How to Create a Cozy and Stylish Dark Bedroom
A dark bedroom can be both cozy and stylish, creating a space that feels intimate, relaxing, and effortlessly chic. Whether you're drawn to moody hues, soft lighting, or luxurious textures, designing a dark-themed bedroom is all about balance and comfort. Here’s how to achieve the perfect cozy and stylish dark bedroom.
1. Choose the Right Dark Color Palette
The foundation of a dark and cozy bedroom starts with the right color scheme. Instead of stark black, consider:
Deep Charcoals and Greys for a modern touch
Navy Blue for a rich and sophisticated feel
Dark Forest Green for a nature-inspired retreat
Plum and Burgundy for a touch of warmth and drama
Pair these shades with complementary neutral tones like beige, taupe, or cream to avoid making the room feel too heavy.
2. Layer Different Textures
Dark colors can sometimes feel flat, so incorporating different textures adds depth and coziness. Try:
Velvet or suede upholstery for a luxurious feel
Soft wool or faux fur throws for warmth
Linen or silk bedding for a soft and breathable touch
A plush, high-pile rug to anchor the space
3. Play with Lighting
A dark bedroom doesn’t have to feel gloomy. The right lighting can enhance the coziness while maintaining style:
Use warm LED bulbs instead of cool white lights
Incorporate table lamps, wall sconces, or pendant lights for layered illumination
Consider smart lighting with dimming options for different moods
Add fairy lights or candles for an extra touch of warmth
4. Incorporate Statement Furniture
Choose furniture that compliments your dark theme without overwhelming the space:
Opt for wood or matte black furniture for a sleek, contemporary look
Go for mirrored or metallic accents to reflect light and add a touch of glamour
Select a tufted or upholstered headboard to enhance coziness
5. Use Dark but Reflective Elements
Adding reflective surfaces prevents the room from feeling too closed in:
Large mirrors create the illusion of more space and brighten the room
Metallic accents in gold, brass, or silver add elegance
Glossy finishes on furniture or decor elements enhance light reflection
6. Bring in Natural Elements
Dark rooms benefit from the organic warmth of natural elements:
Houseplants like snake plants, pothos, or ferns contrast beautifully with dark walls
Wooden decor pieces or rattan furniture balance the look
Natural linen curtains or cotton bedding soften the atmosphere
7. Keep the Space Minimal Yet Cozy
While dark bedrooms are bold, clutter can make them feel overwhelming. Maintain a cozy yet minimal aesthetic by:
Choosing furniture with built-in storage
Keeping decor intentional (candles, books, and a few art pieces)
Using neutral or monochrome bedding to avoid visual chaos
8. Personalize with Art and Accessories
Make the space uniquely yours by adding:
Black-and-white photography or abstract art
Dark, moody wallpaper or murals
Textured cushions and throw blankets in warm tones
A scented diffuser or candles for a relaxing ambiance
Final Thoughts
Creating a cozy and stylish dark bedroom is all about embracing rich colors, textures, and warm lighting. By thoughtfully selecting your palette, furniture, and accessories, you can design a bedroom that feels both intimate and sophisticated. Whether you love a deep navy retreat or a charcoal sanctuary, a well-planned dark bedroom can be the ultimate haven of relaxation.

Creating Cozy Pergola Spaces: Decor and Lighting Tips
Tumblr media
Setting the Foundation: Decorating Your Pergola for Maximum Comfort
When it comes to designing your pergola, think of it as an outdoor room. You can incorporate colors, textures, and elements that reflect your style while ensuring it’s a welcoming space for you and your guests. Here are some decorating ideas to transform your pergola into a cozy sanctuary:
1. Comfortable Seating and Layered Textures
Start with comfortable seating that invites you to relax. Consider outdoor sofas, cushioned chairs, or even a hanging chair if your pergola structure allows.
Use weather-resistant cushions in warm, earthy colors or vibrant tones that contrast with your garden.
Layer textures with soft throw blankets, decorative pillows, and an outdoor rug. Outdoor rugs not only add coziness but also visually ground the seating area.
