Boring.
It was so dreadfully boring.
Nothing to do,nothing to see,nothing.
You were so sick and tired of reliving the exact same things as the day before over and over again.
You wanted something new.
Something interesting, something that didn't happen everyday.
You sighed as you stood up from your wooden stool, stretching our your arms as you huffed. You've been sitting there idly for a while kow, staring into the ground before you.
Making your way out of your small tent, you turned you head to see the sun setting in the distance. The birds chirped, flying away in flocks as the sky was tinted orange.
Following a flock of birds that caught your eye,you decided to go on a stroll.Maybe it would help cease your boredom and maybe find you something to do.
"hmm~..mhm.."
You lowly hummed a sweet tune, the thick snow crunching beneath your feet. You wandered mindlessly further into the caves of dragonspine until the sun had nearly finished setting. The moon was already up in the sky again.Signaling the end of another day,and signaling its time to return to your camp.
But you didn't.
You continued to walk.
Until you froze in your tracks, your eyes widened at the sound of a high pitch voice that seemed to echo throughout the area.
"Come to play?~"
You gasp, your breath was visible due to how cold it was.a shiver ran down your spine.Turning around, you started to panic.
"up here,cutie~"
Looking up at the bridge like structure above your head, you could see a woman in a blue body suit, a hood and mask covering her pale face. She carried a lamp while small cicins flew by her side.
You squinted your eyes, feeling familiar at her appearance.Your heart sank at the quick realization.
Fatui.
Taking a step back, your expression was filled with demise.
"awh~ leaving already?"
She tilted her head, leaning the side of her face into his palm before she jumped down the snow covered bridge.Down to be right in front of you.The cryo cicins swarmed all around you.
"I don't think so."
You yelped, stumbling down onto the ground behind you.Sinking into the multiple layers of snow a little.Looking down at yourself, you desperately try to pull yourself out of the snow.
Your thoughts began to spiral, the sound of a sweet voice giggling interrupted your thoughts.Your head snapped up,looking up at the grinning cicin mage in front of you.
Once her laughter died, she put her hand on her hip.You could feel her stare through her mask.
"Im feeling merciful, and since you seem like an entertaining one,I have a deal for you."
You raised your eye brow as she continued to talk,
"Your freedom and safety,in exchange for my pleasure."
Tumblr media
Hidden away in a hidden part of the large cave, you could see a light emitting from the lamp that was hurriedly put to the ground.
A few inches away from its owner, who was panting heavily.Sitting on top of a rock as you were on your knees below her on the snow.Your head buried in between her legs.
"ah..aha..~"
Her moans were high pitched and airy, her fingers were the opposite of her words of praise. They tugged and pulled on your hair roughly.
She pushed your head further into her thighs, her legs wrapping around your head tightly. As if she was trying to secure you in place. However, she didn't want your tongue to stay still at all.
You sucked and licked with no complaints, pushing your tongue in as deep as you could.Earning you a louder moan and a few tugs on your hair.
"mhm!~ don't- ah~ dont stop- Im nearly- ngh..~"
Her words were cut off and twisted into whimpers and whines.Eventually, she came undone on your tongue again.
She threw her head back, her hood falling off her head while doing so.
Moving your head away from her,you slowly stood up.Leaning down to press up against her body while your hand wandered back down to her clit.Rubbing circles before inserting two of your fingers.
Starting to thrust your digits slowly inside her,you kissed her exposed neck.As she still had her head thrown back.
Leaving a trail of feather light kisses up from her collar bone to her jaw,you pulled back for a second before leaning back in for your lips to touch hers.Slipping your tongue into her mouth, whilst your fingers pace got increasingly faster.
"hmh!-"
Gasping into your mouth, you sucked on her lips and licked her tongue.Feeling her come again, her juices squirting all over your fingers and hand.
Slowly, you took your tongue out of her mouth and pulled away.Strings of saliva connecting the insides of your mouths.

frolicking in the flowers
Tumblr media
ganyu x cicin mage reader
you get sent to liyue on indefinite leave. you meet a cocogoat.
Tumblr media
well hello there. i’ve come out of my hidey hole on account of ao3 being down and me being absolutely bored out of my mind. so i went searching through my notes app bc a lot of times i’m delirious and write stuff and then forget about it and found this hidden gem (?) details below split.
it’s not finished bc there’s like three sentences that were supposed to set up the anal… and uhm if y’all want that then just like. get this to 100 likes and i’ll consider it. (but probably not idk)
details
Sub! Ganyu, Dom! Reader / Dubious consent / Aphrodisiac / Hoohaw eating 🍽
Tumblr media
You knelt down, grabbing the flower by its stem and yanking. You brought up your arm with enough strength to take out the whole root of the flower. Dirt sprayed everywhere and you made a face.
Sighing in frustration, you sat down with a soft thump, kneading the flower stem in between your fingers. The sun was at its highest point in the sky, beating down on Liyue relentlessly.
Yes, you were in Liyue. After the fiasco in Mond, your superior had sent you to the next nation over. Except the Harbinger Childe had no need for you, and dismissed you almost immediately for a ‘break.’
So now you were stuck here for however long. It was awful.
You threw the flower away, spatting in distaste. Your neck was slick with sweat. Thank the Tsaritsa you weren’t wearing your work uniform, or else you would probably be melting in the heat.
“I want a popsicle.” You mutter.
