Just watched The Pope's Exorcist and as someone who thoroughly enjoys FAITH (and religious horror) I happily noticed the parallel of:

Inexperienced (in exorcism) younger priest who questions his faith named John Thomas(Tomas), and an older priest named Gabriel(Gabriele) who go through an extremely traumatic exorcism together and are now ganging up to dispel the UNSPEAKABLE (the 199 places of evil).

You can see the severe case of male gaze in The Pope's Exorcist in the fact that they did nothing with the character of Father Esquibel. Like. The sheer amount of bottom poor little meow meow energy of that man and they didnt made it a little bit sexy. A shame

Watched ‘The Pope's Exorcist’ and this fucking priest [Father Thomas Esquibel] gave me the John Ward vibes while watching the movie:

I rate the movie 10/10 (sorry for the bad quality of the screenshot photo was searching for the full length of the movie on a movie site yet there was none of it)

I watched this movie on the plane and when I tell u I fell in LOVE with Tomás. Sweet awkward boy with big feelings who also slays???? And Daniel is Puerto Rican??? A win is A WIN. Also the end almost made me act up on the plane (yelling) I LOVE HIM OMG
