Omg!! Yesss chad meeks martin scraps!
Can you write a chad meeks martin x reader where they have a baby (boy or girl. Writers choice? and Auntie Mindy is going over the horror movie rules with them?
This is so adorable I want to cry 😢
@ladystrongofharrenhall
Your baby, Sage just turned 6, and she was finally old enough for you and Chad to let her watch her first horror movie. Just to see if she likes it, and a famous choice Chad and you picked. Stab.
You decided what better person to watch it with that Mindy? When the movie was finished Mindy went over the horror rules with Sage, mostly just to scare her or try to at least.
“Ok, so rule number one.”
“Mindy no, don’t scare the poor thing.” Chad protested
“No, I want to know!”Sage said
Mindy looked over back at Chad with a “see?” kind of look and caused you to giggle.
“Rule number one, the one that caused your daddy to get stabbed 20 times and caused your mommy to get shot in the leg. Never have sex, they failed that obviously!”
“Holy shit, Mindy don’t do all that extra shit.” Chad said
“Just saying… anyways rule number two! Never drink or do drugs, if your intoxicated your more likely to die because well.. your intoxicated and probably gonna do some stupid shit.”
“Great new word, for her vocabulary, Mindy.” Chad says
“Chad shut up, you say it all the time.” You say
“I- don’t take this out on me- this is not about me!” Chad says
“Shit!” Sage says. The whole room goes silent.
“See…” Chad says, you give him a look to shut him up.
“Never repeat that, ok sweetie?” You say
“Yeah!” Mindy says, as an echo and Chad starts laughing his ass off, as Mindy goes back to the rules.
“Rule number three, never ever say “I’ll be right back.” Cause you won’t you’ll jinx it and your get gutted and stabbed and your slowly but surely bleed out.”
“Ok, this has been fun, Sage time for bed.” Chad picks her up, and takes her to her room as she protests because she wants to stay up. And as Chads voice fades away you hear him say “I know baby, but you have school tomorrow.”
He’s a good dad. And Mindys a good aunt.

☆ Jealous boy | Part one (+18)
Ethan Landry x reader
PART TWO
Summary : if he can’t have you, no one else can, especially not chad.
Warnings : violence + mention of death + blood + mention of sex + voyeurism + y/n x chad + cheating.
Ethan had never wanted to kill chad so much as he did now. that asshole was in the next room fucking you. and you moaned louder and louder, but could he blame you ? no never. after all, you thought ethan was in class. and hearing you moan was the most melodious sound he'd ever heard. but it had to be him who had to make you scream. you should call out his name, not his roommate's.
after the woodsboro murders, you and chad got closer, after a while you became a couple, and since then, you have been living bliss.
"shit. chad i'm gonna cum."
"come on baby. cum for me."
ethan rolled his eyes. "baby" that guy didn't deserve to call you that, he's not good enough for you.
when ethan and chad became roommates, the meeks-martin’s son introduced you to each other. that day, ethan will remember it for the rest of his life, you wore a flowered dress that came above your knee, your hair fell in a cascade and you had blocked a pair of sunglasses in it. the brunette thought he was dead and in heaven you looked like an angel.
after that, the more the days passed and the more he fell in love with you. you were so nice to him, always a smile, always a kind word for him. for a while he thought he had a chance with you, until the day he saw chad kissing you. it was when he saw this that he went to his father's house and said "I want to do this, I want to avenge richie." his brother's revenge was just a pretext, he knew it himself, all he wanted was to watch that asshole chad bleed out. after that he could come and comfort you with his words and with his dick. you will be his forever.
one last moan louder than the others and he knew you had come. he never touched you, but he knew when you were done and when you were faking it. more than once he had heard you pretend. like when chad wanted to do it and you didn't dare say no to him, so you faked it to please him. but after chad left to take a shower, you finished the job yourself. ethan had heard you moan silently, and just imagining you touching yourself had made him hard.
that night, he had closed his eyes and then he had let his fantasies take over by jerking off. thinking of you.

that's it. ghostface was back. your nightmare was beginning again. you had just gotten off work and were walking towards your car when samantha called you with the news. after hanging up with her, you got in and turned the key to start, but it seems that your car doesn't want to run.
you groaned and threw your head back against the headrest. you picked up your phone and dialed your boyfriend's number. it rang but no one picked up. you then looked in your contact list and called ethan.
on the first ring, he picked up.
"hi y/n."
you smiled without realizing it. you didn't want to admit it but his voice brought you comfort.
"hi ethan, i'm sorry to bother you, but my car broke down. i tried to call chad but he's not answering. i was wondering if you could pick me up."
"yes of course, are you at work ?" he asked you
"I'm in the parking lot in front of the building yes."
"I'm coming."
"thank you ethan."
"no need to thank me. wait for me in your car."
"ok."
he hung up and you put your phone on the passenger seat. it was about ten minutes by car from chad and ethan's apartment, you just had to wait ten short minutes, you'll be fine.
time passed and you started freaking out. at each outside noise you jumped. you took deep breaths but nothing helped your state. suddenly, a ding indicated a new message.
you took your phone and an unknown number appeared, followed by a photo and a message. "
Looks like chad has other things to do.
you pressed on the photo to enlarge it, but you quickly regretted your decision. chad, your chad was shirtless, his head between Tara's legs, on your bed in the Carpenter sisters' apartment.
you put down your phone and started crying. you had been stabbed a year ago, but it hurt even more.
again your phone rang, but to indicate an incoming call from an unknown number, without the slightest hesitation you picked it up.
you swallowed your saliva so as not to burst into tears.
"it's you, isn't it ?"
the deep voice that had traumatized you was heard.
"yes."
"If you want to kill me, then go ahead, I'll let it go. I'm sick of all this."
"you've had enough of what y/n ?"
you closed your eyes and let the tears flow. "amber and richie killed me a year ago, ever since i've been wandering around like a fucking ghost so i'm the one asking you. kill me."
there was a long silence, as if the person on the other side of the phone was thinking. "no. I'm not going to kill you. you're going to live, and live for yourself, not for those assholes you call your friends who don't deserve you, and especially not for that son of a bitch boyfriend."
then he hung up. It was the most honest exchange you've had in a year with anyone.

that evening, ethan arrived, seeing your face streaming with tears, he asked you what was going on so you told him everything. putting aside your discussion with ghostface.
you were sitting in ethan's car when he asked you
"where are you going to sleep ?"
you hadn't thought about it, but now that he brought it up, you had nowhere to go. you couldn't come home and act like nothing was with tara. and you couldn't sleep at ethan's since his roommate was your boyfriend who cheated on you.
"I have no idea." You think for a while then an idea comes to you "Can you drop me off at the hotel ? I think it'll be fine."
The car came to a red light and he turned to you.
"Okay, but I stay with you."
You shook your head, smiling slightly "Ethan you don't have to, you should-"
He cut you off by raising his hand "Ghostface is outside and there's no way I'm leaving you alone."
you were silent and then nodded. Ethan, happy that his plan was working, drove off again when the light turned green.

obviously the only hotel available only had one bed in the room, but that was better than nothing so you convinced ethan to share the bed.
you growled "I'm dying to take a shower, but I don't have clean clothes."
ethan took off his t-shirt and handed it to you. you couldn't help staring at his sculpted body. he hid a lot of things under his shy boyish air.
"here, take this." he brought you back to reality and you shook your head slightly to scare away the dirty ideas that were merging in your head. you thanked him and left for the bathroom. you undressed and put your laundry in your work bag. the hot water that attacked your skin relieved you, you passed the shower head of your whole body, having fun adjusting the water pressure, then your mind thought of ethan and his body of gods. you should have thought about your conversation with ghostface or chad and tara who were probably still having sex in your bed, but ethan was invading your thoughts and without realizing it you put the water pressure to maximum and slipped it between your legs. the feeling was so good that you let out a moan, you continued to pass the shower head between your legs and instinctively you pressed it against your core and rubbed yourself up and down against it, you closed your eyes, feeling the orgasm coming , you were on the verge of cumming when Ethan knocked on the door.
"um, yes, I'm done, I'm coming."
great, another ruined orgasm.
you rinsed off and got out of the shower. once dry and dressed you went back to the room where ethan was sitting on the edge of the bed. you approached him and you share an embarrassed smile, you sat next to him and let the silence settle between you two.
he cleared his throat "um, i'm so sorry about chad. i didn't believe him like that."
you exhaled loudly "me neither."
he half turned to you "but I'm pretty happy it's over between you guys."
you frown "what ?"
"he doesn't deserve you. honestly you're the nicest, smartest, prettiest girl I know. you deserve someone who treats you right, someone like." then he stopped realizing that you were watching him.
you put a hand on his thigh "go ahead, continue ethan."
the position of your hand on his thigh distracted him but he tried not to show anything. "someone like me." he whispered.
and that's all you needed, you took his face in your hands and kissed him, his hands come to rest on your hips automatically. he pulled you on him, you put your legs on each side of him and you sat on him, something hard was felt against your pussy completely naked since your underwear was in your bag, you continued to embrace. he passed his tongue against your lips as if to ask permission so you opened your mouth and he inserted his tongue inside in order to dance with yours.
his cock was getting harder and harder so you decided to test his urge and you rubbed against him, making you moan against him, he pushed himself off you and threw his head back while growling. "you're going to kill me y/n." you took advantage of this opportunity to suck and lightly bite his neck, which made him moan. hearing it sent an electric charge through you. chad wasn't vocal during the act, and that disappointed you a bit, so hearing ethan the being made you wet. "I rather hope that it is not you who will kill me after having fucked me." you tell him about the joke but his gaze darkens, he takes your face in his hands. "I will never let anyone hurt you, you and me are forever." you were going to answer but he passed his hand between your legs and started to play with your clitoris, the sensation made you moan loudly, you closed your eyes and put your head on his shoulder.
his breathing was getting faster and faster as he inserted one and then two fingers inside you. "You're so fucking wet. All this just for me ?"
you nodded against him but your answer did not suit him, with his other hand he slightly pulled your hair back to make you look at him. you never thought he could be so dominating, but you loved it.
"Are you wet for me ?"
"Yes Ethan."
He looked at your lips smiling "Perfect."
suddenly he withdrew his fingers and swapped positions pinning you to the mattress. he took both of your hands and brought them above your head.
"don’t move."
he got up slightly and took off his belt, which he wrapped around your wrists and squeezed tightly to tie them. you stared at him, surprised, like the shy ethan you knew was gone. he got up, while looking at you he knelt at the end of the bed, then he spread your thighs with both hands, he took one and put it on his shoulder, you gasped when his tongue came into contact with your pussy, you started to move your pelvis for a little more friction but he put a firm hand on your belly, preventing you from moving as he continued his attacks chaining: sucking and licking. you wanted to touch him but your bound hands prevented you, you writhed in pleasure and moaned louder and louder as he devoured you until your orgasm invaded you.
You were trying to catch your breath when he got up, you didn't see him but while he was devouring you, he opened his fly and lowered his pants and his boxers and he started jerking off, you were watching his cock hard and biting your lip "let me help you with that ethan." he chuckled lightly shaking his head "I want it inside you sweetie."
you smiled at him and spread your legs "so what are you waiting for"
he didn't wait any longer to sink into you, and that night you didn't sleep much, ethan took you, your back to the mattress, your legs around your waist. then from behind, a handful of your hair in your hands, or even sitting on him, her back turned to him. you stopped counting after your fourth orgasm.

the next morning you were woken up by your phone vibrating, you opened your eyes, the daylight attacking you then you strove to find your phone, once in hand you picked up.
"Y/n!" Sam was screaming crying
"Sam, what’s going on ?" You got up and looked for ethan's t-shirt which had been taken off when in the middle of the night while in the bathroom he had taken you against the wall.
She continued to cry. "It's Chad and Tara, they're dead."
You froze and dropped your phone when you saw the ghostface costume hanging next to the bathroom mirror.
Ethan came up behind you and hugged you. "Now it's you and me my love."

For Samantha Carpenter x fem reader. (If you're doing requests, I'm not 100% sure if you are or not, please.)
Reader is Amber Freeman's half older sister (Sam Carpenter's age). Amber knows that Stu Macher is her sister's father, which she is jealous of. So after attacking Tara and luring Sam back to Woodsboro, Amber attacks Reader at Ambers and rs house. (Sam and Reader dated before Sam left, and once they've all moved to NYC, they get back together. R is also a little reliant on alcohol and weed after everything that happened.)
Holding On To You
Words: 3.3k (I think)
Relationships: Samantha Carpenter x Fem!Reader, Sibling!Amber Freeman x Fem!Reader, Implied/Referenced Tara Carpenter x Amber Freeman, Chad Meeks-Martin x Tara Carpenter, Mindy Meeks-Martin x Anika Kayoko
I wrote this this fic in bits, so the timeline is kinda jumbled. I only arranged which part should go where when I finished writing and decided to imply Tamber last minute because why not? Also, Amber's dad raised r as his own, which is why r refers to them as her parents.
The ' * * *' means a long period of time has passed.
Warnings: (18+) this is definitely not my best work, poorly written fight scene, angst, violence, cussing, grief, suggestive themes, reader has problems with alcohol. lmk if I missed any! (I don't remember if the core four were drinking alcohol in Sam and Tara's apartment, so I put something else here)
A/N: I didn't intend for half the fic to focus on reader's dynamic with Amber, but I felt like it's important to show how torn she is by how she feels with what happened. Sorry if I made it too angsty and not what you (anon) asked for 😭

