1. Do you have more platonic or romantic feelings for them? Romantic feelings tbh

2. Have they ever physically touched you? Yes. A has lots of times, mainly through high fives or "accidental" knee touching! I have touched S's shoulder once. M and i have knocked hands a few times

3. Would you ever plan to pursue them when you graduate? (And when you’re legal) Maybe! Haven't completely decided yet

4. Do you know their birthday/zodiac sign? I know what zodiac sign S is since i know his birthday

5. Do you know their favourite colour? Nope

6. What do they teach? B taught English, M and S teaches science. S also teaches Italian.

7. Do you think you’re their favourite student? I have no clue. Hopefully i am!

8. Are they tall, short, or average height? S is tall. And i mean VERY tall. B is average...man height?? A is 5'11" and M is just a bit shorter than S. I think N is around the same height as M, maybe a cm taller

9. Do they have any pets? B did have a cat once, but it had to be put down when B was 16. M also had a couple pets

10. Do you ever plan to confess your feelings to them? (Careful with this one, they could possibly lose their job or get you in trouble) I don't know, maybe not. i don't want them to lose their jobs. maybe after i leave if i keep in touch with them

11. Do you know any of their talents? S is good at netball if that counts as a talent. N knows how to play the guitar and A knows how to play an instrument (i forget which one 😬)!

13. Have you told anybody irl about your crush? Yes. I have told my friend. She is the only one that knows

14. Be honest: Do you think you're in love? Happy Valentines Day everyone! To be completely honest, maybe! There are so many things that i've done with all of them that have stuck with me and still make me happy!

15. Do they motivate you to come to school? They motivate me all the time

16. Have you ever seen them cry? I haven’t, no

17. What kind of dynamic do you guys have? M is so fucking nice and caring towards me! He just treats me more differently then other students! A said to my mum personally that I’m his favourite student! He is fun to be around! S likes to joke around with me all the time, and we have this special bond and also treats me differently than other students! B used to be so caring towards me! N is like S!

18. Have they ever caught you staring? I'm pretty sure on multiple occasions

19. What was the most embarrassing thing you’ve done in front of them? (All of us have done some pretty embarrassing stuff, let’s be honest.) Falling in front of S multiple times (haha, i'm so clumsy) and crying in front of B 

20. Do they make you feel safe/loved? Yes

21. Have they ever rendered you speechless? Multiple times. It is a bit embarrassing when it happens. They help me to get my words out which is good

22. Are they a good teacher? They are amazing! Other students think so as well

24. Are you guys close? Well, kind of. With M, N and S, we are very close! A and i are quite close as well! B and i were close, but not as close as the rest.

28. Have you ever cried in front of them? I have cried in front of B and N once. S saw me just after I have cried which was embarrassing. M has seen me nearly cry. i was so close to crying in front of him, but i didn't.

22. Are they a good teacher?

Absolutely. Best teacher I’ve had honestly and thats not just bc I like her, she teaches in such an engaging way

She has very 2000s humour which does throw me sometimes but its really not too bad

24. Are you guys close?

Yeah for sure. There’s definitely a group of us I’d consider to be close and almost friends with her and I’m definitely one of them

25. Do other students like your tc?

Absolutely, only ever heard ppl talk about her positively

26. Have you ver dreamed about them?

Once but I’ve since forgotten what happened in the dream :(

Not really, more friendship realistically

In fact original Hollow Knight wasn't planned to be released in 2017. TC were aiming to release it in 2015, than first quarter of 2016 and after all the game finally saw the world only in February 2017. So... We could see some pattern here.

Officially we had one delay from Leth back in 2023, meaning that Silksong is still in process. Even by the count of benches (over a hundred vs. 50+ in original HK, info from the Edge magazine interview) we could imagine how much bigger Silksong is. Double the size, double the efforts, double the time. You can say "Hey, Oste, they had previous experience and they should be faster!" and you'll be correct, I could even agree with you, but I think there's new challenges that simply taking more time and new unique approach that wasn't sufficient for Ghost but is crucial for Hornet. Why does TC keep silence and being shady about the development? Idk, honestly. I'm just making rough guess here, not the objective prophecies.