2. Greenery and Turf Installation for a Natural Look
Integrating plants around and within your pergola area enhances the natural ambiance and contributes to a cozy feel. Potted plants, hanging baskets, or small trees can add beauty and privacy.
Consider turf installation around the base of the pergola for a lush, green appearance without the maintenance of real grass. Artificial turf works well in Texas weather and stays vibrant year-round, even through dry spells.
Climbing plants like jasmine or ivy can also be trained to grow on the pergola structure itself, adding both beauty and shade.
3. Outdoor Dining Setup for Alfresco Gatherings
Create a dining nook within your pergola for evening meals and gatherings. A sturdy table, durable outdoor chairs, and even a portable fire pit for cool nights can set the scene.
Add a simple table runner, candles, and small potted plants to enhance the dining area’s aesthetics.
For added functionality, a bar cart or serving station nearby keeps drinks and snacks within reach, making it easy to entertain.
Lighting Your Pergola for an Inviting Ambiance
As the sun sets, the right lighting will keep your pergola space warm and inviting. Texas evenings can be magical with a cozy ambiance created by soft lighting that highlights the decor and architecture of your pergola. Here are some lighting ideas to consider:
1. String Lights for a Soft Glow
String lights are a timeless choice for outdoor living spaces, especially pergolas. They offer a soft, enchanting glow that transforms the space into a cozy retreat.
Hang string lights along the beams of the pergola or drape them for a more relaxed, cascading look.
Choose warm white or yellow-tinted bulbs for a cozy ambiance, and consider solar-powered options for an energy-efficient choice.
2. Lanterns and Candlelight for Rustic Charm
Lanterns add a touch of elegance to any outdoor setting. Place lanterns on side tables, at the edge of your seating area, or even hang them along the pergola beams for a rustic yet refined look.
For a sustainable option, use LED candles or solar lanterns. These add a flickering effect without the fire risk of real candles, making them ideal for windy Texas evenings.
Candles (real or faux) on tables or in hanging lanterns also contribute to a warm, intimate vibe.
3. Pendant and Overhead Lighting for Practicality and Style
For more direct lighting over a dining or seating area, consider pendant lights or chandeliers made for outdoor use. These add an upscale look and make it easier to see for dining or activities.
Look for weatherproof options that can withstand Texas’ diverse climate and select styles that complement your pergola’s design, like farmhouse, modern, or boho pendant lights.
Solar or battery-powered pendants can provide eco-friendly options for overhead lighting without the need for complex wiring.
Climate Considerations: Keeping Cozy Year-Round
Texas weather can be unpredictable, so consider features that make your pergola space comfortable through different seasons.
Ceiling Fans for Warmer Months: Add an outdoor ceiling fan to circulate air and keep cool during warmer evenings. Not only will this help with airflow, but it also makes the space feel more enclosed and home-like.
Weather-Resistant Curtains or Shades: Install outdoor curtains or shades around the sides of the pergola for privacy and to block out wind or bright sun when needed. These can be pulled open or closed depending on the season and time of day.
Heating Solutions for Cooler Evenings: For those rare chilly Texas nights, consider adding a portable heater, a fire pit, or even a built-in fireplace to bring extra warmth to your pergola area. This keeps the space usable year-round.
Final Touches to Personalize Your Pergola Space
Making your pergola truly yours is all about the small details that reflect your personality. Here are a few ideas to finish off the space:
Personal Decor: Add art pieces that reflect your style, like sculptures, wall-mounted planters, or framed outdoor art.
Outdoor Speakers for Ambiance: Install waterproof outdoor speakers to enjoy music, whether for a quiet evening or a social gathering.
Planter Boxes or Herb Gardens: Add a practical and beautiful touch with planter boxes or vertical gardens along the pergola’s perimeter. Not only do these add to the aesthetic, but you can also grow herbs or small plants that add fragrance and utility.