Your phone buzzed at the same time you were about to go up the stairway leading to your room. Determining that whoever is texting you is more important than sleep, you unlock the cellular device to read the message.
(1:49 a.m.)
Amber: Tara was attacked.
Three words. Fifteen letters.
Your body turns stiff as if there was a supernatural force compelling you to stay still. Tara was attacked. The first thought that went to your mind was ‘is she okay?’ but for some reason you can’t explain, your fingers typed in different words.
(1:50 a.m.)
You: Does Sam know?
Is Tara in the hospital?
How is she?
(1:51 a.m.)
Amber: Such dumb questions. What you should be asking yourself is ‘who’s next?’
Your brows furrow and you frown. She shouldn’t be saying that, you thought. Amber was peculiar but if there was one thing you were sure she’s best at, it was being there for Tara - protecting her. The person on the other side of the screen that you’re talking to feels different from the Amber you know. Something is off.
(1:55 a.m.)
You: Don’t say shit like that, Amber. Tara got hurt. This is serious.
(1:55 a.m.)
Amber: Oh, this isn’t Amber.
(1:56 a.m.)
You: Then who are you?
(1:56 a.m.)
Amber: You’ll find out soon enough.
The chances of being given ample interval to question the sender of the text who is definitely not Amber reduces to zero the second a masked figure creeps behind you and slashes your arm. “What the fuck?!” Blood trickles down your skin, the wound deep enough to nearly make you see your bones. You have to look away from your own body or else you might collapse from the mere sight of it.
You’re panting, looking into the mask of your attacker. He tilts his head at you tauntingly. “And here I thought that the daughter of Stu Macher would put up more of a fight.”
You don’t react, but you run for the kitchen, grabbing the first breakable object you can find: the floral vase.
When Ghostface attempts to lunge forward, you aim the vase at his head, but he dodges swiftly, leaving the vase to smash against the newly-painted wall. You grimace. Your parents were gonna kill you the moment they decide to hop on their plane and get home. “They’re going to be so mad at me.” You complain while grabbing a kitchen knife.
This will do.
“What are you planning to do with that knife?” Ghostface wonders mockingly.
You make a face at him, “No more talking.”
And just like that, you got into a knife fight. You manage to stab Ghostface in the abdomen. He rolls over, his hand going over his stomach to assess the damage. Smiling triumphantly, you let your guard down, which proved to be an error of yours as Ghostface recovers enough to dig his knife near your chest. You drop your weapon, feeling your eyes flutter shut. Your attacker slowly removes his mask, shocking you, yet it was like the time you fade out of consciousness was also planned since you pass out way before you can see what he looks like.
* * *
“We’re waiting for you downstairs.”
You stop what you were doing to look up at Tara. She sends you a sympathetic look and you shoot her one back. “I’ll finish up in 5 minutes.” You say, motioning to the clothes that are yet to be packed into your suitcase.
“Okay.” Tara’s attention is drawn to the picture frame on the nightstand. It was of you and Amber when you were children. She was wearing a pirate costume while you wore a witch’s. “Are you bringing that with you?”
“Yes.” You reply, taking the frame in your hands, fingers ghosting over the photograph. “It was one of our happiest memories together. She was such a sweet kid. I’d like to remember her that way instead of…” You trail off, taking a sharp intake of breath. A month has passed since your sister attacked you and murdered people. You’d never know why she did it nor do you want to. Some things are better left unsaid. Tara, however, felt the opposite. She knew Amber differently and you can understand how she feels, to an extent. “You can keep it if you want. I have other photos in this room stored somewhere.”
Even though Tara shakes her head ‘no’, she is appreciative. “No, it’s fine. I have pictures of my own too.”
The two of you bask in the silence. No other words needed to be shared. Tara leaves you alone after that, but the space she formerly occupied isn’t left empty for long when Sam appears by the doorway.
You grin when you see her, “Hi.” It’s the first time in days that you managed to smile authentically. Going through the worst thing imaginable can dim someone’s light and you were in no position to pretend that everything was okay when circumstances proved the opposite. Although it pained you to think about that night, seeing Sam made you feel that you weren’t alone.
“Hey.” She replies. “Ready to go?”
“Most definitely.” You answer with the truth as you zip up your last bag, ready to leave this place behind and start anew.
Sam holds out her hand, “Come on.”
You don’t take one last look back. You’d be lying if you said you would miss this house. Everything direful that happened in Woodsboro began here, so it is fitting that this is also where it should end.
Or at least, that’s what you thought.
* * *
The bottle in your hand weighs lighter than your grief. That’s what you keep telling yourself during these types of moments. It’s a remedy. Ephemeral, maybe, but it helps you forget. That’s the one thing you could ask for.
You nurse your wounds at a bar stool. The time is a bit early for a Saturday for you to be drinking, just how you like it. You take a sip, then another, and another, making you finish your drink earlier than you’d like. “Fucking hell.” A new bottle slides over in front of you before you can ask the bartender for one more drink. Turning your attention to your side, you note a woman staring right at you, a sly smirk on her lips.
Once you give her a nod as a ‘thank you’ for the booze, you go back to the bottle, indicating you want to be left alone. Unfortunately for you, the woman does not take the hint. She moves to the stool next to yours, hoping to shoot her shot.
“Hey.” She says, her bright blue eyes shining in the dim light of the bar. Although you cannot deny that she’s attractive, you’d rather be gazing into a different pair of eyes, preferably brown ones on the face of the only girl you’ve ever loved. “I’m Jolene.”
“Hi, Jolene.” Putting down the bottle, you purse your lips, hoping that this exchange would end soon. You tense when Jolene places a hand on your right shoulder.
Jolene chuckles, unbothered by the signs that you were uneasy, “You’re a little tense.” She pauses, gauging your reaction, “I can help you relax.”
“Look, I appreciate the offer, but, uh. . . I’m kind of waiting for someone, so if you don’t mind. . .” You pull your arm away, pretending to look at the entrance to the bar as if you were meeting one of your friends. Truthfully, it should be a lost cause since you haven’t told anybody that you would be here, including Sam.
“Well, let me keep you company while they arrive.”
You internally groan. “Respectfully, Jolene, and I mean this in the nicest way possible since you seem like a good person, leave me alone.”
“Are you sure?”
“A hundred percent.”
Jolene smiles understandingly, about to get up and turn away, but then her mouth drops open as if she’s seen a movie star, “Wait, you’re one of the survivors of the murders at that one house in Woodsboro! Your sister tried to kill you and your biological father was a killer too, right?! Stu Macher, that’s what his name was.”
Of course. That’s why she approached you. She only pretended not to know who you were until you tried to convince her to piss off. Great. “Bye now.” You throw a fifty dollar bill on the counter, hastily running out of the place as if you were brought back to those nights spent in that house trying so desperately to get away. The feeling of tightness takes place in your chest. You see a stranger pass by with hair that looks exactly like Amber’s and you turn lugubrious. No matter what she did, she was still your sister. You want to hate her for everything she did to you, to Tara, to everyone you thought she cared for. However, missing her triumphs all the other emotions you have. Though that may not be an excuse for her wrongdoings, it makes you mourn what has and what would have been.
You wanted her to go to college. You wanted to be the one on the front row cheering her on as she accepts her diploma. You wanted to be the person she turns to for relationship advice. You would have wanted her there when both you and Sam began getting harassed online just because your fathers were serial killers. Amber would have fought anyone who attempted to cross a line. Sometimes it felt like she was your big sister even though you are technically older.
And then it hits you.
You’d always be stuck in that goddamn stupid, cursed house, persistently wishing that things had been different. That you hadn’t moved there, that your sister never met Richie, that you have the same biological father as Amber. Standing in the middle of the sidewalk, you realized that maybe you never left the place at all. You are in New York (You’re not deluded. You know that much.), but a piece of your heart would eternally be in Stu Macher’s house with Amber at the doorway while the other half is chasing after a love that might never be.
* * *
Sam drops by in your shared room to ask what you want for dinner. On Saturdays when neither of you are working, you and Sam order food and watch a movie that is preferably a romcom or fantasy. The unspoken rule being: watching horror is out of the equation.
She notices your swollen eyes and discards her phone on the table to comfort you. Sam climbs into your bed, arms circling around your waist in order to ground you. “I’m here. It’s okay.”
You don’t speak, fearing that your voice might crack and that it might show that you are as weak as you think you are.
But of course, Sam notices. “I know you don’t want to talk right now, so I’ll just hold onto you. If or when you want to talk, you can squeeze my hand. Is that okay?”
You shake your head in affirmation, locking your fingers with Sam’s, granting yourself the permission to crumble in her arms.
Once your heartbeat slows to a calm rhythm and the heartache subsides to a low wave that stays at your feet, you squeeze her hand three times.
“I’m listening.” Sam says, sensing your hesitance. Understanding where your diffidence comes from (she sees it in herself too), she adds, “I won’t judge you. I’m here to listen and if you want advice, I’ll try to give one. If you don’t want me to say anything, that’s fine too. Whatever works best for you.”
She is giving you the space to feel. Not a lot of people can say that and still stay after you’ve poured your heart out. Sam is different from most people because she cares. You are each other’s anchor. That’s why it doesn't take much convincing for you speak of your feelings bit by bit without worrying about falling into a rabbit hole. Knowing that Sam is there with you, listening, holding your hand, is more than enough motivation to keep going.
“. . . Sam, is it wrong? To miss Amber? The whole world tells me what she is. A murderer. But I- I saw it in her eyes that night at the party. Hesitation. Remorse. She told me that she was jealous that I got to be the one whose father was a serial killer but when she pointed the gun at my head, I saw something else flicker in her eyes. I don’t know. It’s probably just my brain making things up to make me feel better. Maybe I should just accept that my sister was a killer and move on. I shouldn’t even be feeling like this when I know she murdered people in cold blood — people I used to know. Am I crazy?” Once you started talking, you couldn’t stop. It was like you’ve been bottling this up to release it at the right moment. The memories of that night resurfaced in the forefront of your mind, acknowledging them for the first time. By now, you were laying on your back while Sam had an arm wrapped around your shoulder and the other still on your waist. For less than a minute, you were scared that she would push you away in a literal sense.
She didnt.
“It’s not wrong, Y/n. She was your sister, of course you have the right to miss her. Now, I still don’t understand her motive and I won’t try to because she hurt Tara and you. But you knew her better than me or the people calling her names. You knew the kid that she was. You know what’s real. You are allowed to have your own opinion of Amber even if it isn’t what others want you to think. You’re not crazy for feeling these things. I’d be scared if you didn’t feel anything at all. It’s normal. You’re human. Don’t be too hard on yourself because of something you can’t control.” Sam says, soft but stern.
You take this opportunity to gaze into her eyes, seeing reverence, sympathy, and devotion all in one. She took the parts of yourself that you hated and treated them as if they were something sacred. When you have a person like that in your life - one who helps you accept your flaws instead of turning them away -, you start to see flowers bloom in the pieces you considered damaged. She loved the things about you that you execrated.
Before Sam, you gave love a definition: it is a thing that enfeebles you - yet that’s not all that there is to it. Love can be a chain, it can be suffocating, and there is no doubt that it can shatter you until the only thing you have left is a piece of a broken mirror to prove that it existed; but it can also be a tune (like the song you sung as a kid that you never paid much thought to), a soft bed, a dance, or a simple look a person gives that sends your heart fluttering no matter how many times you have been on the receiving end of it.
“Sam?” You call out, realizing that you’ve spent a while not responding.
“Yeah?”
“Thank you for listening,” You say quietly. “and for not becoming a stranger.”
She smiles gently.
Your heart flutters.
* * *
Tara lets out a deep breath. She’s laying down with a novel in her hand that became abandoned three minutes ago, her attention now focused on glaring at you and Sam from her position on the couch. “Just get back together already. I’m so tired of watching you two tiptoe around each other with your unresolved feelings!” She yells, roughly flipping a page of the book in order to prove her annoyance. Sam, who was currently on dish duty, dropped a plate upon hearing Tara’s comment. (It didn’t break, fortunately.)
“Are you talking about the book or…?” Of course, Chad would be the one to make the situation far more awkward than it needs to be. You don’t hate the kid, but he does get oblivious at times, which you normally wouldn’t mind if it doesn’t affect you. Mindy punches him in the shoulder. His mouth gapes. He looks at you, then at Sam. “Ohhhh.”
“Idiot.” Mindy mumbles.
“I agree with Tara though.” Anika comments, pointing her apple drink at Tara. (You and Sam don’t allow the kids to drink at the apartment, so the only beverages available are apple and orange juice boxes.)
“Me too, babe.” Mindy beams proudly as if Anika gave the answer to an unsolvable mathematical equation and gives her girlfriend a peck on the lips.
Chad makes gagging noises, averting his eyes away from the couple.
You see the scene unfold in front of you with a smile before you turn away to take the popcorn out of the microwave. “I think we’re driving Tara crazy with the suspense.” You joke, transferring the popcorn to a bowl and placing another bag inside the microwave. Sam shoots you a questioning glance, referring to the amount of popcorn bags that were already cooked. “I was thinking that each couple would have a bag or bowl each. Mindy and Anika, Chad and Tara. I wasn’t sure if you wanted to share with me, which is why I put another-”
Sam takes out the uncooked popcorn from the microwave, interrupting what would have been your rambling, “Of course I’d share with you. You’re my girlfriend.”
You look away, unable to keep a smile off your face. “I will never get tired of hearing that.” As you busy yourself with placing the popcorn on three separate bowls, Sam observes the group on the living room.
“I think we should tell them.”
“Huh?”
“About us. It’s time, don’t you think?”
“Yeah.” You take Sam’s hands in your own, pressing a kiss to her knuckles. “I’m ready.” You look at her lovingly. “How should we do it?”
Sam sports a mischievous smirk, “I know just the right way.” She ‘accidentally’ drops another plate (which, amazingly, didn’t break as well), drawing the attention of Tara, Chad, Mindy, and Anika. She gives you the go signal and you kiss her, bringing your bodies closer.
“TARA, SOMETHING’S HAPPENING IN THE KITCHEN!”
“WHAT ARE YOU- OH MY GOD!” Tara exclaims.
“CHAD, GIVE ME THE CAMERA!” Anika flails her arms chaotically for Chad’s phone, instantly snapping pictures of you and Sam the moment the device is handed to her.
Chad grins, giving you a thumbs up.
When you pull away from Sam for air, Tara runs up to you with questions at the ready. Sam did most of the talking. You added a few things here and there, looking back at how far you’ve come. The grief never went away. It’s still lingering. Except this time, you don’t feel the panic. You focus on the memories - the good and the bad. Those things are the reason why you’re where you're at right now. Although you’d have liked some of it to turn out differently, you can’t change the past, hence why you don’t shy away from what happened as much as you used to. You hold on to the memories the way you’d want to hold on to the love of your life.
“You okay?” Sam asks, rubbing a comforting hand on your shoulder.
You realize that you’ve been crying. “Yeah, they’re happy tears. It’s just. . .” You breathe out, feeling the weight of hopelessness on your shoulders disappear.
It felt like finally coming home after a long journey.