What we can have in conclusion? I'm hoping for even more confirmed by Leth delays for year or even two. This sounds pretty realistical and logical and unfortunately it can get on the nerves, I know. But let's show TC some respect, please? I know for some of people it sounds like even worse than delivering the Fragile Flower to Mato but hey... Let's be honest. Delay sounds more realistically then release date now. The only one thing that remains is Leth who could confirm it. It's not a mass hallucination or gaslighting, it's just that time when you need to wait and it will be worth of waiting since we know how much TC are doing for their own universe.

april TC challenge days 1-10 by @morethanwords0475 <3

this challenge seems like fun so i thought i'd participate yay :) catching up and hopefully doing it daily afterwards ^^

Day 1: Happy April Fool’s! Have you ever pranked your TC; if so, how did they react? nope and i don't think i ever would. i just don't have the guts to prank teachers (or even friends) haha

Day 2: What is the earliest thing you can remember about your TC? oh god i love this memory pahahaha i was new in class (i changed schools two weeks after the year started) and the very first lesson was J's religion lesson. i remember him talking about Jesus smoking weed and being high or something and at first I thought “where the hell did i land here” lmao😭 so my first impression of him was like "who tf is this guy and what did he smoke"

Day 3: Do you like your TC’s subject? Do you consider yourself to be good at it? hmm with him as a teacher i do like it because, as i mentioned before, he teaches religion, but it feels more like philosophy. and i definitely prefer the latter haha seeing as philosophy (and religion) are very subjective topics, i can't be objectively good at it. when comparing myself to my classmates i would say i'm more interested in philosophy, books by philosophers and all the ideas than them. that doesn't make me good at it tho, so unfortunately there's no answer for that sdlkghsldkg

Day 4: How do you feel about your age gap? it's a pretty normal age gap for a student and a teacher to have i guess slkdghsldkgh (our age gap is approximately around 35 years)

Day 5: Have you ever said anything to your TC that showed you favoured them? Have they said anything like that to you? in our conversation on teams, i mentioned that i really liked his lessons and his way of teaching. in his reply, he thanked me for it and said that's most important to him. :) i don't know the exact wording, but i can dig up the message and post it if anyone's interested

Day 6: Have you ever noticed any small habits that they have? If so, what comes to mind first? J is ALWAYS so confused and really aloof. like, that man can't hold a thought for a second. if you ask him a question, be prepared for a ramble that goes on for half an hour without ever mentioning the topic of your question again. it's so funny honestly😭

Day 7: What gift would you really like to be able to give them, regardless of if it’s realistic or not? okay. man. this is really fucking weird. please don't think i'm weird😭 also not exactly a gift, i'd want it back haha buuut i've always thought how i so desperately want to give him my little notebooks i carry everywhere which are diaries, poetry collections, just my thoughts scrabbled out on paper. i want him to understand me and by reading these notebooks, he would. as a real gift, i think a book annotated by me would be nice, i just want him to see my thoughts about books he's read too

Day 8: Does your TC ever talk about what it was like when they were still a student? he did, once. he told us how he had no idea what he wanted to do after school and how he was actually a really bad student. i really felt him in that moment slkghsghslk

Day 9: Does your TC have a significant other? If so, what do you know about them and how do you feel about them? yesss he has a wife and they've been married for a reaaaally long time i think. i saw her once with him at our school prom, they were sitting on the table next to us, and both of us were eating. at the time, i avoided him and tried to act like i didn't see him in hopes of him not noticing me lol. about his wife - if he talks about her, it's only ever positive so i can imagine she's really nice. :)

