1000 Follower Celebration

I never thought much of my work so I've waited to do celebrate until 1000. For those who've followed and anyone who liked, commented, or reblogged anything, here is an event as thanks. Please know that this blog and those in this fandom mean so much to me. I read every tag, comment, and reblog and they make my day every time.

in terms of timing for a potential winter tournament, I was thinking I might aim for mid-january through some time in february? (again, this probably would not be until next next year, jan-feb 2026) I have a few reasons for this:

as I mention in that last ask I've linked, I would do something more "seasonal" that's not directly linked to any holiday, so it would still be seasonably appropriate in jan-feb (for the northern hemisphere at least)

december tends to be a really busy month for me, as the whole first half is usually taken up by writing, presenting, and submitting course papers

and then my birthday is at the end of december! as much fun as running the tournament was, it was also a lot of work, which I would prefer not to worry about on my birthday, if that's okay!

but then there's another birthday on january 18th – the blog's first birthday! 🥳🥳 I could absolutely see that being the start date for a winter tournament, but I just don't see myself having the time to get something together by this jan 18th, which is why we could potentially aim for next year?

I thought I'd put this all out here to get y'all's tentative thoughts on this! let me know what you're thinking if this is something you have thoughts about! ☺️💕

• First impression

Like I said in another one of these, RTGame's gameplay was my first time seeing this game in full, and Prisoner was the first princess him (and, by extension, I) met!! And if I were to play the game blind, I feel like I'd make very similar choices to him and end up getting Prisoner too. It just feels like the most natural route? You're unsure of everything, not quite trusting the Narrator, but he's also your only source of info, so might as well go in with the benefit of the doubt.

Prisoner, herself, also looks like the most natural progression to the Harsh princess. She's not too different in how she's drawn, how she acts… she's colder and more quiet than before, but it doesn't feel like such a drastic change.

I was enamored by her. Her flat face, her monotone and straightforward speech, I'm a sucker for this archetype, so she already had me by the heart.

The flat effect autism swag is everything to me, I love it when a non-expressive character is just let be and isn't treated like there's something wrong with them/like they need to be fixed.

Her quiet trust, the way she's hopeful despite her doubts and skepticism, how deep her hurt goes if you leave her to rot aaaaaaaaaahhhhh. She's everything to me.

When you chain yourself besides her.

Something about like.. how despite you two being trapped, your curious and inquisitive nature still brings about entropy, and because of that, you manage to get yourself free without any bloodshed. Also, smth smth, stagnancy while change happens around you.

For something non-Heathens related tho, I really like the idea of Prisoner in the outside world just going on a thrift shop and completely embracing goth fashion, just. going all out, she deserves it.

Already talked about my thoughts on the 'leave head behind' lead-up, and that's prolly about it, tbh, don't really have much 'unpopular opnions' on her. Uuuuuhhhh, kinda understated opnion tho, is how she's prolly one of the most trusting and hopeful of the vessels. Just because it manifests as a quiet understanding and not a bubbly and unwavering faith doesn't mean it isn't there.

• Favorite relationship

Whatever she has going on with Skeptic is everything to me, despite not shipping it romantically, and I just. love how on the same wavelength they are, and how much faith they put in each other.

Also really interested in a potential Pris&Cold dynamic, since they're also pretty similar and have the same kinda 'flat effect autism' going on, which is why I put them together in my Swap AU that I still gotta properly go into here on Tumblr and post about lol

oh gosh. i'm not sure, but i know it definitely WILL affect their parenting... i think at first donnie will find himself just... deferring to his partner a LOT in almost any situation because he's afraid that he'll fuck it up, because he DOESN'T feel like he understands proper boundaries or what parenting is supposed to look like, etc etc etc, and he's afraid he'll mess up. he probably reads a TON of parenting books as well because RESEARCH and will often try to pull directly from them in any situation he can, and is confused when things don't go exactly the way they were described in the text... leo i think kind of tends to flounder between being overprotective and feeling the desire to protect his son from everything and anything and wanting to overcorrect this tendency by pulling back and trying to give him as much freedom and space as possible, which sometimes leads to some... inconsistencies. there's definitely a learning curve for both of them, but they both get the hang of it eventually. they both have lovely partners and a very loving and supportive family to help them and they'll figure it out with a bit of practice.

i like to imagine them all staying very close, especially coz i'm loosely planning on them all going through the kraang-apocalypse together (and then coming through to the other side!) so i can't imagine them ever drifting too far from each other, emotionally or geographically. there's a bit of a rocky start for a lot of them, but all of the siblings end up a very tight-knit bunch.