The Benefits of a Cozy Pergola for Outdoor Living
With thoughtful decor, lighting, and layout, your pergola can become the ultimate outdoor living space for relaxing or entertaining in Texas. From comfortable furniture and lush greenery to ambient lighting and seasonal adjustments, you can transform this simple structure into a year-round haven. A well-designed pergola adds to the home’s aesthetic appeal, provides extra functional space, and can even increase property value.
Whether you’re entertaining friends on a summer evening or curling up with a book on a crisp fall night, a cozy pergola allows you to make the most of your outdoor space. Let this guide inspire you to create a beautiful, welcoming pergola that enhances your outdoor living experience.

How to Draw Muertos 💀
Here is an elementary list of things that draw muertos.
Crystals: Amethyst & Smoky Quartz - number one pair. Amethyst is a healer and Smoky Quartz channels muertos and blocks EMF. Clear Quartz brings attunement. Labradorite opens. Even though Black Tourmaline blocks EMF, it strips the energetic presence of the muertos - so does Onyx. Other EMF blockers are okay - like Hematite.
Oils: You can use Aloeswood or Sandalwood. Or mix your own. My Muerto oil is mineral oil, gravedirt, and faux Civit. Pls do not try to get real Civit. It is gross - it comes from the sex glands of a Civit kitty. Just get faux at Original Botanica!!
Pouch of the Necromancer: Flor de Muerto - Marigold, Rosas - Rose petals, Hierba de Cementerio - Graveyard grass, Lavanda - Lavender, Malva - Marshmallow root, a left metacarpal bone not bought online OR cremains, snake skin, a thunderstone, one dollar or 50¢ piece bearing your year of birth - if not possible, a quarter will do. Use a nice, soft leather or pleather pouch in black. Wear this, especially to graveyards and particularly to graveyards in which you haven't visited.
Charms: Crucifixes, Saint Benedict medals, Santa Muerte pendants (don't wear her if your not a devotee!), an ankh, snakes, and any other symbol relating to death or rebirth.
Here is the bigger one: Build a boveda. If you have seen this online already, do it the Muerteria way! Its then a ritual boveda, not ancestral. The glasses of water are equal or lesser than the amount of candles. Never more, or the power is snuffed out. Only one more flame because more than that cancels out the fluidity of the union of elements. Never more than 11 present on the altar because it gets bulky and unkempt. The shapes are important too. A circle of water and flames works best for highest energy. A triangle in upright position means sending your muertos to work. An inverted triangle keeps your muertos at home. Squares do NOT work, they block energy. Tested them for almost a year. Don't try it unless you want blockages and obstacles. The water must be changed every 3-4 days if you are an active worker. If not, one week or sooner if the water is cloudy. Meditate, pray, do magic and if you have a pacted muerto, keep their vessel on this altar. Also! Flowers are a super great addition if there is room.
Opening the Veil ceremony: Maybe I'll include a version here. This awakens the muertos, but you need a staff - one you could dedicate as your Baston de Muerto. 😊
I'd have more, but these are major and they work!

Budget-Friendly Living Room Design Ideas That Look Luxurious
Tumblr media
Opt for Elegant Lighting :
Lighting sets the tone for any room, and the right choice can instantly make a space feel more upscale. Look for stylish, budget-friendly chandeliers, floor lamps, or pendant lights that add elegance. You can often find affordable lighting fixtures that mimic high-end designs. Place a floor lamp next to seating areas, or install dimmable light fixtures to create ambiance.
2. Choose a Minimalist Palette with Pops of Color :
A minimalist color scheme, like soft neutrals, grays, or beige, gives a polished feel to the living room. Add sophistication with pops of rich colors, such as navy blue, emerald green, or deep burgundy, in your throw pillows, rugs, or decor pieces. A consistent color theme throughout the space makes it feel cohesive and elegant.
3. Invest in Affordable Art Pieces :
Art adds character and a focal point to your living room. Look for budget-friendly prints or DIY artwork that reflect your personality. Consider framing personal photographs or creating abstract art yourself. Gallery walls with simple, inexpensive frames can create a gallery-like feel without the gallery price tag.
