A mother and her kits.

Meet Featherdrift! A Queen of Wind’s Kin and mother to three throublesome kits!

The orange Tom kit Cricketkit! He is mostly mute, but that doesn’t stop him from playing! He has developed signs (not common in the kins quite yet) and his littermates and den mates have learned to interpret them.

The middle she kit is Lake kit! Don’t let her impaired hearing fool you, this little firecracker is the center of attention, often doted on by her mother and talking the loudest in the group. There’s always a light in those little mismatched eyes.

The black and white Tom kit, Thistlekit, is often seen around camp and the den with his eyes squinting. Even though the world is just a bunch of blurry shapes, he has a bright future as a Tunneler! His lack of sight in those blue eyes training his other senses just that bit extra!