Tara Carpenter X Fem!Reader
Samantha Carpenter couldn't leave her little sister unprotected especially now as she had been attacked. She thought back to when they were younger and how she watched all of them.
Images of a young Mindy, Chad and Y/N playing with Tara in her backyard going through her mind. She'd laugh as she'd watch Mindy and Chad try to tag team to beat Tara in a game and Y/N always came to the rescue even when she knew she'd get the brunt of their force.
Her shiny (e/c) eyes always looking to her younger sister in complete adoration.
She remembered the day the girl ran in the rain searching every sidewalk for Tara's favorite necklace. The younger Carpenter heart broken until the two came back necklace in hand. Y/N even going as far as cleaning it and putting it in a jewelry box to keep it from getting lost again.
"Babe we're here." Richie broke Sam from her trance as she parked in front of the familiar house. She knocked quietly pushing the door open and finding her favorite kids sitting in the Meeks-Martin living room. She started introducing everyone as she hugged them going last with Y/N as the two stayed embraced just a little longer.
To Sam, Y/N was family. She remembered when she had first found out about her situation at home and the blatant neglect her parents gave her. She'd allow the girl to stay over for nights on end worried that her abusive father would bring harm to her. Sam barely spared a glance to Amber who just gave a fake smile in return. It took a moment before she realized the black haired girl was wearing Tara's necklace.
The group were discussing their list of suspects The former sheriff Dewey providing his insight as well.
"And where were you Y/n?" She saw the girl flinch from the corner of her eye as she and Amber began to stare each other down.
"Like I told the police I went out to get food."
"Suspicious." Muttered Wes. She turned her narrowed eyes to the blonde.
"Tell me Wes what motive would I have for hurting Tara?!" The boy gave a sarcastic grin.
"You mean besides the fact that she left you for Amber?" Y/N's jaw clenched as Sam's eyes shot up in surprise.
Amber chuckled shrugging.
"What can I say? The heart wants what it wants, and he does have a point. Didn't the police mention how the killer somehow knew about Tara's alarm system?"
You just grit your teeth not bothering to respond as Mindy went to defend you.
"If that's the case Wes then don't both you and Amber have just the same chance at being the killer?" The blonde and raven haired girl turned to the female twin.
"Excuse me?!"
"Seriously?"
Mindy scoffed. "Oh please Wes we all know about your crush on Tara even before she began dating anyone, and Amber may want to make sure no one can take her the same way she got her." She paused for dramatic effect. "If I can't have her no one can."
Chad and Liv still eyed Y/N who had yet to say anything to defend herself.
Amber just smirked as Wes panicked to defend himself.
"I have an alibi!"
"Aren't there usually two killers in the Stab films?" Liv spoke from beside her boyfriend.
"Not in the 8th film Liv stay in your lane." The pink haired girl scowled.
"I'm sorry and you are?" Richie asked.
"Liv, Chads girlfriend-"
"Of six months!" The overly cheerful boy finished making her kiss his cheek.
"And no one thinks that's suspicious?" Dewey spoke from his seat. He turned to Richie. "And how long have you and Sam been dating?"
Richie mumbled. "Six months."
Sam turned to Y/n.
"You guys finally got together?" It was the first question she'd ask since she got there. The younger girl nodded a small smile on her lips before it fell. She did not explain any further as she looked out the window.
Sam thought back to the day Y/n came to her for advice on her feelings for her younger sister. The poor girl felt as if something was wrong with her because she felt warm whenever her sister was around. How she found everything about her fascinating. She was sweating, fingers picking at the skin as she was scared Sam wouldn't love her the same.
Sam tried her best to make sure the girl knew her feelings were perfectly normal and nothing to be ashamed of. She knew they'd probably take a while to officially get together but she'd hope once they did they'd stick together no matter what. She also hoped she'd know that they would always be there for her no matter the circumstance.
Ambers phone rang. "That's Tara, if you guys don't mind I think I'm going to go make sure my girlfriend is protected."
Everyone had left the Meeks-Martin household and Sam had sent Richie back to the hotel. Before she pulled off she rolled her window down seeing Y/N about to walk home.
"Hey, are you hungry?" The younger girl gave a small smile and nod. The were sat in the booth waiting for their orders when Sam finally broke the silence.
"What happened?" The younger girl shrugged picking at a napkin.
"I really don't know. One day we were fine the next I'm hearing about how cool Amber is and I let my jealousy get the best of me. I made a dumb comment that if Amber was so awesome then she could date her. When I went to apologize I headed over to your house and found them kissing on the front porch."
Sam's eyes softened.
"And you guys still hang out as a group?"
"Of course, she may not be my girlfriend but I did make a promise to always be there for her." Y/n chuckled. "Plus Mindy wouldn't let me sit in my room and cry for more than a couple days."
Sam laughed as their food was placed before them. "And when did you became a couple?"
Y/n sighed. "It was a couple of years ago, she was getting a lot better so I took her out for a picnic on the beach. She was mad I had to cancel our plans the day before."
You smile softly at the memory. Picking at the food on your plate as she did the same.
"I don't even remember what she said I just remember kissing her and telling her that I was in love with her and have been for as long as I can remember. I told her I'd never leave her side and asked her to be my girlfriend. I told her no matter what happens between us good or bad at the end of the day we'll fix it. I thought we were doing great but as you can see six months later I guess we couldn't."
When they had finished, Sam offered to drop off Y/n but the younger girl insisted she go check on Tara, since she couldn't at the moment.
.
.
.
On her way to the hospital, Sam found cop cars outside of Sheriff Hicks house.
"What's going on?"
"Can't tell you."
"I used to babysit the boy who lives there."
"The sheriff and her son have been murdered."
"What?!" She turned and saw a familiar face. She ran up to the tall man.
"What are you doing here?!" He could barely get words out before she spoke again.
"Who's at the hospital protecting my sister?!"
Her phone rang.
"Sam-"
"Richie I need you to go to the hospital to check on Tara."
She jumped in the surprised when Dewey got in the passenger seat.
"DRIVE!"
She grabbed her phone to dial Y/N only to receive a voicemail. Her brows furrowed.
Over the years she'd kept in touch with her to keep tabs on Tara no matter what the time was she always answered the phone.
She tried again.
And again.
And again.
Tara sent Amber home. She went to call the nurse and received no response. Sensing something off she begins to get out of the hospital bed and into the wheelchair nearby.
She begins to wheel herself out the room as she spots a pool of blood. Following its trail she finds the security guard behind the desk bleeding out. His mouth gaping trying to form words. Tara feels tears begin to fill her eyes as she places a hand only her mouth biting back a scream. She goes closer towards his holster.
Fuck! No gun.
She hears a crash nearby and hides in the nearest room. She hears footsteps draw closer looking around she grabs a bed pan. The door to the room over opens. She steels herself as the door opens. She swings as hard as she can and nails someone.
"Ow goddamn it!"
"Richie?!"
"Sam called said you were in trouble-"
"Look out!"
He turns in time only getting his arm sliced. Richie falls to the floor screaming as Tara flings a box of nearby syringes at Ghostface. Ghostface falls back into the nearby bed as Tara tries to wheel out of the room. Richie moves to get up but Ghostface kicks him in the face knocking him out cold.
Richies phone begins to ring.
"Hello Samantha. Richie can't come to the phone right now due to his impending death."
Tara keeps trying to wheel herself down the hall her bloody hand pushing as best it can.
"Please don't kill him!"
"This is what happens to people who stick their noses in business that has nothing to do with them. Or...should I carve up little sis again instead? Tell you what, you can chose. I'll only kill one. Who do you want to hear die?"
"Why are you doing this?"
"Oh come one Sam didn't daddy always say it was a lot scarier when there was no motive?"
Ghostface yanks Tara from the wheelchair making her crawl to the elevator.
"Now chose. Or I kill them both." She sobs.
"Really? You can't save your own sister? All you have to say is "Kill Richie."
"Please-" she's cut off by the sound of groaning. Richie awake tries to crawl but Ghostface flips him on his back.
"Or you can save the man you love. All you have to do is say "Kill Tara" and I'll put her out of her misery."
"Please I'm begging you.."
"Chose now. Last chance to save one."
"I can't..."
"You want to know why I'm doing this,Sam? Maybe it's because you're a selfish bitch who can't even make a decision to save the life of someone you love! Maybe it's because you're too weak for this franchise!"
"Maybe...maybe you're right....or maybe I'm stalking for time, fuckhead."
The masked villain is shot three times as Sam gets to Tara.
"I'll get Richie!"
Dewey runs to help him back turned to Ghostface who raises their knife.
"Not today." He head butts Ghostface who falls back and shoots him in the chest a few more times.
"Let's go!" Dewey grabs Richie pulling him to his feet as they all get to the elevator.
"The head..."
"What?"
"We have to shoot him in the head....if we don't, they always come back." He begins to get out as Sam yells after him.
"Who gives a fuck?!"
.
.
.
Amber, Chad and Liv were all taking shots "in honor" of Wes as Mindy watched on slowly sipping a beer.
She looked to her phone still wondering why she hadn't heard back from Y/N.
The trio made their way over to her. Chad speaking up first.
"If you're still waiting for Y/n to respond you won't hear from her she's probably to busy stabbing someone else right now." Mindy glared at him.
"You really are stupid if you think she's the murderer."
Amber piped in. "Come on Mindy, it's obviously her. No girlfriend, no family, nothing to lose." She listed.
"Yeah her girlfriend was her family and everything to lose."
Great value blossom decided to jump in as well.
"Wouldn't that be more reason for her to kill everyone then?"
Mindy just glared. "Look if you wanna give up on our friend that's fine but I've known Y/n my whole life and I know better then anyone else that she would never have been capable of hurting Tara."
Chad shook his head. "People change."
The girl eyed her brother up and down.
"They sure do." She turned to go watch Stab on the couch as Chad scoffed going to the love seat to make out with Liv.
Amber went to the basement to grab more beer. Mindy getting up quickly to follow right behind her without her knowing.
Amber jumped seeing the curly haired girl once she closed the refrigerator door.
"Jesus Mindy!"
"You really went to the basement alone? What if I'm the killer?"
"You're not the killer." Amber spoke confidently. "Because I am."
Mindy eyed the girl before chuckling to ease the tension. She led the way up before she stumbled on a familiar bag, a knife and Ghostface mask.
"Isnt that-"
"Y/N's bag." Amber stated.
Sam, Tara, and Richie walked in disrupting the party and sending everyone home. As the two girls got upstairs Amber started shouting.
"Y/N's Ghostface!" Tara felt herself flinch. She didn't want to believe what Amber was saying but the way the killer moved in her home as if they knew the place then the special knock they'd made so Tara would know who was at the door. Mindy spoke up.
"That could be planted!"
Amber scoffed. "Jesus Mindy wake the fuck up your favorite couple wasn't perfect and shouldn't have existed."
"Where is she?" Sam spoke.
Richie spoke from behind her. "Waiting to slash out our guts the minute we split up."
The girls looked to him incredulous as Tara got Amber to take her to her room to get her inhaler.
Sam followed as Richie went to the basement stopping short for a moment. "Wanna come with me?" He looked to Mindy hopeful.
"Nope but nice try."
She turned to watch the movie only to be stabbed a few moments later. Desperately pressing her hands to her neck to stop the bleeding.
Sam ran when she found her, trying to help as Amber and Tara came down screaming. Richie appearing at the same time as Liv.
The pink haired girls hands covered in blood.
"Where's Chad?"
"He- he-"
"Oh my God!" Amber pointed. "It's you and Y/N, you're the killers."
"What? No-"
"You're the killer!" Richie yelled next.
"Fuck you Amber I'm not the killer." She smirked.
"I know." A bullet went between Liv's eyes as everyone began to panic. "Welcome to Act 3."
Tara tackled Amber as she went to shoot her sister. Amber tied her up smiling.
"It's ok you'll love the next part and you'll get to chance to say goodbye to your ex." She opened the closet door to show you tied up as well. Blood dripping down your forehead eyes growing wider as you see Tara.
The younger Carpenter sister began crying. You tried to place some of your weight on her to offer some comfort. The both of you breathing heavy and unable to speak.
Tara hoped you knew how sorry she was. She wished she never let Amber convince her that you weren't a good girlfriend or that you were Ghostface. In a way she was just as guilty for all of this.
The door opened again to reveal Sam. She looked at the two of you untying you both as she placed a kiss to both of your foreheads.
"Go hide." She whispered. Both you and Tara helped remove the rest of the duct tape from each other. Neither of you looking at each other as you did so.
You cleared your throat.
"You should hide in the bathroom Tara. I'll go down and use the element of surprise to get Amber and maybe with a distraction it'll give Sam enough time to get Richie." You turned to leave as Tara grabbed you by the shoulders to place a soft kiss on your lips sobbing as she did so.
"I'm so sorry."
"Why?" You looked into her brown eyes. "I thought we were good I know I said some stupid things but-"
"It wasn't you" she sniffled. "I was dumb and insecure. Amber kept saying how you were distant and should be doing more. Then it seemed like you would pay more attention to Mindy and I just listened. The more I hung out with her the less I'd trust you." Tears rolled down her flushed cheeks. "Everyone leaves me anyway so what was stopping you from doing it too?"
You shook your head. "You didn't even give me a real break up, you just showed up with Amber the next day."
The girl nodded. "I know."
"Even though it killed me inside I stayed."
"I know." She hiccupped.
"I still love you and I'm going to protect you no matter what." She looked up at you doe like eyes shining.
"I know, I love you too."
You nodded getting one more kiss in before you gently stroked her cheek. She pulled you back from leaving.
"When we get out of this we'll fix it right? Like we always do?"
You felt your lips tug up in a small smile and nodded. "Yeah like we always do."
You crept down the stairs as quiet as you could when you spotted Mindy bleeding by the TV. You took off your shirt pressing it against her wound. Bleary eyes looked at you.
"Y/n?" She was getting weaker. You nodded placing a finger over your lips.
You ducked when you saw Amber go to the door screaming before firing a few rounds at whoever was out there. She came back in running straight to the basement to put the Ghostface costume back on.
Sidney and Gale walked in guns pointed at you. You lifted your hands up in surrender.
"Everybody Ghostface or not better come out or they're getting shot."
It was all a blur but you woke up on the floor next to Sidney and a bleeding Sam and Gale.
Amber taunting Tara. "Come out come out wherever you are." She grabbed you by the hair making you yell.
"You don't want your first love to die do you?"
"Tara! Don't come out." Amber stabbed you in the abdomen.
"You sure you don't want her to save you?" You glared at Amber.
"Fuck you." You gritted out.
She walked around the corner getting hit by crutches. You jumped on her punching her repeatedly. The last punch you pulled her by her shirt collar.
"And that's for stealing my fucking girlfriend you fucking cunt."
A gun cocked and Richie stood before you.
"You really wanted to play hero huh?" A body slammed into him knocking him over. Sam straddling him and stabbing him repeatedly.
You looked down to see Amber had made it to the kitchen choking Gale. Sidney helped Gale get up before they both set the teenager on fire. You felt yourself sigh as a bloodied Sam hugged you in relief.
Sirens growing in volume as they grew closer.
The two women came to join when a yell was heard.
A half burnt Amber running towards you with a knife raised. She was stopped short by a bullet through her temple. You all looked to see Tara teary eyed as she lowered her gun slowly.
She limped over to her body ripping the necklace from her.
"You were a shitty girlfriend."

