I am SO glad I stayed away from clips of the show (for the most part lol) truly made the experience extremely special. like this is really my GOAT. THEE GOAT. And I got to witness her live and in person for a second time. I'm sooooo grateful and hopefully I'll have another opprotunity.

Amari Marshall is a fucking STAR. That's all I could think whenever I saw her. Stage presense on 100000. She's impactful.

Les Twins were utilized very well! I haven't seen them dance much since i hung up my fangirl cape, lol, but their dancing felt soooo familiar and I really enjoyed them 🥰

DANCE CAPTAIN HANNAH DLAINE! Y'all like to try my girl, but I loved everything she was doing on that stage. She may look diferent next to other dancers, but those lines, technique, elegance, that CLEAN look makes her great and Bey's fave 🤭

Simone showed up and showed out for her hometown! Definitely took notice of that. Ai, Alannah, and Brianna really held it down like the OGs they are. Kyndall may be the baby on tour, but she definitely rises to the occasion! love ha. Trinity is so radiant! Truly. This is her first big gig and she's definitely not taking it for granted. a PROFESSIONAL. Lisa, Nerita, ans Aakilah are all sooooo STUNNING? Truly shook looking at the three of them. Ms. Aliyah Janell doeeeeees thiiiiiiiiis lmao she was eating it up!

The boys, Rob, Zavion, Jus, Konkrete held it dooooown. They were utiilzed so well, especially in comparison to the boys on OTR2, no shade chile 🙃

Darius is also VERY STUNNING. FACE. CARD. and he can dance his ass off some ppl really have it all 😌. I loooved watching Carlos lmao idk what is was but i always found him whenever he was on stage 💕💕💕 And Jonté! Male Beyoncé himself! an undeniable talent.

As for the choreography, I love the direction Fatima took it in. I know there's been criticism over how much Bey is dancing, but I think its the perfect balance of dance and vocals. I don't feel like I'm missing anything. the choreo matches the vibe of the album, of the era perfectly.

MOVE is my fave choreo at the moment, but now that I can watch clips lmao, that might change! I just cant get that Move Your Body Girl/Free Mind mashup out of my head 😌

NAACP IMAGE AWARDS NEWBIES: Lizzo, H.E.R., Tamron Hall & More Rock Edgy Looks For Their Red Carpet Debut

One time for the one time! There were a few NAACP Image Award newbies that hit the red carpet. Peep flicks of Lizzo, H.E.R., Tamron Hall and more snap it up in their edgy looks inside!

Tonight is a night of firsts!

This year is the first time the NAACP Image Awards airs on the BET network (airing simultaneously on several Viacom stations) and it is the first time several of your faves hit the red carpet for the annual awards show, dubbing the Black Oscars.

Singer Lizzo was looking good as hell when she hit the red carpet in a custom Mary Katrantzou dress, Dena Kemp jewels, and micro Lynn Ban gold bar bag. She even put a funky spin on her hair rocking an afro ponytail with faux locs pinned in the front.

As she made her way down the carpet, she stopped to laugh it up with the awards show host, Anthony Anderson.

Singer/nominee H.E.R. hit the carpet before she hits the stage to perform. She's nominated for four awards, including Oustanding Album, Outstanding Song - Contemporary, Outstanding Music Video and Outstanding Female Artist.

Hair Love director Matthew A. Cherry made his NAACP Image Awards debut. While on the carpet, he talked about Congressman John Lewis' legacy. "He is the physical embodiment of a life that is dedicated to work that is bigger than himself."

The film director said winning the Best Animated Short Film Academy Award was "unreal." After partying into the wee hours of the morning, he a 7AM call time, so it was super rough for him, but well worth it. After the ceremony, he hit up Jay-Z & Beyonce's Gold Party and he mentioned it was his first time meeting the Carters' daughter Blue Ivy. He said he's going to read his book at her school. Red carpet host Terrence J also said Hov was super excited to meet Matthew at the party, seeking him out more than he was anybody else.  Gotta love it.

