I had made edits of the commissions I got from @trsilvers with Dominic and Eliza paired in their “casual” clothing and “evil” clothing but then my computor died and I didn’t save those and now I’m just too damn lazy to edit them again.
Anyway here is profile art of Eliza and Dominic that will be on my profiles in the next 3000 years when I actually finish them T-T
Go tell my friend they did amazing!

Yo I just had a cute idea
So enjoy this dumb little drabble I had based on a thought that came into my head not long after I woke up.
Stretching out on the couch, Nice let out a contented sigh. Today was, as every other day since his relationship with Hajime had become deeper and official, a very good day, a warm and pleasant glimmer of afternoon sun filtered in through the windows and shone upon him, warming him with its gentle glow. Shifting about slightly, he tried to get more comfortable, finding a more pleasing position after a few attempts before reaching over to the table and picking up his smartphone. Nice examined the time upon the digital screen; it was still early afternoon, yet Murasaki had not returned. Of course, this was to be expected; granted that Murasaki preferred to shop alone, that way neither Nice nor Hajime could distract him. Ironically this did make his shopping trips last longer, but he didn’t mind as he would be free from indulging Nice’s impulse buys and tactics of slipping unnecessary items into their shopping whilst Murasaki tried to find a better deal and feeding Hajime too; given that Hajime generally did not engage with the shopping or assist Murasaki unless she had been fed beforehand. Nice chuckled at the memory of the last time the three of them had done so as he began to lay back.
Hajime had peeked out her curtains at Nice, who was currently reclining on the couch. She smiled inwardly as she watched him, the tension within him seeming to visibly melt off him as he almost literally glowed, albeit on account of the rays shining in through the windows onto him. She had admittedly not gotten dressed properly, having only recently woken up. Instead, she was taking advantage of her new position as Nice’s girlfriend by wearing his clothes, which were usually all too big for her. In this case, she was wearing one of his many blue v-necks, which was, as expected way too big for her petite frame. Rubbing the sleep out of her eyes, she had a sudden idea that she had decided to act upon. Silently sneaking out from behind her curtain, she crept over to the couch, Nice remaining completely unaware of her presence. She tiptoed slowly, closer and closer until she was behind him and then she called to her boyfriend.
“Nice-kun.” She said, with a smile on her face that could only be described as devious. Nice leaned his head back on the couch, looking up at her, albeit she was standing quite a deal above him given his position.
”Ah! Hajime-chan! Good morn-“ Nice found himself cut off by Hajime’s two soft delicate hands taking hold of his face and then, without warning, Hajime leaned forwards and pressed her lips to Nice’s. The kiss was short and sweet, much like Hajime herself and just as Nice began to return it properly, Hajime broke the kiss and giggled before skipping off back behind the curtain, leaving Nice both incredibly confused and wanting more, before realising what had just happened. Nice practically erupted with crimson blush and as Murasaki returned with bags of shopping in hand, Nice grabbed his shoulders and shook him violently completely malfunctioning. Hajime simply giggled from behind the curtain, knowing that her plan had been a success.

Okay for Fankid Week: Day 4 I wasn’t sure what kind of party we were talking about...
I’d like to title the above picture: “Dominic questioning why the ever-loving fuck did he come to Kanto?”
If we are talking about a Pokkemon party (like a team) than here is a possible league team I had in mind for Lyn. It’s under the cut cause spoilers and also it’s an old sketch my sis @saraorsomeart made for me awhile back. Idk if they wanted it out there or not? Sorry in advance.
So my team idea was as follows:
Meowstic- Ash caught an Espurr for her visiting when they visited Grandma Grace in Kalos. It’s her first ever pokemon she’s had since she was nine.
Jolitk: Instead of getting a traditional starter from Prof. Gary Oak she instead caught a Joltik chewing on the labs wires. Like father like daughter. This is inspired by how Ash caught Pikachu in the Eletrcic Tale of Pikachu manga.