1. A FUN SCENARIO

ARCANE DR

Y'all remember the scene where Caitlyn and Vi started investigating about Silco, right? Well, I thought, how about to spice stuff a little and add one of those chasing scene moments that would start in Zaun and goes all up to Piltover, causing us three to go undercover and have new identity for a while. During our time in Piltover, we'd continue searching for clues and learn more about the wrongdoings, strengthen our bonds & and do mundane things like sightseeing!! I love the slice of life approach^^

POKÉMON DR

Together with my team, I decided to go for one of those "body swap" storyline where I would switch bodies with my evee and my evee with me, resulting in everyone and their mom being confused why another Pokémon than Meowth can talk and why a human suddenly behaves like a fox: it all ends up with us ofc getting their bodies back again,understanding the other one more than before and my evee transforming into an Umbreon in the end!!

2. Who do i not get along with?

SILCO & JAYCE - Don't come at me, but i do like myself some messy drama ❗️ Since somebody has to make the council use their hearts more than their calculated (and lowkey stupid-) heads, im going to get into a lot of discussions with him...which can end on a good or really bitter note. I won't let him kick me out like he did it with Heimerdinger though...may Mel help another black girl out 🙏🏾❗️

With Silco, it's just pure hatred atp. Yeah, of course, I'm happy he took care of Jino when Vi was gone...but I never managed to get along with him + Silco trying to make Powder/Jinx loose our friendship so he can control her more DID NOT help changing my views on him, same goes with his nasty shimmer business. Luckily, I do manage a way to stay in contact with her, even if it's only a few times per month. May i be able to make him pay for some of his sins before Jinx ends him 🙏🏾

MIRACULOUS DR

LILA & CHLOE- the hate i feel for those individuals ever since I was fricking 9 years old is INSANE😭 and while Chloe has kinda been dealt with in the show I just know that if I ever have to interact with them in class I'd get akumatized immediately ... I hate bullies and manipulators from the bottom of my heart, and those to sadly are the prime example of what happens when you don't stop your kids ☠️

😭 okay attempt number two writing this because i accidentally closed the Tumblr app while in the middle of writing and lost my progress- I'M SO SAD

Mammon is desperately trying to convince them to not visit the record shop, even contradicting himself. Says they shouldn't be the first customers right at opening, that's rude. Or saying it's probably really busy and they should just hang out here. Goes as far as offering free stuff but only if they stay. None of this works.

I bet Belphie has the biggest grin on his face as they leave, with Mammon halfway through following them out the door to hold them back himself. But he can't leave his cafe unattended. He's so worried they'll embarrass him somehow.

Cue them arriving to the shop and I look up to say hi/welcome but I'm currently very occupied trying to make bracelets. And of course I don't recognize them from the cafe because eye contact? Who's she? I don't know her. I'm mostly better about it with people I know, but if I get embarrassed about something I can't hold it 😭 (No doubt Mammon and Solomon would totally do something like a chin grab.)

Anyway Belphie is having the time of his life looking through everything. Finds two CD's he swears he couldn't find anywhere online for anything less than $80. And some records he hasn't had time to order. This has become his new favorite place. Beel is happily carrying everything, very glad he researched beforehand.

They come up to pay and I very awkwardly make space on the counter, apologizing for the mess. Up close, Belphie confirms that he recognizes the bracelets. Even recognizes some lyrics/songs.

"You're going to the concert too?"

That one question gets me very excited and feel instantly less awkward. I start rambling about how it's gonna be my first concert, I'm so excited, it's my favorite band. Until I remember myself and cut myself off because wow I should not be talking two strangers ears off.

"It's okay. Our older brother is the same way with anime. We're used to it."

Beel saying that makes me feel even more embarrassed, but it's the thought that counts. I squint at him for a second because he looks familiar but I shrug it off. I ask if they're brothers too and Beel nods and confirms they're twins.

After checking them out, I offer them one of the bracelets I've already made. Belphie was already eyeing an infinity on high themed bracelet. Beel chooses Death Valley because it's one of the few songs he recognizes because it makes for good workout music. I end up giving them a pair of "Half-doomed/Semi-Sweet" bracelets because they said they were twins. They can have matching bracelets. (Belphie immediately hands the semi-sweet one to Beel).

Before they leave, Belphie catches sight of my "cursed" records display. He rolls his eyes and asks who would buy something like that. I shrug and say "You'd be surprised. I have someone who buys one every time he comes in."

It's only after they leave that I realize I didn't get their names, a contact, or anything. I may or may not yell into my hands because "I COULD'VE HAD KINDA FRIENDS TO GO WITH IF I'D ASKED THEM !! WHY DIDN'T I ASK?!" Now I'm still stuck going alone </3 (or so I think.)