Day 10: What is the longest time you have gone without seeing them? of course the usual summer break, but actually right now! he had a pretty bad skiing accident around the start of february, so i haven't seen him since then. if everything's good, i'll hopefully see him again on friday! but it actually made me really sad that i didn't see J for so long because i promised myself i would try to talk to him before i never saw him again. i know he sometimes talks to students who stay behind after his lessons, sometimes for a really long time, and especially after the awkward end of our conversation on teams i really really want to have a long and thorough conversation with him just once. i don't really have a lot of possibilities anymore, time is running out, so i'll have to be brave and find an opportunity and then actually talk to him haha. wish me luck, i'll surely make more posts about this lol

i think it is genuinely bizarre how this February went. I’ve been off and on the site since 2016 and I’m slowly getting more turned off by it mainly because of the players. Yesterday I was trading for a few last minute gems and had people pissy in my DMs because I wasn’t about to give them 200SB per fucking kunzite. I bought plenty for fair prices but jesus the ATTITUDE. And TC is constantly flooded with begging and “1SB to G1 Hybrid” challenges. don’t even get me started with Main chat.

I just really want to talk about him right now so I thought I'd do one of these!

Do you have more platonic or romantic feelings for them?

Romantic. I've never crushed this hard on someone before. I wake up thinking about him, and I go to sleep thinking about him too. Although, part of me is afraid that I'm projecting my daddy issues onto him? Like I've seen him with his kids, and he's the kind of father I've always wanted. Not that my dad was horrible or anything, I've just always secretly craved a father figure.

2. Have they ever physically touched you?

Yes. Obviously we've had the occasional brushing of hands, but one time it was more than that. I was holding something he was tending to and I happened to be sitting down holding it before he showed up. When he showed up to tend to it, he sat down right next to me and our thighs and feet ended up being pressed together. He didn't move them. I'm sure he could definitely tell that I was squirming, but I didn't want to make him uncomfortable. I have no idea if he did it on purpose or not.

3. Would you ever plan to pursue them when you graduate?

No. He's married. If he wasn't, that might be a different story.

4. Do you know their birthday/zodiac sign?

Yes! I won't share his birthday for privacy reasons but he's a Taurus. I'm not sure he knows that, though. lol.

I feel like he told me once but I honestly can't remember.

I had to Google the average height for men where I live, and according to that, he's tall-ish. You wouldn't look at him and go, "Wow! That guy is super tall!" but he's not short.

Not currently. He grew up with animals, though.

Absolutely not. I respect both him and his wife (whom I know) too much to ever do that. Honestly, even if I didn't respect them, I still wouldn't do it. He's married. Worst case scenario- he asks me plain and simple if I have a crush on him. I'd lie and say no, but I feel like it would be obvious. Maybe if I see him in 10 years I'll tell him that I had a crush on him back when I was 18/19, but currently there are no plans.

11. Do you know any of their talents?

Yes! He's a skilled wood worker, writer, artist, golfer, sailor, and negotiator.

12. How often do you think of them?

As I mentioned earlier, I think of him wayyyyy too often. He consumes the majority of my waking thoughts and even my dreams sometimes.

Yes. I told three of my friends, my therapist, and my mom suspects it but I haven't told her.

14. Be honest: Do you think you're in love?

I've never been in love, so I'm a bit hesitant to answer this question. Possibly? I've only ever heard people say that when you know, you know. The thought popped into my head for the first time not too long ago, and I was pretty scared by it. If I am in love with him, I wish I wasn't.

15. Do they motivate you to come to school?

Absolutely. I now think of being there as a chance to see him, so I'm extremely motivated hahaha

16. Have you ever seen them cry?

No. And to be honest, I hope I never do. I think my heart would absolutely shatter. I'd be crying right there with him.