Werk, new mama! Daytime talk show host/nominee/presenter Tamron Hall hit the carpet for the first time, serving via all angles in a pink ruffled Oscar de la Renta gown.

When asked what Black Excellence meant to her, she responded, “Working harder and working smarter. Recognizing all of the amazing people here tonight.”

  It was "All Rise" actress Simone Missick's first time on the red carpet as a nominee. The Detroit native is nominated for Outstanding Actress in a Drama Series.

On the carpet, she was accompanied by her actor husband Dorian Missick.

"When They See Us" actor Ethan Herisse said he made sure to pick out something dapper for his first time on the carpet. He rocked a Ted Baker suit. The young actor said his dream role would be playing the son of Hollywood titans Denzel Washington or Mahershala Ali.

At his September 8, 2018 concert in Boston, MA, Drake a.k.a Aubrey Graham, surprised fans by bringing out rapper Meek Mill. But this wasn’t just *any* surprise guest. The rappers—who performed Mill’s song “Dreams and Nightmares”—have been feuding since 2015, when Mill, who was then engaged to Drizzy’s longtime BFF and forever crush Nicki Minaj, accused the OVO singer of using a ghostwriter. Drake, never one to pass up an opportunity to reveal his heartache, released two scathing diss tracks back to back, and the rest, as they say, is history. Since 2015, a lot has happened: Mill and Minaj broke up (with the latter becoming seriously problematic), Mill spent time in prison and Drizzy continued to not-very-discreetly pine for Rihanna, stand up comedy Queen Tiffany Haddish and have a little Aubrey along the way. So why the sudden reconciliation? Maybe, like a fine wine, age has done them well, maybe Drizzy’s latest feud with Pusha-T (which dropped the bombshell that Drake was a DILF) has him reminiscing for a simpler time, or maybe, Mill needs a career reboot, and Drake, as a new, still emotional father, is looking to make amends. Whatever the reason, we can all agree that it’s for the better. And the rappers definitely seem to agree. Both artists shared their thoughts on the reunion on Instagram and sealed the deal with a game of ping pong after the show (so you know it’s real).

Drizzy and Mill join a long and historical list of celeb feuds. From the Capulets and the Montagues to Joan Crawford and Bette Davis to Taylor Swift and everyone on the planet, feuds are a rite of passage for the rich and famous. Not so typical? Making up. But if these two can put their differences aside, why can’t some of out other faves do the same? Below, some of the celebs we *need* to see kiss and make up.

Lindsay Lohan and Hilary Duff

For many ’90s kids, *this* was the feud to start them all. Like any good early aughts feud, it started with a boy. Tiger Beat was all the rage, Nick Carter was still posted up on every girl’s walls and Hilary Duff and the younger Carter were *the* hot ticket couple. That’s until a year-and-a-half into their relationship, when Carter started dating Lindsay Lohan, because he was “bored.” Which is just, really, rude? Cue snarky back-and-forth between Duff and Lohan, including digs on SNL and badmouthing to co-stars. The feud ultimately ended in Duff’s next BF, Good Charlotte frontman Joel Madden, refusing to autograph merch for Lohan’s younger brother. The actresses publicly put their feud to rest in 2007, with Hilary telling People, “We are both adults, and whatever happened, happened when we were young”—but they haven’t been seen together since. While we’re glad they both realized Carter wasn’t worth it, we can’t help but reminisce about what could have been. In fact, with the impending birth of her second child, now is the *perfect* time for Duff to jet off for a baby-moon with her could-have-been bestie. May we suggest Mykonos? We know Lindsay could show her some moves.