Gyrados: She fished up a shit ton of magikarp but only one evoled. It’s actually afraid of confrontation so not as powerful in battle as you might think.
Tangrowth: I just really like this pokemon and think it’s underused. It also helps balance Lyn’s team type wise.
Tyranitar: This is her Charizard equivalent. She caught it as a little Larvitar and once it reached it’s final evolution she had a harder time getting it to obey. Mastering Mega Evolution together has brought them closer.
Tarous: One of Ash’s many Tarous. She was like “pretty please can I have one? specifially the one that has liked me since I was a little girl?” and Ash was liked “Yeah!!!”
This team might change in the future. (except for Meowstic, Joltik and Tyrantiar. They stay for sure. Joltik and Tyranitar have been on the team since I first made Lyn) Even if it does change it sure is fun doing team composition!

I commissioned @royalsmugbird to commission two of my Team Rocket kiddos, Eliza Parker and Dominic Blakeley. They look better than I could have ever imagined! They’re expression and poses are perfect for them! If my fellow fankid community friends are looking to commission someone I highly recommend this artist.

I’m curious what’s the story behind Nando and Domino. It’s a unique ship 👀
I made Dominic before I gave Domino a partner so when I was looking on the big pokemon ship list for a potential mother or father I found this ship. I thought the ship name was interesting, then I realized I gave Dominic that same emo bang Nando has going on and now I die with this ship.
Sometimes the littlest things will make you ship something, and maybe one day I’ll post headcanons about these two :3

I put a * next to kids whose names I recently changed, there is a ** next to kids that are new to this particular version of the list. The kids who changed ships but not names have ^ in front of them. ? aspect of the characters up in the air.

Bonus!Hisui:
Rei (aka Lucas) x Wanda (yes the NPC you have to keep hunting down in those side quests) their descendant eventually lead to Joanna and her daughter Dawn.
Irida x Adaman descendants eventually lead to Palmer, then Barry.
Calaba’s descendants stay in Sinnoh, and lead to Paul and Reggie. I am kinda subscribed to Brandon being their dad tho but he only goes to Hoenn for work. She is also an old holy woman with no kids to speak of in the games so maybe her line continues with a sibling or something.
Melli somehow leads to Harley. I know this man would never marry a woman but Harley comes from his loins somehow they are too fucking similar-
Akari is the ancestor to Lucas who eventually get’s thrown back in time. Thankfully they immediately pick up on the family vibes and just treat each other like brother and sister. Maybe she get’s with Wanda’s brother, Zeke, so that’s why Dawn and Lucas end up having similar appearances.
Cyllene x Prof. Laventon. Okay so this would make Cyrus, Leon and Hop related somehow but to add some degree to separation to that let’s just say Cyrus’s part of the family comes from a sibling of Cyllene. Also since Cyllene is someone who seems to care for others unlike Cyrus I want her to have the fun descendants. But Cyrus got the no eyebrows and bad at feelings part of that bloodline.
Iscan x Palina’s descendants lead to Marlon. It still works weather you acknowledge the weird tan or just pretend he’s that shade all the time.
Tuli is the ancestor of Bianca, this was something I thought the moment I saw her in game but I am going to take something else from this video on ancestor speculation and say that she is also Ginter’s wife which would make Bianca and Volkner like cousins or something. (that video I linked is very good and it’s also where I got the Marlon idea from so go watch it 😊)
Total number of fankids: 55
#pkmn fankids#long post#I hope to never update this again but knowing me that won't happen anytime soon#there will at least be little things I have to fix#don't reblog this#thanks

All my fankids by region (UPDATED)
Let’s hope this list stays consistent! I might delete some kids but don’t have plans to add anymore.
