I update this post every month with updated rates based on the week prior's values. If there is an uptick in expensive cats, the value of the dollars go down. When using any currencies tagged "alt currency" on kittybroker, I use the most recent post as an example.

Remembering means fighting! Transpiaktion zur 25. Jährung der Pogrome in Rostock- Lichtenhagen!

Zum 25. Mal jähren sich in diesen Tagen die rassistischen Pogrome von Rostock-Lichtenhagen.

Mit zwei Transparenten, welche wir über einer viel befahrenen Kreuzung in Karlsruhe aufgehängt haben, rufen wir dieses Ereignis in Erinnerung. Tagelange Angriffe auf Geflüchtete und sogenannte Fremdarbeiter*innen prägten eine ganze Woche im August 1992. Mit Steinen und Molotowcocktails wurden Menschen beworfen und Häuser, in denen diese wohnten.

Staatliche Behörden sahen sich nicht in der Lage einzugreifen und schauten mehrere Tage zu, wiesich der rassistische Mob aus Nazis, Rassisten und Bürgern austobte. Die Konsequenz, welche aus den Pogromen Anfang der neunziger Jahre gezogen wurde, war die faktische Abschaffung des Rechts auf Asyl. Die Politik ist vor dem Mob auf die Knie gefallen.

Über zwanzig Jahre später tobt er wieder...

Die letzten zwei Jahre sind geprägt von rassistischer und nationalistischer Stimmungsmache. Tägliche Angriffe auf Asylunterkünfte und Geflüchtete führten auch dieses Mal dazu, dass die übriggebliebenen rechtlichen Grundlagen zum Schutz vor Verfolgung weiter eingeschränkt wurden und die Festung Europa, wie sich in diesen Tagen zeigt, gar mittels Unterstützung durch Warlords verteidigt wird.

Mit Rassismus und Nationalismus zum Wahlerfolg?

Waren es in den neunziger Jahre die Republikaner, die von der Pogromstimmung profitierten, so versucht heute die AfD die rassistisch und nationalistisch aufgeladene Stimmung für sich zu nutzen. Doch nicht nur die AfD bedient sich dieser menschenfeindlichen Politik. Quer durch die Parteienlandschaft wird versucht diese zu vereinnahmen, um dem eigenen Machtanspruch gerecht zu werden. I've just completed my Winter Project #2, the rebuild / upgrade of my 1997 Trek Y11. Originally, I planned to just replace the TREK decals that were damaged, rebuild the fork, do new cables & housings, and that was about it. Over the last several months, it turned in to much more than that. It is now essentially a complete XT build. I'm really happy with how it turned out. I have yet to get it fully dialed on the trail - the saddle tilt isn't right in this photo (it needs to point nose down), I need to find the right ProPedal setting for the Fox Float shock (I replaced the one I had on there as I'm rebuilding it and making it my backup), and there are a bunch of other things to tweak. I'm sure some of this spec will change as I find out what works on the trail. I even have all the parts needed to return it completely to stock if I want. The way it is configured now, it should be about 23 pounds fully kitted, haven't weighed it yet. Was 24.7 pounds at the start of the project.

Bianchi Oltre XR4購入の話【2】

ついに出来上がったオーダーカラーのオルトレXR4。

見た目と性能と予算とにらめっこしつつ、パーツを吟味していきます。

■ホイールについて

迷ったらとりあえずSPINERGY。なにせスポークまで鮮やかなピンクですからね。

エアロなフレームにあわせて、きしめんスポークにセミディープなカーボンリムを組み合わせた、SPINERGY ステルスFCC3.2を選びました。

毎回ピンク一色でもマンネリ化してしまうので、今回は部分的に黒を入れてみました。

フレームとの色味も思ったよりマッチしていて一安心。

ちなみに、スピナジーのカラーバリエーションとして黄緑色もあるのですが、ビアンキの緑というよりキャノンデールかメリダの緑に合いそうな色です。

せっかくなのでチェレステカラーも出してほしいものですね。

■コンポーネントについて

私は、たまたま一番最初に選んだロードバイクがDE ROSA R848という、カンパニョーロ ベローチェで組まれた完成車だったため、その後もカンパニョーロ派として生きていたのですが、せっかくユンボ・ヴィスマの選手のみなさんがシマノのデュラエースを使っているので、むしろここはあえてお揃いにしたほうが雰囲気が出るのでは…

