heres a clip of the performace on third, its lg focused. another angle this one is more general wide shot with occasional zoom. another one this one is more zoomed in so you can really see actors expressions but its not character focused. eh have another angle.

not sure if they failed to clap or if jxk dodged on purpose, hes been doing that. lg does take his hand after unlike the 1st. they play rps as they roll out, cxs gladly slaps lg but runs away when its his turn to get slapped.

they fuck up the first heart again.

for once sofa song starts with entire trio on the sofa, lg makes cxs massage him as well. and ql is massaging cxs. is this too many photos i promise im normal.

during the next bit cxs has to drag lg over to sing, sometimes he comes over on his own sometimes ql calls him and them he goes. but this version is my fave.

lg wins all three rounds of rps, he looks so happy lol, he lost all rounds recently so this must feel great. also he slaps cxs very gently, but cxs still acted like it hurt

during rps song cxs has a very special prop... i knew that was around somewhere but i havent seen it used so thank you jxk. the rest of the cast all falling over lmao.

lg jukes(is that the correct word?) cxs during the handshake, this happens often. i think it happened on all 3 days here why is he so suprised.

then during the bow, im not sure what theyre doing like arm wrestling in air? lg calls him childish before the next song begins. during which jxk makes ghx cup his mic, this happened before but this time there is no excuse. they cup mics while singing so it sounds better ig, but not everyone does it. or maybe they do i havent been watching chronologically until now. also i like that theyre making group effort during introductions at the end usually its lg actor introducing everyone and well, i get it forgetting names.

jsk jukes the highfive at the start, but offers his hand a bit later, ghx rightfully slaps it away. i like when the trio holds hands as they roll out for the end of that song. also they fucked the heart up, or so it seems but ghx was looking and did that on purpose, why, that i cant say.

during sofa song cxs retaliates by pinching lg back, im glad, they always bully him in that bit, cxs actors should fight back more often. cxs has to drag lg to sing with ql, and ql pushes cxs and he falls of the table. very animated fall i was rooting for him.

lg does not win one round of rps, and goes to sulk, while cxs happily dances. this time it is lg who jukes cxs during the clap.

idk what theyre doing during the bow, but i hear pain noises and audiance laughing. when the lights turn on they arent in their spots, lg maybe accidentally jumpscares cxs, i really cannot figure out what was happening.

performace of the 2nd. wide shot. cxs is using a hair straightner? as a mic. no high five again, but cxs jukes lg twice this time and gives thumbs up. lg plays it off cool though.

i think they are allergic to doing the heart properly. very normal sofa bit nothing to note. during rps cxs wins twice then lg and then cxs again. cxs was slapping kinda serious but after lg slapped him gently he did too. im normal about them how could you tell.

ql does a heart with her hands when they stomp on the table. again weird activites during the bow. when lights turn on lg is massaging cxs, and cxs says something but i sadly cant understand. one day. lg walks away and cxs sticks his pinky finger out, other actors seem confused, me too, lg laughs though.

My reactions and opinions on (almost) all songs on the Eurovision final

Sweden was kinda catchy and good. Not anywhere near the best but it was a nice start. Maybe a bit basic. 5/10

2. Ukraine was amazing. It gave me chills, the voices were amazing, the visuals were amazing. 9/10

3. Germany honestly didn't stand out to me. Idk, it wasn't bad exactly, but it also wasn't good? It was kinda just there. 3/10

4. Luxembourg was quite good. While it wasn't one of my faves, it was definitely a solid song and performance. 7/10

5. Yeah, no Netherlands. Keep in mind I only watched the finals and hadn't listened to any of the songs prior to it, so I haven't even heard the song yet. I don't think I will either. ?/10

6. Israel was amazing, Eden has an amazing voice, great stage presence, she looked absolutely etherial. The song conveys all the pain it's supposed to. No doubt my favourite and if I had voted I would have voted for her. 10/10

7. Lithuania, the song wasn't bad, kinda nice to listen to, the performance was also kinda good, but it didn't stand out long term. in fact while making this list i had to rewatch the performance because I remembered nothing of it. So yeah. Extra points for not being a basic english song. 5/10