4. Upgrade Hardware on Furniture :
Sometimes, it’s the small details that elevate furniture. Swap out basic handles and knobs on cabinets, tables, or sideboards for gold or matte black finishes. These upgrades are typically inexpensive yet can transform the look of your furniture, giving it a custom, high-end appearance.
5. Incorporate Mirrors for Depth and Brightness :
Mirrors enhance a room's sense of depth, making it feel more spacious and luxurious. By reflecting natural light, they help brighten the space. Consider placing a large mirror above the sofa or arranging several smaller ones in an eye-catching pattern. Mirrored trays or decorative items can also bring an elegant touch without stretching your budget.
6. Use Layered Textures and Textiles :
Textiles bring warmth and comfort to your living room while enhancing its style. Add a cozy rug, plush pillows, and a throw blanket on the couch to create a welcoming feel. Velvet or faux fur pillows, linen throws, and layered rugs introduce a luxurious, multi-dimensional vibe. Mixing textures like faux leather, woven fabrics, and metals can help achieve a designer-inspired aesthetic.
7. Get Creative with Wall Treatments :
A room's appearance may be drastically changed by an accent wall. To create a budget-friendly feature wall, paint, peel-and-stick wallpaper, or even do-it-yourself wall molding Choose classic designs or textures that accentuate the opulence without overpowering the room.
8. Embrace Open Shelving and Organized Storage :
Shelving offers an elegant way to display decor without cluttering the space. Open shelves on walls or a well-curated bookshelf allow you to showcase decorative items like vases, books, or art. Keep the styling minimal and organized, mixing in a few high-end pieces if possible to create visual interest.
9. Introduce Greenery for a Fresh Look :
Plants breathe life into any space and add a luxurious, welcoming vibe. Affordable plants like snake plants, ferns, or succulents require little maintenance and bring a touch of nature indoors. Use decorative pots and place plants strategically around the room, such as beside the sofa, on a console table, or hanging near the window.
10. Go for Budget-Friendly Furniture with a High-End Look :
If you’re buying new furniture, look for clean lines and timeless designs that emulate luxury brands. Secondhand stores or online marketplaces can be great places to find quality pieces for less. Add inexpensive slipcovers in neutral tones to refresh older furniture for a modern, sophisticated look.
11. Personalize with Accessories :
Small, carefully chosen accessories like candle holders, decorative trays, or unique ceramics can add a touch of luxury without high costs. Gold or silver metallic accents, in particular, add warmth and style. Focus on a few statement pieces to keep the room uncluttered and stylish.
Conclusion :
Changing your living room into a magnificent place on a budget is possible with a few smart decisions and a dash of ingenuity. There are several methods to get a high-end design without breaking the bank, ranging from inexpensive lighting and fabrics to secondhand finds and DIY décor. Use a basic palette, overlay textures, and use small elements to create a great effect. With these low-cost design ideas, your living room may seem beautiful and fashionable, greeting you and your visitors with a sense of polished elegance.

Chic Contrast: Styling Tips for Black Leather Chesterfield Sofas
Embrace the Drama with Bold Contrasts
One of the key advantages of a black leather Chesterfield sofa is its ability to create striking contrasts within a room. The deep, dark hue of the leather provides a bold focal point that can be enhanced by juxtaposing it with lighter elements. Consider pairing your sofa with crisp white walls, light-colored flooring, or neutral-toned area rugs to create a dramatic visual impact. This contrast not only highlights the beauty of the sofa but also adds depth and dimension to the space.
Tumblr media
Balance with Texture and Pattern
While black leather exudes a sense of sleek sophistication, incorporating texture and pattern into your decor can soften the overall look and add visual interest. Consider layering the sofa with plush throw pillows in varying textures such as velvet, faux fur, or knitted fabrics. These tactile elements not only enhance the comfort of the sofa but also create a sense of warmth and coziness.
In addition to texture, consider introducing subtle patterns into the space to break up the monotony of the black leather. Incorporate patterned throw blankets, accent chairs, or decorative cushions with geometric, floral, or abstract designs. These patterns add a dynamic element to the room while complementing the sleek aesthetic of the black leather Chesterfield sofa.