I put a + in front of the fankids that have one or both parents that are game only characters. My fankid universe is more anime centric but mingled with gameverse stuff. Since Leon, Sonia, Rose and Oleana have all made appearances in the anime now they don’t count for this category. Putting a - next to characters that are on the chopping block
EDIT: I put a * next to kids whose names I recently changed, there is a ** next to kids that are new and a ++ for two ships I changed but the kid mostly stayed the same. Questions marks next to last names I am uncertain about. Fankids in italics get profiles in the future.
Another Edit: I made some ship changes that I am not sure of so this might change back very quickly. We’ll see.

After much waiting, it is done.
Requester: teacatruri, anonymous
Prompt: Nice admits his feelings for Hajime/First Date/First Kiss
I would have posted this sooner if only it weren't so huge and I was not distracted by shoujo, my kryptonite.
Oh and props to chocobizh, for proofreading and assisting with the formatting of the fic. It was a necessity for a piece this large.
(Spoilers, this is a long one, make sure you guys strap in and wear your seatbelts.)
Thank you for your patience and enjoy your Fast Food.
(You guys have been very patient though, so you deserve your HajiNice fix. Regularly scheduled requests will start soon along with a special project that I've been working on and a few of you in the know may be aware of it.)
Pacing, Nice tried to organise his thoughts. There was a feeling of discontent deep within him that he was trying to remove. Scratching at the tape on his face as was his trademark habit, he pondered what he could do. The discomfort was punctuated by a sudden increase in the speed of his heartbeat and a warm, tingling sensation that spread over his entire being. As he closed the open window and made his way to the couch in order to try and gather his thoughts, his mind turned to what, or rather who, the cause of his current state was. In all honesty, Nice had a lot to think about but no matter what, his thoughts always eventually turned to her. The shift of his thoughts towards Hajime wasn't new to him, in fact, after he had first met her, they had been his only company, outside of Art who had grown rather distant following Skill's disappearance. She was safe, and she was happy, so Nice was unsure just why he felt dissatisfied. Was there something deeper?
"Nice? Hey, Nice!"
Suddenly, Nice was snapped out of his stupor by Murasaki, who was calling after him from the kitchen.
"Murasaki...?" Nice replied, somewhat dazed. "What is it?"
"You've been out of it for a while now. Your dinner's going to get cold." Murasaki stated, somewhat concerned.
"Oh... Sorry." Nice said, before making his way over to Murasaki and the table. As he sat down, he noticed that there was an empty chair at the table. The chair next to him. "Hey, Murasaki?" Nice asked as he took a mouthful of fried rice.
"Yeah?" The older man replied in between bites. Nice looked around their home but could not seem to find what he was looking for.
"Where's Hajime-chan right now?" Nice questioned. Murasaki swallowed a portion of fried rice and readjusted his glasses which gleamed as the evening sun shone upon the lenses.
"Hajime? She's out right now. Said there was something she wanted to buy. Knowing her it'll just be hamburgers or something. She said she'd be back later and if she isn't back in the next few hours, we can pick her up at Nowhere." He said, before taking another mouthful. "Why, are you worried?"
"Well... yeah." Nice admitted. He knew Hajime could take care of herself, but he didn't feel right without her around. Nice held his breath for a moment. "Murasaki, can I ask you something?"
"Huh? Where did this come from?" Murasaki retorted.
"Look, can I ask you a question or not?" Nice replied back, irritated.
Murasaki nodded. "Sure. That's fine by me."
"What should I do? I can't stop thinking about Hajime-chan. I can't think about anything else." Nice asked.
Murasaki chuckled. "You're a genius but you don't know what you're feeling?" Nice shook his head. "Look, it's fairly obvious to me. Shall I tell you?"
"I need to know." Nice admitted, nodding.
"Your feelings for Hajime run deeper than simply just liking her, let's be honest, everyone more or less assumed you had feelings for her; your little improv scene during the rehearsal more or less confirmed that. But I'll speak frankly. You love her, Nice." Murasaki said, before taking his last moutfhul of rice.
"I.... I know that." Nice admitted, looking helpless into Murasaki eyes. "But what should I do?"