The pink dress you were wearing had a dark green stain at the hem and you frowned, annoyance rising. What you wouldn’t do to be back in Snezhnaya.
But unless Harbinger Childe sent you away or your Lady back home asked for your presence, there was nothing to be done.
“I might as well do something fun.” You muse, squinting your eyes as you tried to block off the incoming headache. “Don’t want to waste away…”
The sound of hilichurls caught your attention. Your head snapped in their direction, ears listening intently.
They didn’t seem to be in your immediate vicinity, but you didn’t want to stay near a hilichurl camp at all, especially in your tired state (who knew that doing nothing at all could be so exhausting?)
You got to you feet, dusting off your dress. It did nothing to help.
“Eeep!”
You froze. Then you sighed again, stomping your foot on the ground. How annoying. You couldn’t just leave a defenseless civilian to die by hilichurl, could you? Even the Fatui had their limits (except for maybe the Harbingers. They had no limits, they were all crazy).
But you had limits. Especially if it was a civilian who did nothing wrong, or tried to interfere with your plans (you had none anyways).
So you turned around, racing to where you heard the hilichurls from. You got to the top of a hill, looking down. There were hilichurls there, all right. Except they were all dead and a woman with light blue hair was standing in the middle. She held a bow, and you could spot a Cryo vision dangling from her hip.
You made your way down the hill. The hilichurls were beginning to disintegrate now, floating away into ashes.
As you came closer, you realized to woman had horns. Perhaps she wasn’t a civilian. You crept forward cautiously.
“Hmm? Oh!” The horned woman noticed you.
She was very pretty, you thought. Curvy, too. Suddenly, you had an idea. Admittely, a very bad idea, but like implied earlier, you were very bored.
“Hi!” You said, adopting a cheerful persona. “What’s your name?”
“Oh!” The woman said again, feeling flustered. Her cheeks turned a light pink. Cute. “My name is Ganyu.”
“Well Gan-yu.” You roll her name over your tongue. “What happened here?”
“I was sleeping…” She said softly. “And then a bunch of hilichurls attacked me! But I killed them all before they got to me.” Ganyu smiled, looking proud of herself.
“Oh, are you a Vision user?” You ask, appearing interested.
“Yes, I have a Cryo one!” Ganyu brushed it with her hand, looking down. Her head snapped up suddenly. “Do you have one?”
You giggle, hiding your mouth behind a hand. “No, I don’t. It does sound interesting though, doesn’t it?”
Ganyu nodded, bringing her hands to her horns. “Oh… I think I’m late to something.” She looks at you. “Sorry, can we talk again later? It was nice to meet you.”
“Of course. This time again tomorrow?”
She nodded, turning around and disappearing over the hill.
Tumblr media
The next time you met up, you brought a few toys with you. Random objects you could buy separately without anyone suspecting a thing, but you had plans for all of them.
You laid out a picnic blanket, light pink with off-white dots. Then you set down your basket, waiting for Ganyu to arrive.
She appeared right on time, exclaiming softly when she saw your little display. “Oh! How wonderful!”
Ganyu sat down, tucking her legs under her thighs. She’s not wearing the same outfit as yesterday; instead she donned a soft blue dress that went down to her knees. She patted the space around her, looking eager for what would happen next.
“I brought some snacks for us!” You said brightly, bringing out a box of пирожки. They looked like normal pirozhki, if it weren’t for the little something you sprinkled in while making them.
Ganyu looked over them, fluttering her hands. “Which one should I choose?… They all look so delicious!”
“Here, take this one.” You pick one randomly and bring it to her lips. She paused for only a moment before opening her mouth and gently biting into the sweet pastry.
“Mm!” Ganyu moans, soft powder dusting her lips. “That’s so good!”
“Isn’t it? I made them myself.” A lie. You only… fixed them up.
“You’re really talented!” Ganyu says, clasping her hands together.
“Thank you.” You say, watching as a soft blush creeps up Ganyu’s cheeks. Good, it was working.
“Mmm…” Ganyu mutters. “It’s getting a little hot.”
She shifts in her seat, closing her eyes. Her mouth is open in a little ‘o’, and small puffs of breath comes out as her chest moves up and down.
“Are you alright?” You ask, faking concern. You lean over, bringing a hand over Ganyu’s forehead.
“I’m so sorry!” Ganyu says, flustered. “I feel weird all of a sudden… your hand is very cool…”
She leans into your palm, and you shuffle closer. Ganyu sighs, pressing into your figure. Her eyes are closed, and you take the initiative to trail your fingers down her thigh.
Slowly, carefully, you bring your hand to her crotch. Ganyu gasps, her eyes flying open. She tries to twist to look at you, but you grab hold of her shoulder and keep her in place.
“It’s ok… let me help you.” You purr next to her ear. You take the edge of the dress and flip it out of the way, revealing her wet panties.
Ganyu breaths heavily, watching your hand with attention. She sank into you as you touched her again, throwing her head back. “Look at you. How precious.”
You stroke her a few more times, enjoying how your fingers get wetter. Ganyu let’s out breathy moans, and your free hand travels to put a finger in her mouth. She closed it immediately, tongue swirling.
You slip your hand under the band of her panties, feeling her wet folds. Slowly you insert your middle finger into her, watching as she arches her back and whines. “Ah!”