Illuminate with Strategic Lighting
Proper lighting can enhance the allure of your black leather Chesterfield sofa, adding depth and ambiance to the space. Consider incorporating a combination of ambient, task, and accent lighting to illuminate the room effectively. Install overhead fixtures such as chandeliers or pendant lights to provide general illumination, while table lamps and floor lamps can be used to create cozy reading nooks or accentuate specific areas of the room.
For added drama, consider incorporating statement lighting fixtures with metallic finishes such as brass or chrome. These fixtures not only provide functional lighting but also serve as decorative elements that complement the luxurious appeal of the black leather sofa.
Infuse Personality with Art and Accessories
Personalize your space and infuse it with personality by incorporating artwork and accessories that reflect your style and interests. Hang a gallery wall above the sofa featuring a curated collection of artwork, photographs, and prints in coordinating frames. This creates a focal point that draws the eye upward and adds visual interest to the room.
In addition to artwork, accessorize your black leather Chesterfield sofa with decorative objects such as vases, sculptures, and candles. Opt for metallic accents such as gold, silver, or copper to add a touch of glamour and sophistication to the space. These accessories not only enhance the aesthetic appeal of the sofa but also contribute to the overall ambiance of the room.
Create Visual Harmony with Cohesive Decor
To create a cohesive and harmonious look, ensure that the decor elements in the room complement the sleek elegance of the black leather Chesterfield sofa. Choose furniture pieces with clean lines and minimalistic designs to maintain a modern aesthetic. Coordinate the color palette of the room, selecting accent pieces in complementary hues such as gray, silver, or navy blue to create a cohesive visual harmony.
Additionally, pay attention to the scale and proportion of the furniture and decor items in the room. Ensure that they are appropriately sized for the space and that there is adequate clearance around the sofa for comfortable movement. This creates a balanced and well-proportioned environment that highlights the beauty of the black leather Chesterfield sofa.
Conclusion
In conclusion, styling a black leather Chesterfield sofa allows you to create chic contrasts and elevate the aesthetic of your living space. By embracing bold contrasts, balancing texture and pattern, illuminating strategically with lighting, infusing personality with art and accessories, and creating visual harmony with cohesive decor, you can make the most of this iconic piece of furniture. With careful attention to detail and a thoughtful approach to styling, your black leather Chesterfield sofa will become the focal point of your room, exuding sophistication and timeless elegance for years to come.

How Rustic Interior Design Can Transform Your Home?
In recent years, the resurgence of rustic interior design has captivated homeowners and designers alike. This timeless and charming style offers a unique approach to transforming one's living space. By incorporating natural and unrefined elements, rustic interior design creates an ambience that is both inviting and soothing. In this blog post, we will explore the core principles and transformative effects of rustic interior design, shedding light on how it can truly breathe new life into any home. Stay with the rest of the blog post to know more!
The Essence of Rustic Interior Design
Rustic home interior design embraces simplicity, authenticity, and a connection to nature. It draws inspiration from the natural world, utilizing elements such as wood, stone, and earthy colour palettes to create a warm and inviting atmosphere. The combination of organic textures, weathered finishes, and traditional craftsmanship evokes a sense of nostalgia and timelessness.
Integrating Elements of Rustic Design
To truly transform a home using rustic interior design, it is essential to incorporate key elements with care and creativity. First and foremost, choosing the right materials is paramount. Emphasizing natural materials, such as reclaimed wood, stone, and wrought iron, can create a strong foundation for the rustic aesthetic. Additionally, integrating vintage or antique furniture pieces, as well as handcrafted decor, adds a touch of authenticity and character to the space.
The Power of Colors and Patterns
Colours are a key part of rustic interior design, as they can create a cosy, inviting atmosphere while still reflecting the natural elements of the outdoors. Warm earthy tones, such as browns, beiges, deep greens, and even muted blues, bring the beauty of nature into the home, providing a tranquil and inviting environment. These colours can be used in combination for a classic country look or used individually for a more modern take on rustic style. For example, a combination of a deep green wall and beige furniture can create a rustic living area, while a muted blue wall and brown furniture can give a more contemporary feel.