The bespectacled man bluntly replied, "In all honesty, I believe the best course of action is for you to tell her," before stating, "But you likely won't listen to me."
Nice had eaten the rest of his meal in silence. Murasaki was right, he needed to tell her. If he didn't, it would gnaw away at him forever. Murasaki's phone vibrated slightly in his pocket. Taking it out and opening his inbox led him to a text from Hajime alerting him that she was at Nowhere. This had been a recent development, as after the Freemum incident, both Nice and Master had made sure that Hajime had a phone with her so that she could keep in contact.
Elsewhere, Hajime put her phone back into her bag before taking a seat on one of the many barstools of the recently refurbished Nowhere. It hadn't had its grand re-opening ceremony like Master had intended, but she was fine knowing that Master would allow for Nice and Murasaki to continue business as usual.
... Nice. She was thinking about him once more and began to feel an all too familiar sensation.
"Are you alright, Hajime?" Master asked. "You haven't touched your burgers."
"...I don't know." Hajime replied, totally ignoring the pile of burgers that lay wrapped before her. Koneko had returned from the back room, which was usually dusty no matter how many times it was cleaned. Birthday had joked that this was the work of a Dust Minimum that belonged to her.
"What's wrong, Hajime-chan?" Koneko asked the older girl. Hajime looked up at her.
"I feel strange. I have a weird feeling in my stomach... and my face is always red... and my heart..." pointing to her chest, "Is beating really fast."
"Could it be...you're in love, Hajime-chan?!" Koneko gasped.
"Love?" Hajime wondered. She hadn't thought of describing her feelings in that way. It was different than the love she knew. The love for her friends, the love for food and the love for Cafe Nowhere. This was not the love she knew.
"Does thinking about a certain person make you feel like this?" Koneko asked. Hajime nodded.
"Nice-kun..." she sighed. Koneko clapped and cheered!
"That's great, Hajime-chan! I'm sure Nice must be really lucky! You've got to tell him right awa-" Koneko stopped herself as she had an idea.
A rhythmic buzzing within Nice's pocket prompted him to reach for his phone. Noticing he had received a text, he opened it.
"Nice, Hajime will be staying over at Nowhere tonight. Please come and pick her up tomorrow at 9am. Don't be late." Nice read aloud. The message was from Koneko. He wondered what exactly could be so important that Hajime would opt to stay overnight at Nowhere. It wasn't exactly late, either, so why wasn't she coming home? Nice wondered if she was trying to avoid him for some reason which made his heart sink.
"Hey, Murasaki!" Nice called out. Murasaki, who was doing dishes, grunted a response. "Hajime-chan's staying over at Nowhere."
Murasaki nodded and returned to work. Nice turned toward the window and stared absentmindedly outside, watching as the evening sunset gave way to the dark of night. It wasn't often Nice found himself without Hajime. Admittedly he was uncomfortable, to say the least, when he did find himself in such a situation. He remembered how things had been when he had found her again years after escaping the Facultas Academy. He hadn't felt heartbreak like that when he realised she had no recollection of him. In spite of his genius status, it took Nice considerable effort to get Hajime to remember him, and even then, all she could remember was his name and that they had been friends. He had decided to leave it at that, however, knowing that whatever had caused her memory loss must have been pretty bad. Though, eventually he had explained to her that he had a gap in his own memory. The two had bonded once more on account of that. It was from then that they were inseparable. Over the course of the following three years they had experienced all manner of things and Nice had kept his promise to show her the outside world.
Nice suddenly snapped back to the real world when Murasaki interrupted his musings.
"Nice, you need to wake up early tomorrow. Go to bed!" he called. Nice sighed and nodded, he wasn't really in the mood to argue. He crawled into bed, clutching a pillow tightly to his chest, looking longingly at the curtains behind which she normally slept.
That night, when he dreamed, he dreamt of her.