Mindy Martin-Meeks X F!Reader
MasterList
Warnings : Violence, Swearing, Mentions under aged drinking
Summary : You and Mindy just accidentally hopped on the wrong subway car while meeting up with the others...
Mindy held your hand tightly on the subway. You looked around trying to spot anyone that looked suspicious.
"It's a bit odd we're stuck on here with Ethan.." you mumbled. Mindy let out a laugh, "Yeah I know.". Mindy put her hand to her head and sighed.
"What's up?" You asked softly. She put her hand down, "I got us on the wrong fucking subway car. ". You cupped her cheek "It's fine. We're gonna be okay.". Mindy shook her head before looking off into a different direction.
"Hey let's move somewhere else..." She led you by your hand to the back of the subway.
"You sit there I'll stand." She offered. You looked at her, "No, Mindy you have a bad headache.".
"I swear to God if you don't sit down." Mindy said with a soft smile. You grinned, "Fine." You sat down in the seat by the drunk strangers. The smell of cheap booze stung your nose. The lights would flicker for pauses of time. You looked over to see Mindy breathing heavily. You stood up, "Mindy?!" The lights flickered again.
"Sit down. I'll be okay." She whispered. You slowly sat back down, the lights flickered again. She gave a sad smile, you tilted your head at her confused.
The lights flickered.
You looked over to see a hooded figure looming over Mindy's body. You pulled them off of her, "Get away you sick fuck!!" You yelled. The lights flickered, a sharp pain echoed in your leg. The subway car doors opened, the lights flickered again. They were gone, you kneeled down by Mindy in pain.
"Oh my god..." You panicked taking off your jacket. You wrapped it around her wound and applied pressure.
"Are you hurt?" She asked between sobs. You shook your head, "No, I need you to keep your hands on your wound. Okay?". Mindy weakly nodded, you tried to stay calm. You fumbled to get your phone and call 911. Mindy looked down at your leg, "You're bleeding!".
"I'll be fine!" You fussed.
You and Mindy waited in an ambulance. The cops swarmed around the building trying to find a way in. Mindy gently bumped her shoulder into yours.
"Good thinking back there... With your jacket." Mindy grinned.
"I learn from the best." You joke. Mindy looked down, "I'm sorry you had to go through this.". You looked at her, "What?". She awkwardly laughed, "I warned you when we started dating. I didn't think it'd happen again... And you got hurt!". You shook your head, "No. I don't regret a thing. Besides I got over my fear of heights.". Mindy looked at you, "Yeah, I'm sorry you had to.. do that.". You shrugged, "It was cross the ladder or die so...". Sam and Tara walked out covered in blood. Mindy stood up quickly, "Be careful." You warned standing up beside her. Sam smiled at the two of you, "You guys are okay?".
"I've seen better days." You said softly.
"Who was it?" Mindy asked. Sam sighed, "Quinn and Ethan and their deranged father.". Mindy laughed, "I knew it was him! But I gotta stop missing the killer monologues!". You rubbed Mindy's back gently, "I'm just glad it's over.".
"Yeah." Sam smiled down at Tara before walking off. You watched them walk away, "I need a drink..." Mindy mumbled.
When Chad was rolled out of the building Mindy put her arms up in celebration. She smiled, "You made it!", He put a thumbs up towards her. You shook your head, "Come on let's go.". You gently wrapped your arms around her hips.
"I can't wait to start a movie marathon after this." Mindy said as you walked towards the ambulance. You sighed, "I'm thinking of a campy ghost movie.". Mindy nodded, "That's a great idea.". She smiled giving you a kiss before climbing into the ambulance.

The Wolves of Woodsboro - Chapter I
summary:
Tara and Sam have been going to therapy together since the end of Richie’s family. For Tara, things have been difficult, but she’s surprisingly been able to talk about her trauma with their therapist without too much resistance. Sam, on the other hand, has found it very difficult to talk about everything and relive the life she’s been running from for so long, causing her to relapse into the bad habits of her late-teenage years. She holds a dark secret that’s sparked from the murders she’s committed, and it makes the line between her and Billy Loomis blurrier than ever. And when visions of her father and his voice in her head warn of another Ghostface-storm on the horizon, she begins to tie the identifying ribbon of her secret and bloodline into one. She’ll need to work with him to protect her family and uncover the last member of the Kirsch family as the Wolves of Woodsboro.
fandom: Scream
characters: Sam Carpenter, Billy Loomis, Tara Carpenter, Chad Meeks-Martin, Mindy Meeks-Martin, Danny Brackett, Ethan Landry, Richie Kirsch, Quinn Bailey, Wayne Bailey, Kirby Reed, Gale Weathers, Nancy Loomis
SPEED
characters: Sam Carpenter, Tara Carpenter, Mindy Meeks-Martin, & Danny Brackett
Samantha Carpenter had always been hung up on speed.
Always on the run. Running towards something, running away from something. She had always been unpredictable. She was mysterious to many and a misunderstood criminal to most. A stray dog, a wild horse, a feral cat, a savage wolf.
Like a wolf, she was strong and loyal. Like a wolf, she was judged and territorial. Like a wolf, she was reserved and distant. Very distant, and in more ways than just being the daughter of the legendary wolf that had started the endless franchise of killings in a Ghostface mask: Billy Loomis.
She was different. Her father promised her that title. And he given her something more. Something that hadn’t awoken inside of her until she held his murder weapon in her hands and wore his mask over her face.
“Murder’s in your blood.” Wayne Bailey, Richie Kirsch’s father, told had her.
“Your birthright.” He had said.
And he was right.
She was Samantha Loomis.
She was a wolf .
It had been 6 months since the Kirsch family had been sent to their graves, and a lot had happened. Moving on and holding on. It was different for all of the survivors. Sam, Tara, Chad, Mindy, and Danny abandoned their split apartments to come together under one roof in the suburbs. It was a small, one-story house, surrounded mostly by larger, newly built homes, but it was good enough for them. Furthermore, the three younger survivors had continued going to college, and like they had promised each other, the Carpenter sisters had been attending weekly therapy sessions together. The therapist they had been going to was the best they had met so far. She was understanding, low-key, and didn’t project herself as a know-it-all, just-there-to-get-paid counselor. This made it fair to talk to her.
Well… for Tara at least.
For someone who wasn’t used to opening-up to a stranger about her past, trauma, and scars, the younger sister was able to communicate herself fairly well a few sessions in. She was skeptical, but she had made a promise and she intended to keep it. Not to mention, her well-being needed to be secured in order for her to live the rest of her life.
After all, survivors didn’t run from their past, they outran it towards something better.
On the contrary, Sam was the opposite, which was surprising, since she had been the one consistent with trying to receive help before the 2023 Ghostface attacks had happened. Ever since she killed Richie’s father and sister, she hadn’t been the same. She hadn’t felt the same. Her aggression had grown along with her temper. She had become very territorial and instinctive. And she had been fighting in a tailspin with her Loomis-bloodline. It had taken her a while to figure out what these differences were from, but when her guttural feelings betrayed her insides to reveal themselves, she had learned quickly.
She was a wolf. Not symbolically, like anyone would assume, but a shapeshifter. Triggered by emotions, her form would change from a human to a wild animal, and no one knew. The visions of her father occurred more frequently, and she heard his voice often. He was a shifter, too, but he couldn’t tell if he had passed down that gene to her until it happened.
He explained that it was a mutation in her Loomis DNA, an awakening that bloomed when a trauma so severe affects the host to the point where murder feels right, and the killer instincts surge. Wolves were raised to hunt, defend, and kill, and that’s what she was good at.
Together, they were the Wolves of Woodsboro.
But she had kept it a secret from everyone. She was still trying to get a handle on it, hence why she shut down during therapy. She was indifferent, easily angered, and extremely defensive when she would be accused of trying to protect herself from vulnerability. Tara would even jump her from time-to-time, saying how they promised to do this together, but now she seemed to want no part of it. She didn’t understand it, and if she were honest, Sam couldn’t either. She was afraid of hurting Tara. She had hurt her too many times before. And she didn’t trust herself to let her sister and the rest of their household know.
These new, unruly instincts and behaviors were messing with her mind, hormones, and personality. It was like she was going through puberty again. She couldn’t seem to control certain things, and as a result, would run off at night and get into any trouble it brought her to.
That was when the wolf inside of her ran wild. All of the emotions she held back would rush to the surface, and her father’s voice would yell at her the whole way. She would run until her chest hurt so bad, she thought she was going to have a heart attack. She would chase prey until her eyes burned from being so fixated. She would kill again and again, until her muzzle and paws were soaked and matted with blood. And when she tore the meat and broke the bones, she’d eat until she was so full, she’d throw it all up. Just to get the energy out. Just to feel something more than anger, paranoia, and the distressing loss of control.
And then, she’d go to the lake and wash herself off, drink away the metallic taste of blood and vomit, and then go home. By that time, it’d typically be between 2:30 and 3:00 in the morning.
Danny waited for her every time she left. He never pushed her to tell him where she went or what she did, just asked if she was okay. She’d nod and say she was fine, but she knew that he knew better. She was exhausted, and he could see it in her eyes. She was queasy, and he could see it in her complexion. She was lost, and he could feel it in her kiss.
But he never pushed, and she never told. That was the way it was.
At least until a week ago… when it got worse.
There was a new darkness on the horizon. Nothing unpredictable, nonetheless, but just as haunting as the last two times it had occurred.
Ethan Kirsch was still alive and out for revenge against the two that ended his siblings and father. Billy had warned his daughter the moment the surviving murderer began his hunt. Every time she saw her reflection, he was there. Every time she was alone, he was there. As much as she knew he was trying to help her, she didn’t care. She didn’t want or need his help. Not when he was constantly whispering in her ear and grooming her into another version of himself. She was born a mess, so there wasn’t anything she could do to change her DNA. Sure, he had helped her with killing those who endangered her family previously, but he had quite the insulting way doing it.
It was bold and upfront. Frustrating and intoxicating. Making her feed into the side she never wanted to be. She hated being told that deep-down, killing excited her, because she didn’t want to believe that was true. But it was…
She didn’t ask for any of this. However, no one would ever see it that way, other than the four people that she lived with.
Now, they were in danger again. This was where their progress with moving on got caught up in ropes. This was where their “ happy ending ” ended. This was where she relapsed into a hellhound with a relentless drive for speed. To hunt, to chase, to maul. She hadn’t told the rest that Ethan was alive, because her father had told her that he was taking a different approach. He wouldn’t go public with murders or attack those who were connected. That would just end up in another game of strategy. He would simply attack.
He only had two targets. And those were the ones he would strike.
For this, Samantha planned to beat him at his own game. He couldn’t win if she found him first. And that was exactly what she planned to do.
“ Sam ,” Tara let herself into the garage to meet her sister, who was busy putting laundry in the washer.
Her voice snapped the older sibling out of her daze that she always got in whenever she was alone. She glanced over.
“We’re putting dinner up,” she informed, “Are you gonna eat or not?”
Sam shook her head. “No, I’m good.” She shut the lid to the washer and slid the detergent cap back on the bottle. She could feel the tension between them rise instantly as she moved to put it back where it belonged, dreading to turn around and face that same frustrated glare that she had grown used to for weeks.
“This is the third night in a row that you haven’t eaten dinner,” Tara spat as she faced her. She moved all the way inside to have the screen door shut, blocking the exit to make sure she didn’t just walk out on her. But when her sister just gave a small shrug, she pleaded. “Sam, what’s wrong? I mean, I get that you’ve been having a hard time with this whole therapy thing and trying to move on, whatever, but it’s more than that. I know it is.”
The she-wolf stared at her, her jaw tightening as she shifted her weight. Nightfall was when her anxiety, paranoia, duality, and psychotic symptoms triggered, so her appetite eluded her. Of course, she could force herself to eat, but making herself sick wouldn’t do any good when around the others.
“You’re not you anymore.”
This cut her like a knife, making her indifference vanish into a wave of emotion that took her by surprise as it threatened tears to flood her eyes. She wanted to tell her. Tell her everything that had happened since. Tell her why she was different, because she knew waiting on it would only turn out bad, like it did when she revealed the truth about their family. But every time she was tempted like this, a rugged voice hissed into her ear.
‘ “Don’t say a word.” ’
So she was forced to push it aside and excuse herself from the idea. “Not now, Tara,” she replied, refusing to meet the younger’s eyes as she tried to walk around her to exit. But her sibling’s hand clutched the door handle to hold it shut.
“Then, when? ” she demanded. “Huh? When are you going to tell me?” Tara’s eyes became darker than the shadows of the night, harder than the stone wall she was trying to break, and clearer than the indigo sky. “That’s been your answer every single time, one of us has tried to talk to you. You remember the last time you held a secret from me? How that worked out for you?” Her tone deepened into a growl as she found the older’s eyes, “Don’t make that mistake again.”
The more she talked, the worst Samantha felt. Because she knew it was true. Because she knew it was toxic. Because she knew she was repeating everything she had promised not to. As much as the Ghostface killings had taught her, she could never overcome the fear she had of herself. It was so twisted and confusing, relentless and exhausting. Yet, she couldn’t stop. She didn’t know how to. Her voice came out almost hoarse, quiet with the emotion and hatred she had towards this situation. “I’m sorry… I’m fine,” she lied.
This made Tara hot. “Don’t you fucking lie to me,” she growled. “You can pull that crap with everyone else in the house, but you can’t fool me, Sam.” She didn’t bother to hold back anymore as she let her anger raise her tone. “At the beginning of all this, you begged me over and over to go see a therapist and now, all of the sudden, you act like you’re not into it! I said we’d get through all of this shit together, and I meant it! But lately, I think I’ve been on my own… Because you’re never around anymore.” She knew her words were harsh, but nothing was changing. Someone had to confront her at some point. “You said you were never going to leave me again. Did your word mean nothing to you?”
And just like that, her older sister went from feeling guilty to defensive. Her blood boiled at that accusation. She glared at her. “Don’t you dare throw that in my face!” It was like a switch. “That shit isn’t the only thing I’ve been dealing with! Forgive me for wanting to keep you out of my drama that seems to get in your way so much—”
“You haven’t dealt with anything, that’s the problem!” Tara shouted at her. “I-I mean, we go to therapy and— and you just shut down. You don’t even try at all. I get that you have your own issues, okay, I got that, but I didn’t do this just for me… I’m doing it for you too.”
A deep growl stirred in the other’s throat. Her spine pricked, and her muscles contracted with the onset of needing to phase. She saw red, tired of everything and everyone, and it didn’t make it any better when her father’s voice purred again.
‘ “Time to go, Sam. You’ve gotta let it out.” ’
“Just drop it,” she warned and pushed her way past and out into the open air. She heard the screen door slam shut and footsteps follow her down the driveway.
“Are you fucking kidding me?” Her younger sister had one hell of a mouth on her that she had no reins on, especially when it came to her. “So, that’s the way it is, you’re just gonna run off like you always do?!”
“I don’t expect you to understand!” Sam replied, without looking back.
“I don’t have to! I just want to know what’s going on!”
‘ “Hold it in.” ’
“It’s none of your business!” It was so fucking hard. Her voice was already changing.
“Bullshit! I have a right to know as your family! Your sister! ”
“Tara, please!”
“Is it your father? Is he the one doing this to you?!”
Sam’s whole body was tense as she made it to the double-gate that guarded the front yard from the backyard.
‘ “If you don’t want her to know, get the fuck out of there right now.” ’
She turned around to face her sibling, who stopped a few yards away. “I learned to trust you, Tara,” her voice was dangerously low, corrupted with a venomous streak that made the other go silent. “I got off of your back, so get the fuck off mine .”
Tara didn’t say anything, at a loss for words at the aggression of that warning that was easily a threat. She was offended, for sure, but she had never spoken to her that way before.
The evening breeze filled the brief moment of silence, before the wolf-shifter jumped the gate and disappeared into the night, leaving her sister alone in the half-light.
Her jaw shifted in disbelief as she stood there. “Wow,” she sarcastically nodded. If Sam thought keeping her in the dark, after everything they had been through together, was fair, she was wrong. Very wrong. She wasn’t asking for much, just for an answer. It didn’t have to be the ins-and-outs, it didn’t have to be deep, just something other than lies and deflections. Something that she could piece together. But she got nothing. Her sister was on thin ice, and her patience was getting there with this too.
She scoffed, rolling her eyes as she stepped back to retreat to the back door, “Okay.”
Her temper was still sharp when she ducked into the warm lighting of the living room, her hard gaze scanning the area for a single being.
“Everything okay?” From the couch, Mindy blinked at her. She had overheard the indistinct argument from inside the house—over the television—and she could tell by the look of the youngest’s face that it hadn’t ended well. “You two sounded like you were going to kill each other out there.”
“Where’s Danny?” the teen demanded, ignoring any questions and only focused on answers she was still looking for. She would find something , even if she had to wait all night until Sam returned to get it. Not that she expected her boyfriend to know, because she, as her blood, couldn’t even be trusted enough.
Mindy, while normally very inquisitive, had sensed something in her that told her to refrain from prying. So, she pointed to the room beside the fireplace that the two oldest household members shared, “In there.”
Tara slammed the back door shut and stormed in the direction she was pointed in, hearing the female twin call out behind her.
“Danny! Tara’s comin’ in hot!”
She entered the bedroom, immediately finding the male’s gaze as he looked over from the right side of the bed. As angry as she was, she knew it wasn’t his fault, so she would have to bite her tongue to avoid putting blame on those who didn’t deserve it. But Mindy couldn’t have said it better… She was hot . “Can I talk to you?” She couldn’t promise she wouldn’t lose it.
While this was a question, it came out like a demand, but Danny knew it was only a matter of time before she came to him directly, due to his relationship with her sister. He knew exactly what this was about. So, he wasn’t surprised or phased, just nodded, “Sure.” He set the towel he was folding down, muted the small TV mounted on the wall, and moved away from the bedside to listen to what she had to say.
Tara gently kicked the door closed to give some privacy, before stepping up to close the distance between them. “Does Sam talk to you at all? About… anything that’s been going on with her, since what happened 6 months ago?” She struggled to hold back her frustration, throwing her arm out and letting it fall against her thigh as she emphasized ‘ anything ’.
The other was as composed as ever as he shook his head. “Not lately. She talked to me once, but she didn’t say much, and I didn’t push her.” He could see her jaw shift behind tight lips, which led him to try to explain further, “Our relationship is different than the one she has with you—”
“ You’re a pushover ,” the younger cut him off aggressively, earning surprised silence that made her continue. “Sam is someone that needs to be pushed to open-up, because she can’t willingly do it herself. I’m younger than her, so she’s been hard-wired to keep shit from me, but, as an equal, you have the right to know what’s going on with her; especially if this relationship between you two is going to last.” She wasn’t even thinking about what she was saying before she said it, the words rolling off her tongue like second-nature. “She’s damaging every single relationship she has with the people in this house, the ones who care about her the most, and she’s having help doing it.” At this point, she had stopped blinking, staring at him like she had only stared at one other person: her sister. It was anger that masked desperation, because what she wanted was something that couldn’t be achieved by her hand.
Brackett stayed silent for a long time. As little respect as she had just shown for him, not only as a superior, but as a member of the household, he didn’t shout at her or show his offense. He simply stayed calm and listened to her… Because that’s what he had learned to do from knowing Samantha. Tara thought he didn’t know enough about her sister, but he knew more than she thought he knew. From the day they met, he had studied her. Her likes, her dislikes, her mannerisms, her habits… There were countless nights that he had listened to her talk or vent. There were other nights he helped her take her mind off of her pain, fears, and inescapable toxicity. He had felt every scar that stained her body for himself, because she allowed him to. She didn’t sleep with him for no reason, other than to be reckless with her sexual availability.
Yes, she was reserved, and too much for her own good, at that.
Yes, he had the ability to break her down, if he chose to do so.
Yes, he technically was helping her sabotage herself, because she’s terrified of the dark potential inside of her that she can’t decide is an advantage or not.
But he trusted her.
He trusted her, because he knew where she had been and how she had handled it. He trusted her to trust him when she was ready, because he knew trust needed to be earned. He trusted her to make the decisions she believed was right for herself and the family she had vowed to protect.
And for these reasons, he respected her privacy. He knew there was something bothering her. He knew it was driving her crazy and that’s why she wouldn’t eat, couldn’t sleep, and stayed out late at night. And so, that’s what he needed to tell Tara.
“I get what you’re saying,” he finally began, his gaze having fallen to the carpet while processing everything she had thrown at him. He raised his eyes again to meet her, “But, Tara, you have to understand that, mentally, your sister doesn’t know what the right decision is to make. She never has. Her father is a murderer that is so well-known, her connection to him has forced her to live in a world of a thousand enemies. When she runs from it, it debilitates her. When she faces it, it haunts her. It doesn’t matter how much myself, or you, or anyone else tries to get it through her head. It is up to her on what she wants to share and when she wants to share it.”
“Okay, I understand that, but why can’t she trust us?! I figure after everything we’ve been through, she could. Like, why… Why is it so hard for her to just be honest?” Carpenter’s anger had run its course for the night. She’d blame it on her homework and the late nights, but the truth was she just wanted her only sister to confide in her so badly. It hurt her to not feel like she was capable of helping her in a critical period. She had willingly let Sam be a part of her life—she wanted her to be—she literally told her that…
Why couldn’t she be a part of hers?
And Danny had an answer to that. “Because she’s scared to be honest with herself,” he told her. “She still hasn’t accepted herself. She’s gotten close, but she can’t give in to what she might become. Not yet. And if she can’t be honest with herself, then how is she supposed to be honest with anyone else?”
Tara just blinked at him, her expression almost blank as she couldn’t seem to evoke enough understanding to outrule what she believed was more imperative to her sibling’s well-being. “She needs the ability to see herself as herself and not Billy Loomis. And right now, she doesn’t have that. But we sure-as-hell do. She’s not a psycho, she’s my sister. She’s not a criminal, she’s your girlfriend. She’s not a murderer, she’s our family. ” Her brow hardened, and her tone deepened a little as her words became imperative and emphatic. “If it’s help she needs, we’ve got it.”
He agreed with her, knowing good and well they had just made it to the same page. However, he also knew that with how fast Samantha seemed to be progressing through this phase she was experiencing, chances were that ‘ help ’ went into the wrong hands.
There was only one other person that was around her as much as they were, if not more.
Only one other person could call themselves her family .
Only one other person she feared more than herself…
Her biological father.
“I think someone else beat us to it.”