8. Spain, I have complicated feelings about you. It definitely stood out. Sadly the most forgettable part of it was the singer, which is a very important part. She had presence, and the concept was definitely good and showy, but her voice was meh, a bit weak. I think the backup dancers lowkey carried the performace on their back. Overall, 6/10

9. I straight up did not like Estonia. I'm sorry, no offense. Also one of the guys looked like Michael from VSauce and that was very distracting, but I'm not docking points for that. 2/10

10. I know Ireland had some controversial reactions. BUT. I adored it. I'm sorry I did, it was one of my favourite performances, they did amazing, I have nothing to point out exactly. Idk, 9.5/10.

11. Latvia didn't do much. Kinda boring, forgettable. Maybe it was also not a great idea to put such a lacking performace right after one of the most amazing ones, that might have biased my opinion. 3/10

12. Greece wasn't my style of song but as it went on it kinda grew on me. It was catchy and fun. Not amazing exactly, for me personally, but solid, good. 6/10

13. Ok the UK, listen. I'm biased, because Olly Alexander is the main actor in one of my favourite shows and i think that skewed my view of the song. It was entertaining, fun, nice to watch. Nothing amazing, but good. 6/10

14. Norway, complicated feeling. It looked great, it sounded great, but something was lacking. It felt like they were trying to reach very far but not really getting there? Idk how to explain it. Something was missing from it. 6.5/10

15. Italy was quite good. I've seen people say it wasn't, but I don't see why. I liked it a lot, even tho it wasnt one of my top songs it was still really good. 7/10

16. I'm not sure it was my style, but Serbia still had a very solid song. It was good, and looked beautiful too, and her voice sounds magical. Good vibes. 7/10

17. For Finland... Did I love the song itself? No. Did I love the performance? Yes. I laughed so hard and it was so unique and funny and entertaining. Like, I could just laugh at how silly and random it was and that felt good. 8/10

18. Portugal, listen. You always bring sad fado-sounding songs. It's not that it's bad but people don't care. Get new material. That's boring, bring something fun that gets people smiling and dancing and it's catchy and unique. You're forgettable. Extra points for being my country, and for being Yom Kippur ready with all that white. But damn, I'm not pleased. 4/10

19. Armenia was great. I love when they include unique and personal vibes in these songs. This didn't feel like a boring generic english song. It felt unique, it had so many different and special elements and that made it really stand out to me, and I think they were SEVERELY underrated. 8/10

20. Cyprus was a bit basic and boring. In fact I again had to search for the video because I didn't even know what the Cyprus song was. 2.5/10

21. Switzerland won as we know. At first the song didn't stand out, but I think it's one of those songs that the more you listen the better it gets. Also the vibes? Perfect. Nemo slayed and I'm not upset at all with this win. 8/10

22. Slovenia was good, it was solid. Despite that, it wasn't great, but it had a nice energy to it and I had a good time watching it. 6.5/10

23. Croatia, I had heard rumors they were the favourite to win, and truly they placed first in the public votes. I can see why, they were great and it was very catchy, the energy was contagious and I cannot stop listening to it. Also, it's fun. 9.5/10

24. Georgia had a fun, energetic, powerful sounding song. I appreciated, it was a good listen, but it wasn't amazing, didn't stand out that much. 6.5/10

I didn't have time to watch France and Austria, sadly, because I had to go out, so no ratings there.

this is such an important question tbh and also so hard to answer lmao:

thoughts: i think it's one of their strongest albums. it's short, but it's a no skip album where every song is super strong. taylor's guitar work is just 🤌 and i think this is the best albums drums wise. zac adds so much without overplaying. the themes hayley explore are super interesting and she writes with a very authentic pen (like she always does tbh). her vocal performace is also super strong, and i love how she's able to utilize her whole vocal range.