At six in the morning, Nice's alarm awoke him. His eyes strained as he focused on the time. He thought that perhaps it was a little bit too early given he had to be at Nowhere for 9. He didn't suppose it was such a big deal though, as he rose from his bed and stretched, relieving himself of the stiffness that had built up in his sleep. He dressed himself quickly, of course knowing better than to blatantly rush, since even he didn't want to look like a mess. Still, there wasn't exactly much he could do. His permanent bed-head wasn't exactly willing to cooperate and be styled, even if Nice wanted it to. Instead, it fell lazily around his head as it always had. As Nice had finished putting on his belt, he made his way into the kitchen to search for something to eat, gently rubbing the sleep out of his eyes as he did so. After some rummaging, Nice managed to find some cereal; though if she were here, Hajime would be given the priority. After all, Nice could go without food for quite some time, and for Hajime's sake, often did. It was funny, how different things were any time she was gone. Nice chuckled to himself weakly as he poured some of the cereal into a bowl. He had admittedly been a lot worse the last time she was away from home for quite some time; albeit under rather different and trying circumstances. He was thankful at least, that he knew exactly where she was in the first place. Cafe Nowhere was his second home as much as it was hers. Though that was on account of the kindness he had been shown by Koneko and Master. While Hajime had originally lived in Nowhere when Nice found her again, once she realised that Nice had a connection to her past, she decided to follow him. How different would his life be had she never remembered him, or worse, didn't care to? Nice dreaded the thought and scolded himself internally.
Looking outside the window as he ate, Nice witnessed the sun rising and the birth of a new day, the sunlight illuminating the city below. It was one of the greatest things about waking up early like he did, though he didn't wake up in time to see it at the weekends. Those were the days he slept for longer, almost as long as Hajime did. He looked back to where he, Murasaki and Hajime slept, separated only by curtains. He knew Murasaki would still be there, and would wake up at around 7, as he always did, rain or shine, weekday or weekend. Sometimes Nice wondered if Murasaki knew how to relax, or even knew the meaning of the word. His partner always needed to be moving; not quite to Nice's extent, since Nice didn't enjoy sitting still for half an hour and mulling over coffee or tea. Nice liked to constantly be on the move, sure, but only because he wanted to see everything that the world could offer him. The world without walls that as a child he had dreamed of. The world he promised to take her to. Having finished his meal, Nice decided to do Murasaki a favour and actually clean up after himself for once. Now they would be even, after the advice Murasaki had given. As he had headed into the bathroom to brush his teeth, he heard Murasaki stir. What time was it? Murasaki didn't normally start to come out of his sleep for another half an hour. Had he intended to wake up earlier as well?
The bathroom was, in all honesty, the only room in his home that actually was a separate room. Nice was grateful for that, after all, if it were just curtains then things would not exactly be pleasant. He was grateful indeed. The bathroom was the same as usual. The sink remained the same pearly white as always, thanks to Murasaki's efforts, and the toothbrushes were neatly arranged. Again, thanks to Murasaki's efforts. Watching himself in the cracked mirror, Nice remembered many things. Little things that had occurred in the early days of the Hamatora as well as the first few weeks following Murasaki moving in. Looking at the bathtub, Nice thought of one such memory in particular. It had been the second or third day after Murasaki had suddenly decided to live with Nice and Hajime, Nice was unsure of the specific day, but Hajime had just had a bath, and left the bathroom, clad in a towel as per usual and hair dripping from a recent wash. Murasaki was not aware that it was her thing. Her preference. Watching how embarrassed Murasaki got had made him laugh quite a bit, Hajime herself just called Murasaki weird and continued on her way back to her room. Nice however, had looked at Hajime for much longer than he cared to admit. Nice blushed at the memory. By this time he had spit out what little toothpaste remained in his mouth and washed his face, taking care to avoid the tape that Hajime had recently replaced for him.