Kanye West and Jay Z

The men who gave us Watch the Throne also served up one of rap’s biggest contemporary feuds. HOV and Ye used to be the best of friends, but during an October 2016 concert, West spoke out against his one-time bestie, revealing that their children—Blue Ivy and North—had yet to have a play date. He also criticized Jay and his wife Beyoncé for failing to reach out after Kim Kardashian West’s traumatizing robbery in Paris. In response, Jay called out the rapper’s erratic behaviour on his 2017 album 4:44 and told the Rap Radar podcast that Ye’s rant hurt him—specifically because it was about Bey and their family. “You know it’s a problem because me and him would have been talked about it, been our issues resolved,” he told the podcast. “And he knows he crossed the line.” No word yet on whether or not bros have talked, but in a recent (and v. cryptic tweet), Ye alluded to a reconciliation, saying: “throne2 coming soon.” Fingers crossed!

Mariah Carey and Jennifer Lopez

This feud would be over *real* quick, if Carey tuned in to Entertainment Tonight (or Instagram or any form of social media). In a literal sun-defying level of shade, songstress Carey has essentially denied knowing about Jennifer Lopez’s existence for the better part of a decade. It all began when Carey was asked about J.Lo in an interview. The pop diva responded with the now iconic, “I don’t know her.” Despite Lopez confirming that they’ve met numerous times, Carey has doubled down, telling Watch What Happens Live‘s Andy Cohen in 2016, “You know what? I’m very forgetful,” when he pressed her on the issue. While we do appreciate dedication to one’s craft (in this case, pettiness), it’s time for Carey to give it a rest. Yes, J.Lo has a hot bod, powerhouse voice and envy-inducing dance moves, but Carey has a lot going on too: she’s a businesswoman, actor and singer in her own right (not to mention, her gorgeous gams are insured for $1 billion). C’mon, Mimi, there’s definitely enough room for both of you in the pop culture game.

Cardi B and Nicki Minaj

This very new feud is arguably the most upsetting of them all. Cardi B and Nicki Minaj are both rap goddesses in their own right, at least in part because they don’t pull punches with their lyrics—but apparently, that’s true in real life, too. At the 2018 Harper’s Bazaar ICONS Party on September 7, Bardi and Minaj reportedly came to blows, with the “Bodak Yellow” rapper appearing to lunge at Minaj, before throwing her shoe at the singer. Photos from later in the evening show Cardi B  sporting a ripped gown and large bump on her forehead as she was escorted out of the venue. In a lengthy Instagram post, Cardi insinuated the fight came about after Minaj made comments about the rapper’s daughter, writing: “when you mention my child, you choose to like comments about me as a mother, make comments about my ability to take care of my daughter is when all bets are f-ckin off!!” The rappers have previously shot down rumours of a feud and collaborated on 2017’s “Motosport.” Since the altercation, the twittersphere has been divided, with some Twitter users using the fight to demonstrate how men are the “superior gender.” These comments are further proof that we need ladies to stick together—we’re already up against the patriarchy, let’s not make it harder by fighting each other.

Yes, this is a hill we will die on. Justin Bieber, Stratford, Ont.’s own hometown hero, has been trying to make slides and socks happen since summer 2017. Biebs, baby, it’s not going to happen. From golf dates to hitting the streets of NYC with his fiancée in straight up hotel slippers (ugh), this soon-to-be hubby has proven that his heart truly lies with everyone’s favourite public-pool shower footwear. We can only pray that his impending move back up to the Great White North—and those inevitable Canadian winters—will force the crooner to *finally* make the switch to closed-toe shoes. Trust us Biebs, your arches will thank you.

Before Beyoncé‘s sixth studio album dropped back in 2016, it was considered treasonous to question her relationship with longtime love Jay-Z. Up until Lemonade, the pair had been intensely private about their marriage and family—but when the album dropped and featured songs like “Pray You Catch Me,” “Sorry,” and “Hold Up,” Bey let the world know that, at some point, there was trouble in paradise.