Could I request oneshot where reader is stuck on the ladder instead of Anika and reader is mindy and Chad's cousin and reader is 13-15 years old and came to visit them during the ghostface stuff
motion sickness
pairing - platonic!Mindy Meeks-Martin x Meeks!Reader, platonic Chad Meeks-Martin x Meeks!Reader
summary - Chad and Mindy's younger cousin has an unforgettable halloween weekend in new york.
cw - violence, some angst, my shitty writing??
word count - 1k
a/n - okay, let me explain, scream two? didn't happen. the reader is Randy's daughter born years after the events of the second movie. Also again, I don't know if i love or hate this - let me know your thoughts!
Prior to tonight, you had been excited to spend the Halloween weekend in New York with your older cousins Chad and Mindy. You had spent the previous months begging your dad to be able to spend it with them since they had moved to the city, and Randy, being a pushover for his little girl, let you. Now, however, you wanted to be at home, watching some horror movie with your dad, laughing as he yelled at the oblivious characters in the film - it felt like now, you were living in your own, personal horror movie.
You knew about what had happened in Westerboro all those years before, the initial murders, Stu Macher and Billy Loomis' killing spree rocked the entire town, inspiring an entire film series, which your dad hated, he claimed that there were too many of them and he lost their effect - Randy also hated that he was a character in them, he never let you watch them, especially the one that depicted the attempt on his life. You never asked your dad about what had happened, you knew that he was perfectly happy with his new life, despite being a divorced single father, he wouldn't have had it any other way.
Which is why he made Chad and Mindy swear to take the best possible care of you - their oath now broken as you stood in your cousin's friends apartment, their friend, Quinn's dead body thrown into you. Before anyone could react, the masked figure who had thrown the girls body into you moved towards you, deflecting Mindy off with a slash to her arm, her friend Anika going to her side as she fell to the floor. Chad, convinced that Mindy would be able to protect you, grabbed his girlfriend, Tara's hand and ran out of the apartment. You held your hands out in front of you in a feeble attempt to defend yourself from the masked killer, but your attempts did nothing to stop them, and you screamed as they plunged their knife into your stomach, twisting the knife and dragging it up your torso. Sam, acting quickly, smashed a vase over the figures head, causing them to grunt and fall to the floor, and with it taking the knife out from your stomach. Mindy gently grabbed you, helping you into Quinn's room, where the 3 girls barricaded both the bathroom and the entrance to the room.
"Mindy, I don't feel good," You called out to your older cousin, who's heart dropped as she took in the extent of your injuries. "It hurts." You sobbed. Mindy sat on the bed beside you, trying to distract you as the ghostface banged on the door to try and get in - This wasn't fair, you were just a kid, and here you were, fighting for your life.
"I know, you're gonna be okay, I promise," She assured you, her tone soft yet firm. "We'll get out of here and we can call your dad to come and pick you up, yeah?" You tearfully nodded, you just wanted your dad now. You and Mindy looked up as Sam stood at the window, yelling across the building with her boyfriend Danny, who put a ladder across the two buildings. "Y/N needs to go first." Mindy demanded, both Sam and Anika nodding in agreement.
"No, I-I'll just slow everyone down, you go first," You argued, your eyes filling with more tears as you saw the look on Mindy's face. "Please, I'll be fine." You tried to reason with her, but you knew that no one had much time to debate, the set of drawers pushed against the door was giving way, and the killer was going to get through. Mindy hugged you tightly before making her way across, Sam and Anika already having made their way across to Sam's boyfriend's building.
"When we're all over, you get your ass over those ladders as fast as you can, okay? No fucking around," She told you. You nodded in response and watched as she made her way across the ladder and to the other building, where Sam and Anika awaited her. Ignoring the searing pain coming from your stomach, you got out of Quinn's room and onto the ladder. The pain, however started to become too much for you, you also, made the critical mistake of looking down, your heart dropping at the height you found yourself out.
"I can't do it," You sobbed, shaking your head. Looking behind you, Mindy noticed that ghostface had gotten through their makeshift barricade, and now stood at the windowsill.
"No, Y/N come on! You can, come on!" She yelled, trying to encourage you to move the last couple crawl steps to the end. You were so close. "Please, Y/N!" Apparently, Mindy's all but gentle encouragement pushed you on, and you started to make the last, but albeit painful movements towards the end. The figure behind you, though, had other ideas, stabbing their knife, which still had your blood on it into the windowsill, placing both of their hands onto the edge of the ladder. Noticing that everyone had gone silent, you started to panic.
"What? Wh-what's wrong?"
"Y/N move! Come on!" Everyone started yelling at you, just as the figure started to shake the ladder, trying to throw you off of it. No. You weren't going to die. You wanted to see your dad again. Focusing on your movement, and your movement only, you got to the end of the ladder.
Just as you were thrown from the ladder.
Luckily for you, Sam's boyfriend, Danny, acted fast, and grabbed your hand. You screamed, your shoulder dislocating when he grabbed you. The girl's helped to pull you up into his apartment, and you fell into Mindy, who held you as you cried, she didn't care that you were bleeding onto her clothes, you were safe, but she knew your dad would be mad at her. But then again, she had helped to save your life.
If this gave her anything other than more trauma and nightmares, it was bragging rights over Chad when it came to who your favourite cousin was.

