The dimileth trick or treat made it tumblr finally 🙌 And here's my Little Ashen Riding Hood AU in a FEH style :D Dimitri's a werewolf (Because in this house like any other's we love werewolves) And Byleth's companion. Byleth is half human half *insert some sort of fantasy entity... or perhaps just a dragon and call it a day* and they protect monsters from evil humans who want to exterminate them (╯°□°）╯︵ ┻━┻ There's Rhea, Byleth's grandma, who gives Byleth that crossbow (inspired in the immaculate one) and she's pretty much a huntress. There's also Edelgard who's the actual red riding hood, and the rest is up to y'all. Extra thing. Since Byleth is covering most of Dimitri, I am sharing here too the individual arts :V

Aren't they cute? She's just trying to return lost items 😔, but for some reason, people get scared. Who knows why...

Triangle Strategy is an amazing game, folks. If you’re into tactical RPGs at all, I’d highly recommend it.

Anyways, here’s a lil’ crossover art for all of you Zelda/tactical RPG folks: Flora (BotW/TotK Zelda) and Frederica Aesfrost had a swell time discussing various worlds, histories, and timelines. Turns out the Zelda series in particular has a lot of time shenanigans going on (wow, who would have guessed 😆)

I think one of the funniest arguments I've seen in FE Twitter for why Nabateans should be ruling and hold authority over the inferior race is probably how their age and lived experience makes them most fit to rule when the US just went over the issue of its running candidates for leadership becoming increasingly old.

Like yeah, there are old people who through lived experiences and age have gained alot of insights and wisdom, but then there is also your insane grandpa who is angry at kids day and age playing with their Minecrafts instead of working in the mines from 4am to 10pm.

Rhea is a person who gets so insanely angry over her science fair necromancy experiment siding with the evil red lady and her now losing the war, that against every offer to surrender or resolve this war with her dignity and life intact, she instead has the biggest german kid temper tantrum in gaming history and orders to burn an entire civilian city she and her remaining troops currently inhabit and which gave them refuge for 5 years. I wouldn't trust Rhea to take care of my cat without burning the town I live in to the ground because he wouldn't let her pet him.

Congratulations to Golden Deer Banner for winning the Video Game Flag Wars!

It won against Commune of Revachol from Disco Elysium in an extremely close poll with 52.3 percent of the vote. The Golden Deer Banner comes from the Nintendo Switch game Fire Emblem: Three Houses and is the banner of the Golden Deer, one of the three student houses at the Garreg Mach Monastery Officers Academy. Out of every flag from any video game, this flag now reigns supreme.

This tournament was the longest one I’ve ever held! It also had so many close results to polls. The next tournament will be announced tomorrow.

Feel free to delete since Three Houses discourse isn't allowed but the phrase "not just kills. but murders." lives in the rotted recesses of my brain. One day I'm going to say it like it's a normal reference and then how do I explain it's from Twitter discourse over anime chess.

part of my fondness for Dedue does stem from how reticent he is towards the player

he barely exchanges a few sentences with Byleth in his C-support. it's not until his B-support with Byleth that he talks about his past, and even then, his affect remains flat. "I do not know why I am telling you all of this" -- when all he's said is that he had a sister, and she liked this flower, and seeing it brings back 'memories.' he scowls when he says it, but he doesn't say what those memories are, or how he feels about them.

this stands out dramatically, in a game where most characters readily tell the player intimate details of their past and feelings. Dedue isn't the only one to comment on it -- but when it took him so long to say anything at all, it feels more earned. it gives the impression that Dedue has needed to talk about his sister, and what these flowers mean to him; by matching his silences, and not pressuring him to speak, Byleth has become someone he can tell.

it feels like slowly earning his trust, becoming someone he feels safe talking to, letting him open up at his own pace -- and validating that trust when he does open up, not taking it as permission to demand more.

i like that Dedue retains some agency of his own towards the player, rather than turning into a backstory dispenser. i like that he makes the player work to get to know him, and even then retains his own firm boundaries. it really sets him apart