Then, on 4:44, a sort of response to Bey’s accusations…Jay apologized and said it took having kids for him to be able to see life through a woman’s eyes. I’ll f*ck up a good thing if you let me/Let me alone, Becky…

While the Carters let us in, there was still so much to know… for instance, who is Becky with the good hair? What was it like when they weren’t on the same page? Bey watched them interact, the guilt sinking in as she tried to keep her original reasoning. ‘You’re the reason she’s acting like this’ he said, breaking the silence. ‘I’m the reason? You’re lucky my child is sleeping or—’ ‘OUR child Bey. She’s our child and you took her from me,’ he says in a strained tone. ‘You act as if I wasn’t going to let you see her ever again, you know I would never do that’ Bey argued. ‘I don’t know you at all. Not after I came home to an empty house and y’all stuff missing. So when was I supposed to see her Bey? When you decided to stop ignoring my calls? Not telling me you were in a whole different country so I could find you?’ he asked trying to keep his voice down. ‘I needed a break Shawn! I deserved a break and no I wasn’t going to leave her behind. I’m sorry it seemed like I did it out of spite but in that moment I was just reacting. I didn’t even plan on staying long, I just couldn’t be around you after hearing that’ Bey said as she thought back onto the most painful time of her life. ‘I would never keep her from you, or any kids we might have, just because we’re fighting. Even if we divorce I—’ ‘We’re not getting a divorce,’Jay interrupted. Bey sighed as remembering to pick her battles. She couldn’t see them divorced either but she can’t say separation never crossed her mind. Jay was about to say something else when Blue squirmed, wrapping her arms tightly around him while he rocked her. He knew he messed up but he couldn’t imagine losing them.Those two weeks were the wake up call he needed. Straighten up or he’d lose his wife #fiction.”

We're a little over a week away before Disney’s The Lion King roars into theaters on July 19th. Woot!

Last night, the stars aligned in Hollywood for the world premiere of the computer-animated remake of the traditionally animated 1994 film. And everyone was drippin' sauce.

Beyoncé - who voices Nala - stunned on the carpet in a black and silver bejeweled Alexander McQueen blazer paired with a sparkly floor-length tulle skirt. The fab chick was laced with Lorraine Schwartz jewelry, a diamond-encrusted clutch, and glittery strappy heels. She even rocked a new 'do - cornrows pulled back into a ponytail with her edges laid for the gawds.

Bey's daughter, Blue Ivy, was her total mini-me rocking a similar tuxedo Alexander McQueen ensemble. Adorbs!

Singer Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams hit the carpet with their girl to show love for her new project. On the carpet, Michelle was asked if she heard any of the new music Bey worked on for The Lion King soundtrack and she immediately went radio silent - like a good friend should.

"The Voice Australia" judge played up the movie's animalistic theme in a black-and-white Prabal Gurung mini dress with flared sleeves.

Kelly's adorable son, Titan, accompanied his mom on the carpet in a blue suit that he wore with some fresh J's.

  Come through, Michelle! The former DC singer rocked a metallic mosaic Atelier Zuhra dress paired with Stuart Weitzman sandals.

Bey and Blue stopped on the carpet for a photo-op with US actress Shahadi Wright Joseph, who voices young Nala.

Keegan-Michael Key - who voices Kamari - and his fiancee Elisa Pugliese got a chance to snap it up with the Queen.

Donald Glover - who voices Simba - said he was nervous about singing the “Can You Feel the Love Tonight" cover with Beyonce during a recent appearance on "Jimmy Kimmel Live."

“I did not want to be looking in Beyoncé’s eyes while doing this,” he shared.

Ha! Can't blame him. He hit the carpet in a Gucci suit.

By the way, he's also working on the much-delayed third season of "Atlanta."

Chloe x Halle - who are signed to Parkwood Entertainment - pushed through in all black Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini ensembles. As you know, Halle (on the right) nabbed the Little Mermaid role and the trolls are BIG mad. They will deal.

After turning up at Kevin Hart's 40th Birthday Bash, Tiffany Haddish pulled up to the film's red carpet in a red-and-blue iridescent Libertine suit.

The Secret Life of Pets 2 star snapped selfies with "Reading Rainbow" host LeVar Burton and his wife Stephanie Cozart Burton.