You take your hand out of her mouth, carefully settling her body onto the ground. With your finger still inside of her pussy, the moving around makes Ganyu press her thighs against your arm. You smile.
Taking out the finger, you ignore Ganyu’s whimpers and string her soaking panties up and over her legs, one by one. You run your hand up and down her thighs, throwing her right leg over your shoulder. “You’re flexible.” You say. “Good.”
Lowering your head to be level with her pussy, you flick your tongue out to taste it. The juices start flowing harder as Ganyu cries out in pleasure. You press a chaste kiss to her inner thigh before slipping your tongue back into her folds.
Ganyu trembles as your tongue goes faster and faster, letting out noises that would embarrass anyone who came near them.
It wasn’t long until she climaxed. Her back arched incredibly, and her mouth fell open. She stayed that way for a few seconds before collapsing.

got hyperfixated on my new genshin oc and now i can't stop thinking about him
okay. so. fatui harbinger.
"artem novikov" / scapino, the ringmaster
anemo vision and pyro delusion, polearm (scythe) OR catalyst (whip)
runs a carnival and circus in snezhnaya called "tsirk neba," which is on a little floating island :3
backstory (very simplified)
way way wayyyy back in old mondstadt, this guy was a court jester for decarabian. decarabian thought he was silly. and he knew war was about to break out. he thought "hey, can't have my funny dude get killed in the war, then he won't be there to make me laugh when it's over :(" so, the archon war starts, and decarabian puts a sleeping spell on him and puts him into a little domain.
fast forward a couple centuries, and the archon war is over. decarabian is dead, this dude's still asleep in his domain. the domain was only meant to be temporary, so it starts to become unstable and eventually falls apart, dropping him into the abyss. the fall wakes him up and he's just like ?????
a newly crowned abyss princess sees this random jester and is also like ??? so she decided to take him in. not like there are many other humans in the abyss she can talk to. she helps him train, and he eventually becomes the abyss order's rifthound handler. the longer he spends in the abyss, though, the less he remembers about himself. eventually, he's lost all sense of who he is. all he knows is his life in the abyss.
but then dainsleif leaves the abyss order. once again, this guy's just like ???? dude ???? i thought we were homies ????? anyways lumine sends him after dainsleif to punish him. he never comes back, though.
mf gets lost in snezhnaya. he has no idea where he is, no memory of why he was here. his mind's a little fucked at this point. he manages to stumble across a den of consecrated beasts and he's just like "well shit" but is saved when he's granted an anemo vision. a few weeks pass, and he comes face to face with capitano, who grabs him by the collar of his shirt like he's a wild animal and just kinda puts him in his carriage to bring him to safety.
he joins the fatui, where he is given the name "artem novikov," as he can't remember his real name. the years go by, and he becomes a harbinger named scapino. he doesn't remember why, but he likes making people laugh. so the tsaritsa lets him open a circus to boost the morale of snezhnaya and make the children more interested in the fatui.
with his anemo vision and newly gotten pyro delusion, he is very good at making illusions out of smoke. I have a very vivid image in my head of aether entering the circus and scapino's just like "hey you're strong, you should join the fatui :3" aether says no of course, but then scapino finds out he's looking for lumine. so he puts an illusion over one of his contortionists and makes her look just like lumine to try and manipulate aether
note card concept sketches (warm, fiery color palette)

(Take him back, I beg you. Plz. /joking)
A single crack is all it takes for an iceberg to break into pieces.
Wriothesley narrowed his eyes on the opponents in front of him. A Pyro Fatui Agent and Two Cicin Mages. One purple and one white.
While the thought did occur to him that going deeper into the hideout would be a trap, he thought he could handle whatever came his way. Then, he saw a white blast headed towards him, and dodged it- right into one of the weapons spinning around the Fatui Pyro Agent.
He was knocked to the floor as he felt the cold metal slash at his skin. He was able to protect his face, thankfully, but he brought his thumb to the corner of his mouth, and felt liquid. He smelled metal.
Blood. His blood.
From his years breaking up fights at the Fortress of Meriopede, Wriothesley reacted on instinct. With an eagle eyes, he swiftly got up and closed the difference between himself and the Fatui Pyro Agent.
One uppercut to the Pyro Agent's jaw was enough to send the agent flying through the air and land unconscious with a thud.
Next, he turned his attention to the annoyances known as the Fatui Cicin mages. With their mosquito "pets" flying around, Wriothesley needed an answer. He found it in the nearby river.
With the mosquitos and mages in his sights, he dodged the attacks they threw at him, until the river was right behind the mages and the mosquitos.
Wriothesley flicked his wrists and his gauntlets activated. The bright glow of the Cryo Vision on his hip intensifies as he releases a giant whirlwind of Cryo at the mages and their mosquito minions.
The corner of his lips turned upwards in triumph as he saw the mages try to run backwards from his cryo blast. They stepped into the water.
Exactly where he wanted them.
The mages and their pests tried to scramble away from the cryo blast and kicked up water. Small water droplets froze in midair as the Cryo Hurricane caught up to the mages and mosquitos, freezing them in place.
Wriothesley ran up and eliminated the now frozen mosquitos. He ran up to both frozen mages and placed a powerful punch. The ice shattered, and the mages were no longer there.
Unbridled anger seemed to radiate off of Wriothesley, as he came up to the unconscious Fatui Pyro Agent. He tore delusion from the Fatui Agent's clothes and crushed it under his foot. The sounds of cracking glass echoed in the quiet forest.
