Okay so I feel so dumb for saying this, but lately I’ve been having really bad anxiety and I’m thinking of waiting till the end of the season to watch season 2 of Mayans as it affects my anxiety. Like do you think it’s silly that a TV show adds to ones anxiety. I can’t even explain why I feel like this, maybe because there’s so much going on and so many secrets it just does my head in. #mayansmc #anon #feelsilly

Absolutely not, I legit had such extreme anxiety about the final season of game of thrones that I would cry if anyone even remotely mentioned a spoiler and I couldn’t sleep the night before.

I was a fucking mess.

I really don’t think it’s silly to wait, you need to do what’s best for you.

But also is it Mayans that’s causing your anxiety or is mayans what your projecting your anxiety into?

If Mayans is the cause of your anxiety, like not knowing what’s going to happen, who if anyone is going to die ect is going to cause you distress don’t watch it until you feel you can eg. All the episodes are out.

If something else is going on in your life and your just using Mayans as the tipping point of “this will be the thing that blows my anxiety over the top” maybe work on the other things that are causing you anxiety and try to find the joy in Mayans again. You don’t want to let your anxiety ruin something you love x