Like a ship dynamic? Mmmmm probably introvert who doesn't talk very much unless they're comfortable (me) x introvert who talks because they're uncomfortable (him) or hanging on by a thread (me) x hanging on by a thread but in a different way (him)

If you didn't mean ship dynamic, our dynamic is just him telling me stories and me listening and occasionally blushing. When he asks me about myself, I become an absolute fool and he just watches lmao

...yes. But as I mentioned in the last one, he talks a lot so if I'm looking at him it's just usually because I'm listening. However, he has caught me staring at his hands and forearms... and that was extremely embarrassing.

19. What was the most embarrassing thing you've done in front of them?

Idk I'm pretty awkward sometimes so I'll just kind of stand around while I'm waiting to talk to him or when I'm unsure of what to do. It always makes me feel like I'm being super weird. I also blush pretty easily and do it a lot in front of him which probably gives me away kjshdflkhsj

20. Do they make you feel safe/loved?

Safe? Yes. Loved? No, I feel like we don't know each other well enough/have that kind of relationship. He and I have been alone together quite a lot, and if it was a different man, I'd probably be afraid. When I first met him, I was a little bit scared to be alone with him, but I knew in the back of my mind that he wasn't going to hurt me. You know that trend a while back about the men you'd feel safe in a room/elevator/leaving your drink with/etc? If he and I were in some kind of situation like that, I'd bet on the fact that he'd keep me safe and unharmed.

21. Have they ever rendered you speechless?

Not quite in a movie way, where the main character can only get out occasional "wow"s at how good their love interest looks. But in smaller ways. One time he looked like he hadn't shaved in a few days and Cassie.exe stopped working immediately. Another time I saw him doing physical labor and was just kind of stuck watching the muscles in his arms move as he worked. He's also taken my breath away with things he's said.

22. Are they a good teacher?

Absolutely. Best of the best ☺️

He has the tendency to mansplain things sometimes? It makes me feel like he thinks I'm stupid. When it's just him and I, I don't mind as much. But when other people around, I'm less tolerant to it. But I also feel like that could be because of his job? Like maybe he's trying to be helpful and doesn't know it comes across like mansplaining occasionally? Idk.

24. Are you guys close?

I'm not sure. Closer than we probably should be, considering our professional relationship and our ages (and the fact that he's married). But some days he feels like a stranger. I know a lot more about him than he knows about me, but I still won't ever know all the intricate details, you know?

Unfortunately, yes. Usually I scroll past those, but one of my friends will send them to me when her and her crush line up. When that happens, I look for him and me.

Yes. All the time. Last night I had a dream where we were talking about my dad 🫠

In theory, yes. In practice, no way. He's married.

By next year, Coastal GasLink should be ready to start pushing natural gas from Dawson Creek to Kitimat through its 670-kilometre pipeline and then close a 10 percent equity agreement with First Nations.

That doesn’t necessarily mean natural gas will be flowing through the pipeline a year from now. The LNG Canada liquefaction plant in Kitimat that it will feed is not expected to be complete and in production until mid-decade. It may not be until late 2023 that natural gas starts moving through the proposed pipeline to Kitimat.

LNG Canada is expected to use the pipeline to supply natural gas to the Haisla First Nation’s Cedar LNG project. The Haisla have an agreement with LNG Canada to access some of the natural gas from CGL.

The Coastal GasLink pipeline, now expected to cost $11.2 billion, has suffered numerous setbacks and obstacles since construction began in 2019, from a pandemic and competition for labour from the Trans Mountain pipeline project to citations for violating environmental regulations, activist roadblocks and a “significant terrorist attack.”

That’s how CGL president Bevin Wirzba describes an attack on a CGL work camp in February 2022 by 20 axe-wielding vandals who terrorized workers, commandeered heavy equipment, and used it to smash vehicles, equipment and trailers, causing millions of dollars in damage.

