did not have any great art of him. oh well. in any case this is luna-myr eisner (transmasc + any pronouns! you'll usually see me using he/they but anything is alright)! and while he is to a degree a self insert he's also very much like. an OC. because i like to write and that's just how i do self shipping i suppose. anyways further details below :3

self insert but also what you would call a bylethsona i suppose. definitely not exactly like canon byleth as you will see. comes paired with custom route i have deemed seafoam star

was sort of half-conscious growing up until sothis awoke. capable of feeling emotion, but cannot truly express them and experiences everything through somewhat of a haze

only people he really had growing up were jeralt (who is his dad ofc) and whatever animals hung out wherever they were staying. was generally not around people his age and even when they were nobody wanted to engage with him because of his "odd" behavior. even adults were put off by him

autistic. who would i be if i did not make my SI autistic

quite merciful for a mercenary. capable of being brutal, but it is reserved for the truly deplorable; for example, often lets thieves trying to steal from well-off folk to keep themselves or their loved ones alive go in secret. does not see these acts of survival as worthy of punishment. wishes he could help them more. however, people are generally not aware of this and are more likely to have heard about the aforementioned brutality.

though they didn't have much choice in taking the monastery job, he was generally okay with it, if not confused. It was their first time in a setting surrounded by so many people his age consistently. understood why seteth did not trust him.

time powers work more in-depth than with canon byleth. can of course use divine pulse, but this also comes with an unusually acute perception of time and the occasional ability to have visions of the past and possible futures. since his body is still technically mortal, these visions often make him feel faint if not entirely pass out. These visions can be shared via touch.

genuinely does not understand what the hell is going on, particularly early game. people seem to think he does or that he's hiding something — he is not. they are just learning to express the confusion they feel.

more visibly nabatean than canon byleth after fusing with sothis. pointed ears and reptilian pupils come alongside the green hair. possibly has a few scales here and there on his body as well. claws (and i'm talking CLAWS not just long nails) and fangs. dragon form that he is entirely unaware of until much later. the sort of "transformation" into being more visibly nabatean was like. Painful and lasted roughly a week

teaches all three classes and has a significant connection with them all, but is the homeroom teacher of/is the closest with the golden deer (think like... the teachers rotate who they teach basically. but each have a homeroom they are tied to/spend more time with)

did not even have a chance to choose a side between edelgard and rhea. would not have killed edelgard at rhea's request regardless and approaches her about it before the imperial attack on the monastery to ask if there is any other way. rhea was upset by the idea that he did not side with her unconditionally. they did not want to kill either of them

loves rhea, but does not trust her. Very confused by her actions and only wants the truth from her. Sees her as somewhat of a motherly figure, ironically.

likes drawing, creating jewelry (usually out of bone), sewing, and carving (usually sets of dice). like sitri, loves flowers and will be delighted to see unusual ones. his favorites are any kind of lily. has an affinity for stuffed animals as well

big fan of moths especially luna moths if that was not apparent. goes to see them out in the wild yearly in the short span of time that they are active

also bonus dragon form where he's a weird horsemothlizard as well as a better demonstrarion of the fact that they have straight up Claws. that's all i've got for now. cheers

way back when, sometime after I finished my first playthrough of pokemon scarlet, I brought back some of my old OCs and completely re-made them because the brainrot reached critical mass...

didn’t wanna take the student route so I made my OCs academy faculty members instead (librarians)!

Their names are Raine and Fatima. Raine is a Contest Coordinator hopeful and Fatima is a Dark-type specialist who wants to become a trainer again after previously retiring.

Raine is one of my oldest OCs ever, so I really wish I could have done her justice and made more art for her, especially by completing her full-body ref. My chronic pain won yet again..

Especially with only two episodes worth of knowledge."

I Wish You Were My Husband (AO3) - "Wherein Shen Yuan transmigrates into a harem intrigues romance novel (gay edition), Yue Qingyuan really fucks up, Liu Qingge is not suitable for his job, and no one even remotely sees Luo Binghe coming."

The Goddess of Death (AO3) - "The Goddess of Death in the MCU and Norse myths, replaced by a mortal girl from Earth who's just trying her best to survive in a war-torn universe. An anomaly, but not necessarily a bad thing."

An Idiots Guide to saving Fódlan (SB) - "In hindsight though, Byleth Eisner should have known things would go pear-shaped when the Goddess called it 'Plan Desperation'. On the plus side, at least she'd have company as history went to hell."

Charles Dance Saves Westeros (FF) - "Will the actor prove an improvement over the original Tywin? Another not so self insert into Westeros; which ever needs saving, because readers will never find a more wretched world of scum and villainy than this."

Bonus: Magical Me (FF) - "Most self-inserts are exercises in vanity, and nothing says 'vanity' quite like Gilderoy Lockhart. But with a new personality and knowledge of the future, who knows? Maybe Lockhart will turn out to be a useful DADA teacher after all."

Ok but like can someone explain this for me

When I was playing Three Houses, I didn’t have a strong attachment to Byleth and whenever I played the other routes I always alternated marrying people and whatnot, but like,

Some people got really attached to Byleth and whoever they married Byleth to first playthrough they just couldn’t marry Byleth off to someone else because they couldn’t separate them from said character *cough* Dimitri *cough* (that’s the one I’ve seen the most). And like, I never understood that? Byleth just didn’t have a personality in Three Houses and the relationships felt very one-sided and I just never understood people who said that?

All the other Fire Emblem avatars: Robin, Shez, Alear, and Corrin I could understand completely and I have my own personal ships for them because of their dynamics with other characters, but Byleth? Not at all, and any Byleth ship just feels like they’re relying on them and since Byleth doesn’t talk it just didn’t help

Now in Three Hopes, I can understand Byleth more (somewhat) and now I can sorta maybe ship Byleth since they actually talk and show a bit of personality. But before it came out and it was only Three Houses, I never got what people said about the Byleth ships at all

Idk it might just be me but I never cared for Byleth during Three Houses and now I care about them somewhat as a character because of Three Hopes

❀ catalina often indulges herself in tokens of her childhood, surrounding herself and relishing in it

❀ an old stuffed bear can be found in her dorm room, still kept as clean and prim as it possibly could considering its age, but that yellow ribbon seems new…

❀ her lost items reflect this want for regression the best one of those items being an old children’s book of fables written in a foreign language

❀ that book is one of catalina’s most prized possessions, reading it to herself nearly every night even in her older age

❀ how could she not cherish it? in such a new place it felt like the only thing of normalcy, in a language she knew like the back of her hand instead of one where she struggled on nearly every word

❀ a flower sketch can also be found around the monastery with studious notes scrawled on the side regarding its practical uses and the less practical symbolism and meanings behind it

❀ her many days spent in the greenhouse, attempting to recognize any flowers that may have appeared in her grandmother’s garden back home, sprung into a passion for the study in all matters relating to the flora

❀ but catalina’s childish indulgences won’t ever come first, there’s real work to be done that isn’t such a waste of time

❀ i guess it’s up to someone else to convince her that her own passions and aspirations matter just as much as anyone else’s
