What’s everyone’s favourite memory like generally

Everyone’s favorite memory, or a memory that makes the character happy no matter the situation

The Winx

Stella – she doesn’t know whether that’s an actual memory or if she imagines that because someone has told her about it. She is three or four, and she is sick, and her parents – both and at the same time – take the day off to spend it with her. They play with her dolls, eat all her favorite foods, and fall asleep in front of a movie. It’s one of the few memories she has of her family just being happy together.

Bloom – Bloom’s favorite memory is her first meeting with Stella. Thanks to that unexpected event she has learnt about the whole new world she has always been part of. Without that specific event she might have never known about her biological parents, never developed her powers the right way, never made the best friends one could ask for …

Musa – the concert for the inauguration of New Red Fountain, when her father hugs her and finally accepts her passion and the fact that she wants to make music her job, her career, like her mother had done, like he too had done. Being accepted for who she is, that’s her favorite memory.

Flora – Miele’s birth. That day she gained a sister and her powers manifested for the first time. As soon as she saw her little sister, a thousands of different flowers bloomed in the gardens of the hospital, on the trees, in the vases. One of the happiest days of her life.

Aisha – the first pajama party she had with the other Winx in their apartment at school. Being accepted by them, feeling that she was actually part of something, having someone by her side who would never abandon her, remembering that moment always makes her happy.

Tecna – meeting Digit. She had read a lot about Pixies and their relationship with fairies, but she had always thought she wouldn’t be able to form that kind of connection. Digit proved her wrong.

The Specialists

Brandon – Earning Stella’s forgiveness and being able to be finally himself with her. He will always treasure the moment she told him she didn’t care about her social status, she loved him. And just him. That stolen moment in the middle of a war is his favorite memory.

Sky – playdates with Brandon when they were kids. Not a particular one, but all of them. He loved when he was allowed out of the Palace and could spend time with his friend, when he could be a normal kid and not the perfect little prince.

Riven – the party after the defeat of Darkar, when Aisha took Musa’s arm and suddenly he found himself dancing with the girl he loved for the first time. They didn’t talk, they didn’t even kiss, they just danced, and it was enough.

Helia – when the guys invited him to train with them and it turned out it was a kind of welcome party. They were making it official: he wasn’t just a teammate for them, but a friend.

Nabu – Aisha. When he saw her, he fell hard. All it takes is thinking about her to make him smile.

Timmy – It’s Codatorta telling him he is essential to the team, that he is brave and unreplaceable. He may not be great at fighting, but it’s his mind that makes him unique. Getting that recognition, knowing that his all-muscles teacher is proud of him is one of the best moments of his life.

If you could relive any of your memories, which would it be?

Probably my 14th birthday. I remembered thinking "i have never been this happy in my life" It was a hot hot summer day and I was swimming in the ocean with my friends with clothes on after training. Then I went home and watched Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets with my sister.

This one I would actually want to relive and it was watching Steamboat Billy Jr. for the first time at a film festival and it was so fucking great. There was a live band and their original score was so epic. The movie is very funny and good and it felt like a dream. Oh man.

What's one of your best memories from childhood?

My favorite memory would probably be when I first play Kingdom Hearts video game. And also Final Fantasy. It may sound lame, but those two games are the reason why I’m so inspired when it comes to art and have fun playing video games—when it comes to video games, I just love it so much, I wanted to play other video games as well, and that spending time alone is great. Even with anime because I love anime so much, so I started watching anime since I was little. Anime has always been a part of my life.

BUT—

If you want my real answer on what my favorite memory is, is when I ditched school for a week to go to the cruise. Yeah, you read this right; I skipped while everyone is struggling to get their grades up. And I went to Bahamas and Aruba, and the food in the ship is so good, and the inside of the ship is so grand, and I get to dress up for formal dinners and take pictures. And the ocean air feels nice! I wanted to go on an adventure again. And I will go again for this year.

What is your favorite memory at this immediate moment?

My favorite memory is probably from my middle school years. Living in Germany we went to the Christmas market in Cologne to celebrate my dad coming home from his deployment to Qatar. The Cologne Cathedral was the highlight of the trip for me, but the food, souvenirs, and activities around the market were amazing as well.

Also, the trip there and back to the Kaiserslautern area (community near our airbase) is the only time I've been on a train aside from a few DC metro trips.

I think one of the times i felt the most loved was because my brother. He got me a chair. It sounds silly. But let me explain.

When we still lived together, I'd watch him game on his computer or Xbox while sitting on his bed. And when he got his apartment, I'd do the same, sitting on his mattress, on the floor, staring up at the screen from where I sat.

And then he bought his house. There was no longer a bed for me to sit in in the gaming room. Or anything else. Just his computer tucked in the corner with a plan to get a shelf for board games and a spot to charge a nintendo switch. But no more bed.

I think he noticed we didn't spend much time together. So, after a few months, he went out of his way to refurbish a chair from the thrift store. And he tucked it into the corner closest to his desk so I could watch him again. He told me it's my chair and I can add anything I want to it or get a cover for it. But it'd be my chair.

And that's one of my favorite memories I have. Because he didn't have to do that at all. But he still did. To make sure I would be a part of his life even though I'm 10 years younger and we're at entirely different stages of life. He carved a spot out for me in his house so we could still be 16 and 6.

I had gotten a strawberry taho with the others.

My hands were occupied with all the goodies from the event at the convention center

I paced through flower vendors and ornamental plants at the park.

Rain started to drizzle.

You asked me to pause. I did. You looked towards my direction, we faced each other. You put your hat on me. It was cold, but I was warm.

We walked on. Quiet, like nothing had happened.

as opposed to most other memories on this blog, this one happened just 2 weeks ago! of course, i LOVE to brag about having gone to louisiana to whomever i can find, but im kind of... hesitant? to post much about it online. i feel like i should get jack's permission, and i've already bugged them the most out of anyone LOL anyway, anyway! i just have a sweet little memory that i want to have saved. me & jack did a lot while i was down in lousiana, but there were a few times where we had downtime to just sit around and hang out like normal teenagers.

im pretty sure we were watching a brutalfoods video, and by the end of it, we'd somehow ended up in a position much akin to:

the biggest thing i remember thinking was, "this is the most comfortable i've ever been.".

my second thought was, "how on earth is jack comfortable like that???" (they did, eventually, move their head to be down on the pillow, instead of using my head as the pillow, but still! shaped like an L bracket!)

Hello everyone, here is a comic. I drew this the way I draw all of my comics: with one person (me) and with a punchline planned from the start. Any other way to draw a comic would be very silly and would require me to tag people like @buggachat and @ladybeug if they were somehow in any way involved in the comic making process. Which they weren't. I drew this solo and by myself.

My favorite memory.

My thinking of you only stops when I start thinking about how much I think about you.

Then, I start wondering about the reason why.

I pause and reminisce movies, and those scenes when a character is reminding a memory non-stop.

I have that, there's a scene so clear in my head that keeps playing again and again to stop only when I think I think about it.

You have that straight serious face of yours and then you smile and laugh briefly.

There's a split-second between your straight face and your smile when you're just about to smile, but you're not doing it yet.

You're like a kid trying to play serious and keep his smile knowing that you'll end up laughing inevitably.

In that split-second, it's like you realize you're about to laugh and surrender yourself to it.

If you ever read this you'll probably laugh at me and at how I'm making such a big deal of something so small.

You'll probably think I'm nuts and that the way I love you just makes no sense.

You'll come at me saying that you don't get how I love you.

Deep down, maybe you don't believe I do.

Maybe one day you will, until that moment comes and becomes a memory, that split-second, is my favorite memory so far.