favourite song: figure 8 (thick skull and big man, little dignity second and third for me i think)

least favourite song: the news (i do love it a lot and i don't skip it)

finally some good fcking food aka "empathy" thoughts

I woke up bright and early, got dressed, made some coffee and cut up some peaches, warmed up a croissant that I got from a local bakery yesterday, and sat down to listen with a ksoo-state of mind. then my supervisor suddenly asked me to join a meeting (so much for blocking off my calendar 🙃) aaaaand then I got busy all day lol but now I've finally got some free time to soak this in

rose: a simple acoustic track – more brighter and upbeat than “that’s okay” but still in the same vein. it feels a bit run-of-the-mill if I’m being completely honest, but that's probably just me and the fact that I don’t usually go for acoustic songs like this lol. gosh the lyrics are cute though, songwriter ksoo came through with the romantics 😊🌹💕 can definitely see how they were gunning for widespread listenability with this one. also the mv was so whimsical and fun! it made me laugh in a few places, not to mention ksoo going about his day without a care in the world is all I really care about seeing. the animations were so cool!

I’m gonna love you: less folk, more contemporary pop with that guitar lick in the intro. I had to pause and replay ksoo’s first bit here, I just couldn’t believe that was him! whoa this kinda of pseudo-rapping is quite a different sound from him. his lower register is so smooth omg. oh yeah now that's a beat drop!! LOVE the chorus! not familiar with wonstein but I'm surprised to hear a rap feature on this album, I didn't think that would be something ksoo would go for but it sounds really good here! their little harmonies YAH. also adlibs yesssss!! for those of us hoping for an r&b song, here it is!

my love: he brought the whole soundstage for this one, mmm yes love this chill down-tempo vibe. oh gosh he's mixing just the perfect amount of falsettos and growl into some of these lines here, he's so good at creating those smooth-harsh edges if that makes any sense lol. not to bring bbh into this but I’d really love to see ksoo perform this song as a duet with him!

It’s love: oh man he sounds GOOD good! ooooh wow all those flourishes and accidentals and runs oh my god. THIS is the song for the live lounges! the stripped-back instrumentals let him be front-and-center on this one, oh I really hope he performs this one live!! the hushed strings add that romantic vibe that really makes it feel like he's serenading us 🥰 ooh when he goes down an octave in that last part and then back up again OH MAN

dad: this brought tears to my eyes, what a beautiful and touching tribute 🥺 oh no I looked up the lyric translations and now I'm crying 😭 my dad and I tend butt heads a lot, and growing up I didn't understand why, but as I've grown older I've realized it's because we're so similar, and at the end of the day he's sacrificed so much for me :((( anyways not to get super deep and personal but just hearing the raw emotion in his voice brought up a lot of my own emotions too. I'm sure his dad is very proud of him right now :)

I’m fine: ALRIGHT HERE’S THE RIFF THAT’S BEEN HAUNTING ME FOR THE PAST TWO WEEKS. oh god that intro 💆‍♀️💆‍♀️💆‍♀️!!!! a little darker than the previous tracks – the bass and guitar infuse some latin flavor here. hoo WOWWWWWW the way he weaves his voice (which he sounds just DIVINE here) around those instrumentals, also LOVE the way his enunciating the lyrics, like plucking guitar strings, and is this in a harmonic minor key? the way this ebbs and flows and goes up and down and the way he slips into falsettos oh my god this song alone fed me better than whole albums have this year, I cannot imagine anyone other than ksoo doing this justice. this song just is a big steaming mug of spiced hot chocolate. also can we just give it up for songwriter ksoo I looked up the translation and yeah big hit of sweet melancholia right here. my fave song on the album!

rose (eng ver): oh sheet I don’t know if anything would’ve prepared me for “your lips look so fine and you’re looking so cool” but the damage is done my hp is at -2 🤕 these lyrics are cute too! but I think I prefer his korean lyrics over these :) ofc he sounds like he's been speaking english his whole life adskjfdkj it's so amazing how he preserved all of those vocal details from the korean version

si fueras mia: the spanish ver of “it’s love…I really can’t believe that’s HIM singing this omg what I would give to see a live performace of this. I’m not a spanish speaker (all I have are two years of high school Spanish to my name 😔) but like he's actually blowing the pronunciation out of the water!! absolute mad props for putting a spanish song on his debut ep, that was a bold move and it paid off! if I had to choose, I like this version better. again, so blown away by how he sung this the exact same way as the korean version, that's not an easy feat!!

overall: I mean what more can I say, this is what people have waited YEARS for and it's finally here. in true ksoo form, it doesn't try too hard to impress or demand your attention. its simplicity is its charm, and in a landscape of blaring electronica, it's a warm soothing escape. I'm happy 😊

The Halo/Walking on Sunshine performace always makes me laugh because it's just so over the top. In fact, so does It's My Life/Confessions, those two mash ups are rediculous in the best way.

