a turn, her mouth dropped open. His house was absolutely gorgeous: it was huge, its dimensions accentuated by the contrast between the dark grey roof and the white walls filled with large windows. Plus the vastness of the garden in front of it. It seemed too big to be the house of a single man, no matter how famous.
Once she parked her car right next to his, she took her purse from the passenger seat and walked up to the front door. As the gravel crackled under her boots, she couldn’t help but wonder why he’d own such a large house since, from what the papers said, his so called relationships always consisted in one night stands-
A light blue spot shimmering in the sunlight on her left behind some plants, and the feeble sound of swishing water, interrupted her train of thoughts.
Of course he has a swimming pool, she thought, walking to stand on her toes to get a better look. Unfortunately, a large tree was blocking the view.
“That would be a swimming pool, love,” Killian stated, leaning on the jamb of the door, arms crossed, an amused smile fixed on his face.
Emma turned around immediately at the sound of his voice.
“I… I was just-” she started, desperately trying to think of something to say as her cheeks turned pink.
“It’s okay, Emma,” he chuckled, and then gestured towards the room behind him. “Do you want to come in?”
Emma covered the last few meters that separated her from Killian and then stopped.
“Hi,” she muttered, smiling timidly.
“Hi yourself,” he replied, focusing his gaze on her jade eyes. “After you, Swan.”
Her eyes widened at the sight of the living room before her. The room was bright, lightened up by a large French window. The beige painted walls blended well with the light wooden panes and the bookshelf that covered the wall against which the sofa rested, along with the cream white hard wood floor. On the other side of the room, a big television and an electric fireplace were laying on a white painted brick wall, which divided the living room from what looked like the kitchen. It was elegant, with a few designer items here and there. Definitely not what she expected.
“Feel free to put your purse and jacket wherever you want,” he offered, scratching the back of his neck in embarrassment. “I can fetch you a drink in the meantime, if you’re thirsty.”
“No, thanks. I’m fine,” she said, putting both purse and red leather jacket on the sofa.
“How about we get started, then?” Killian asked, glancing at the stairs not far behind him.
Emma nodded. She followed him to the second floor and then to a room at the far end of the corridor.
“Here we are,” he said, holding the door open for her.
When she stepped into the room, Emma had to suppress a gasp, again. The room was huge, with large windows which granted a nice view of the garden and the same wood flooring that was used in the rest of the house. That was not what caught her eye, though. It was more the black parlor grand piano at the center of the room, the small collection of both electric and acoustic guitars, and the professional recording microphones and related equipment that did it.
Noticing the awed and yearning looks she was giving his instruments, he promised he’d let her try some of them after practice. That earned him a bright smile as she trotted to the piano, eager to get on with the lesson. Chuckling at her excitement, he followed her and they soon started with some exercises to warm up their voices.
Even though she had missed a couple of lessons, and surely had zero practice in the last few days, she still sounded as amazing as ever. She was so brilliant that they mostly had fun - both during the lesson and after - when they started playing and singing together to whatever popped into their minds. Sometimes he would join her at the piano, playing one of his songs with her, and he would sing along softly, their bodies so close she could feel the heat radiating from him and the scent of his cologne; some other times she’d get a guitar and sing with him.
When they stopped, it wasn’t because the sky outside was getting darker by the minute, but because their throats were starting to hurt from singing and laughing so much.
“It’s late,” Killian observed, glancing at the microwave clock as they sipped some water to alleviate the soreness in their throats. “You should stay for dinner. We can cook something and then watch a film, if you want?”
“I don’t know. I should go home.”
“Come on, Swan! It’s Animated Movie Monday, you wouldn’t want to miss it now, would you?” He pouted.
Laughing a little at his adorable pout, she gave in and helped him get dinner ready. Well, helped might have been an exaggeration since he was the one cooking. She mostly watched. And thank God for that since, unlike her, he actually was a great chef.
They ate calmly, he shared some funny anecdotes about fans and concerts, and they discussed which guitar was the best. It was absurd how the domesticity of it didn’t make her skin crawl, but she didn’t put much thought into it. Instead, she just enjoyed the warm feeling she’d recently started getting in her belly just by being in his company.
After having eaten and tidied up the kitchen a little, they plopped down on the sofa, putting a few bottles of beer and a bowl of popcorn on the tea table in front of it. Since it had been Emma who chose the movie last time, Killian browsed on Netflix for a bit before settling on Finding Nemo.
They weren’t even a tiny bit drunk when they started laughing uncontrollably at each other’s impersonations of Dory and getting lost in a never ending series of “Mine”, as they fought for the popcorn. It was silly, but neither of them cared. Eventually, they calmed down and went back to watching the movie as they sipped their beers (not without making comments, though).
