Hijo de May y Henry Stoll, y sus primeros años fueron maravillosos, cuando Luke tenía 9 años su padre los abandono, Luke aun no sabe el porqué, pero esto marco mucho al pequeño de rubios cabellos, el cual antes solía ser más confiado pero junto con la partida de su padre se fue también aquella confianza. Y también después de este evento es que Luke y su madre se mudaron a Crystal Clove.

Desde muy pequeño le gusto la cocina y a la edad de 15 años decidió volverse Vegano, y por ende se especializó en este tipo de cocina. Estudio en el Instituto Culinario de Savannah Georgia y posteriormente tomo cursos en Europa.

Cuando termino sus estudios, regresó a Crystal Cove para apoyar a su madre y no tardó en poner su restaurante donde ofrece versiones veganas de muchas comidas internacionales.

Suele ser muy amable con todos y no es fácil notar la inseguridad que suele tener sobre si mismo.

Le encanta entrenar por lo que el chico esta en buena forma, es muy común encontrarlo corriendo en las mañana por el barrio.

Tenía solo 4 años, cuando una noche en sus sueños presenció cómo su abuelo materno, sufría un accidente cayendo por las escaleras para quedarse sin vida. El pequeño de rubios cabellos y ojos azules se despertó gritando y solo podía decir que su abuelo se había caído y que los necesitaban. Los Coëllman se dictaban de ser una de las familias más conservadoras de todo Saarbrücken, Alemania, hasta que Varick el mayor de los hijos de la familia se enamoró de May Grace, una norteamericana a la que conoció cuando esta tomaba un año de la universidad en la cuidad, esta acción, así como la de pedirle matrimonio volvió a Varick en la oveja negra de toda la familia, y realmente no aceptaban al nuevo miembro y tal vez no lo hubieran hecho si no fuera por el hecho que no tardaron en descubrir que al igual que toda la familia, la extrajera poseía magia.  Esto logro limar un poco las asperezas que el matrimonio había generado, y logró que no fueran exiliados y que el hijo de Varick y May fuera aceptado en la familia, a pesar de que May y Varick también insistieron en ponerle un nombre anglosajón.

Al ser una de las familias más reconocidas en la magia dentro de aquella cuidad muchos recurrirán tentando a su suerte, e incluso también eran conocidos por estar ligados a otra familia de brujos de dudosa fama en la cuidad, al grado que desde hace años habían unido lazos casando al hijo de estos con la hija de los Coëllman, y ambas familias eran también conocidas por la severidad con la que trataban a sus descendientes, así como por el arte que estas creaban, rara era la casa que no tenía una de las pinturas de alguno de sus miembros. Pero Varick nunca estuvo de acuerdo, y siempre educó a su hijo de manera diferente e incluso siempre le enseño a que no debía seguir el ejemplo de sus tíos, y abuelos, y el pequeño Luke lo aprendió muy bien, tanto que toda la familia lo consideraba el raro de esta. Pero aquello no fue lo único que Luke aprendió de su padre, sino también a defender a quien no podía defenderse pues a pesar de que trataban de ocultárselo, el menor presenciaba varias de las peleas familiares por todos los asuntos, en especial el bienestar de su primo.

A pesar de la rivalidad tan palpable entre Varick y su familia, su hijo estudió varios años en la academia de sus tíos donde se perfecciono en las artes principalmente de la pintura, aunque no era de sus actividades favoritas, pues Luke siempre asociaba el arte a todas las tradiciones familiares y la perfección que esta le exigía y sobre todo como él y sus padres no parecían encajar del todo, pero seguía asistiendo por dos motivos, así evitaba los conflictos familiares, y podía seguir en contacto con la única persona que le importaba de todos aquellos con los que compartía lazos sanguíneos: su primo.

A pesar de que a ojos externos todo parecía ir bien en la familia las cosas no tardaron en explotar cuando Luke solo tenía 15 años, sucedió un gran altercado, que acabo con su primo gravemente lastimado por un hechizo, y su padre finalmente recurriendo a la violencia física en contra de su cuñado. Aquella pelea rompió la relación de los Coëllman-Grace con el resto de los miembros, y todo hubiera quedado ahí si no fuera porque a los pocos días de eso al no poder dejar su rabia atrás, Luke fue a buscar a sus tíos y abuelo paterno, para decirles por fin cuanto los despreciaba, como creía que sus métodos eran los peores, que los consideraba personas desalmadas y que se avergonzaba de tener la misma sangre que ellos, y que nunca perdonaría todo lo que habían hecho. Aquel enfrentamiento claramente tuvo consecuencias, pues su abuelo paterno considero una falta de respeto imperdonable y por lo que hizo que con una señal su tío pronto atacara con su magia generándole una herida que iba desde su ceja hasta la parte superior de la mejilla en el lado izquierdo de su rostro, misma que le dejaría una cicatriz de por vida.

Cuando llegó a casa con la herida su madre se escandalizo y pensó que aquello era lo único que les faltaba es que lastimaran así a su hijo, y si no fuera porque ahora su sobrino estaba resguardado en su casa haría que se fueran todos a Estados Unidos, con su familia, pues esta nunca los tratarían así Por lo que único que les quedaba por hacer era deslindarse de la familia de Varick, exiliándose y no queriendo nunca más tener contacto con ellos, claramente aquello era difícil en especial porque todos sabían quiénes eran, así que por el bien de su hijo May decidió después de dos años llevárselo a Estados Unidos, y solo veía a su padre en ciertas ocasiones pues este no quería abandonar a su sobrino.

Desde entonces Luke estuvo viviendo en Washington, e incluso empezó a usar más el apellido de su madre que el de su padre, quería dejar todo lo vivido en Alemania atrás a pesar de que su rostro tuviera un recuerdo permanente de este tiempo, y una vez en el país de su madre sentía que podía ser el mismo, y fue entonces cuando empezó a sentir que nunca más quería estar ligado a un solo lugar, el quería conocer el mundo, viajar y sobre todo vivir libre.

Los años pasaron y Luke seguía con sus sueños, e incluso su familia volvía a estar junta cuando en sus 22 años su padre por fin decidió mudarse a Estados Unidos con ellos, y fue entonces cuando el menor de la familia pudo cumplir su sueño y empezó a viajar tanto como quería, llenando sus memorias de aventuras que esperaba borraran los recuerdos de su niñez y adolescencia, solventando sus gastos haciendo de Medium a quien lo necesitara y muy rara vez vendiendo alguna pintura (ya que el pintar era lo único que seguía conservando de su tiempo en la academia de Alemania).

Fue justo en uno de sus viajes cuando ya tenía 24 años que se encontró con los Pythia y no tardó de identificarse con sus ideales, y tras discutirlo con su familia no dudó en unirse al aquelarre, mismo donde pudo desarrollar mejor todos sus poderes, especialmente la adivinación ya que se negaba a usarlo tras haber predicho la muerte de su abuelo paterno.
