`Calls´: la serie de ciencia-ficción más singular de la última década consigue aúnar televisión y radio.

Un podcast con imágenes para sugestionarse o inmiscuirse más en las historias interconectadas que se presentan. Quizás esa sería la mejor definición de una serie que mezcla radioficción y televisión.

Atendiendo a la definición de Transmedia: "tipo de relato donde la historia se despliega a través de múltiples medios y plataformas de comunicación". Calls podría considerarse un podcast que suma un segundo medio, los grafismos, con la idea de ampliar el contenido que otorgan las voces. Es decir, Calls es el proceso conceptual, creativo y vistoso, basado en ondas que forman símbolos infinitos, que amplía el contenido del argumento simulando localizaciones más o menos abstractas con el objetivo de generar suspense y transmitir ideas nuevas.

De un modo u otro, 'Calls' es una cita inevitable para los amantes de la ciencia-ficción. El desarrollo de las historias sin que veamos a los actores puede llevar a más de uno a los tiempos clásicos de la radioficción de toda la vida. Una apuesta arriesgada, pero de calidad para Apple TV.
