The incoming new year could be a new age for us fellow JoJo fans, because Araki just announced that he will start #jjba part 9 on February 17th 2023: The JOJOLands.

This could be our first time as (devoted) JoJo fans keeping up the monthly serialization in real time!!

As we used to abbreviate JoJolion with JJL, how will we give abbreviation for The JOJOLands? JJL2? JJL+? Some suggested me to use TJL, sounds NICE.

According to the news, part 9 will have Joseph's descendant as protagonist and it might takes place in Northern Europe, and perhaps some part of future Morioh city (Japan).

Joseph Joestar himself appeared at the end of part 8 as flashback character.

What is your prediction and wishful wish for part 9?

As it will be about Joseph's descendant, it could be either Kira/Kei's child (if they had any), or even Gappy (Josuke)! Some fans also speculate that Joseph has illegitimate offspring akin to part 4.

I personally don't want an imitation of part 4, I hope Joseph's descendant will only derives from Holy, because she deserves to be a grandma as well.

My wishful thinking is that the new protagonist will be Josuke-Yasuho's child/grandchild, because I want my OTP to be official :3

Popular prediction from fans is JoJo twins, I hope so and please, make it yasugap's children!! *fingers crossed*

Apart from the protagonist, my personal wish is that we will finally have a female main villain, I hope that this time our main villain won't be overly mysterious like Tooru so as not to cause JoJotubers to create more outlandish theories.

One more thing, I hope that the continuation of part 8 that left hanging can be explained, such as Holy's fate and more lore about Rock-Humans and Stands.

11.- Most unique merch you have for a fandom? That would probably be my old Captain Commando figure from the MvsC series by Toy Biz. I don't know how "unique" it actually is, but I've seen it going on sale for waaayyy more than I paid for it brand new at the time, so it kinda looks like it's not too common. Plus, other than the games and the 2 volume manga, there's very few official merch of that franchise! :c

12.- Craziest thing you've ever done as part of a fandom? I've mentioned this one before, but I once attended to a Megumi Ogata (YYH's Kurama's seiyuu) concert in my country while wearing a Karasu (YYH) cosplay lol. I was also on the second row! Just about 2 meters away from her. It was quite the experience lol. It was also not that planned really! ((Story time ahead)) The concert was held inside an anime convention and which was also located in another city (around 4 hours from where I live). Said anime convention used to give free entrance to most cosplayers at the time. I went with my sister, a couple friends, and a bunch of guys we met during the trip and also met with an online friend I had at the time and her girlfriend. At the time, my sister and I were kinda broke bc we had just attended to that con the past November (this one of the concert was on February, just a couple months later), so we'd had many expenses already from then and also from buying bus tickets to get there this time, local transportation tickets (bus and subway), food, etc so any pennies we could save to buy merch would be great! I also used to cosplay every time we went to those cons, plus, I already had the Karasu cosplay ready since that was the first cosplay I ever made and I also still had my hair long by then since I was planning to cosplay as Kuronue at some point too (spoiler: The Kuronue cosplay never came to fruition :( ). I also had a hunch they would have Kurama merch on sale for that con due to Megumi Ogata's concert (YYH merch was difficult to find, and even more so Kurama's because it would be sold out before we even got there), and I was right because that's where I managed to snatch a Kurama Banpresto keychain I'd wanted for years! So it was a win/win all around with the moneys I saved from that free entrance lol

19.- Fanfic you read again and again? I don't have a specific one that comes to my mind tbh, partly bc I haven't read any fanfics in a good while and partly bc my memory is awful. I like plenty that I occasionally re-read every now and then tho! Most of them were written by HamonHugs because I really like the way they portrayed and stayed true to Jonathan and Speedwagon.

21.- Favorite fic trope? I'm a simple man who loves Friends to Lovers stuff (bonus for "Enemies to friends to lovers" which, coincidentally, pretty much fits Jonawagon lol). "Fix-it" fics where some of the characters with canon deaths survive the horrors (like the "Jonathan lives AU" stuff in Jojo for example). Romance stuff, fluff, stuff like Mutual Pining, a bit of Drama and Angst here and there (pretty sure the Hurt/Comfort thing fills this bill but idk?), bits of humor sprinkled here and there to give the story a wider range of emotions (thus making the sad and the fluff feel much more pronounced too). Some whump and violence can be good too depending on the story. AUs are also nice when done right. I like some of the "Modern AUs" I've seen for Jonawagon. Same with reincarnation stuff and so on. I suck at naming tropes tbh, so I totally missed stuff here.