Wriothesley turned the agent over and handcuffed them to a nearby tree. He knew that the Fatui agent would be coming back to their senses soon.
Wriothesley didn't have to wait long for the Fatui agent to stir. He walked over to the handcuffed agent and crouched down in front of him. Little spots of ice began to form on his jacket, and on his gauntlets.
Wriothesley's voice was calm, but firm, as he looked straight into the Fatui Pyro Agent's eyes. Wriothesley's eyes held a ferocity befitting a predator.
"If you're looking for your friends, they're long gone.
Now, will you answer my questions, or will you be joining them?"
Risu. Where are you?
(Saw words and this happened. Take him back. Plz.)
tw. murder
"—You bumbling idiot. Had you read the label correctly, we wouldn't have gotten into this mess in the first place!"
"I'm sorry, I'm so—"
Blood sprayed from the Electro Fatui Cicin Mage's neck as her arteries were severed. With a gagging sound, she fell onto the ground, deep red seeping into her purple robe as her body twitched, twitched, and went still.
"Hmph."
"Master Scapino."
"What is it?"
"We have her age. It's 20."
"Tsk. How bothersome."
"What do you want us to do?"
"We don't have much time. Drop the Vision at Point O and monitor her condition. Your previous order regarding the letters still stands."
"Yes, Master!"
The sound of footsteps faded as the Fatui Pyro Agent left the lab.
"Kurisu... heh... heheh..."
The sound of maniacal laughter split through the night's silence.
"... you're going to wish you recovered your memories sooner."

Hello!! Thank you so much for your fic rec for LucKae/kaeluc!! 😭❤️ but do you happen to know one where Kaeya was kidnapped by the fatui (specifically a Cicin mage) and was sexually abused? He was rescued by Diluc I think but his cryo vision was taken. Kaeya is a bit unstable and keeps hallucinating that Diluc is not real BC he thinks Diluc hates him and keeps on antagonizing Diluc. At the end they reconcile and hunts down the Cicin mage to get his cryo vision back. Sorry for the long ask😭 but again thank you so much for the fic recs! ❤️
hi dear! i can't say i've seen/read that one myself, but is this (x) what you're looking for? it's the closest i could find that seemed somewhat similar to your description. if not, perhaps someone else has heard of it or seen it and can help in the replies!

@anomieheld asked:
Meeve knocks at Pantalone's office door before letting herself in. They had a deal of sort where she was to report any interesting movements from within the fatui to him and he would pay her back for her efforts. " Before we start. Do you want the relationships drama or the reports on who fell like an idiot first ? " The small cryo cicin mage inquires, hoping she would get some snacks at least for the effort of going all the way to his place to report.
( Meeve to Pantalone, we said he wanted the tea and she remembers everything XD)
Tumblr media
Many may not think on him as the 'gossiping' type, but he saw it more as being informed of his investments. If people were going to be wishing for funding from him, then it was only right that he knew they weren't wasting it, wasn't it? Or maybe this was simply something that he enjoyed from his past that he liked to keep hold of? Information was always useful - as pointless as it may seem to others. "It's always such a delight to see you", he smiled, closing over the folder he'd been reading moments before, the numbers now meaning nothing as he placed his attentions instead on the girl before him, a hand raised and gestured to the chair before him, "Please, have a seat. Start with whatever you wish to most speak of. I find these little stories rather relaxing. Ah, and I shall of course have some snacks sent for while you speak - anything you'd prefer today?".

A cicin appears and darts around him
-🌄
Diluc’s eyes narrowed the moment he caught sight of the cicin darting around him. His grip tightened slightly, instinct urging him to reach for his claymore. Fatui, he thought, a flicker of irritation crossing his features. Cicin Mages might employ Electro or Cryo, but he had faced far worse and prevailed. His Pyro Vision glowed faintly, heat radiating from his skin as a subtle warning to the creature.
He didn’t drop his guard, but he remained calm. A single Cicin Mage, even with their summoned creatures, was a minor threat in comparison to what he had dealt with before. If this was an attempt at an ambush, they’d soon learn just how poorly they’d chosen their target.

it wasn't out of the ordinary for the her majesty to personally visit lower-ranking members of the fatui - whatever it took to maintain the morale of her troops, one would suppose. veiled in black, her aura was as cold as the element she was the archon of, agents and gunners passing by bowing their heads in reverence as she walked in silence, heels echoing through the halls courtesy of its acoustics.
as heartless as she was, zvedza seemed rather pleased with the progress of a newly promoted cicin mage, who now walked by her majesty's side.
"... contrary to the beliefs of... some of your superiors," zvedza speaks, "but i am rather impressed by your progress, talvi."
despite her lack of emotion, the cryo archon did indeed sound impressed by the cicin mage's progress.
"though i do assume you have some questions regarding your recent promotion," she continues, "if that is the case, i do not mind answering them."
@sncwlight has sought an audience with her majesty.

of course. i'll be on watch duty, then.