In addition to colours, incorporating simple and timeless patterns, such as tartans or gingham, can add visual interest without overwhelming the space. These patterns can be used as accents on furniture or even as wallpaper or curtains. Such details can help bring a cohesive look to the room, as well as add a touch of personality. Furthermore, adding natural elements, such as wood, to a room can help to reinforce the rustic aesthetic. Whether in the form of furniture, decorations, or even flooring, natural elements can bring a sense of warmth and cosiness to the space.
Embracing Texture and Imperfections
One of the distinguishing features of rustic design lies in its embrace of texture and imperfections. Rough-hewn surfaces, distressed finishes, and visible grain patterns on wooden furniture or flooring are all characteristics that add depth and visual appeal to a rustic interior. By promoting the idea that imperfections tell a story, rustic home interior design helps cultivate a sense of authenticity and uniqueness in any home.
Creating Inviting Spaces
Tumblr media
The rustic home interior design promotes the creation of cosy and inviting spaces within a home. By incorporating plush textiles, such as faux fur or chunky knitted blankets, homeowners can instantly add warmth and comfort to their living areas. Furthermore, incorporating soft lighting, such as warm-toned pendant lights or candles, helps to create an intimate and welcoming atmosphere, ideal for relaxation and unwinding.
The Bottom Line
Rustic interior design has the power to transform homes by embracing simplicity, authenticity, and a connection to nature. Through the incorporation of natural materials, warm colour palettes, and an appreciation for imperfections, homeowners can create a truly inviting and timeless space. By understanding the core principles and carefully curating elements of rustic design, any home has the potential to be transformed into a haven of tranquillity and rustic charm.

Lighting decor patio-When it comes to enhancing your home's exterior, porch lighting is an important element to consider. Not only does it provide safety and security, but it also adds curb appeal and can create an inviting atmosphere. However, with so many options available, choosing the right porch light can be a daunting task.
Tumblr media
While the summer months provide us with many more light and sunny hours to sit outside and enjoy the garden, I bet we would all enjoy a bit more time outdoors, especially as the nights begin to draw in.
By introducing outdoor lighting into our life, we could all extend our time outdoors, opening up our gardens as the perfect space to enjoy a night-time drink while snuggled under a blanket.
When it comes to outdoor lighting, you may think your options are limited to security lights and lamps which light the way to your door for safety, but there is actually a vast selection of lights out there for you to choose from to suit the style of your outdoor space.

Rope Lights Along Borders
If you have a garden brimming with plants, then it’s time to bring attention to them during the night as well. Illuminate plants by running a rope of lights along the edges of the plant borders. Not only does this give more definition to your garden, but it also shines a spotlight on some of your favourite blooms.
Light Canopy
Increasingly popular in recent years, creating a canopy of string lights above your patio area can transform your space into a magical place. Making al fresco dining more special, the twinkling of the lights can add a cosy feel to outdoor spaces, especially if you select soft, yellow LED lights.

If you have larger trees or stumps in your garden, then get winding a set of string lights around the trunk to create a warm glow in your garden in the evening. Not only does this highlight a key feature of your garden, but it also adds a magical, cosy vibe to your outdoor space.
Victorian Lamps
There’s nothing wrong with going traditional, so add a touch of the past to your garden with a Victorian-style lamp. Whether you choose a tall lamp post style, a wall-mounted lamp or Victorian-style garden lamps that stick in the ground, you have plenty of options to create this classic look.
Mushroom Lights
For a hint of fun in the garden, you can find lights in all sorts of shapes and sizes, with mushroom lights being a favourite. These tiny mushroom-shaped lights stick in the ground – either in your pots, planters or borders, and can add a cute illumination to your garden while fitting in with the nature theme.
Rock Lights
If you’re looking for more inconspicuous lighting, then rock lights can be a great option for outside spaces, with the lights disguised within an ornamental rock. The lights are also usually solar-powered, meaning you don’t need to worry about wires running all over your garden.