As he left the bathroom and gently closing the door behind him in order to lessen the creaking noise, if even only slightly, Nice noticed Murasaki had actually awoke. This was an interesting day after all. Laughing to himself, Nice wondered exactly how Murasaki was going to function an entire hour before he was typically up. The short answer was that he didn't. Murasaki staggered around trying to get even basic tasks done. He had accidently crushed the handle of the fridge, given that he hadn't thought to put his glasses on and thus his minimum was active. Nice laughed and patted Murasaki on the back.
"Geez, Murasaki, you really are an All or Nothing type of guy." he teased. Murasaki's response was less that cordial.
"Screw you, damn it! It's still six in the morning how the hell do you do this every day?!" Murasaki slurred. Nice guessed that Murasaki's typical patience and such totally disappeared when he was tired. Not that Nice could exactly blame him, if his sleep schedule suddenly just got interrupted, he'd be pretty pissed too. Largely ignoring Murasaki's exhausted ramblings, Nice continued his morning routine, having only to two more items on his agenda. The first was to put on his headphones. That was accomplished easily enough. It took him a while but eventually, he had managed to wash the blood out of them. The gold plastic shined with a slight glow as the morning sun caught them just right. The final option on his agenda was to check on Hajime, but Nice remembered that she was at Nowhere and, knowing her as well as he did, likely still asleep. He supposed he could cross that off of his list. As the silence of morning was interrupted by Murasaki loudly smashing a plate by accident, Nice decided for both their sakes to get the poor man his glasses. Walking into Murasaki's 'room', Nice found the red spectacles on Murasaki's bedside table and after picking them up, decided to be a little bit flashy. Making sure that the path was clear, Nice snapped his fingers, time slowed to a crawl and the sound waves shot off, and Nice traced them with his eyes, becoming aware of his minimum's range. Following the wave that was just about to reach Murasaki, his minimum propelled him forward, closer to Murasaki who had just heard the sound. Moving at an incredible speed, Nice was right at Murasaki's side in an instant. He slipped the glasses onto Murasaki's face in case he accidentally crushed them with his minimum.
"...Thanks." Murasaki said, as he began to gradually come out of his tired stupor.
"Anytime." Nice responded, before helping Murasaki to deal with the mess he'd accidentally created.
"I just wanted breakfast. Never this."
"You couldn't help it, you weren't even really awake." he said, attempting to comfort Murasaki, who sighed and nodded, before preparing some coffee.
After Murasaki had took in enough caffeine to function like a relatively normal human being, the duo prepared to leave for Cafe Nowhere. The duo swung open the doors of Nowhere and walked inside where they found themselves greeted by Koneko.
"Ah! Nice-kun, Murasaki-san! You're both here in time." Koneko said, dusting off her hands as if proud of something she had worked on.
"In time for what, exactly?" Murasaki asked, raising an eyebrow. Koneko grinned almost deviously.
"Heheh, that's a secret for you, Murasaki-san. It isn't 9 am yet." Koneko giggled.
"Well.. uh.. where's Hajime-chan, Koneko?" Nice asked. Koneko shook her head.
"I can't say until it's time, you know." she said as she pushed her glasses up. Nice tapped his foot impatiently. He hated waiting. Absolutely despised it even. As he did this Koneko leaned up to whisper something secretive in Murasaki's ear, the two occasionally glancing at Nice, and suddenly the young man disappeared into a storeroom to do a favour for Koneko. Moments later he reappeared carrying a bouquet of flowers, roses maybe? Nice had no clue, even less so when Murasaki thrust them into Nice's hands.
"Murasaki, wha-?" Nice said, caught off guard by the sudden gift. Murasaki sighed for a moment.
"They aren't for you, Nice! Use your head a little for once!" Murasaki scolded.
"What the hell are you talking about?" Nice retorted as Koneko decided that now was the time and slipped behind the bar and into Nowhere's living space as Nice and Murasaki went through their motions. Moments later she reappeared. Koneko cleared her throat.
"Gentlemen, if I could have your attention for a moment?" she began. Nice spun around on his heel to face her while Murasaki simply looked up. "May I present to you the one and only, most beautiful, Hajime-chan!"