<he stays just behind kaeya, never straying far from his path. he glances around at the icy foliage as he walks, occasionally swatting away baby cryo cicins with his gloved hand. they were no threat, just a minor annoyance.>
hey, kaeya? there's a lot of baby cicins around here. i hardly ever see this many when i walk around this area. it's possible that they're congregating in an area with a cryo cicin mage, so i'll keep an eye ou-
<his sentence is cut short by a full-grown cryo cicin whizzing past his ear, freezing the ends of his hair. several more follow it and are, once again, barely dodged. a member of a familiar fatui class steps out of the frozen bushes, congratulating her pests on a job well done.>
kaeya, cicin mage on your right!! be careful, it looks like she has a lot of her little friends...
<he jumps back to avoid being within the range of either kaeya's or the mage's cryo manipulation abilities.>
Dragonspine is cold. Frigid might even be a better word. Honestly, Kaeya thinks it’s unfair that his Cryo Vision doesn’t lend him any cold immunity. It would make dealing with the monsters easier.
He kicks the last hilichurl body off his sword, looking over to where Albedo is camped by a warming seelie.
“All clear! Should be smooth travels until we get closer to the mountain’s base, from what I can see.”

Starter Call for Fatui Cryo Mage Orabella!
Tumblr media
A Genshin Impact verse for Orabella as a Fatui Cryo Mage! Orabella is rather shy and flustered for a Fatui Mage, trying her hardest to prove she is worthy of being part of the Fatui. However she has a hard time taking down enemies, especially if they end up being nice to her.
Like or reblog to be tagged in a roleplay starter with Fatui Orabella! Crossovers accepted!

01 // sly villain – diluc .
note !! the first part out of two chapters (completed). a rewrite and copied from one of my first Tumblr fics, Sly Villain. (very cringe) Part 1 is more of a brainrot, part 2 is a fic.
contains !! she/her reader, fic + brainrot format, very messy, villainous reader, soft obsessive themes, mild violence, rated mature but otherwise sfw. very much inspired by that diluc cutscene where he interrogated an abyss mage by burning.
synopsis !! Imagine sneaking around Mondstadt as a Fatui Agent and getting caught by the Darknight Hero. He demands to know what you're planning or any sort of information, and you perfectly act the part of a scared underling who's only following orders. You can't help it, you're at the bottom of the Fatui food chain, you’re a disposable puppet. This is what you tell him in tears as he hesitantly lets you go. It's weeks later when you shake his hand, introducing yourself as the 12th Harbinger.
It was simple, really.
After La Signora’s parting, her previous roles were divided amongst the Harbingers; and despite her rather. . . domineering personality, she was a competent businesswoman who dealt with all the diplomatic affairs under her jurisdiction.
One of them being Mondstadt.
In all honesty, you would’ve chosen Sumeru. You heard about that little outlander, desperately looking for their sibling and ruining the plans of your coworkers. How you imagined what it would be like to finally meet such an interesting figure in your grey, bleak life.
Before you could even offer to take on Sumeru, that darned Dottore had grabbed the papers and convinced Pierro he was most suited for the job, leaving you to that plain ol’ windy nation – leaving you desperate for a source of entertainment now that your opportunity to meet the traveler was taken.
You skimmed through the records you were provided as your carriage rode down to the last stop before the city: Springvale. Previous notes of Signora, mixed with official and unofficial reports by the Fatui stationed there. You add in your own thoughts by the end of each report.
Jean Gunnhildr – Acting Grand Master, KoF. Daughter of the Gunnhildr Clan. Sister to Barbara Pegg. Anemo user. Boring. Goody two shoes.
Eula Lawrence – Reconnaissance Captain, KoF. Daughter of the Lawrence Clan. Cryo User. Useful? Can be turned against Mond?
Kaeya Alberich – Cavalry Captain, KoF. Previously fostered by the noble Ragnvindr Clan. Cryo User. Familiar. Under Pierro's sight. Why though?
The list was long and extensive -a testament to Signora’s eye for detail- but to you, it just meant more useless things. You could care less about anyone’s life story. Flipping through the pages, your eyes settled on one empty page.
Or, an almost empty page.
Darknight Hero – Pyro User. Vigilante. Wears all black + mask. Sabotaged the following missions*. Sabotaged the following stations and camps** (SEE BELOW).
You've always been the careful type, wanting to know the layout of every city you've stepped foot in. The aspect of being at a disadvantage simply because it's not your home base bothered you. And this? This was an opportunity to feed your boredom. Perhaps you'd find something worthwhile.
Mondstadt was serene at night; the stroll to the city from Springvale was almost enjoyable had you not been so excited to sneak into the city in a cicin mage uniform! You didn't attempt to hide your suspicious actions — no, you wanted to get caught. Not that you were confident he'd be patrolling; somehow, you just knew the rumored hero would be around.
And you were right! The minute you attempted to approach an unsuspecting teenager staying up way past their bedtime, you were kicked back into an alley. Movement so efficient and silent, you were almost shocked. A masked man with flaming red hair pushes you up against the wall, his tight grip on your wrist rapidly heating to the point it might leave burns.
‘Is this a pyro vision?’
He stares you down with a glare, eyes prettier than any ruby or agnidus agate you own. You almost smirk as excitement builds up in your stomach.
“What's your purpose here? Don't you dare tell me it's for diplomacy. This area is off-bounds for the Fatui.” He spat. The way he says Fatui with so much hatred has your back shivering in delight.
“I- I was only wandering around!” You stutter as you weakly tug at his vice grip.
“What were you planning to do with that teenager?” He pushes your body back again, the back of your head hitting the concrete wall.
“I- was going to ask for directions!”