I have too many favorites. But there's a TAOTU era concert clip where there is the briefest kiss on stage. After all the moony eyed interviews in that era about them looking like they're constantly about to snog each other (like Shockwaves!) I find it incredibly sweet. 👉👈

TAOTU era is so sweet and full of such starry-eyed love that it overwhelms me sometimes, like how is it possible to love someone so much???? i want to know the secret!! anyway, they were so not subtle about it and I love that for them. i would be honored to write a poem about that little moment for you 😇 so far I've been embodying EYCTE era bc it's my fav but there's something so innocently special about when they were babes (even tho there's nothing innocent about those two AT ALL)

Hi guys! Sometimes I get repeat questions so I thought I'd make this FAQ post. I think I've covered everything. If you think of anything else that needs to be added, please let me know! <3

What is WIP Wednesday? It's a little game I started doing because of Ash, aka jtl-fics. It’s sort of a way to motivate me to write. And this way I’m able to release tiny little installments each week instead of having to finish whole chapters before I post. It's been so helpful. I've written more since last August than I had in years.

Okay, cool. So, how does WIPW work? When Wednesday rolls around, wait for my WIPW post to appear on your dash then you can send me an ask with your request. After I get done writing, I'll answer your ask with a snippet. :)

Please note: ~ I only take WIPW asks on Wednesdays, hence the name. ~ My ask box button will say either ‘wipw open 🔓’ or 'wipw closed 🔒’. Please do not send asks after it’s closed. ~ I do not answer asks in order anymore. I answer all of one AU’s requests, then move through the rest until I’m done. ~ The length of the snippets varies, based on how the POV changes or how the scenes fall. It also depends on my mental health. ~ Please be patient with me. I’m just a little guy. ≽^•⩊•^≼

What fics do you work on for WIPW? I have six ongoing projects to choose from, they're listed on my pinned post.

Are your WIPs ever going to be on AO3? Yes! When they're closer to being finished I plan to tidy them up— make minor edits, check for continuity problems, grammar, etc— and post them to AO3! This won't be happening for a long while, so please feel free to go ahead and read them here if you're interested. :)

How do I read your AUs in order? Each of my AUs has a 'masterpost', a post where I link to each and every piece ever written. You can use it to click through and read each piece in order. Alternatively, if you're brand new to my fics you can click the link on the masterpost for a chronological view of the AU's tag! :)

Can I reblog WIPW posts? Absolutely! It makes me really happy when you do!

How can I leave comments on WIPW stuff? You can reblog a post and put comments in the tags, reply to the post, or send me an ask with questions or comments about my AUs! Though I might not answer every comment I receive, I appreciate them all so much. Y'all don't even know.

Do you like fanart? Yes. I love it. I adore it. I will give you my firstborn child. You don't even understand. Hi!! Call me Ducky, I'd prefer not to use my real name on here.

I write a lot, mostly I post poetry but sometimes I might post a short story or something else I've written.

I LOVE theatre, don't come at me for not knowing shows and showtunes... My fam don't have much money so my theatre experience is limited to our local theatre with smaller shows that they put on/often create themselves so I've only actually seen one mainstream show live - Matilda (it was amazing!! Loved it so much). I've been onstage before however performing, and am looking forwards to more opportunities to perform. I love acting and recently found out I'm not a horrible singer like I thought (not amazing but I got a solo soooo idk)... I've never really done much singing stuff before so like it was so weird but I LOVE it and I wanna maybe try getting singing lessons but they're so expensive so I'm not sure...

I do Girl Guides (Scouts for girls) and LOVE it. I volunteer at a younger Brownies unit (ages around 7-9) and I've been on some super cool experiences because of Girl Guiding. Even visiting Pax Lodge, one of the world homes.

I love art, writing, bugs, camping, creating, drama, and talking about stuff... Although I've been told I can be heavily opinionated and feel a need to defend everything I say like a lawyer... So um... Sorry bout that... I try to stay away from heavily opinionated topics for this reason... Feel free to ask me any questions and send me your writing/poetry as well. Keep in mind I am a minor so please no 18+ content or inappropriate stuff in general.

I'm interested in trying to collaborate on stories with people - if anyone starts writing part of a story it would be cool to add to it and create some shared story type of thing. Let me know if this is something you'd be interested in doing :)

46) How would you describe your style? (Character/emotion/action-driven, etc)

Oh boy, this one is tough for me. Generally, I'd say action-drive considering how quickly I try to get to the plot, followed by character. I like having big casts (if GoS and MoaH haven't given that away).

54) What’s your favorite part about the fanfiction writing process?

I feel like this is a bit of a cheat, but honestly, the posting process. It is a bit of a double-edged sword, but getting to see y'all's reactions makes my day. And it always feels good to be part of fandom and folks who also enjoy this thing I enjoy.

I guess less cheat, the sandbox/worldbuilding process. Getting to take the parts of the setting and play with them. For example, in MoaH, I'm having so much fun with reimagining the lineages/races and how they exist in this setting unique from other moments in canon. Marela's Zora design really started a deep dive there (pun absolutely intended!) on the fun things fic can do when it's not constricted by hardware limitations.