Hajime appeared in the doorway albeit shyly, face burning with blush and eyes almost glued to the floor. Nice was almost literally speechless. Everything was different, she did not wear her visor today, instead, a white ribbon in its place, the metal badges still present of course. That was one thing Koneko insisted she kept. Her hair had certainly been washed recently, and it seemed to glimmer as the light hit it. Her regular attire had changed too; rather unexpectedly, since Hajime wasn't the type to dress up for nothing. The blue hoodie and black shorts Nice was so used to seeing was nowhere to be found, instead, his eyes were drawn to the beautiful blue dress she was wearing. It looked new and seemed perfect no matter which angle he looked from. A white sash across her waist replaced the pack she always wore and the skirt of the dress fell roughly halfway down her thighs. The rest of her legs laid bare and Nice found himself looking at them far longer than he cared to admit...had they always looked so soft? Had they always been so shapely? Nice had to force himself to avert his gaze, else he start drooling everywhere. She was always beautiful but today it was different.
He forced his gaze downward and took note that her typical boots, which did indeed cover the legs that he had just beheld and was overwhelmed by, were replaced by a simple pair of flat black Mary Jane shoes and white frilly socks. In all honesty, Nice was totally blown away by how amazing Hajime looked today, of course he constantly found himself overwhelmed by her on most days, but today in particular seemed to be so much more than usual. Hajime looked up, and directly into Nice's eyes and suddenly the already accelerating heartbeat within Nice's chest sped up to the point that Nice wasn't even sure if he could catch it, even with his minimum.
Hajime had an almost expectant look in her eyes as she stared back into Nice's own and Nice opened his mouth to try and speak but his mouth was dry and no sound came out. Nervously Nice looked down and realised he was holding a bouquet. Guided at this point by sheer instinct, he made his way over towards Hajime and kneeled, presenting her with the bouquet. Murasaki chuckled softly from his spot near the door.
"That isn't how you give a girl flowers, Nice, it's a gift not a damn offering!" he wanted to say, but the moment, awkward as it was for him to witness on account of Nice, was rather touching, and Murasaki couldn't lie that it brought him joy to see the two of them acting like normal teenagers for once. He smiled, considering for a moment that Nice trusted him enough to divulge his feelings in such a way as he had. In many ways, Nice was both Murasaki's greatest friend as well as his biggest rival, but he was also very much like the younger brother Murasaki never had, or, admittedly, wanted, but in him at this moment, Murasaki held a sense of pride in his chest that he had never felt before, especially when Hajime accepted the flowers with a smile and Nice's face lit up brighter than he had ever seen before.
Nice stood back up as Hajime went into the back to place the flowers into a vase and quickly ran over to Murasaki's side, seeming to have finally found his voice again.
"Did you see that Murasaki? More importantly, did you see her?" Nice asked excitedly, face beaming with a smile that Murasaki admitted may have been one of Nice's greatest weapons.
"Honestly Nice, you need to calm down and be more of a gentleman." Murasaki laughed. "Especially since it almost looked as if we were going to have to clean up after your drool." Nice winced slightly but laughed.
"Didn't think anyone else would notice." Nice confessed, laughing deeper. As the P.I Duo laughed between themselves, Hajime had reappeared.
"Nice-kun!" she called out to get his attention. Nice snapped round to see her almost immediately and dashed over to her with a slight bounce in his step.
"Hajime-chan!" Nice replied with a cracked voice, which was rather unsurprisingly on account of his nerves. Murasaki struggled to hold his laughter at bay, while Hajime giggled.
Embarrassed moreso than he already was from the literal work of art that Hajime was today, Nice cleared his throat and scratched at the tape on his face before he was hit by an idea. "Say, Hajime-chan..." he began, catching her attention. "Since you uh...you know, since you look so beautiful today do you wanna go?" Nice continued. Hajime cocked her head to the side.