“Don't lie to me. You've been lurking around the area. You're not lost.” You felt him losing patience as your wrist burns slightly. It hurts enough to make you whimper, but you can't help the internal joy upon your discovery: the darknight hero isn't just a random civilian doing vigilante work — no, he's a vision user with enough experience to interrogate and stalk a Fatui agent.
“L-like I said, I needed directions! Please let me go!”
“I can burn more than just your wrist if you keep this up.” Tears welled up in your eyes as you made an obvious sob. You feel the heat in your wrist diminishing.
‘So he's a sympathetic anti-hero? How cute,’ You thought to yourself.
“I-I’m just an agent under the 12th Harbinger! I was ordered to scout the area in p-preparation for her arrival. That's all I was told, I swear!”
“What do you mean that's all you know?” He says with a low growl, before he can continue you start to ramble, perfecting the reaction of a scared little agent.
“This e-envoy trip is my first big assignment, please! I’m at the bottom of-of the Fatui hierarchy, I-I just followed orders.” The masked vigilante stares at you for a few seconds longer, eyes narrowing in suspicion. As Diluc, he's starting to feel like the villain in the way he's threatening a vulnerable newbie but his gut was telling him that something was terribly wrong here. it's not easy to fool the overly careful darknight.
Pride swelled in you the moment he roughly releases his grip. There was a moment of silence as you bring your wrist to your chest, whimpering while you observe the slight burns that might leave a mark for a few months.
“I suggest you think twice about your career choice,” He says, looking back at you. You nod quickly, unsure if he feels remorse or sympathy but the fact that he walks away without another word implies that he wasn't planning on taking the conversation any further.
The minute you arrived in the hotel that fateful night, you immediately ordered your agents to find out the identity of Mondstadt’s darknight hero. Each day, they would tell you they failed. Each day, you'd punish them for their failures. To your agents, they saw it as the beginning of an obsession: this was only supported by the fact that you'd caress the burn mark on your wrist so sweetly.
It was your impatience that caused you to use your vision in order to figure out the darknight’s identity. Imagine your delight when you found out it was Mondstadt’s very own bachelor and tycoon, whom you'll be meeting in a few days.
It was your long-awaited moment. Your underling opened the carriage door. Your heart started beating loudly– Not out of nervousness — no, it was the pure excitement of meeting such an interesting figure that can quench your boredom with life.
You walked up the stairs to the Favonius headquarters, seeing the Acting Grandmaster putting on a polite smile, the famous librarian right next to her, and — him.
Diluc Ragnvindr stood with the aura you expected of a nobleman. He didn't sport a polite smile or a welcoming atmosphere, yet he was beautiful and you craved for him. You greeted the ladies first with a small bow, exchanging quick pleasantries and introducing yourself as the 12th Harbinger before turning to the redhead.
He raises his hand — whether it was in an effort to kiss the back of your knuckles or to shake your hand, you'll never know — Instead he pauses when he sees the hand you place on his. Burn mark in full view where the imprints of his fingers never quite faded. You smile at him, the object of your obsession.
“I don't believe this is the first time we met, Lord Ragnvindr.”

Kaveh | Under The Glistening Glass
ıllı Synopsis: In a world where there is only cruelty, you bravely put up a face and took your blade. Your trembling visage trudged forward with only one thought, ‘I'm glad I loved you, Kaveh’.
ıllı Genre: Angst, Romance
ıllı Notes: Gender Neutral Reader
ıllı Warning: Blood, Death
ıllı Parts: Behind The Stained Glass (Part 1), Over The Shattered Glass (Other Ending)
ıllı A/N: I had the urge to make two endings for Behind The Stained Glass, and it carried me here! I honestly feel like this should be the ending, but I’m more than happy to see how things would have ended differently.

“Akil, get them away from here. Take the emergency route and meet with the other matra not far from here. Go, now! I’ll handle things from here.” You ordered, clenching the sword in your hand. Before he could retort, you sent a piercing glare his way. Akil begrudgingly followed your order, notifying the mercenaries with them to take out their weapons and proceed outside with caution.
Kaveh noticed the group leaving you without a fight. He protested, but you told him that it was the civilians’ duty to follow the Overseer’s words, especially in their territory. The words he wished to say were stuck in his throat, a strained look in his eyes glaring through yours. A small smile made its way to your lips.
“Do you really think I’ll be taken down that easily? Have some faith in me, won’t you?” You ruefully urged. Kaveh gritted his teeth in frustration. He felt useless to the core, but you were right. You were elected as the Overseer because the Lesser Lord found you qualified. Your abilities and leadership spoke volumes. If Kaveh were to stay, he might end up as a nuisance instead.
The architect reluctantly followed Akil outside. Once they were gone, the Fatui Officer clapped his hand to gain your attention. He praised you for your heroism, but you knew better. They were empty words meant to ridicule you.
“Do you think that they’re safe outside, Overseer? We feel underestimated. Tsk, tsk. Don’t worry. I’ll personally serve you a platter of their heads after this. If you live, that is.” He taunted.
You said nothing. Intensifying the hydro energy in the sword, you dashed toward the man for the kill. He yelped in fear and ordered the Electro Vanguard to send you flying. Dodging the hammer, you kicked the vanguard’s neck and changed your sword back to bow to shoot at the leader. However, the arrows were deflected by an Anemo Boxer before creating a shield. You clicked your tongue in distaste, then focused on your bow to rain hydro arrows down. This distracted the boxer as you aimed to cut him down from behind.