Tagged by the very lovely @serenililly to do a top 10 KPop song list thingy and let me tell you I did not follow any guideline whatsoever. I take the title with an ocean of salt.

So this "list" is just me messing with myself more than anything. I usually rotate between Day6, BTS, FTIsland, N.Flying and Stray Kids in my phone so this is just giving me an excuse to find other songs that I've stuffed away in my private yt playlist and listen to them again. I've gone down a rabbit hole...

(if you say that you were cheating with choosing songs and having honourable mentions, I'm basically criminal. There's more than a good 50 songs mentioned in this "list". Put me in a jail cell...)

Be forewarned; I talk a lot, so, everything is under the cut.

TL;DR I shoved all the songs that I really like into one post depite being told it is a top 10 song list. (also I've given up tagging anyone in doing this cause idk who to tag *finger guns*)

Eric Nam - Runaway (Honourable mentions: Love Die Young [I know this one's an english song but god is it good])

First off, let's be real. This song was going to get on this list one way or another. I wrote a FLUFF FIC for JUNGKOOK with this song. It made me write fluff for a guy a I don't even necessarily care to have fluff with. It somehow wrecked me as a person and god does it scare me. It's a romance that I want with my entire heart and I wrote it for someone who isn't my bias in anyway. What can that tell you?

ok but the song is one that I go back to about every week. I can't get sick of it. And if you listen to it with the English version right after it, it becomes such a whiplash. Eric knows how to mess with me.

Day6 - 365247 & Emergency  (Honourable mention: Deep in love, Hi Hello, Dance Dance, Shoot Me)

Look I try to keep it to one song per artist but the Entropy album was a fcking all kill for me. This album would be on number 1 if this was on a top ten album list instead. (If bts hadn't stolen my heart already at the time, Day6 would have been my ult of all time because these boys are hilarious.)

365247 is such a funky tune and I find myself seeking out this song everytime I'm feeling a little spunky. Feels like one of those sexual tension songs to me for some reason but I love it.

Emergency is a bit of a mess but like in the best way. Just the sounds of blaring sirens and heart monitors just, my god. The way the lyrics were paced to fill the theme in even more was so good. What can I say? Like, it was a really well done song. And I am head over heels for it. (also the fact there is a dance for this song is amusing)

FTIsland - Pray (Honourable mentions: Stay, Hello Hello, Falling Star, Memory, Take Me Now, Paper Plane)

*stares down the Japanese releases* Oh god I love those. It was hard to separate them from the Korean releases because the Japan releases were the ones that got me to FT and eventually, K-Pop in general. But then I also remember that there are songs that have a Korean version. As much as I am more familiar with the Japanese versions, the Korean versions are great too.

The reason why I chose Pray as the top song is I guess just the state that I was when it came out. Like, I felt it through my bones and it kind of never left. So whenever I listen to Pray, I have the visceral feeling that I need to scream at a god. I don't but it just relieves it by the end of the song. (also Rock that I can scream to when I actually want to)

Jonghyun - Before our Spring (Honourable mentions: Take the Dive)

Simply known as the song that broke me and put me back together. It's now the song that reminds me that there's more to live for. I don't think I can listen to this song without at least tearing up a little. I'm sorry Winter Angel and thank you.

N.Flying - The Real (Honourable mentions: Hot Potato, Rooftop, 4242)

THE REVIVAL of my darling boys. God how much I had missed them and the return being one of the stupidest mvs I know (not counting anything from norazo or Psy), it was so perfect. And then the follow up being Hot Potato, just N.Flying had such a great revival that really suited them as a group. I always go back to it whenever I need a smile.

