However, Ishizu manages to calm her brother's anger in a perhaps 'unorthodox' way. As thoughts and feelings regarding family rise to the surface, the already unconventional Ishtar Family realizes that things are different... in a good way.

shipping in the like 2008-2012ish yugioh fandom was CRAZY because every POSSIBLE ship had a name like obvi everyone knows thiefshipping but like people rock up like "i love puppyshipping!" and thats the joey and kaiba ship name cuz of how in season one whenever kaiba was making fun of him joey was shown to in a dog costume for some reason?? there was like... puzzleshipping, prideshipping, bronzeshipping, fearshipping.... there were so many you couldnt actually remember what they were called u had to just keep the wiki open at all times.

and then when i encountered other fandoms and they just specified their ships by naming the characters invovled i was like damn u are all boring smh

anyway i just found a random reference list online and they have 520 uniquely named ships from JUST the duel monsters characters. okay. i guess if i ever wanna ship rex raptor and ryuu bakura i know now that thats called marbleshipping.

EDIT: my year estimates are so bad here this was probably closer to 2005-2008 cuz i fell off the ygo fandom when i graduated high school for the most part.

L: Your favorite fanartist/author gives you one request, what do you ask for? That is actually hard. I have such self centered ideas of the characters that I RP as, that I realize, others likely feel very differently about them. I would probably ask them to display the character that is probably most centered as their muse and display them in the unique way they feel them as. Like a OneShot of their muse, very much being in tune with themselves or a drawing of them in their purest form, that is most themselves. Just the impression that gives them life. That is probably the most intense thing you can see... and also do. It costs a lot of energy. But that is what I would want to see the most.

Q: A ship you’ve abandoned and why. Well.... in all honesty, I used to Fearship at some point - since I never saw Mariku as a part of the Ishtar family per choice. But this shipping got out of hand for me and actually is the closest to incest one could see, so I have abandoned it by now. Also it was so fucking toxic >_>

I absolutely understand this shipping. I also think they deserve the best and I can SEE how they work together and I wish everybody the best happiness with shipping them. I personally wish I could feel anything when I look at thiefshipping... but it literally does nothing to me.

The yugioh fandom hates me specifically for naming yami bakura and jou frightshipping and making me constantly mess it up with fearshipping because the two are fucking synonyms that share the first letter so I have to GOOGLE it to make sure I have the right one every time because I don't want to get cancelled for accidental incest ship posting

Everyone is either in highschool or 21+. And there's every combo of ships between the two categories. Which also means the highschool girls are mildly specialized tho not as bad as other animes

I am decently sure I can make even the purest of ships problematic somehow with anti logic. What are they even shipping???

Wiggly is such a genius terror. Every time I start the musical, and the little pop-up says, ‘Wiggly is on sale now!’ I think ‘I want one’ and it’s only my sheer laziness that prevents me from clicking on that button and buying one until the end, when I finally realize ‘No you don’t!’.

But the real ingenuity is that every time a new monster doll is introduced, I think, ‘Oh, this one’s MUCH worse’, and ‘Fearship ended with Wiggly, now Nibbly is my worst nightmare’ and I think horrible thoughts like ‘I’d choose Wiggly over this any day’ which is exactly what the little bugger wants.