“Idiots! How can you two be down from just measly attacks!?” He roared.
“Regretting your words now?” You scorned. Suddenly, you heard numerous footsteps raging your way. You saw the Fatui and Eremites congregating from the other exit, ready to attack. You grinned.
‘I guess the show is just getting started.’ You immediately kicked the officer down, saving him for last, before slashing the nearby Cicin Mage. An Anemo Eremite followed her from behind, her falcon roaring at you. Changing stance to bow, you immediately charged three hydro arrows and pierced its weak spot. However, seconds after the attack, you were surrounded by mirrors. The trap allowed the Cryo Gunslinger to fire cryo energy at your body. The subzero temperature numbed your fingers, and you knew that you would be iced if you did not do something.
‘I’m glad I grabbed this little one from that treasure hunter.’ You threw a pyro grenade at the Mirror Maiden, dispelling the entrapment. You used the time to charge up three arrows to distract the gunslinger before running to his back to pierce the tank. You applied hydro to his body, and the gas froze him. He dropped like a fly afterward.
It was difficult to take each enemy down, but you managed to dwindle their numbers. They were relentless, so you turned to the officer to cease their attacks. You informed him that the Harbinger, who stationed them in the area, had long abandoned them, but his obstinate belief kept him from making sound decisions. You shook your head before finishing the Electro Cicin Mage behind. The officer panicked and scanned the cave for an item he could use against you. He noticed and used a familiar bottle from the dead Eremite behind him.
“H-Hey! We surrender! I was wrong. You can take us back to Sumeru for trial.” He announced. Everyone was confused by his claim. A Fatui Pyro Gunner refuted his words but was shot down by his scowl. He held out his hand to let you cuff him. Even to you, it was utterly suspicious.
Just as you were about to chain him, he grabbed his dagger and stabbed your abdomen. He did not hit a critical spot, but something about the metal burned your skin. Unconsciously, you pulled it off, and blood trickled down your clothes. It stained the ground red. Your vision and hearing were muddled, but you could hear the officer guffaw in joy.
“You really are stupid! That poison should kill you soon. As for your little friends, they’ll join you soon enough.” He threatened. You heard him order the remaining Fatui and Eremites to chase after the escapees. You could not let him do that, nor did you wish to burden Akil or Cyno with your battles. So, you shakily took your vision and prayed to it.
“Ha… I can’t believe this. I’m sorry, but you’re… not escaping this place alive!” You forced your energy to the ground to create a wave that became lances. It pierced the enemies as screams echoed inside the cave. The attack left a bloodbath in its wake.
Exhaustion enveloped your body. The poison administered to your body was a quick-acting one. Even if you trudge your way to Aaru Village or Caravan Ribat, it would have completely engulfed your system.
“What a… painful way to die.” You huffed, clutching your sides in comfort. It looked like you would not be able to tell Kaveh anything now. Your heart ached at the thought of leaving the people you had known with sad memories, so you took out pieces of paper from your pocket and wrote down your last words. Each intake of oxygen weighed heavy in your chest, and your eyesight started to blur. You tried to finish the letter, but when you reached Kaveh’s, your mind took you back to the happiest moment of your life with him.
It was a typical vacation day for you two, but the sunset at the Sanctuary of Surasthana made you appreciate your lover’s presence more. His smile that day was blinding. The way his eyes creased into crescent moons and how dear the color of crimson pierced your own. He was dazzling, a gemstone of Sumeru. If things did not go awry, you would tell him how precious he was every single day.
‘I’m glad I loved you, Kaveh.’ You thought. Moving to the wall of the cave, you finished your letter to the architect. A contented sigh left your lips as the flames in your heart dwindled. Soon, you let yourself drown in the sea of tranquility.
Cyno arrived too late. The corpses of Fatui and Eremites littered the area, and by the wall, he saw your slumped figure. A smile was etched on your face as if you had been released from the burdens the world forced on your shoulders. His feet carried him to your body. He trembled at the sight of your blood-soaked visage. The moment he caressed your cold cheek, he broke down. Cyno wailed and clutched your body close to him.
“You… promised! Why, (Y/N)!?” He demanded. There was nothing he could do. He was aware of it. You were gone, far from their side.
After an hour of mourning and investigation, he brought back the evidence he needed and your body. He gave the notes to his underlings before moving swiftly to Gandharva Ville. The mercenaries back in Caravan Ribat were astounded by the sight of your passing. Akil even had to leave to compose himself.
Gandharva Ville was hours away from Caravan Ribat, but Cyno paid no heed. All that was running through his mind was to get you to Tighnari and give you a proper burial. He read the letters you desperately wrote, and it struck him how even in your dying moment, you still assured them that everything would be fine. That life would go on. Your kindness knew no bounds.
The General Mahamatra reached the village, almost collapsing if it were not for Tighnari rushing to him. The Forest Watcher was alerted by the metallic smell. He noticed your unmoving figure on Cyno’s arms and knew you were long gone. The tear stains on the general’s cheeks were enough proof. With trembling hands, the fennec fox reached for your cheeks and leaned his forehead in yours.