というわけで、シマノを使ってみることにしました。

ちなみに、予算の都合上ふわっとアルテグラを混ぜつつ、目立つ部分はデュラエースのような、ハッタリ構成にしてみました。

ある日突然石油王になったら、全部デュラエースにしますね…

■その他のパーツ

ケーブルは大好きな日泉ケーブルにしました。

カラーバリエーション豊富で性能も良いという、もはや隙がないケーブルですね。

タイヤはコンチネンタルのGP5000、チューブはパナレーサーのR'AIRを使用。

チューブのバルブ長は48ミリでちょうどいい感じでした。

ハンドルはワンバイエスのジェイカーボンモンロー。

カ��ボンハンドルで非常に小さいサイズのものがあるので有り難いです。

ステムはイーストンのEA90SL。

ガーミンマウントをすっきり取り付けられるマウントが付属しているのですが、

今の所eTrex派の私なので、マウントはしばらく出番がなさそうです…

■ちょっとした問題発生

諸々決まって、あとはお任せするだけ、という段になって、自転車屋さんから

「クランクとフロントディレイラーを取り付けてみたところ、フレームの直付け台座の位置が高すぎて、フロントディレイラーの羽根とチェーンリングの歯先の間がシマノの規定以上に大きく空いてしまいます」との連絡が。

このままではチェーン落ちなどのリスクが高まってしまうようです。

どうやら、プロがレースで使用することを前提にしているフレームというだけあって、軽い力で漕ぐためにコンパクトクランクを付けるというのは考慮されていない��計のようです。

とはいえそこは知識豊富なサイクルキューブさん。

スギノ　MT-OX Adjustable FD MOUNTというアダプターを使えば調整が可能とのご提案をいただき、無事にコンパクトクランクを安心して使える自転車になりました。

というわけで、オルトレ号の完成です！

The submitter of 510 (k) for the sale of medical devices in U.S. market can be a domestic manufacturer, specification developer, re-packer or re-labeler and foreign manufacturer/exporter

As per medical devices amendment of 1976, manufacturer of class II and class III devices need to submit PMA for all changes in device that affect safety and effectiveness under new section 515 (d)(6) of FDA Modernization act

Fertility rapid test devices are classified under 21 CFR, section 862.1300 as Follicle Stimulating hormone test systems and section 862.1485 as Luteinizing hormone test system

As per amendment of May 2000, these devices are exempted from premarket notification in subpart E of part 807, chapter I of FD& C Act

Shimano faz o lançamento de novos componentes para os grupos Deore XT, SLX, Deore, Alivio, Acera e Altus, ampliando as possibilidades para o pedal off-road e trekking. Confira:

Série Deore M6000 - Projetado com foco em performance e lazer, o novo Deore M6000 é dedicado aos entusiastas do mountain bike e de trekking, mountain bikers que usam a bicicleta para mobilidade e ciclistas de lazer que curtem o ar livre e precisam de componentes que resistam a estradões duros, chuva, areia e as piores condições que a natureza pode apresentar. O grupo Shimano Deore M6000 continua como um sistema de 10 velocidades, porém, com adição de características inovadoras para um pedal confortável, suave e flexível de infinitas possibilidades. O sistema de transmissão 2x10 (FC-M6000) adota o visual da família do XTR, XT e SLX, com um pedivela incrível de 4 braços Hollowtech II e tipo one-piece em compósito, com projeto em três opções de configuração (38-28D, 36-26D, 34-24D). Vem ainda com uma versão alternativa de 3mm de Q-factor, para quadros com cubo traseiro 148mm (Boost). Enquanto isso, o pedivela de 3x10 tem um visual agressivo e único, oferecendo uma combinação de 40-30-22D para uma ampla gama de estilos de pedalada. Ambos pedivelas combinam com um novo cassete Dyna-Sys (CS-HG500), de grande amplitude de marchas (11-42D) de 10 velocidades, possui mais três opções de configuração: 11-36/34/32D. Os sistemas de mudanças de marcha em combinações de 2x10 e 3x10 são feitos por um câmbio traseiro Shadow RD+ (RD-M6000-GS), que fornece maior estabilidade e retenção da corrente. Nas trocas dianteiras, três opções de câmbio com top, down e side swing, podem ser combinadas com cinco tipos de opção de montagem: high (alta), low (baixa), direct mount, E-type e o novo mid-type, para oferecer mais opções de rota do cabo de câmbio e ajudar a novas características de montadoras de bicicletas, como por exemplo para se adequar a suspensões traseiras e distância do pneu. As trocas de marcha são feitas com alavancas Rapidfire Plus (SL-M6000) com display para observação da marcha escolhida. Novos freios a disco hidráulicos oferecem controle com manetes Servo wave de alta potência (BL-M6000), além de pinças de freio com isolamento térmico (BR-M6000) projetadas para acolher pastilhas de freio Ice Technologies. Os cubos (HB-M6000/10, FH-M6000/10) completam o grupo com opção de eixo E-Thru de 100x15mm na frente e montagem centerlock para fácil e rápida instalação dos rotores. Novidades para componentes Non-series de MTB - A linha de rodas foi expandida com dois novos modelos de 29" e 27.5" Deore XT, com opções e-thru mais ampla. As rodas dianteiras são mais rígidas com aumento de 10mm na largura e eixo e-thru de 110x15, enquanto as rodas traseiras são 6mm mais amplas com eixos de 148x12. Novos eixos traseiros e-thru (AX-MT700 e AX-MT500) são mais leves e com dimensões menores do corpo para uma folga maior com relação ao quadro e pinças de freio. Em termos de sistema de transmissão de marcha, um novo cassete com gama mais ampla de 11-46D (CS-M7000) foi apresentado para configurações de 1x11. Em nível similar ao novo grupo Deore vem um novo pedivela 2x11 tipo two-piece de 36-26D (FC-MT600) cujos dentes da coroa possuem tratamento anti-abrasão e trocas de marcha Dyna-Sys nas versões para Boost (Q-factor de 3mm) e Standard, assim como um pedivela 2x10 com configuração closer-step de 36-26D (FC-MT500). Em combinação com o pedivela FC-MT500 vem um conjunto de freio a disco hidráulico (BR-MT500) como uma versão non-series do Deore BR-M6000. Novos pedais duplos SPD (PD-ED500) também vieram para oferecer uma pedalada de ação leve, de nível Deore. Novas opções de Sistema de marchas para Alivio, Acera e Altus - Os ciclistas que pedalam com grupos nível Alivio (M4000) e Acera (M3000) por trilhas e meias distâncias urbanas, possuem agora a opção de um pedivela de velocidade 2x9, com especificação de 36-22D (FC-M4050 tipo two-piece ou FC-M3000 tipo ponta quadrada) com linha de corrente de 3mm de tolerância para acomodar pneus de tamanhos maiores.

Novos cassetes Hyperglide de 9 velocidades, combinação de 11-36D (CS-HG400/201-9), com trocadores de ação rápida (SL-M4010/M3010-L) e câmbios dianteiros side swing (FD-MT400-E/D) com maior folga para pneus, completam o grupo de componentes. Enquanto isso, no nível do Altus (M2000) uma nova engrenagem (9ª velocidade) MEGALITE dá total controle nesse estiloso sistema de marchas de 3x9 velocidades. O Pedivela 40-30-22D combina com um cassete maior de 11-36D resistente à oxidação (CS-HG200-9/201-9) e um novo câmbio traseiro com tecnologia Shadow RD fornece uma posição compacta mais protegida.