56) What’s something about your writing that you pride yourself on?

I just got a compliment on my worldbuilding today, so I'll say that for one. Personally though, I'm gonna say my originality. I definitely can't say I came up with the idea of "original legends," but I have also never seen anyone tell stories how I tell stories. Things like how I divide chapters and the "..." chapter continuations. It's definitely my own style!

58) What part of the writing process do you enjoy the most? (Brainstorming, outlining, writing, editing, etc) 

Writing! Look, I'll get lost in worldbuilding, but the writing it part is way more fun. Is there anyone who genuinely said editing tho, because I don't understand you.

65) Tell us about what you’re most looking forward to writing – in your current project, or a future project

Since GoS is complete, I'll answer this for MoaH. Currently, in book 2, there's a gala coming up with very good Zelink interactions I'm looking forward to.

And, as a future project, in book 3, oh, in book 3. Well, let's just say I'm correcting a mistake I made in GoS in introducing a very important character so late. He shows up much sooner.

77) Do you have a favorite scene you’ve written from [Fanfic Name] story/chapter? 

Since I was asked for both Goddess of Secrecy & Mark of a Hero, I will give you one of both.

For GoS, and this is a very late scene not yet imported to AO3, a tie between the boss fight in the Soul Temple and the final phase of the Ganondorf fight. Getting to bring so much of the cast back was an absolute blast, but also the emotional impact of the Soul Temple fight. Ah! It was so good. And what a twist! Setting that one up so the title didn't spoil it was a challenge and worth it.

For MoaH, oh boy. Where to start. 90% of the scenes I'm thinking about are Zelink bull y'all don't have yet and won't be out until like, at least October. If not later. The earliest one, oh...there's a scene in Overworld Chapter 34 that absolutely is going to get me comments for the tease of it.

Closer, there's a really good scene coming up in Overworld Chapter 25 that brings back someone from GoS in a way, and I love this interaction of them.

7. the first one that came to my mind is "i haven't felt this bad since the time i thought i was gonna poop my pants in elementary school!" but "let's make like a bread truck and haul buns" is also a classic sjsfkf

18. oh he was definitely a menace lol. i feel like he was the kind of kid who loved to play pranks on everyone (especially adults), and i think he was always the class clown type of kid.

20. idk if this is weird as much as sad (and it might be a stretch) but it's been on my mind lately: i feel like part of minoru's love for heroes might be bc of his parents' divorce. like hear me out...heroes solve problems and make everyone feel better, and having parents who divorce can be distressing for kids and it feels like they don't have any control in the situation. there's a chance that one of the first times minoru would've wanted to make problems go away and make everyone feel better was when his parents got divorced (and presumably were unhappily married and arguing before the divorce). again this could be a stretch and i've been known to make things more complicated than they are but i think it's an interesting idea idk

i think my first impression of him was that he was funny and that he'd probably be one of my favorite characters (and i was right dkdsjlsf)

i think i started to like him during the first few free actions you have with him?? bc he's such an asshole but he's so fuckin funny. but the moment he gained favorite-character status for me was during chapter 3 of my first playthrough bc not only was it clear how much he loved his mom but it was also obvious that he pushed people away bc he automatically assumed that they hated him and considered him burdensome. so at that point i was like "yeah i'd die for this mf." and then he fuckin died like 5 mins later and i cried for at least 20 mins bc i am Very Normal about him lol

13. probably not a surprise to anyone but it's minoru lol. the way they just seem to naturally understand each other is something i love about them (like when ryo recognizes that minoru's teasing is just him trying to cheer ryo up), and i love their banter. i think my favorite thing might be how despite all their bantering and teasing, it's clear that they care a lot about each other and will drop everything if the other needs help. and then they'll both be doing the most to pretend like they don't care That Much and that putting themself in potential danger just to help each other out just isn't a big deal lol. honorable mentions go to his friendships w/ takuma and saki tho!!

Didn't think i'd see myself making this anytime soon since for a while i've just been a small Tumblr artist, but since i'm gaining a bit of attention lately might as well. Read below to know some stuff about me!!

Howdy, shalom, however y'all greet. I'm Exar. I'm a neurodivergent unlabeled artist who moved from Twitter to Tumblr a bit ago! My pronouns are he/him, they/them and ey/em. I don't really have any kind of sona or blog mascot or anything (though i do have original characters), so you'll have to rely on a no-facer to recognize me

I mostly count as a fandom artist as of writing since i've yet to post any OC content, but that's subject to change. I'm an everything artist. My interests change pretty quickly, but no matter what: I love robots. A lot. Think Wheatley or Fandrew or Wall-E or Axis 014, those kinds of robots. If something i see has a robot with a personality, i am immediately going to like that character.
