Rainy weather

   For what seemed like the 20th time this week Minhyuk bemoaned the fact that he lived in part of the world where summer was always accompanied by large amounts of rain. The air felt heavy and his shoes where soaked through. Again, he wondered if it wouldn't just be better to buy a car than having to rely on public transportation. But then where would he park?!? 

   The distance from his apartment to the small coffee shop he frequently met friends at was short enough that he could easily walk it with an umbrella, but there was no way in hell he was gonna walk to the other side of the city to get to work. The damn building’s on the other side of the river!! And for some reason the taxi’s just didn’t seem to want to stop for him today, adding to his current dislike of rain. 

   After what seemed like an hour of waiting, but in reality was closer to ten minutes, a taxi was finally slowing and pulling to a stop.... just down the street from him.... in front of a pretty girl. Of course. Steeling his courage, Minhyuk went over to her in his best ‘confidently casual’ walk. With a smile on his face he asked, “Excuse me, miss? If we’re headed in the same direction do you mind sharing the cab? I’ll split the fee.” Appologetically he added, "It seems they don't want to stop for me today."

He had been trying to perform an exercise, in this case, riding through a crowded sidewalk. Taking into account the possibility of people moving in order to adapt to a situation more quickly. But when those unpredictable movements send him crashing to the ground on top of a girl. Understandably he was angry at how badly he had screwed up. Sitting up off the ground and moving off the girl the angry man practically growled his apology for the mistake which he caused. “Sorry about that..”

      It wasn't even his cat, Kuroo was allergic to cats for heaven's sake, but he figured helping Bokuto look for it was less annoying than having him pester him to death. Which was how he found himself on the other side of town one Sunday afternoon, annoyed and cold more than anything.

He wouldn't have approached the girl had it not been for her camera—he gave up asking strangers for help after a particularly rude person—but maybe she had seen the stupid thing while she was taking pictures, or she at least had to have been looking at the scenery more than the casual passerby.  

"Hey, can I ask you something really quick?" he asked, tapping her shoulder and offering what he hoped was a kind smile, prepared for all the world for her to ignore him.

[❊] — As soon as Saitou approached his apartment room, he knew something was wrong. He could have sworn he had locked the door on the way out, but somehow it was ajar. 

Cautiously, Saitou pushed the door open the rest of the way, being careful to not make any noise.He moved through the space, each step light and measured. Papers - which had previously been stacked neatly on a table - were now scattered haphazardly across the floor. Not again.

This was not the first time his place had been left in such a state. It appeared that somehow a cat continued to find its way in. And he was fairly certain it belonged to his neighbour (after all, he could sometimes hear the animal meowing through the walls in the middle of the night).

Letting out a faint sigh, the man was just about to start cleaning up when he heard an odd sound. 

Keeping his steps as soundless as possible, Saitou crept towards the kitchen. His cobalt eyes widened monetarily in shock at the sight before him. The fridge was open, its door just resting against the flank of the culprit. 

The cat turned suddenly, its ears giving a flick. For second their eyes met. Then the cat lunged forward, as if intending to escape.

Before it could get far, Saitou shot towards it, scooping the furry bundle up into his arms. A fearsome hiss rolled from the back of the animal's throat as he quickly sprinted out of the apartment. It wriggled fiercely against his chest, desperate to get free. But Saitou did not let go.

With the animal pressed not un-gently against his chest, he used his free hand to knock on the neighbour's door. He had to explain the situation. Hopefully that would put an end to this.

    “Because It’s cold, and I can’t go swimming. It also brings bad memories… but.. I kinda like it too because, it’s calm and everything seems to go slower, it’s also in winter when I get to swim in the Samezuka indoors pool…”

It was a cold day in winter when Drake wandered about in the city. The sun already hung low as the afternoon progressed. Not many people were outside, since it was warmer inside buildings and cafés. The ground was really slippery because of the sploches of ice, which had formed earlier the day. Drake pulled up his shoulders, burying his hands in the pockets of his jacket to provide a bit more warmth. A few meters in front of him, walked a young woman, seemingly lost in thought. She seemed to want to cross the road and walked onto the street, but it looked like she didn't notice the splotch of ice and slipped. If she hadn't fallen in the middle of the street, Drake would have surely moved on, but he could already hear the oncoming car. So he speed-walked towards the girl, making sure he wouldn't slip himself, pulled her up and away from the street onto the sidewalk.

"That was dangerous! Are you okay?", he then asked, slightly concerned.

;- Hyun Ae had been assigned by her general to visit a few cities over only; she had never been to this city before. She found herself more lost than anything. She had a good sense of direction but she was still lost and she was growing hungry.

The soldier decided to stop a random blonde girl to perhaps get some recommendations and directions to that given food establishment. "Could I trouble you for a moment, ma'am?" Her voice was professional and monotone as she spoke.