i love crazy girls;
*SCREAM VI SPOILERS*
summary: you kill detective bailey while in your fathers ghostface costume to save the group.
warnings: blood, murder, mentions of murder, cursing, guns, violence, all that jazz
pairing: chad meeks-martin x loomis!reader
*lowercase intended*
there sam stood, her arms slightly raised in attempt to protect the two behind her; chad and tara.
“well,” tara began, “if you’re going to kill us then come on motherfucker!”
detective bailey displayed a slight smirk on his face as he began to walk up to the three, knife in hand. before he could make it close enough to attack, his phone rang.
“you gonna get that?” sam smirked, knowing who it was.
detective bailey hesitated, grabbing his phone after the third ring. “who’s this?”
“take a guess.” the voice responded.
the realization sets in as bailey laughs in response, “you really aren’t that bright, are you y/n? you do realize i can kill your precious friends before you could say another word.”
“you can sure as hell try, but when the police get here,” you paused, “it’s over. especially for you.”
“i’m a fucking police officer,” bailey spoke, his voice growing louder and angrier. “how do you think this is gonna go, y/n? who do you think they’re gonna believe, huh?”
there was a moment of silence before the voice responded.
“probably the one who’s still alive.”
this time, the voice was louder and the call was no longer connected. the voice was coming from behind detective bailey, just as he turns around the figure launches at him, stabbing him over and over again.
as the knife plunges in and out of his skin, you can hear your fathers voice in the back of your head, “keep going, show no mercy.” he said.
you ignored the voices, raising the knife in the air one last time, “23.”
the knife is planted right in bailey’s eye before being taken right out. the figure wipes the knife off with their glove before throwing it to the ground, taking off the mask to reveal you.
you were out of breath, the adrenaline rushing throughout your body. you made your way over to kirby who had fallen unconscious due to being shot, you grab her gun before walking back over to detective bailey.
you raise the gun, clicking the safety off before pulling the trigger, ending detective bailey’s life for good.
as you drop the gun, you pick up the mask you had been previously wearing before walking towards your friends, arms open and available for a hug.
chad is the first one to initiate the hug, tara and sam doing the same.
“i’m so glad you’re okay,” chad began, “i thought—”
“i know,” you replied, cutting him off as you already knew what he was about to say.
“now, let’s get the hell out of here.” sam said, releasing you from the hug as chad and tara do the same.
“yeah.” you said, taking off the robe, holding the mask in between your arm and chest before placing it back into your hand.
chad rests his arm around your shoulder as the three of you exit the shrine. as you pass by a mirror you see your father’s reflection, a proud expression plastered on his face as you smile before looking towards the ground.
“sorry you had to see all of that,” you told chad, focusing on the ground below you as the two of you walked outside.
“why are you sorry?”
“i don’t know,” you began, “i guess i just think that that made me look really fucking crazy.”
“well, lucky for you,” chad spoke as you glance up at him in confusion, “i love crazy girls.”

i think i project a lot into billy because of the daddy issues and the anger.
BUT ANYWAYS,,,
i feel like billy started feeling emotions so much after his mother left.
like,,, he still feels things, and he laughs, and he has a good time, and he feels sad…. but all those feelings have been weakened since his mother left.
but whenever he does feel strongly, it’s like a explosion. he gets really mad, he gets really sad, and if he likes something, he gets kind of obsessed.
i think that’s some kind of disorder but i’m not here to give him a diagnosis.
also i feel like he dissociates a lot
but that’s already from a young age
i think his childhood was happy, but now when he thinks about it he remembers a lot of fights between his parents and a sense of emptiness that he’s never really gotten rid of
it’s weird, and he hates it.
his mother is such an important person for him, and her leaving just like that and not taking him with her hurt him way more than he’s ready to admit
he doesn’t like his dad (canon)
like, he really really dislikes the dude. probably hates him.
being angry is his fuel. it’s a constant in his life
i feel like he would relate to jd from heathers. like, a worryingly lot.
he dressed up as jd for halloween, too
it just fits him a lot
he’s a weird kind of popular boy. he’s very selective with his friends, he’s mysterious, doesn’t really like big parties and he can be really rude. but he’s also really charming and he has pretty privilege, so he’s used to getting away with everything
looks like the kind who wouldn’t take notes or pay attention during class but then aces his tests and all
he observes a lot, and in silence. he knows everyone’s names, even if he plays dumb, and probably has a lot of data about everyone around him stored in his brain. very analytic, our billy boy
he’s not a big fan of physical touch. he touches who he wants (his friends, mainly) when he wants (they are all big on physical touch and rarely ever don’t want him to touch them) and only when he wants.
billy flirts for fun, and mostly because he’s bored. he learned by observing, if not he would have no idea how to do that.
he’s bisexual.
he truly did love sidney in the beginning. his misogyny ruined everything (canon)
he went to a therapist a few times when he was a kid, because nancy (mrs loomis) was worried about him being slightly different and more quiet than other kids. the therapist didn’t pay him much attention and said he was fine.
he canonical has psychosis. the psychotic breakdown came with his mother leaving and him finding out his father had cheated with his grilfriend’s mother.
billy learned to manipulate people from his father.
spoiler, and going back to a previous headcanon, his childhood wasn’t really happy. it takes him a while to accept that, and realize he’s been under his father’s manipulation for a long time.
billy has this black notebook he carries everywhere he goes. he uses it for everything — inside, he has the plans for the murder spree, the people he hates and why, important things he has seen and will use to get what he wants, his anger spurts… it’s all there.
he plans on burning the pages with the murder spree once it’s finished, to leave to clues.
i’ve seen it so much that i can’t remember if it’s canon or if we just made it up, but billy’s father has this cabin they used to go to during the summer and winter holidays. that cabin is his happy place, he loves it and talks about it a lot.
he likes all horror movies, but the fancy ones are his favorites. he thinks he’s better than anyone else, for that, and that’s why randy annoys him so much — randy has a really good taste with movies, so they collide.
probably knows how to cook, even if it’s just a few dishes. it’s not like his father is around too much, so he’s managed to figure it all out.
he’s probably alone in his house a lot, too. even if he enjoys being alone anywhere else, he hates being alone there.
bitter flavors are his favorite.
he genuinely enjoys drinking beer. i hate him for that.
he celebrates the fuck out of halloween. it’s always been bigger than christmas, anyways.
his color palette is very simple: white, blue and black. maybe even brown if you push him. and that’s it, the boy’s simple and stylish.
hates being called william.
plays in the football team to release anger. he expects to get a shitty scholarship that will pay some of his college studies and never come back to woodsboro. billy doesn’t care about what he’ll study. ideally, it would be film like randy did in scream 2.
also he’s probably very good at most of the subjects except for one of those a lot of people hate — biology or physics. something like that.
i want him to be good at english and literature and to read a lot.
and i actually headcanon him as a voracious reader, especially horror novels.
his old time favorite is dracula, but he loves stephen king’s writer.
will defend carrie with his life.
he’s supposed to have a car? or does he share it with his dad? whatever. he walks to school most of the times, he doesn’t like driving. he gets a lot of road rage and he doesn’t want to disconnect — that’s the word he uses for his dissociative episodes — whenever he’s on the wheel.
if you’re his friend and you don’t like horror movies, no you’re not.
he’d be so good with writing essays, no, i will not elaborate.
probably can’t see shit from very afar. he used to have very good sight but not anymore — that means, he’s slightly myopic. it’s not too bad, though, so he’s refused to get glasses.
he’s very obsessive with his special interests (aren’t we all?)
really likes knifes, but are we surprised? his father probably gifted him one after a few hunting trips together, and the boy’s a goner now.
most parents like him, again, because of his charisma. even with the bad boy vibes going on, he can put on the most perfect sweet boy act and that makes everyone fall for him. he just needs to feel motivated for it to work
he’s a good actor, therefore. i think he’s proven that already, though, even if he acts hella sus all the time he fools people into trusting him
LOVES the feeling of power. billy needs to be a few steps before you to feel in control and be able to relax about anyone. knowledge is power, and he will do whatever to have that power.
mastermind™
has no favorite color — he couldn’t care less about choosing a favorite color.

I'm Sorry(pt.12)
Series: Fondness | Scream
Paring: (Chad Meeks-Martin x OFC Hicks! Ethan Landry x OFC Hicks!)
Word Count: 1653
Warnings: death, gun, knife, language
Last
"Why did you choose this?"
"I told you this or I would die." He lowers his knife.
"You aren't who I fell for. It was all a lie."
"IT WASN'T A LIE! I FELL IN LOVE WITH YOU!" He yells as Quinn shoves Tara and Sam so they bump into Lexi bringing her and Ethan back to what's going on around them.
"Have I been a perfect Dad? No. Have I maybe overindulged Richie's love for these little movies? Yeah, maybe. For me, they're just a little dark. But… Richie really loved them. He loved them! He even made a few of his own. Did you know? Did you know?" Bailey says and everyone looks at him pops up as the movie played. "There's a very special bond between a father and his first son."
Lexi looks back at Ethan to see him upset, "Don't do this, please." She whispers to him as she tears up as Bailey explains he helped build this collection for Riche and they have to die so they can go kill Mindy and Gale too.
"Because everyone had to die, Sam! Everyone who had anything to do with the death of my son suffers and dies." Bailey screams so Quinn does too as Ethan stays quiet looking at Lexi.
"You're fucked up. Your brother kills mine so you kill anyone who had something to do with it? You do g see me doing that so you?" Lexi laughs at Ethan as Sam pissed off Bailey and Quinn talking shit about Richie.
"Shut the fuck up!" Quinn yells so Tara hits her with the brick then Sam hits Bailey with one.
"Sam! Lexi, come on." Tara runs with Sam following. "Lexi!" She starts to climb the ladder but Lexi doesn't move.
"Just do it." Lexi stares at Ethan's knife, "Be the killer you are. You had no problem shaking Anika off the ladder and she's always been so nice to you."
"I can't. I don't want to." He lowers his knife again.
"I'll do it you pussy!" Quinn stabs Lexi in the back twice then three times in the side making her scream out in pain.
"No!" Ethan holds Lexi up as she falls forward while his sister runs to get Sam and Tara. "Fuck, Lexi." He holds her in his arms as they go to the ground.
"LEXI!" Tara see her starting to cry thinking she lost another friend.
Lexi stares at the ceiling coughing up a bit of blood, "No, you're gonna be fine. Don't die on me." Ethan tells her.
She starts to cry, "My Mom and Wes."
"No, don't you fucking join them." He cries to her as his dad shoots at Tara.
The sisters talk about letting each other so while Bailey walks to go join Quinn but stops seeing Ethan going off the script. He points his gun at Lexi getting ready to pull the trigger so Ethan gets up tackling his father.
"What are you doing!" He yells at him.
"Fuck you, fuck all of this. You made me kill Mom! I'm not letting her die." Ethan stands up with his father while Tara rushes over to Lexi who was breathing heavily.
"You're gonna be okay."
"Am I?" Lexi stares at her.
"Yes."
"You want to throw all this away for a stupid girl?" Bailey asks his son.
"She's not a stupid girl! You would know if you fucking listen to me when I talk to you! All of this for Richie? Fuck, Richie! It's always him or Quinn. Firstborn son… Firstborn Daughter. WHAT ABOUT ME!" Ethan points his knife at his father.
"Don't be stupid."
"Fuck you!" Ethan runs at him so he shoots his son so he falls back distracting Quinn to look and was shocked their dad killed Ethan.
"Looks like you're down another brother." Sam tells her.
"He was always the weak pathetic one." Quinn chuckles, "He fell in love."
"At least he had somewhat of humanity. He died for someone he loved while Richie was killed by someone who loved him." Sam smiles pointing the gun at Quinn, "It felt good." She says making Quinn scream so she shouts her in the head while Bailey made it behind her.
He was in shock before they both chard at each other going over the balcony. Tara rushes over to check in on her sister while Lexi tries to get up but just lays there.
"Lexi?" She hears Sam.
"I'm still here. Just kill the bastard. I'll play dead in the meantime. It's hard to move." Lexi turns her head to see Tara help Sam up.
The sisters play the game with Bailey while Lexi did as she said and tried to stay awake. When she starts to hear Bailey get attacked Lexi forces herself to get up pushing through the pain. She puts pressure on her wound as she hobbles towards the stage. Getting to it she falls down to rest on the stairs as she hears Sam kill Bailey with Tara saying nice.
"You okay?" Sam asks Tara.
"No."
"I'm nothing doing so well remember." Lexi calls out so they join her. "Any of you got a phone on you?" Lexi looks at them.
"Lost it in the fight." Sam sighs.
"Great, me too while running." Lexi says as the sisters start talking about personal stuff making her wish they would wrap it up.
"Lexi…" Ethan walks over not doing so well falling to the floor near them so he sits up leaning back onto the stage. "You're okay." He coughs up blood having trouble breathing because of where his dad shot him in the chest.
Lexi carefully drags herself over to him, "Thanks to you. He would have made sure I was going to die." She says as he has more trouble breathing.
"I-I'm sorry. I betrayed you." Ethan gets out, "Thank you.. for-," He sighs before his head falls limped and was no longer breathing.
Lexi lets a single tear roll down her cheek as she stares at him while Kirby joins the girls, "I'm sorry too." She says as help arrives because of Danny.
Help gets Kirby and Lexi on a gurney to head off the hospital and as they stop at an ambulance they say they have another one Lexi looks over so Tara looks at her. Lexi forces herself off and goes over to him making the sisters tell her to be careful.
"You're alive she hugs him groaning in pain so he puts up five fingers making her smile as Tara and Sam come over helping her abs checking on Chad.
"Fab Fucking Five." Tara laughs while Lexi moves Chad's oxygen mask to kiss him quickly before putting it back in him.
"Ma'am, we need to get you to the hospital." A paramedic walks over to her.
"He's right, Lexi." Sam tells her as Mindy runs over.
"I know who the killer is! It's Ethan and Bailey."
"And Quinn." Lexi adds.
"And Quinn? Fuck! Did I miss the monologue again?"
Mindy gets in the ambulance with Chad while Tara goes with Lexi then Sam joins them.
At the hospital, after a surgery and stitches Lexi lays in her hospital bed flipping through tv channels till Tara comes into the room, "Hey, they found our phones so I brought you and Chad your phones. You two can talk from different rooms." She gives Lexi her phone.
"Thank you."
"Sorry about Ethan." Tara sits on the bed.
"Don't be… He was one of the killers. He killed Anika in a horrible way. He still stabbed her and about gutted her." Lexi mutes the tv.
"You still had feelings for him and you're alive because he fell in love with you. He could have killed you, could have let Quinn kill you, or his dad."
"I'm sorry for him being born into a fucked up family." Lexi sighs.
"He was messed up but at least we know he wasn't 100%." Tara leaves the room.
Lexi unlocks her phone looking at the old things of Ethan wanting to delete them but she couldn't bring herself to do so.
Chad: Hey
Lexi: How are you doing over there?
Chad: In pain but the meds are helping. You?
Lexi: Same
Chad: Tara told me Ethan saved you from Bailey finishing you off.
Lexi: Yeah, then his father shot him. Kinda weird seeing how they did all that just because Sam killed one son then he kills his second son.
Chad: A fucked up family.
Lexi was going to text back but called her nurse asking if she could walk around some. The nurse was fine since she was going to have too soon just long as she has her walker. Lexi makes her way over to Chad's room to see he was alone at the moment.
"Shouldn't you be resting?" He looks over at her.
"Maybe but I want to see you." She walks over so her moves over for her to sit on his bed.
"I'm very thankful you do seem to be unkillable." Lexi lays next to him since the beds were slightly big and he made room for her.
"Me too because it would really suck if I died after telling you how I felt." He takes her hand into his.
"It really would. Thank you for not dying on me.'
"You're welcome. Thank you too." He moves groaning to kiss her.
"You want to say what you said in the theater about Jill and Kirby but better now?"
"I love you." Chad smiles so Lexi kisses him again with more love.
"I love you too." She says as Mindy walks in.
"Fucking finally! You can stop with your whining!"
"What?" Tara pops her head in surprised to see Lexi out of bed.
"They told each other they love each other." Mindy says so Sam pops her head in too.
"So you two are together now right?" She asks.
Chad and Lexi look at each other, "Yes." Lexi smiles kissing him again.
"Fab Fucking Five made it again!" Chad says so everyone says Fab Five.

