*I am, in fact, working on these! I’m picking the breeds and planning the characteristics. Once that is complete, I will be getting some commissioned art from @redkammy​ (a very talented artist) for the bios! Here’s a sneak peek at some of the cat breeds that I will be using:

*These bitties, called Felid bitties, will resemble a “cattaur” with an Alphys or Undyne torso and a cat lower body. They will only come in one size: kitten sized! This means that they will stand about 4 inches tall at the cat shoulder with an overall height of about 7 inches.

‘Cause bitties that are part cat is @meadowlarkkitties specialty from what I see! @vex-bittys did mention she might make part cat bitties of Undyne and Alphys if those are the ones you want instead of the bone brothers, but she did say she might take a while on those!

Bitty Type: Alphannah AU + Character: Swapfell Alphys Cat Type: Savannah (F2 or F3) Fur Color: Gold, spotted Personality: Fierce and Competitive Likes: Bird watching, night time, swimming Dislikes: Indoors, failure, wearing a bell Compatibility: May frighten timid bitties, but is very protective Additional Information: Alphannah is the largest Felid bitty. Her muscular form makes her a formidable hunter, so keep her indoors and away from small animals that may awaken her wild instincts. She won’t hurt them, but a stealthy pounce may frighten a small pet. She is an adept swimmer and enjoys being in the water.

Compatibility: Enjoys the company of strong protective bitties Additional Information: Alphkin likes to play dress up with ribbons, frills, and bells. Once she feels confident and safe in the home, she is quite friendly and cuddly. Due to her short legs, she is the smallest Felid bitty.

Bitty Type: Alphora AU + Character: Underfell Alphys Cat Type: Turkish Angora Fur Color: Varies but white is most common, long Personality: Quiet and Curious Likes: Perches, being groomed, stability in her environment Dislikes: Change, secrets/mysteries, sticky substances Compatibility: Prefers homes with fewer bitties Additional Information: Alphora truly loves being brushed. Her fur is medium to long length and needs regular care to maintain its silkiness. She craves knowledge and will spend long hours scouring books or the internet for obscure facts. Do not challenge her to trivia.

Though she has an aloof personality, she does appreciate affection, both praise and physical touch. Potential adopters might see her checking out their cell phones.

Bitty Type: Abyssine  AU + Character: Underfell Undyne Cat Type: Abyssinian Fur Color: Russet Personality: Athletic and Assertive Likes: Physical activity, leaping out from hiding to startle unsuspecting humans, pets Dislikes: Inactivity, house plants (she will knock them over), messiness (except for knocked over house plants) Compatibility: Does best in homes with other assertive and energetic bitties Additional Information: Abyssine gets along surprisingly well with pets of all types. She’s confident and difficult to bully but won’t treat others in the home aggressively. Make sure she has plenty of access to toys and activities or she will do battle with your house plants.

Bitty Type: Undynx AU + Character: Underswap Undyne Cat Type: Sphynx Fur Color: Hairless, skin appears pink or grey and may show patterns Personality: Mischievous and Intelligent Likes: Puzzle toys, observing, attention Dislikes: Being ignored, boredom, crude humor Compatibility: Gets along well in multi-bitty families, dislikes bratty bitties Additional Information: Undynx wants to keep her mind occupied, and her preferred method for doing that is observing others. Expect her to have her nose in your business at all times. Due to her lack of fur, Undynx needs weekly warm (not hot) baths and should limit exposure to strong sunlight.

She needs plenty of room to run, jump, and climb, and will happily go on walks with her adopter to get exercise.

About the adoption senerious, are they like rps about how we adopt the lamias?

*An adoption scenario is like a short story about a person (or their character) adopting lamia or felid bitties from this blog (shop). Unfortunately, I am unable to do roleplays because of time constraints, so it’s just the request to adopt and the scenario.

*You don’t need a scenario to adopt a bitty from this shop. You can imagine, write, draw, or craft your own adoption if you’d like. For people who are unsure of which lamia or felid would work best for them, there are links to the bios for each bitty on the pinned post, and you can request a matchup.

*If you have already received a matchup and are ready to adopt, please let me know! You don’t have to wait a second time once you have a matchup. As soon as you tell me which lamia(s) or felid(s) you would like to adopt, I will start working on your scenario.

*It’s ok to put an RP-like opening to your adoption request. It gives me a starting point for the writing process. Otherwise, I use the information from the matchup to create the scenario. If you just send “I would like to adopt [bitty type here],” I will do my best to write a good scenario without the extra info.

Hi vex! i have a question about the lamias, do they get along with a butterbitties?

*Each lamia type has their own general likes and dislikes when it comes to other bittybones, and these likes and dislikes most often involve personality rather than type, size, or appearance. You can check out these preferences by checking out the bios for the Felid and Lamia bitties and comparing it to the traits of that bitty type.