“Can I ask you a question?” Killian inquired, only after their second beer.
“Well, you just did,” Emma giggled.
It was only after he gave her one of his ‘Really, Swan?’ looks that she added, “You can ask me another though.”
“What did you mean when you said you didn’t know anything about family last night?”
Emma’s eyes met his as she studied him. Surprisingly, she found herself wanting to tell him the truth. After all he did for her, that was the least she could do. The question was, did she trust him enough?
Yes.
“It’s not like I don’t know anything at all about family. I know something, but that something is so little it might as well be nothing,” she started and then took a deep breath, bringing her knees close to her chest. “I was found on the side of the road when I was just a few days old. The Swans took care of me for three years. I don’t remember much of the time I spent with them, but I was happy. However, that only lasted until Mrs. Swan got pregnant. Since their miracle baby was on the way, they didn’t need me anymore, so they sent me back to the orphanage. I wasn’t old enough to understand what was happening, but I definitely was old enough to remember how lost and hurt I felt when they got rid of me like garbage.”
Now that she’d started, she couldn’t stop the words from coming out of her mouth, but she was glad Killian didn’t even attempt to interrupt her and just stayed close to her as he attentively listened.
Gulping a large swig of beer, she continued, “After that I spent years in the foster system, jumping from house to house, until I ended up, twelve years later, in Storybrooke, a small town in Maine. The woman who took me in, Ingrid, had been the first person to treat me as a human being in years. She wasn’t doing it for the money like all the others did, she was actually interested in me. She bought me stuff, cared for my education and, she even took me to the carnival when I got a good mark in math. That day she told me she had filled up the papers for adoption. It was the best day of my life, I was so happy that there was finally someone who cared about me… I cried. Things were great with Ingrid: I had friends, a place to call home and someone who loved me. It didn’t last long, though. A few weeks after I turned eighteen, she died in a car accident. Since then, Mary Margaret, David and Ruby have been the closest thing I have to a family.”
When Emma finished talking, she shut her eyes tightly and focused her attention on the voice coming from the TV. She tried not to think about what happened after Ingrid’s death, but she couldn’t shake the images of Graham and Neal out of her head. As all the sorrow and betrayal she had buried deep in her heart long ago were starting to resurface, she felt Killian’s thumb softly caressing her cheeks, brushing away the tears she hadn’t noticed were escaping her closed eyelids. Her eyes snapped open and, as a few more drops fell on her cheeks, she looked up at Killian, his face hazy in the dim light of the room through her unshed tears.
“Emma,” he whispered, moving even closer so that their faces were only a few inches apart, “I’m really sorry that happened to you, and I know you’re not telling me something. That’s okay. I know what it feels like to lose people you love, to not have a family. But love, all these experiences made you who you are now. And you are a wonderful woman. I feel so blessed to have you in my life.”
Blinking back the tears that were about to fall, Emma slowly covered the hand still resting on her cheek with hers and gently guided it to her lap.
“I’m glad I met you too, Killian,” she said softly as the corners of her lips lifted up in a small smile.
As an answer, Killian smiled brightly at her. And after that, she couldn’t exactly tell what happened.
Maybe it was because of that heartfelt speech and all the emotions that were running high through her body, or that look he was giving her, as if she had hung the moon, but one moment they were holding hands, and the next they weren’t anymore.
Her hands moved on their own, disentangling from his hold and grabbing the lapels of his shirt, pulling him forward to meet her lips. It only took him a second to get over the initial shock and respond to the kiss, but when he did, it was everything.
All the worries, all the “I shouldn’t”s and “what if”s were thrown out the window. It was just them, Emma and Killian kissing on the couch. Her heart beating wildly in her chest was the only sound she could hear, the spicy fragrance of his cologne all she could smell. She barely noticed him running his fingers through her golden locks as his mouth slid against hers, sucking gently on her bottom lip and muffling her moan. Their lips moved together in a dance as old as time, each touch of his soft lips sending a shiver down her back. The groan he let out as she breathlessly nibbled his lip made her even more desperate to close the space between them. But, as the need for air was becoming too strong to ignore, Killian kissed the corner of her mouth and rested his forehead against hers, eyes still closed.
“That was…” he gasped, finally opening his eyes, his voice hoarse.
“A one time thing,” she continued with a whisper, their mouths still so close that she could feel his breath on her now tingly lips.
“Don’t follow me,” she added, finally letting go of his shirt and running off from the house, picking up her purse and jacket in the process.
Not even the loud thud of the front door closing shook Killian out of his frozen state. However, as he heard the sound of tires creaking on the gravel fading in the distance, he followed the outline of his lips with his thumb, living in the memory of how kissing Emma Swan felt.