Tumblr media
Fire Pit
A different form of light; adding a fire pit or table to your outdoor space can transform a patio into a stylish spot with an eye-catching focal point. Fire pits also offer the extra benefit of providing warmth, making it the perfect choice for those who want to make use of their outdoor space year-round, even in the colder months.
Faux Candles
While real candles might not survive long in the wind and rain, fake candles can stand proud in your garden all the time, with a flickering LED light in place of a flame. With faux candles, you can achieve the desired look for your patio space, without having to worry about anything catching fire from a stray candle being knocked over.
Wall Lights
Another classic option, wall-mounted lights are a simple, yet very effective way of providing your outdoor space with a hit of light. While many outdoor lights will rely on solar power or batteries to function, most wall lights will be mains powered, allowing you to turn them on and off when you want to, and will likely be brighter too!
Wall lights don’t have to be boring, either. There is a wide range of styles out there, including retro or industrial outdoor lights, allowing you to choose the best type to suit your chosen garden style.

Curtis Ray Pepper Offers Tips on how to make your Bathroom look Luxurious
Almost everyone prefers to have a luxury bathroom. Accent lighting, marble walls and attractive looking tubs with great, picturesque views can certainly make a bathroom look classy. But when it comes to renovating rooms, the bathroom is one of the most expensive ones and this is why most of the people tend to leave this space as this is. Curtis Ray Pepper, a licensed general contractor working in the San Diego area specializing in restoration & remodeling bathrooms.
Following are a few tips to make your bathroom luxurious:
Change the lighting of the bathroom
Good illumination, whether artificial or natural can add a great deal of shiny style to a simple bathroom. Changing the lighting in the bathroom is one of the best ways to alter a plain space into a gorgeous one. Rather than the conventional light bar on top of the mirror, try out beautiful sconces on each side. If your bathroom has the required space available, you can opt for pendants as they offer a stylish look to the bathrooms. In addition, you can stick to window coverings or sheers so that maximum light can get inside.
Add artificial plants
Luxurious bathrooms usually give fresh natural ambience. Thus, beautiful high end artificial plants are a natural addition to the bathroom. In order to give the bathroom a spa like look, it is always better to choose plants with flowers such as pink silk tulips or silk purple tulips and place them in a magnificently shiny metallic pot.
Add a place to perch
Almost every high-end bathroom is equipped with some sort of seating arrangement. It can range from a tufted ottoman, a simple garden stool to an elaborately carved armchair. This not only gives a luxurious look to the bathroom, but also makes it feel grand.
Bring the Outdoors inside Your New Bathroom
Most luxurious bathrooms include the outdoors as a design element. For your own bathroom renovation, search for ways to bring the outdoors in. Faux plants and artwork depicting plants are not just great ways to reconstruct an outdoor space but can have Feng Shui benefits as well.

Decorate Your Bathroom in White
In order to give an elegant look to the bathroom and to make it more luxurious, you should decorate your bathroom in white. White countertops and cabinets create the background for a simple and stylish bathroom. Nothing screams classiness quite like white, it is clean, crisp, and aesthetically pleasing which is always an advantage. To create a high-end hotel bathroom style, you can decorate the bathroom with white bath linens. A casual bathroom can look more luxurious if you indulge on quality white towels.
Enhance the space of the bathroom
If the size of your bathroom is not that large, do not worry as there are ways to create the illusion of extra space by removing visual clutter, selecting a monochromatic color palette, and using a few extra luxurious qualities.
Add fresh white shower curtains
Curtis Ray Pepper further added that instead of investing on expensive glass doors for your shower, you can choose to go with a fresh white curtain. This will not only enhance the look of the bathroom but will also make it more luxurious.
Add some delicate scents
A luxurious bathroom engages all the senses. Thus, a gentle and attractive scent is a must for the bathroom. Diffusers are a very low maintenance and easy way to add some scents to the bathroom. You can also place some scented candles next to the bathtub. At night, this not only just adds drama to the entire space but also gives an ambience of relaxation.