☆ Still love you (+18)
Chad meeks martin x reader.
Summary : You're chad's first love, the one he had before liv, you also survived the woodsboro massacre but since that event you've been doing everything you can to escape reality even if it means destroying yourself and chad can't stand it.
Warnings : Sex, mention of death, blood, language.
everything was better before.
you have always lived in woodsboro, within a warm and loving family. you went to school all year with the same group of friends. tara carpenter, wes hicks, amber freeman, mindy and her brother chad meeks martin.
you have always been closer to chad, wes and amber, indeed wes has always been your confidant, the one to whom you talked about your problems and to whom you confided your secrets. amber your sidekick, the one with whom you did all your first times like your first cigarette, your first hangover and many other things you weren't proud of.
and chad, he was your best friend then your first boyfriend, your first love, the one to whom you gave your virginity and who gave you his.
everything was perfect, until the day your mother gale weathers received a job offer in new york.
you had to say goodbye to your friends, to your love to go and live elsewhere.
at first, your father followed you, but he couldn't handle life in a big city, so he left your mother to go back to live in woodsboro. why didn't you follow him ? well because of chad. when you moved to new york, you tried to make things work, you called each other, he came on certain weekends and you went to his house when you could, but the distance got the better of your relationship. little by little you lost this link, you no longer had anything in common so breaking up was the best decision. then some time later he posted on social media with his new girlfriend liv. so you preferred to stay with your mother and start a new life. apart from your friends and your father, you didn't care about anything in woodsboro.
until the day when wes called you to tell you that tara had been assaulted by someone wearing the ghostface mask. you didn't hesitate a minute and you ran to your childhood town.
the reunion with chad was embarrassing. just like meeting his girlfriend. but that wasn't what hurt you the most, no. what destroyed you was the brutal death of your father, that of your best friend wes and for the grand finale you discovered that the person you trusted the most was responsible for these deaths. amber, your best friend murdered your father and she was responsible for wes' death. she looked you straight in the eye, she told you how she killed your father, then she stabbed you multiple times, watching you bleed out on her kitchen floor.
she didn't do it alone, of course, richie, samantha carpenter's boyfriend was her accomplice and obviously her secret boyfriend. you managed to survive thanks to your mother, your godmother sidney, samantha and tara who killed richie and amber.
———☆ ★ ❀ ✿ ♡ ☆ ★ ❀ ✿ ———
this was all a year ago. a lot of things have happened since. you went back to new york with your mother to try to mourn your father. you had graduated and had been accepted to blackmore university just like tara, mindy and chad.
samantha had also moved to town, she lived in an apartment not far from campus with her sister and a girl named quinn. mindy lived on campus with his girlfriend anika and chad also lived on campus with his roommate ethan.
between your mother and you things have changed since despite what she had promised, she had written a fucking book about what happened while writing shit about your friends.
that's why you decided to take an apartment not far from sam and tara.
but despite your new life and the fact that you and chad became closer and closer, you felt empty. every night you dreamed of your father's death. and every night you woke up screaming and crying.
for months you felt like shit. but during a party you found a way to sleep well. thanks to drugs.
your dealer’s name was jordan, he was a guy who was in your history class. he gave you some smoking plants and you had the best night in months, so you went back and bought some over and over again so much that now when you feel a nightmare coming you wake up and take a few puffs to sleep well.
———☆ ★ ❀ ✿ ♡ ☆ ★ ❀ ✿ ———
this party was really bad, but the alcohol was flowing and your drinking partner. tara. was full of energy and she wasn't about to let you go. not now.
"i need another drink." informed you the brunette before leaving in the direction of the kitchen to reload.
you scanned the crowd for a certain boy. but you were very quickly disappointed when you found him leaning against a wall, a pretty redhead under his arm making puppy eyes at him. you took a last sip of your glass and headed for the dance floor.
you were dancing alone when jordan approached you, your mood lit up seeing him.
"jordyyyyyy." you exclaimed jumping at him.
he laughed and pushed you lightly. "oh oh i know someone who is drunk."
you rolled your eyes. "absolutely not."
he approached your ear and whispered to you. "i have brand new merchandise."
you bit your lip and nodded, whispering back. "you know i'm always a taker."
from the outside, it looks like you're talking about something hot. like two students who proposed a sex session.
at least that's how chad felt and his hand tightened around his can even more, he wasn't paying any attention to what the redhead was saying to him. all that was on his mind was how close this guy was to you and how you bit your lip as he whispered something in your ear. he felt his blood boil as you took this guy's hand, guiding him upstairs.
"chad are you listening to me."
without even looking at the girl he intended to fuck in the bathroom, he answered her. "no." then he went in the same direction as you.
once upstairs, he tried to open all the doors, but they were all locked and moans were heard in each one. he was trying to recognize your voice but he couldn't.
the fact that you could be one of this moaning girls made him want to vomit. not imagine you moaning, no, it was imagining a guy other than him making you moan that made him sick.
suddenly he froze when he heard your laughter in the bathroom. he put his ear to the door to listen.
"i promise you y/n, this guy was hot, but he lasted like three seconds."
your laugh made chad smile, he hadn't heard you laugh in a long time.
"i know what it is, don't worry."
jordan laughed in turn. "go ahead and explain. i have just entrusted you with my worst hookup, it's up to you now."
he knew he shouldn't be listening, but curiosity pushed him to press his ear even closer to the door.
"okay. It was like two years ago. my mom was at a social party. i was bored to death and one of the waiters was flirting with me so i ended up letting him fuck me in the storeroom except. he came in like two thrusts and moaned oh shit, yes i’m your little slut."
your dealer burst out laughing throwing his head back. "oh fuck. will we ever find a handsome and talented guy in bed."
you took a puff of your magic cigarette before turning to jordan. "i had found him. chad, my first love."
"oh oh chad like your buddy chad." you nodded. "yeah, he was my first boyfriend and obviously my first time. i never loved anyone else after him. and believe me, i slept with a lot of guys after our breakup however, i never had so many orgasms with them, whereas when chad and i did it, he didn't give me a minute of rest ."
jordan clapped a hand against his chest. "y/n stop otherwise i'll come down and fuck him myself."
you rolled your eyes. "he's probably already busy with the pretty redhead he had under his arm earlier."
jordan shook his head. "listen even if he's good in bed, he's dumb. if i had an ex as hot as you, i'd do anything to get her back."
chad didn't know what to do. he felt the blush rise to his cheeks, not only had you never loved after him but you confessed that he was the best sex of your life.
he widened his eyes when he heard you say. "i want to fuck now."
jordan cleared his throat. "oh uh, that's really cool, but you know i like guys then." you burst out laughing and nudged his shoulder. "i'm not talking about you jordan. i just want to fuck that's all."
he laughed in turn. "i'm sure you can find a guy or a vibrator. anyway. i'll go." you got up from the bathtub where you were. "wait, how much do i owe you for this ?" he shook his head. "nothing at all, a little magic cigarette from time to time is good."
chad frowned. you were on drugs.
he didn't have time to hide, jordan opened the door and came face to face with him. the dealer turns to you. "oh chad." you pulled out the joint you were smoking and groaned when you saw him. "shit."
he pushed aside to let jordan pass and he entered the bathroom and locked the door behind him, sticking his back to it. he crossed his arms over his chest and looked at you. "if you're looking for a free bathroom for your antics with the pretty redhead, there's one downstairs i think." you put on a fake smile and looked at your reflection in the mirror to fix the mascara that had run due to the heat.
"since when do you do this ?" he asked you.
you didn't even try to deny or avoid the question, you kept removing the mascara using a cotton ball you had found and water. "since i wake up every night screaming after dreaming of my father's death." you dropped it so naturally that he was seized with shivers. he straightened up and approached you. "what ?"
you caught his eye in the mirror and shrugged. "when I'm not dreaming of my father's death, i'm dreaming of wes' death or what amber did to me, so. what you saw me smoked helps me sleep without waking me up screaming and crying."
he turned you to him and put his hands on your hips. "why didn't you tell me, i could have helped."
"and how huh ? by coming to tuck me in. by reading me a story."
he paused, considering what to say. then he took your face in his hands and ran his thumb over your lips. "like that." he leaned down and put his lips against yours. instinctively you put your arms around his neck and kissed him back. he gently passed his tongue against your lips to ask permission to enter. you gave it to him as you opened your mouth and your tongues danced until you had to push each other to breathe.
"it works quite well."
he rested his forehead against yours and stroked your cheek with his thumb. "so stop taking that shit."
you closed your eyes and exhaled. "chad, i have no other solutions."
he nodded. "you have other solutions. i just showed you one."
you growled and pushed you away from him to turn towards the mirror. "and what am I supposed to do ? call you every time in the middle of the night so that you come and kiss me and then leave. it will be useless because in any case i find myself alone in this apartment ."
he leaned his chest against your back and pushed your hair over one shoulder to gain access to your neck. he gave it a few kisses before putting his chin up and looking at you in the mirror.
"you don't have to be alone. i can stay with you."
he put his hands around your waist and you put your hand on his. feeling him against you reassured you.
"that's when you're going to tell me that's what friends do. isn't it."
he rested his mouth on your neck but instead of kissing it he sucked it lightly, which forced you to bite your lip to keep you from moaning. after all these years he still knew where your sensitive spot is.
he lifted his mouth slightly. "i think we know you like me that we are more than friends."
he ran one of his hands over your breasts sensually, made you arch your back, he took advantage of the fact that you weren't wearing a bra to take one of your nipples between his thumb and index finger, made you moan. your dress was so thin that you felt like you were naked under his hands.
"i still love you. you know it y/n, you always knew it."
"chad." you whispered. as he continued to play with your now hard nipples, he reached his other hand between your thighs and stroked you gently but adding pressure. that drove you crazy. you needed him and now.
he turned you around stopping his gestures on your body and kissed you. he picked you up gently and placed you on the sink.
"baby if only you knew how much i pictured us like this." he whispered against your mouth. "you, sweating and begging me to keep going. and me, deep inside you. for years i couldn't stop thinking about us, the way our bodies fit perfectly together. the way you arched your body every time that i was hitting that sweet spot."
he was going to kill you, not only with his words but also by his lack of caresses. "chad touch me please."
he smiled against your mouth and without warning, he tore your panties and inserted a finger inside you. the pleasure was such that you arched your back and moaned louder, louder than with any other guy.
"tell me that you also thought of us."
you gasped as he inserted a second finger. writhing in pleasure you grabbed his top and pulled him against your lips. he kissed you with such fervor that your whole body burst into flames.
"all the time." you whispered against his mouth.
he withdrew his fingers and pushed himself away. you were about to complain but he got down on his knees and took your thighs which he pulled to bring you closer to the edge of the sink, taking care not to let you fall. you understood very quickly what he had in mind.
he spread your thighs, put one of your legs on his shoulder and he started what he had wanted to do for too long. he began by leaving kisses inside your thigh while going up, made you shiver.
you slipped a hand behind his head to guide him, impatient because you knew what he was capable of with his mouth.
he looked at you one last time, admiring the girl he was in love with then he plunged his head between your legs and inserted his tongue into your pussy.
you arch your back and moan his name. "chad. fuck keep going." you continued to moan louder and louder as he sucked, licked and shoved his tongue in.
hearing you moan made him harden, he was so hard that he had to palm himself through his jeans to relieve himself a little. it was sure that he was going to cum without you even touching him. just with the sounds you made.
when your moans became louder and louder he understood that you were going to cum so he continued to devour you until you reached orgasm.
once done. he got up and kissed you. you slipped a hand between the two of you and started to undo his belt but he pushed your hands away. you frown. "why ?" he smiled at you. "i heard what you said a little earlier. that you wanted to fuck, so here's what i'm going to do. i'm going to take you back to your apartment and fuck you until morning."
and chad was a man of his word. he had actually walked you home and then he had fucked you in all the positions he had imagined you in and on every surface of your apartment, from the kitchen, to the dining room table, to the sofa and to the bedroom. put it all to bed until morning. and the short time you slept, you didn't have a single nightmare.