“You dummy… we did not send you to the desert to die. We sent you there to heal your heart! Why do you have to be so selfless!?” He cried, teeth biting his lips in frustration. Cyno reached for his satchel and gave him your letter. He read through it, and by the end of it, Tighnari was in shambles. Tears cascaded down his cheeks, ears down, whimpering at the loss of a dear friend.
The two carried your body to a special place in the village. It was near a tree where you would drink wine with them after days of hard work. It overlooked Gandharva Ville as well as a portion of Sumeru City. Tighnari even deemed it a perfect place for relaxation. They dug your grave, wiped the blood from your visage, and covered your body in cloth. The fennec fox found it dreadful to bury you, but Cyno placed his hand on his shoulder and squeezed it, hoping it would give him strength. The general knew he would have to order a tombstone in your memory. A special one.
None of the forest rangers interrupted them. Amir informed the others of what happened. He asked to give them space and offer prayers for your safe passage. Many who knew you were devastated by the news. Collei remained in her master’s office, silently crying at the loss of a teacher.
“Sleep well, (Y/N).” Tighnari whispered as he placed a Sumeru rose above your grave. Cyno finished his prayers and turned to the Forest Watcher. He asked how they would inform Kaveh of the news. Tighnari was silent for a moment. Deep in his mind, there was an irrational thought of blaming Kaveh for this incident, for hurting you and ultimately forcing you to stay in the desert. But he knew that they were the ones who suggested the barren lands. You told him in the letter not to blame anyone, but he was still bitter. You loved with all your heart. You sought to understand where Kaveh was coming from. In the end, there was no good ending for the two of you.
“Honestly, I don’t know, Cyno. I don’t want Kaveh anywhere near them, but he deserved to at least know of their passing. I just… I want to be selfish and hurt him. I’m a horrible friend, aren’t I?” He muttered. Cyno stared at your grave. He also did not want to say a thing to the architect. For now, they chose to keep him blind and deaf.
Days later, the Kshahrewar graduate went to look for the General Mahamatra. He wanted to know if you were safe after the encounter with the Fatui. He also hoped he could talk to you about his feelings and reform your relationship. However, the matra told him they could not disclose any information without the general’s permission.
“Where is General Cyno, then? I’d like to speak with him if possible.” He urged. The matras looked at each other solemnly and informed him of his temporary leave. The architect raised an eyebrow at this. Cyno always timed his vacation, inviting them for a game or two by the tavern or the village. He thanked them and went outside to think.
“Hey, is it true that the Overseer passed away on their mission?” A voice from behind murmured. It was followed by a hushed reply, confirming your death. Kaveh turned to them and demanded where they heard it from. They were skeptical and tried to dodge it, but the blond was desperate.
“Knock it off, or we’ll report you to the matra for harassment! Tch. Let’s get out of here.” One of them suggested. Kaveh clutched his case tightly and immediately left for Gandharva Ville. Tighnari would surely know the news, and he believed those buffoons were merely joking. There was no way it was true.
The architect reached the entrance to Gandharva Ville. Most rangers were out for patrol, but the sight of Collei grimly placing a bouquet of Padisarahs in a grave, in your grave, broke him to pieces. Cyno and Tighnari were there too. Anger bubbled up in his stomach. Neither the General Mahamatra nor the Forest Watcher dared to tell him you were gone forever.
“YOU! How dare you!?” It all happened so fast. Kaveh pulled Cyno up and punched him. He demanded why he remained quiet about the incident and was left in the dark when almost all of Sumeru knew you died for a cost. Tighnari struggled to pull the two away from each other. He saw Collei’s terrified face and ordered her to return to his office while they settled this. She was reluctant but followed him nonetheless.
Cyno, on the other hand, wiped the blood from his lips and punched Kaveh’s stomach. He reeled at the pain. Tighnari scolded the man, who only scoffed.
“What rights do you have to know about their passing? Are you their lover? Family? What are you to them, Kaveh?” Cyno sneered, unable to keep his emotions at bay for the first time. Kaveh gritted his teeth in frustration. He might have cut ties with you months ago, but he tried to listen to your words and think about his feelings.
“I tried, Cyno! Every day I ask myself if I did the right thing, if it was right to love another person. I asked people to help me! I tried, Cyno!” He yelled. Cyno was frustrated at this point.
“They did too! They did too… yet, they still lost their heart to you. I won’t apologize for not saying things sooner but understand that we, too, had to grieve. Here, take this. Let’s go, Tighnari.” Cyno uttered, carefully placing the letter you left before him.
Tighnari was unsure if his friend went overboard with his actions, but the pain in his voice was evident to pardon them. He turned to Kaveh and told him that Cyno believed you would heal in the desert, busying yourself with new tasks. However, it proved to be false when all it did was lead you to your death. He blamed himself a little for that.
“But you hurt them too, Kaveh. I don’t want to blame you because they told me not to. They loved you even on their deathbed, can you believe that? Ha… how stupid.” Tighnari left after that.
Kaveh read through your letter. He collapsed on his knees at every word you wrote. He could see how you desperately made it legible. You apologized for everything that happened in your relationship and asked him to be happy with his choices. You also cheekily asked him to give them one last hug to assure them they loved an outstanding man. He completely fell apart, wailing in front of your grave. He did not care if he lost his voice after this. There was no way to see your smile again, hear your teasing remarks, or know how your face would flush at his cheesy lines. There was no way now to restore the relationship he broke with his own hands. He lost you forever.
“I’m sorry… I’m sorry, (Y/N)….”