Epik High - Born Hater (Honourable mentions: Lullaby for a Cat, People Scare Me)

This one is the only one with no real reason why I picked it. I just really like it and it had a lot of people contibuting to the song.

The Rose - Baby (Honourable metions: She's in the rain, Red)

Back to my band shennanigans (if you haven't noticed the list being almost half bands). The Rose holds a good place in my heart too. With a voice like Sammy boy's, it's had for me to not have them in the back of my head as I listen to songs on desktop.

AKMU - Time and Fallen Leaves (Honourable mentions: Melted, How People Move, Chocolady, Re-Bye)

I listened to this song A LOT when it came out in 2014. Back when I was still in secondary school going through my depressive teen phase (i'm joking, but am I tho). But really this song was what kept me going and not just find a easy route out. It kinda gave me sense of hope. Cause where else do you fall back when all your friends actually really hated you?

BTS (Well duh) - 소우주 (Mikrokosmos) (Honourable mentions: SPRING MF DAY, Magic Shop, Mono, Anything Jimin has put out solo-wise, Dionysus, DDaeng ect.)

Every song since the WINGS era has gotten so strong and well done. And it keeps getting better It's been just so hard to figure out which song is the one I'd pick to listen to always.

I was just about to put Spring day as the top but I remembered Mikrokosmos. Idk what it is about Mikrokosmos but it's found a permanent place in my heart for songs that comfort me the most. It inches Spring day in the top spot of fave. I used to have a playlist with all my comfort songs in one but I accidentally deleted it and im too lazy to recompile it tho.