Despite those setbacks, the project is now 80 percent towards completion. TC Energy (TSX:TRP), responsible for building the pipeline, owns 35 percent of the project. KKR, an American investment company, and Alberta Investment Management Corporation (AIMCo) own 65 percent. TC Energy signed option agreements last year with 16 of the 20 First Nations along the pipeline route. These agreements will allow them to acquire 10 percent of the pipeline once it has been built. That would bring TC Energy's ownership share in CGL down to 25 percent.

A West Coast LNG industry can’t happen without pipelines, and getting pipelines built in B.C. has proven to be a Herculean task.

The geotechnical challenges of building a pipeline over mountains and underneath hundreds of streams have been compounded by a pandemic, activism and competition for labour. These factors have contributed to the estimated capital cost of the project spiralling from $6.6 billion to $11.2 billion.

In a typical year, 8,000 to 10,000 workers build pipelines in Canada, Wirzba said. That doubled last year to about 20,000, with CGL and Trans Mountain both in peak construction.

CGL was hit with many infractions of the B.C. Environmental Management Act for things like improper management of erosion and sediment control at stream crossings.

At capacity, the CGL will be able to move close to 5 billion cubic feet per day (bcf/d) of natural gas from Dawson Creek to Kitimat.

Phase 1 of the LNG Canada project will consume about 2 BCF/d. That would double should the partners behind LNG Canada sanction a Phase 2 expansion. Should the Cedar LNG project be built, it would consume about 0.8 bcf/d of natural gas. At that point, the pipeline’s capacity would be fully subscribed.

No but I’ve definitely seen J very emotional and I think pretty close to crying :(

Idk what I’d call it but we’re very responsive to each other, bouncing ideas back and forth, and we seem to understand each other really well in general.

Maybe once or twice but honstly J’s lessons go so fast I dont have much time between frantically writing notes, plus I try to only stare at her when she’s not looking at me.

19. What’s the most embarrassing thing you’ve done in front of them?

Hit myself in the face witch the butt of my sword and gave myself a nosebleed :) J was so concerned for me lmao.

Oh gosh absolutely, J is one of the only people I feel safe around. Not so much loved as cared about but good enough I suppose.

February TC Challenge

1. Do you have more platonic or romantic feelings for them?

Definitely more romantic (oops), but I am more than content just being friends with him - if we can even get to that.

2. Have they ever physically touched you?

We’ve accidentally touched hands/fingers while giving stuff to each other, and there was once when we were standing side by side his arm leaned against mine gently (there wasn’t a lot of space around us), I kind of froze but he didn’t move away for a short while.

3. Would you ever plan to pursue them when you graduate? (And when you’re legal)

Hmm I actually don’t, and it feels weird to ask lol. Gonna guess blue but maybe I'm just projecting.

Sakjsdhajda I hope so? There’s definitely another girl in our year whom he really likes as well, but I would say we are his top two favourites, at least in our year group.

He’s pretty tall, less so than some of our other male teachers or even male students, but tall enough.

He and S have a dog together, I’ve bumped into them when they were walking her before, she’s adorable.

I wanted to confess after I graduate and now that is off the table, so maybe on the last day I would just be like "hey I really admire you and you have had a very profound and positive impact on my life" or whatever. I’m also contemplating giving him some poems I wrote for him which would make it obvious, but by the time he reads them he would probably be long gone.

Sports is definitely one, maybe also writing. Nothing artsy or musical unfortunately haha

Like every other waking second (not quite, but basically yeah). I definitely think of him a lot more at home and less in other classes.

I’ve told my closest friends, they’re all really supportive and I love that they put up with me constantly gushing about him.

I mean, what is love? What does it mean to be in love? 🤯 Lmao I don’t think I’m yet qualified to tell, but I have certainly never loved anyone else (past TCs or people my age) as much, or in the same way, as I love T.

15. Do they motivate you to come to school?

Yes ma’am he certainly does. I mean I do enjoy going to school for other reasons - being around people like friends and platonic TCs, academic validation, etc., but T is the predominant motivator.