*In general though:

Gets along well with most bitty types: Papython, Corny, Pygmy, Chain

Will tolerate most bitty types: FireRing, King

Shy or reserved: Krait, Honey Bo

May become jealous: Coral, Mamba

*As for butterbitties in general:

Big, round eyes, “so pretty”: Papython, Coral (secretly), Mamba

Will make “butt” puns, friendly: Corny, Honey Bo

Enjoys them: FireRings, Kings

Curious: Krait, Pygmy

Can i please get an adoption scenario with a miniature Chain lamia if you have time?

*You’ve wandered past the Lamia (and Felid) Bittybones Adoption Center plenty of times. You’ve visited the website. You’ve read the bitty bios. You’ve even decided that you want to adopt a miniature Chain, but the time never seems right. Each time you wandered past, you kept on walking... each time except today.

*You’re not sure what changed. You’re not sure why today is so special, but for some reason, you can’t move past the quaint little building with the large glass windows. Being here just feels right, and moving away from the building just isn’t something that you’re prepared to do at the moment. As you ponder this unusual event, you feel a light tug on your pant leg. You look down and spot the source of the “this is exactly where I should be right now” sensation- a miniature Chain.

*The Chain lifts a forefinger as if he is telling you to wait a moment, and at this point, you’re a bit baffled and in no rush to keep walking anyway, so you wait. Satisfied that you aren’t about to leave, the Chain quickly slithers through a small doggie door and into the shop. You lose sight of him for a moment, and your SOUL lurches. He pops up in a few seconds though, making the same holding his finger up gesture. You continue to wait, intrigued. 

*The Chain slithers deeper in the shop. You see him stop in front of a counter where he appears to be speaking with someone. He points at you, and a person with purple hair and grey cat ears leans over the counter and peers at you. She vanishes, appearing a moment later to hand a sheet of paper to the miniature. A Papython slithers out from behind the desk and follows the Chain to the door, where you are still waiting.

*The Chain holds out the paper to you. You take it, reading through it quickly. It’s an adoption form, mostly filled out except for your signature. The miniature Chain looks up at you, his sockets wide, making his very best puppy dog eyes. You smile at him, and accept the proffered pen from the Papython to apply your signature. The Papython slithers away with the paperwork, and you scoop up your new Chain.

Hello, I was wondering if I could visit the felids? I don't see them receiving that much attention and I think they're lovely!

*Of course! The felid bitties have settled into their kittytaur wonderland in the newly added upstairs area of the shop. We don’t have bios posted yet so they haven’t gotten much attention, but they would love some visitors!

*The Cornies are all sprawled out near the teleport area used to access the upstairs. They are proud of their work and wish to be praised for it, but they aren’t about to wake up or anything so dramatic. You step into the portal and emerge... into a living room situated in the middle of a jungle. There are couches, chairs, and shelves. A few felids are watching television or reading books while others race around chasing toys, climbing and wrestling.

*A few Kings are lounging around, tossing toys for rambunctious Russynes and Abyssines while short-legged Alphkins watch from various cat tree perches. Benphys and Alphannahs tussle amidst the live foliage but quickly break away from each other and dash over to meet you. Undynx, Siamine, and Alphora bitties have already crowded around, curious to see their new visitor. The Kings chuckle as their charges clamor for your attention.

*Abyssines show off by hoisting giggling Alphkins and Alphoras into the air. Russynes join in while the Undynx and Siamine bitties observe the spectacle. It isn’t long before the Benphys and Alphannahs are bench-pressing their counterparts too, and the science-type kittytaurs blush and squeal at the antics of their warrior-type friends, crushes, and mates.

Have you considered making any more lamias to adopt? Maybe horror bros?

*Unfortunately, no. I have no plans to make any more lamia bittybones at this time. There are other lamia bitty blogs offering different types, and if anyone is aware of active blogs featuring Horrortale lamias, please let me know!

*Payt and Sanble (must be adopted together), are Horrortale brother lamias from the toxious-bitties blog, but that blog seems to be inactive.

*The only new bitties on offer here will be the Felids (Alphyses and Undynes only) as soon as the Bios are completed (waiting on artwork).

I just wanna say that while I will not be ordering any of the new bitties (I have two cats that absolutely do not get along well with other cats) I adore them and I hope they all get wonderful homes!

*Please do stop by and visit the Felids. The need lots of affection and attention especially since the full-sized Kings are hard at work building a second floor to the shop! We are rearranging some things. The Whispuffs will be upstairs with the Felids, and the closet next to Waffle and Syrup’s nest leads up there thanks to the Cornies. The upstairs has seating, a cat play area, a Whispuff area, and an enclosed “jungle” with lots of plants and huge banks of windows.

*Meanwhile, the Felids would appreciate other visitors as they acclimate to their new environment and the idea of being adopted. Our original eight have already expanded into over two dozen!
