Connection Description:

Jasmine is a necromancer/dark magic witch. When she was younger, she brought two different people back from the dead and has spent the rest of her life having to pay the price. In order to bring someone back from the dead, the necromancer must sacrifice a life for a life only they don’t get to choose whose life is taken. Instead, at some point down the line, Death will come and claim the life of someone the necromancer loves (final destination style). When Jasmine was 16, Death claimed the life of her mother and now Death has come to claim the life of your character.

Your character is Jasmine's adopted sibling. She was adopted into the Delaney-Lopez family after the death of her mom. Your character's dads (Manuel & Samuel Delaney-Lopez) were family friends of Jasmine's mom and were planning to help Jasmine and her mother get to Lunar Cove seeing that Jasmine was raised in a dark coven that went against the accords and the official Lunar Cove Coven. Her biological father, Silas Chamberlain (the Reed family's father) was a notorious criminal who got himself arrested in human prison to avoid being punished by the Council.

Jasmine and her mother were trying to get out of the Dark Coven. But, when your character's parents found Jasmine she was all on her own and she refused to speak about what happened to her mother.

Your character's father, Samuel Delaney-Lopez (a witch), was an old flame of Jasmine's mom, Violet. They dated back in High School and although they fell out of touch, they couldn't not help when Violet reached out. Only to their dismay they found themselves with a teenager to look after and Violet missing.

Your character's other dad, Manuel (a werewolf), was hesitate to take Jasmine in given the circumstances and the fact that they already had three kids while living in an apartment in Queens - your character, Tommy (biological child) & Noel (adopted child). But, they ended up growing to love Jas the moment she stayed under their roof. Your character's parents would later end up adopting Jasmine officially when she was 17.

Jasmine is the oldest out of the Delaney-Lopez's and I'm totally up for plotting their dynamic. Your character could have been adopted like Noel or biologically related to one of their parents depending on FC.

Your character would be someone Jas is incredibly close with, despite Jasmine being fairly distant to most everyone else in her life. I imagine she would have been distant starting out with your character as well and very quiet for those first few weeks, seeing that Jasmine used to be afraid to get close to people/had just witnessed the death of her mom. Your character could have been excited to have a new sibling or wary of Jas who was disturbing the existing family dynamic, but warmed up over time.

Jas was always on edge growing up about the curse and, likely would have held off telling your character about it for a long time, before finally opening up. To appease her mind (its up to you if they actually believed in the curse and were afraid of dying as well or if they didn't think it would truly ever claim them), you started to take vampire blood just in case. No one knew if the V would act as a loophole for the curse or not, but low and behold, the curse was triggered, death came to claim your character's life and you died, waking up a newly turned vampire.

I'm open to plotting out when your character turned. They could have turned a full year ago or a few weeks ago. When they died is completely up to you, but after turning they would have found their way to Lunar Cove. It's up to you how your character would feel about Jas now after the curse was trigger, but both of their lives have been irrevocably changed now for better or worse.

Jas’ biological father, Silas Chamberlain, will also be returning at some point as a temporary villain which could add another layer to their family dynamic.

Rosita grew up in the faerie realm with her parents and twin sister. She liked running around, she was care free and was always smiling and laughing, but her parents quickly put a stop to that. Her family seemed to be a bit different than most. Everything that was beautiful about being a faerie seemed to be prohibited in her house. They preferred to be stiff and formal, even with their own children that they didn’t seem to even like. It was obvious that they only had kids to shape them into tools and any imperfection was punished. Her sister was the favorite because she was good at everything, but Rosita wasn’t. Rosita always had this obsession with the human world. Maybe it was because she was never allowed in it, but she kept dreaming about it. It was very obvious what her parents thought about the humans. They thought they should fear them and she learned to act like she shared their disdain of them. Her parents were strict and she would’ve never even think about disobeying them. It just wasn’t in her nature. But it was clearly in her twin sister’s nature.

Arabella was constantly going and making her lie about it. Which made her feel terrible because she and all the faeries in her family were born without the ability to lie. She had to go around it, but she wasn’t an expert like her sister was. She would often just avoid her parents until they didn’t have any questions.  

When she turned 17, her sister thought she was ready to come with her to the human world. Rosita had a lot of expectations and she loved how free she immediately felt and how it didn’t seem like she had to always be in control here. Her sister’s favorite hobby was to trick humans and to get things from them without giving a lot in returns. The twins weren’t able to break promises, but her sister always found loopholes in everything. While they were out, a year after her first time, they met with bad people and didn’t have their magic to protect themselves. Rosita tried everything, but she lost her sister that night. She tried to come back home and explain what happened, but her parents didn’t want anything to do with her. They were disappointed and told her that they needed time to mourn the only daughter that could’ve ever made them proud. She was banned from ever coming back home because she was a big disappointment and that’s when she moved to Greywood. She now despises humans, she blame them all for her sister’s death. She’s not the happy and innocent woman she used to be. She had to deal with her sister’s loss alone and she decided to do everything alone from then on. She doesn’t trust anyone and only wants what’s best for herself.

PARTE DOS: BIOGRAFÍA. 

nace a varios cientos de kilómetros de real del valle, específicamente en phoenix, arizona, lugar donde sus padres se establecieron una vez su hermana mayor llegó al mundo. visita el lugar natal de sus progenitores de tanto en tanto: celebraciones, festejos familiares. mas nunca llega a conectar totalmente con el mismo, supone que está demasiado acostumbrada a su ciudad como para cambiar de ambiente permanentemente a uno así, o eso es al menos lo que ella cree. 

no destaca mucho en nada y poco le llama completamente la atención. cree llevar una vida monótona y sin sentido en comparación con los que se rodea, nunca termina por sentirse cómoda. es en su adolescencia que comienza a desarrollar un especial gusto por el arte, mismo que se transforma en pasión con el correr de tiempo y luego descubre que, para su sorpresa, es bastante buena pintando. entonces comienza a armarse planes en la mente: estudios, viajes, un futuro en ese ámbito. pero entonces la vida le depara otro destino.  

[tw: mención de muerte] su padre fallece de forma inesperada en un accidente que termina por desarmar todo lo que la familia ha ido creando desde su llegada. la inestabilidad económica las azota y ve como su hermana mayor pospone su futuro para poder apoyar lo poco que les queda. entonces se da cuenta de algo que termina por romperla: sus planes tampoco serían posibles. desecha la idea de estudiar, su familia necesitaba dinero y no pinturas.

la noticia de la enfermedad de su abuelo les cae como balde de agua fría. sabe cuál era la decisión que debían tomar así que es la primera en ofrecerse en regresar a real del valle para cuidar de él, sabiendo bien que no sería cosa fácil y que la relación con el mayor podría no ser la mejor de todas, especialmente luego de su transición. pero decide que lo hará de todas formas, para retribuir lo que ambas le han entregado para alcanzar su felicidad plena, por el cariño que le tiene a su abuelo y como forma de liberar a su hermana para que pudiera continuar con sus planes. 

cuando margo termina mudándose a real del valle, le apoya desde el inicio con su idea de la cafetería, trabajando allí varios turnos a la semana y así poder ayudar a que ésta prospere.

She tried to be alone for a few years, tricking people into getting her what she wanted, but after a while it became exhausting and she decided to take the job as Bellamy’s personal makeup artist.