The noises of chattering college kids made Chad’s knee bounce anxiously. Even in his dorm, he could hear the loud conversations his suitemates were having. Harsh white lights made his head hurt, and the plastic chair he sat in at his desk caused his lower back to ache. He didn’t look like it, but he hated being around new people. He never really had a best friend since, well, not since Wes. Only a handful of circle jerk assholes who only tolerated him for his looks. For a year he’d been on edge, so that’s why when a curly-haired brunet entered the room abruptly, he jumped.
He looked nice enough, but still, Chad was cautious. The brunet jumped as he saw Chad. He was easy on the eyes, nice looking. He held a cardboard box and wore a beat-up Jansport backpack.
“Hi.” He croaked out, his voice straining. Chad nodded at him, and the brunet awkwardly shuffled closer into the room. He looked at Chad’s bed, then his, and set his box down on it, dust slowly puffing up. “Guess this is my side,”
Chad swiveled back in his chair, taking a deep breath as he stared at the chipped surface of his wooden desk. He closed his eyes for a moment, inhaled, exhaled, and stood up. He put on his chipper smile, eyes not quite matching. He stuck out his hand to the other boy. “I’m Chad, it’s Ethan right?”
Ethan let out a breathy laugh of relief and nodded. “Y-Yeah, Ethan.” He responded, taking Chad’s hand in a firm shake. Chad’s eyebrows furrowed as he confusedly reacted to the rough, strong hands Ethan had. And for a split second, he had hope of making a new friend.
—
It was almost nine, and Chad had finally reached the point of relaxation with Ethan that he stopped checking his phone for texts from Mindy. He learned a little about Ethan; he liked old cheesy movies like Star Wars, he loved ketchup, and he had something in common with Chad.
Home didn’t have a lot of good memories.
Chad had set his laptop on his desk, which now sat towards the middle of the room after two hours of Ethan and Chad rearranging the furniture. Their beds pointed towards each other, and every so often Chad would check to see if Ethan was watching the movie playing.
“So do you know anyone that goes here?” Ethan asked before stuffing his mouth with a handful of fries. Chad readjusted in his position, putting his arm under his pillow as he laid on it.
“My sister Mindy, and our friend Y/N.” He answered, purposely not mentioning. Sam and Tara. “She’s on the third floor.”
Ethan nodded, returning his gaze back to the movie. “I got a sister too.” He mumbled. Chad lifted his head up at him.
“Really?”
“Yeah, she’s back at home.”
Chad hummed softly. “Close with her?”
Ethan smiled to himself, reconciling childhood memories of playing with his sister. “Yeah, she’s older than me. Really like, protective of me y’know?”
At this point, neither of the boys were watching the movie. Only quietly admiring each other as they asked each other questions. “That’s how I am with my sister.” Chad stated. And maybe that’s how they’d be with each other. Ethan smiled at his comment, but it quickly faded.
They sat in silence for a moment, their breathing matching the other’s. Ethan huffed as he sat up on his bed, making Chad slightly sit up. “Where you going?” Chad asked.
Ethan smiled defensively at him, and then he pointed towards the bathroom door. “Gotta take a leak,” Chad snickered at his answer, checking his phone. Ethan laughed as he jumped off his bed, eyes widening at the sound of a metal object clanking onto the floor. Chad immediately sat up, looking at the source of noise.
A push-button blade sat on the tiles of the floor. Chad tensed, but he just brushed it off as his anxiety pushing his buttons. Ethan, however, looked incredibly nervous. “It was my dad’s,” Ethan coughed out, bending over to retrieve it. “He gave it to me cause y’know, New York! Crime!”
Chad laughed nervously, but Ethan didn’t give him time to answer, quickly stepping inside the bathroom. Chad didn’t think too much of it, he never expected Ethan to be the type of guy who could practice self-defense, let alone stab anyone. But you know, maybe he didn’t know the guy.
—
Chad had truly considered Ethan to be his best friend. Even after one of the Ghostfaces stabbed him with the same blade Ethan had dropped that first night in their dorm, he still felt that way. Ethan was his best friend.
It hurt him more when Tara confirmed his suspicions of Ethan in the hospital after. Nine stab wounds to the chest, internal bleeding in his organs, and the one thing that hurt the most was finding out who Ethan really was. He let Y/N spend the night in his room that night, and even though he knew she probably knew about his feelings for Ethan, he felt safe with her.
She told him she was pregnant, and then she asked him if they'd stay friends. Chad didn't have to think to answer.
It was weird; falling in love with Y/N while still having feelings for Ethan. It was weirder helping her raise her and Ethan's son, but at the end of the day it helped him sleep at night. On Chad's worst nights, when he watched those old cheesy movies Ethan liked, when he wore one of Ethan's shirts, thinking of Y/N and Ollie helped him fall asleep.
After awhile, he'd had enough. He turned his love for Ethan into hate, and maybe that wasn't the healthiest option, but it was the one that felt the most good.
When he burned Ethan's shirt he wore to bed, he told himself never again. Never again would he open up to Ethan.
—
It was late, Ethan was tired and irritated, sitting on the dusty wooden floors of the bookstore. Mary held a mug of coffee in her hands, matching pajamas hugging her skin. Ethan’s hands ran through his messed up curls.
“I’m sorry, again, I know this has been weird.” Ethan apologized for the umpteenth time. Mary straightened her posture and adjusted her glasses. He’d been there for two days, ignoring the buzzing of the incoming calls from Y/N and Chad.
“I just didn’t know where else to go.”
“Did she kick you out?” Mary asked softly, trying her best to hide her smile. “I didn’t get the chance to ask you, since you know,”
Ethan stared blankly at his shoes.
“You’ve been crying on my couch for the past few days.”
Ethan sniffed as he threw his head back, resting it on the bookshelf behind him. His eyes were teary, and he choked out a sob as he shook his head. “I’m too dangerous to be near her, near my kid.”
Mary listened quietly.
“I’m scared I’m never gonna change. I’ll always be this, this monster. I hate that I have so much malice in me; everyone I see that has the slightest chance of hurting them, I just wanna hurt them.” Mary leaned forward, elbows resting on her knees as she listened carefully.
“I think up ways,” He started, voice shaky. “Ways to get rid of people, and ways to hurt them.”
“What’s wrong with being a monster?” Mary asked, interrupting him. Ethan jerked his head towards her, looking for an ounce of unseriousness; it was not there. There was a lingering feeling in the air, something uneasy. Ethan stared at her as if she was the most unique thing. There was no sign of uncomfortableness shown on her face, not even a twitch at the corner of her lips.
“I know you were the one who bailed me out.” Ethan stated, ignoring her previous comment. She blinked, trying to fathom what he was saying.
“How did you-”
“I put two and two together.” He interrupted. “When you showed me your shrine, and when you didn’t ask about me being released. It was you, right?”
She slowly nodded, Ethan following after.
“I don’t think there’s anything wrong with you Ethan.” She admitted. She swallowed nervously as she waited for his response. It was a remark Ethan should’ve felt safe with, but his worry only grew. He knew what he was, what he did, and yet Mary treated it like it was as miniscule as a robbery. Ethan dryly chuckled.
“I really don’t, Eth.”
Ethan’s fingers twitched, and his brows furrowed. Only two people were ever allowed to call him that.
“I think you only wanted justice for your brother. There’s nothing wrong with that. I would’ve done the same thing if I were in your shoes. I think you’re really special.” Mary continued to rant, not having a clue that Ethan was fuming not five feet away from her.
He stayed silent as she talked, and his hands itched to reach for the push-button blade in his back pocket. He wouldn’t know who his victim would be, him or Mary.
“Maybe it would’ve been easier if she died, you know?”
“What did you say?”
Silence. Silence took over both of them as Ethan stared, eyes wide at her. His eye twitched as he physically held himself back from leaping over to her and stabbing her. “I just mean- I know you tried to kill her, I saw the photos. Wouldn’t it have been better for you if you didn’t have the burden as well?”
“‘Burden’? You mean my son?” Ethan seethed through gritted teeth. He started seeing red again, just like earlier that night. Red, hot emotions coursed through his veins as he thought about Ollie, as he thought about Y/N, as he thought about Chad. No one else mattered. It was only them for Ethan. He knew he would hurt anyone who hurt them.
“I didn’t mean that.”
“I shouldn’t have come here,” Ethan muttered as he stood up. He stumbled a bit as he fully stood up, Mary was quick to stand up alongside him, helping him keep steady. Ethan jerked his arm away from her, stomping away towards the door. He had his hand on the door handle before Mary stopped him.
“W-Wait, I’m sorry, don’t go.” She pleaded, placing her hand on his wrist. Ethan breathed heavily as he looked down to the contact. He slapped her hand away, barely opening the door before he felt her hands reach for the knife in his back pocket. He didn’t have time to react, before she swung the blade and stabbed herself in her thigh, lightly squealing as she did so. Ethan’s eyes widened at the action.
“What the fuck?” He yelled at her. Blood seeped through her pajama pants as the knife stayed plunged in her leg. She lightly smiled as she stared, feeling her adrenaline rushing through her.
“If you leave, I’ll tell them you did this.” She threatened. The probability of them believing her over Ethan, knowing what he’s done, was more likely. Just because of that, Ethan had no care of what he would do in that exact moment. He lunged towards her, tackling her to the floor, causing her to grunt in pain. She kicked and thrashed as Ethan pinned her down, yanking the knife out of her thigh. She screamed in pain, not realizing the extent of what Ethan would take.
A surge of emotions, familiar and unfamiliar, flooded Ethan’s mind as he raised the knife above his head. He saw Y/N on the floor below him, bloody and beaten. He saw Chad spewing out blood from his mouth as he cried. He hated it; he used to love the feeling killing gave him, but now, it only reminded him of all the hurt he caused the two people he loved the most. He let out a defensive yell, fully ready to swing the knife down into Mary’s soft, tender throat.
He hesitated. For a split second he hesitated and he saw Y/N again. Her teary eyes looking up at him on the ground, shirt stained with dust and blood. She was back in the theater, and so was Ethan.
“Do it.” She whispered.
His confused expression put his mind in a haze. A tear rolled down his cheek, running down to his neck. He felt soft, alluring hands run up his back. He slightly turned his head, gasping hoarsely as he heard Y/N’s voice repeat the command in his ear.
“Do it.”
She snaked her hand to his jaw, turning his head back to look down at Mary. He let out a choked sob as his eyes hovered over Mary. Chad’s screams echoed through his head, and Y/N dug her nails into Ethan’s shoulders.
Mary laid there, on the dusty floors of the bookstore, knife punctured in her chest. Her once feminine and white pajamas are now stained with crimson. He sobbed and thrashed his body away from hers. The echoing of Y/N’s whispers and Chad’s screams made Ethan cover his ears with his palms as he banged one of his fists against his forehead.
He sat in that same position for thirty minutes before leaving. He told himself he’d take care of her body the next day, but right now, for his own sanity, he needed to see Y/N and Chad. Make sure they were alive, just in case.
Ethan was met with an obvious “I’ve been crying for two nights straight” Y/N after knocking once on the apartment door. Her eyes were red and puffy, yet she was a sight for sore eyes for him. Immediately he was met with a cautious, but loving embrace.
She didn’t ask him anything, not where he was or what he had done, but somehow, deep down she knew. Chad was in her bed, with a solemn expression. Maybe the old Ethan would’ve seen red at the sight, but all he wanted to do was jump in the bed and sleep.
They didn’t ask about the small blood stains on his fingertips. Nor did they ask about why Ethan’s hands shook as he lifted the covers. He laid in between them, looking over at Ollie’s crib to see him peacefully sleeping. Resting his head back onto the bed, he felt Y/N curl up next to him.
The fear and worry left his body as he felt her, really felt her, for the first time in a year. Ethan slid his hand near Chad’s, causing Chad to look at him.
“I’m sorry.” Ethan whispered to him, moving his hand back. Chad grabbed his retreating hand, and he held it in his own.
“It’s okay.” He responded before closing his eyes again. Both of the boys’ hearts heated slightly faster, knowing the exchange wasn’t about Ethan’s touch. He’d do better, he told himself. He’d do better for them.

It's been a while since I've watched Wynonna Earp but I just remembered some details and it got me thinkin about the au:
Are we keepin with the show's canon and going with a "Tara's not even a Carpenter (or I guess Loomis in this au)/fully human" twist? If so, how would that go?
(Also do you got any thoughts about who the other characters would be? Like who would be the stand-in for Doc/Nicole/Xavier/etc. Omg wait you could combine this au with the other half-sister au and have a Willa stand-in as well)
SWAGGER. (that's just how i refer to you in my head. i know you have a name. sorry.) THANK YOU FOR ASKING.
So I have virtually no story actually planned out, but like everything else, it will lightly follow the plot and I'll pick and choose what is most fun. I have most of the character's roles planned out.
Tara not being a Loomis is 100% happening. She got that ~ angel ~ blood in her.
(I made Christina's maiden name Carpenter in this, along with several other AUs for simplicity. And like, technically we have nothing in canon that disapproves the idea that it is her surname and her husband took her name. Obviously, that isn't true, but it exists in the area of small things that are never mentioned because why would they.)
SO. Tara was always called Carpenter. Billy never let her take her name, he knew she wasn't his all along. Christina tells Sam it's just because Sam is the heir, not Tara, so only Sam can take the Loomis name. Sam changes her name to Carpenter too after her grandmother Nancy loses it shortly after Billy's death. She wants to distance them from all that.
I really thought hard about whether I wanted a Willa in this AU, and ultimately decided not to. I think Sam has oldest-sibling vibes and fits growing up under the weight of a legacy, and Tara is only going to have Sam on her side vs Waverly who was loved by her mother and Wynonna.
ANYWAY. Some other characters!
Kirby Reed (27), Deputy Marshal of the Black Badge Division, and her lab technician Mindy Meeks-Martin (21). They show up after Sam gets back into town and some bodies start happening. (The Dolls and Jeremy characters, except Mindy is there from day 1.)
Chad (21) is a Mercedes-type character. Just around to serve looks, be catty, and run the family property business after his sister decided to abscond to some secret government lab job.
Stu 'Doc' Macher. Sidekick to the Ghost of the West, and recently, Billy. Billy finds him in the well shortly after Sam is born, and keeps him around to help take down the revenants. Billy throws him back down the well shortly after his wife leaves, blaming him. He'd caught them speaking together in hushed tones shortly before, and acting suspiciously. He even accuses him of being Tara's father. He acted as a bit of an absent uncle to the girls.
There's not really a Nicole figure. What there is is Judy Hicks, fresh into town because Sheriff Dewey Riley needs a deputy. She brings with her her son, Wes (19). Wes works at the station doing grunt work, and when he's not working, he's being sweet on Tara. Judy is ignorant of the supernatural, and even after things start to happen, she remains in denial.