16. Have you ever seen them cry?

No, I have dreamed of it once though. Ngl I kind of want to see him cry some time, but I would also punch anyone who dares make him upset like that ✌️

17. What kind of dynamic do you guys have?

Ooo it’s difficult to say, it feels like we are both very professional with each other most of the time, but since we interact so much - mostly because I’m a clingy b*tch - I feel more at ease with him now and I think he acts that way as well. I’ve got to say it feels weird when we’re online, but I guess everything does.

18. Have they ever caught you staring?

So so many times lmao I have lost count. Can you blame me though he is so pretty 😭

19. What was the most embarrassing thing you’ve done in front of them? (All of us have done some pretty embarrassing stuff, let’s be honest.)

I once put a piece of chocolate on his desk but got caught, like he didn’t say anything but he definitely saw me do it. Thankfully this was over two years ago, yet it does not make me cringe over it any less whenever I think about it help.

20. Do they make you feel safe/loved?

Safe - yes, at least I never feel uncomfortable around him except if I'm nervous about something. Loved - depends, sometimes he could act a bit cold towards me and I’d overthink it for the next century and a half, but our dynamic has improved a lot so that I feel more loved by him now (loved as in as a good student of course).

21. Have they ever rendered you speechless?

I lose my ability to speak properly when I’m with him so often, and on occasions when he does say something nice or out of the ordinary - like admitting to leaving in the summer - I tend to not be able to come up with anything in return.

22. Are they a good teacher?

Yes!!! It’s basically common knowledge that T is the best English teacher in our school, and he has been for years with the coming and going of numerous other English teachers. I really do not know how we would continue through the course when he is gone.

23. Is there something they do that gives you the ick?

I have never fully grasped what people mean by 'the ick', but I often dislike him never meeting his own deadlines, such as telling us we would get results back by a certain day and that day just ends up getting postponed again and again. I get that he is busy but he does this with so many things, saying he would do something by a specific time and not doing it, it makes me think he just doesn’t care as much about us or about me.

24. Are you guys close?

Ahhh I often wonder about this as well, and I would say yes? Before we went online I would talk to him almost every day, although always about school work, and we saw each other every day. Especially with him mentoring my essay now we also have occasional meetings and I have another excuse to talk to him. He is the type to not get super close with students, so I’m proud of where I have gotten with him.

25. Have you ever looked for their initial in those stupid TikToks that eight year olds make? (If you don’t have TikTok: do other students like your TC?)

I don’t have TikTok but now I’m intrigued- anyway, most people in his class really like him as a teacher, people not in his class may be a bit scared of him, and I don’t think anyone feels the way I do - fortunately >>

26. Have you ever dreamed about them?

Very often. Even if I can’t remember a dream in the morning I would feel as if his presence is still lingering in my mind.

27. Do you see yourself in a relationship with them?

I do fantasise about it sometimes (not ashamed), but realistically, we would never work out in a romantic relationship, probably even if he wasn’t married and all that.

28. Have you ever cried in front of them?

Nope, but I feel like it’s gonna happen one day. As messed up as it sounds, a part of me wants to know how he would react.

February TC Challenge (19 thru 21)

19. Describe you and your TC’s first encounter.

First day of my class with him when he called roll and called my name. Pretty mundane. I can’t for the life of me remember which name I used (sometime around then I started going by my middle name rather than my proper first name, but I can’t recall what I told him). I thought he was okay at first, but I guess my friends/co-workers gushing over him and saying he was “totally my type” put some high expectations on me.

20. What’s your favorite physical feature about your TC?

I would say....his eyes and the piercing stare they give. Then maybe his angled features. Then maybe his touchable hair.

21. What little things do you notice about your TC, that other students wouldn’t notice?

I’m not sure? I know he had a lot of little nervous ticks and such, but I wouldn’t know if I was the only one who noticed them. He had a bit of a hearing problem, as he would often cup his hand to his ear or ask students to repeat themselves.