- OMG this is so HD - I'm EXCITED - the candles are a nice touch - of course they start off with a series of dramatic explosions and thunder-like sounds XD my fave band is so extra and dramatic and I live for it - Roger's face on a drum kit! - this version of WWRY rocks - finally a cameraman that doesn't fail to show a fair amount of Deaky power - the godly lighting department - Freddie with a Superman t-shirt? Give me that DC spinoff with Queen members as superheroes - they'd fight with evil producers, stupid critics, close-mided people - "you wanna get crazy?" Heck YES - Brian, please STOP making that face... I'm dead and in love - that drumset looks amazing, so sparkly and silver - sexy Deaky - Get down make love - cringy lyrics but it sounds pretty cool - ESPECIALLY live - Freddie & Roger are the most powerful vocal duo on earth - the lighting-mist-drumming coordination: POETIC CINEMA - some crazy sci-fi shit going on on - I feel I'm being abducted by aliens - awww, Brian on a piano - their tiny interaction, I MELT - "how I loved you, how I cried" - daamn, Freddie, I didn't know you were singing about me and my love for Queen - I want to offically apologize to everyone for forgetting how beautiful "Save me" is - I love that you can totally hear how better Freddie's control over his voice and vibrato become (compared with Rainbow and Odeon) - HeRe I sTaNd *dum dum* - oh hi shirtless Freddie - hop Deaky Deaky hop Deaky doo - Freddie and Roger - the ultimate brotp - YEAH! YEAH!  - I love those interactions with the audience - Freddie & Rog looking at each other. I'M CRY - Roger was doing a weird thing? Are u okay babe? - LOL Roger back spitting - some fine ass drumming - "are you in a mood for singing?" sure I am - "This is love of my life" NO YOU - the lady in the audience: *heart eyes* SAME GIRL, God I wish that were me - SLAY thay bassline, John! - okay I love this version of Under Pressure better than the David Bowie one (and you know, I LOVE the original!) - Rog smiling at Freddie <3333 - that falsetto, maaan - well, Freddie didn't do the highest note... I'm not surprised though, after 50 minutes of continuous singing I wouldn't expect him to hit a super high falsetto note, and he’s doing a splendid job all the same so - ...the.best.version.of.Under Pressure - Keep Yourself Alive always slaps - especially when Rog is banging his drums like that - noooo he threw the tambourine! He has no RESPEC - this shit is better than the entire Greatest Hits compilation - Roger's legendary drum solo strikes again - Maaaan this is extraordinary - the concentration! the SKILLS! - where you going, Rog? Come back! - OH HELLO THERE - how can he do it so fast??? - and some people still don't remember his name jgajgsdjhgsdjhgsdjhsd - *bows* *thumbs up* Roger, I'm coming to get you!!! - I can sense the longer guitar solo approaching - scratch those strings, Bri!!! - I love how you can see the audience's enthusiasm, and when you compare it with the relatively cold applause at the Rainbow, it's so uplifting and beautiful that people's love for them kept growing and growing - this one guy in the audience hyping Brian... bless you, man and your positivity - Crazy Little Thing Called Freddie with his gutar - love his vocals here - you know, how he rapidly makes this super high and quick sound - "ready Freddieeeee?" - give me a proper shot on Deaky! Yes, that's what I wanted - licky Deaky - Brian changed his clothes, still looking very nice - they really liked Jailhouse Rock, didn't thye? - "move it you fuckers" OMG so mean - Freddie & Brian <333 Brian's smile <3333 - Roger must be really hot in that shirt....in every possible sense - it's Bohemian Rhapsody time! - my mum would cheer, it's her second fave - the best thing about the live versions of Bohemian Rhapsody is that they always play my favourite parts - I'm actually gonna turn up the volume for that godly guitar solo - Oooo they played the operatic part via playback??? - I didn't see that coming actually - Nice touch! - SPARE HIM HIS LIFE FROM THIS MONSTROSITY - ROGER'S DRUMS - okay that hard rock section SLAPS hard - this is my favourite version so far - please tell me there's a CD version of this concert? I want it all (no pun intended)on my phones - I'm totally gonna search for a victim who's gonna watch this with me again - Sensing my mum or my flatmate - SMASH THAT GONG ROGER BOY - the flowers Freddie deserved - I'm pretty sure I'm watching this way too loud (on headphones but still), considering I'm on a traine...I have no regrets though - the editor knew what he was doing, unlike the Odeon one - they have more energy than me, - more explosions...SO EXTRA - Another one bites the dust! - Deaky's time to shine again - Freddie...I'm in public..stop taking off your clothes - AOBTD should be a Freddie/Roger vocal duet, change my mind - "Are you happy? Are you satisfied?" I SURE AM - "How long can you stand the heat?" I'm not sure, you guys are too good - wow Brian, how did you know I love guys wearing black trousers and white shirt? - those people who got to stand so close to the stage... they're blessed - now I'm reminded of the people from that facebook group I’m a member of...They all hate Sheer Heart Attack...BUT HAVE THEY HEARD THIS VERSION? - Me: man I wish I was born the same year my mum was so I could attend this concert  Me: reminds myself that if I were, indeed, born in the early 60s, I'd spend my entire youth in the communist Poland and I certainly wouldn't be allowed leave the country and go to Montreal to attend the rock concert  Me: *laughing hysterically* - Freddie and Roger brotp strikes again! My crops are watered - We Will, WE WILL ROCK YOU! - I lowkey wanna sing along but I'm public and I'd totally embarass myself - I DON'T WANT THIS CONCERT TO END - We are champions - again, my mum would love this concert - I'M EMO - Roger looks kinda sad, I wanna hug him - I think my brain has been forever scarred by that cursed WATC crack video - I can't unhear it XD - Freddie shaking hands with people...THIS IS TOO MUCH - I feel like my life hasn't been complete before I watched this - yes Rog, come forward! - the person who got Roger's sticks..jealous me - "thank you for being such a good sport" I CAN'T Freddie's too adorbs - In short: my expectations were very very high and yet they were grossly EXCEEDED, I'm nostalgic, emotional, happy at the same time - SO WHOLESOME OMG - Like, LIVE AID WHAT? - and they managed perfectly well without any synthesisers, because THEY ARE GREAT and SKILLED MUSICIANS, there was literally not a single weak spot in this performance??? - The bar is set very high for the Hungarian Rhapsody and Live at Wembley, hopefully I can watch these very soon! :D