24.- Funniest fandom-related story? Probably the story I mentioned earlier about the Megumi Ogata concert lol. Other than that I can't remember anything in particular, save for the times Reki Taki-sensei (one of Araki's former assistants for the manga and also part of DavidPro's art staff since Stardust Crusaders) drops some likes on some of the art I retweet or on some of the random Speedwagon posts I make on twitter. As a bit of a side note: He also sometimes likes some of my Jonawagon ship-ish posts too 😁

1. Since you didn't specify a fic I'll just go with one that's on my mind rn- Half N Half! Eine Kleine by Kenshi Yonezu makes me think of this au; the vibes don't. Really match with what I have written and especially what I've released thus far. But earlier on in development it was gonna be a little more melancholy of a fic hehe so the melancholy love/loss song remains associated with it

2. I do! I always reread them before posting for last minute editing, obviously, but I usually come back to them at some point long after that (unless it was Really poorly written lmao). I've never posted about my jjba chatfics on here but they're the ones I reread most often.

3. Well... Honestly it's gotta be those jjba chatfics lol. But if I had to pick one I've actually posted about on Tumblr, it would be Life By The Sea. I may not be in the mcyt fandom anymore but writing that fic just felt good, it was so sweet. If I ever went back and finished one of my old mcyt AUs, it would be that one.

4. Oh god um... ones that I'm actively working on? 5. If we count ones that are just single paragraphs or outlines or ideas or whispers in the back of my mind the number is probably endless.

5. Any of my ideas for interests I've moved on from, sadly and obviously, but besides abandoned fandoms... Well, I've had some fic ideas that I thought about just to get the creative juices flowing that I'd feel uncomfortable putting to paper because they're kinda too dark. Nothing absolutely horrible, I guess, but not the kind of thing I'm really comfortable writing down? Hamlet type shit.

6. Man I actually don't have any right now. When I was really into Jojo I had a few comfort fics and in my mcyt phase I would read and reread a few Silverwing fics though. I just haven't found any yet for my new fandom.

8. Currently I'm working on chapter three of Half n Half, the prologue for Broken Masquerade, Chapter 2 of my Chatfic, a Cassandra-focused more or less canon compliant oneshot, aaaand one of my... non-tumblr friendly projects for an anime I like hehe.

It’s interesting how Scarlett and Chris were in the same phases of their career but you can see the vast difference between them in terms of artistry. Scarlett managed to get good diverse roles which showed her maximum acting potential (e.g. Marriage story, Jojo Rabbit, Sing) post-MCU, and Chris’ seems to be stuck (or maybe that’s already his peak lol) despite getting roles opposite of Captain America./// In fact, if objectively assessed, of all the original Avengers, only Scarlett has a successful career (not in terms of money and periodic bursts of popularity, but in terms of the quality of her roles). If you look at her, she is much more famous in the world than Chris. And this is a merit, including the choice of her roles and films that can reveal her potential. As far as I know, she chooses very carefully. Chris seems to only pick what is guaranteed to bring in a lot of money, or where his industry friends are filming. And in my opinion, this is his weak point. He doesn’t focus on his acting skills, but on the appearance and status of an Internet boyfriend/former Cap. He is certainly an attractive man and for now he can use his sexuality (which he actually does, especially the TGM press tour) but in a few years he will begin to noticeably age and this is a normal process. And what will he bet on then the question is 🤷🏽‍♀️

It's so funny how some people want to make it seem his team is the one that pushes him back from successful roles.

He's comfortable, and he's entering in a phase where he either blows out or sinks. And seems like he wants to go for the blow out without taking risks (that reminds me of someone 🤔). Somebody should tell Chris quality tops quantity. Doing 2 mediocre movies and a secondary role (and I'm being too optimistic on Ghosted being mediocre), won't be a better choice than taking one mind-blowing project a year. He started amazing with Knives Out, but it kept going down every year.

It's still his choice. And, as of now, he's still able to choose among a lot of scripts and pick the one that's more comfortable for him. But if his plan is to keep the stability, he'll need to work differently.

Also I feel he's deceiving himself by believing he has more power and has a bigger fandom than what he actually does. He's relying too much on that sense, but that doesn't last forever and not every fan will go to the movies or pay for a streaming site only for him.

Hi! Can I ask for a JoJo's Bizarre Adventure matchup, specifically for part 5? Golden Wind has a special place in my heart and is my all time fave and also I've seen some of your writing and it's really cute! I think Doppio is so what you need! While he isn't the tallest man in the cast, standing at a good ol' 5'7", he is so enamored by you. He can stammer and jumble words time to time, but he has so much heart and genuine affection for you, it's hard to not smile around you. Since he can be a bit flaky (the boss waits for no one,) he's a big believer in leaving you notes everywhere and giving you daily reminders about how much he loves you.

