FE3H + School Live!: The Timeskip (Dimitri Edition)

Dimitri falls to his knees, body weak from exhaustion and hunger. A nearly broken lance gripped in his hands as he panted, out of breath. The bandages he had haphazardly wrapped around his eye stung and itched. The wound surely infected, at least from the way it felt so painful.

He had to keep moving. Fight. Destroy them all, tear them piece by piece! Until their very life’s blood soaked the earth!

...Only when the vengeance that the voices had been calling for had been achieved, would he allow himself to rest.

“Dimitri? Is that you?” A voice he hadn’t heard in a long time called out to him. The Dimitri from five years ago would have stood at attention, glad to see a friendly face after so long. But not anymore. He couldn’t allow himself that hope anymore.

If the monastery hadn’t looked as destroyed as it did, he would’ve believed himself to be imagining things.

“Dimitri?” The prince hears her footsteps behind him, stopping just a few feet shy from him.

He raises his lance in her direction, a snarl on his lips as he nearly shouts, “Stay back pretender! Otherwise, I will strike you down where you stand!”

Megumi Sakura stood still before her student, eyes wide with shock, and Dimitri didn’t know if he wanted to laugh or cry.

Instead of doing either, the exhaustion overtook his body, and Dimitri collapsed as Megu-nee’s voice called out to him in a panicked scream.

Soon the prince knows nothing else after that.