I’ve always believed that relationships between Slytherins and Ravenclaws will always be stimulating and interesting all the time, so there will always be something new for the both of you to do, to learn, to understand and many more.

Luna never cares about the exterior of a person, always looking for their personality, mind-views and open-mindness, kindness, tolerance and all that, so you looking or coming across as intimidating, at least in the beginning, when you don’t know each other too well will never be a problem - She probably won’t even realise that ‘problem’.

It’s already canon that she painted her friends bound with a golden string of friendship in her room, so seeing you interested in drawing as well would get her very excited, and would start painting things that inspire her and remind her of you, most likely either gifting them to you, or having them in her room, as a reminder.

Tidbits

I am asexual, but I don't mind writing NSFW. I thirst INCREDIBLY over fictional characters but when it comes to real life humans, I am very uncomfortable in any forms of physical activity.

Because of said sexuality above, my NSFW won't be as good as other writers here. As I try and become a better writer for it, there are still a lot of things I don't know about sex. I have done it, obviously since I have children (that's a whole other story).

Im not done with my jojo phase, but it's mellowed down from before for sure though. My prev f/o is Abba from part 5 (not putting full names cuz like I dont want it to get caught in the search filter or something hhh) I totally have more f/o before him but I think he's the one that I think I was very attached and dedicated to and he's like the first one that I feel comfortable enough to make a s/i oc and making content for myself so he does have a special place in my heart ;w; (also I spend too much money on him. Basically Abba is totally alive and well fed and was tasked to track down another rogue team within the mob after VA that secretly tries to take down the current boss so he has to team up with Cami because her stan.d power is that she can talk to the undead so she's quite useful for info collection. Although the conflict is that she's kind of a rookie and she doesnt really know how to use her stan.d power and she hates using it because dead people are scary and it haunts her oof. I didn't think through on how they dated but im sure they started seeing each other after their mission ended (and of course I wrote a fic for that but aldjeksla I rather if ppl dm me instead if they want to read that)

Abba has always been pessimistic and grumpy. He's bitter about his past and goes on a destructive self-loathing path just to drown his sorrow. He finds comfort at the end of the wine bottle so like my whole idea for a partner for him is someone that goes through the same traumatising past just like him and let him witness the same action he did to himself so he finally realize "wait this bitch is depressed and crazy just like me wtf i need to be better too" and he just wants to be better because y'know finally seeing someone going through the same path makes this dumb goth realize he's dumb and his dumb emo life worth living. And also because this is my inagination and mom said this is my turn to imagine me kissing 2d boys, of course they are together in the end. Although I don't think they will be dating in the middle of the mission but its more like after it all ends and months later Abba was like "well fuck I made a mistake and I actually like her but now idk if she wants to see me" and he runs dramatically in an italian way through the rain just to say hi I'm sorry for being mean and emo to you rawr xD and she's like ok cool and they made up and like months later they catch f e e l i n g s dot tm (i love slow burn sm man)

Originally, her hair bleached blond but her natural anime hair is black/purple-ish so I made that after she quits her job and ended up with Abba she let her natural hair grew and cut her hair. I tend to shift back and forth between drawing pre time skip and time skip Yui but I noticed I like to draw her in her black hair timeskip version because she's a whole lot happier and so does abba hgnfnfn

They eventually had a kid together of course! And I kind of 'adopted' him from my mutual back then because they wrote a very nice fic about Abba having a kid that has Brun.o haircut because kiddo adored Uncle Brun.o very much and wants to be him 😭😭😭😭 his name is Damiano (Dami for short) ;w;

I also have an universe reset au version of both Yui and Abba where he's a cop that totally doesn't take bribe and his partner is very much healthy and alive and Yui is the barista at the cafe he frequents almost every morning.

I wasn't kidding about Utonium being a wild card and a stark contrast from 2d men that I like hhhh (I love grumpy meanie bitchy men) so my friends were perplexed when last year I started posting ppg stuff and crying about Utonium out of the blue but I'm grateful that my friends are very supportive of me and my drastic shift hhh and I cant thank you guys enough for supporting me as well 😭😭💕💕

I wanted to say I don't have a reasoning on why I just... stopped liking him. In fact I still have a tiny bit of feeling for him, but I can say my main reasoning is because I'm tired of the constant drama in the fandom. I am not actively involved in one but y'know when you constantly seeing people fighting over such a minor thing and how it negatively affects my former mutuals, it's just not fun anymore. And i also feel like I get ignored so I just distant myself from the fandom entirely for the sake of my mental being. Anyway yes Chloe's design is totally loosely based on AU Yui design with the brown short hair and apron. I didn't really want to let her go so I just thought this was a good homage to my old s/i ;w;