"Huh?" she responded, before Nice took a deep breath and decided to ask possibly the hardest question he had ever asked.
"I mean do you wanna...go on a date... you know, a real one... with me?" he asked with an extended hand, face nearly aflame now with how hard he was blushing. Love had never been Nice's strong suit, and he'd known that since he met her. Of course now he was much more awkward with his feelings than he was those days, but Nice couldn't have imagined that the cute young girl he met those years ago would bloom into the breathtaking flower standing before him. She didn't even hesitate with her response and immediately she took that outstretched hand. A hand she wanted to hold forever and a hand she wanted to be held by forever. She looked up at Nice, eyes practically gleaming and Nice suddenly relaxed. As if an insurmountable weight had magically vanished from his body. He was himself once more and interlocking his fingers with hers, he smiled warmly at her.
"I guess that's a yes." Nice laughed. Hajime nodded as the two turned to leave Nowhere. Murasaki placed a hand on Nice's shoulder.
"Don't stay out too late." He said and Nice playfully swatted his hand away.
"You don't need to worry about it Murasaki, we'll be back home later." Nice replied, as he and Hajime left to begin their first real date. Murasaki of course sighed and made his way to the bar to order a coffee.
"Say, Koneko, you didn't buy Hajime those clothes did you?" Murasaki asked as Koneko prepared his order.
"Nope. Hajime-chan bought all of those herself. I just had the idea to set the two of them up." she replied, placing the coffee down for Murasaki.
"So I'm your accomplice now, am I?" Murasaki laughed after taking a tentative sip of his coffee. Koneko simply grinned.
The pleasant breeze of morning greeted the young couple as they walked the streets of Yokohama, hands entwined. It was truly a beautiful day now, made moreso by the presence of Hajime at Nice's side. Nice sighed contently, and looked down at Hajime, who, noticing this, looked up at him. Nice hadn't gotten a good look at her face since her 'transformation' but now noticed the slightest hint of makeup upon her face, just so, which brought a new layer of definition to her face. Everything stood out much more; especially her eyes, which now looked even more incredible than they usually did, and Nice's gaze shifted focus from her eyes to her lips. It seemed she was wearing a little bit of lipgloss, which brought Nice's attention to them even more, as if they looked even softer and more inviting to him than usual. Feeling a heavy blush in his cheeks, Nice quickly turned his head. As the breeze picked up slightly and caught Hajime's hair, she smiled and laughed at Nice as she had about a month or so ago when he had displayed a similar reaction. As the two continued on their way to a destination they would decide upon later, Theo and Rei happened to spot the pair on their way to Nowhere.
"Ah, isn't that Nice-kun?" Rei asked, as Theo squinted.
"Yeah, I think so. But look! He's with another cute girl. Poor Hajime-chan must be devastated!" Theo replied, not noticing who said cute girl actually was. Rei sighed loudly.
"Theo are you blind? That IS Hajime-chan, you moron." she said as she considered smacking Theo for his stupidity.
"Shouldn't we say hi or something though?" Theo asked as the couple were getting further out of earshot. Rei shook her head.
"No, it looks like they're on a date or something, I don't think it'd be a good idea to disturb the two of them." Rei replied. With that, the two high-schoolers left the couple to their business and went on their way to Cafe Nowhere.
Meanwhile, Nice and Hajime had yet to decide what they planned to do on their date. Though while passing through the streets, many people recognised the pair from the advertisement for Cosmoland, with many of those people noting that the two were indeed truly a cute couple. The two would have been content to simply wander around aimlessly if it meant they could spend time with the other, but the wandering would be cut short by the loud rumbling of Hajime's stomach. Even dressed like she was, Hajime's food loving nature could not be changed.
"...I'm hungry." Hajime announced, before looking up expectantly at Nice. Nice laughed before rubbing his thumb over Hajime's.
"Well it looks like that's the first order of business, huh?" Nice smiled. "What are ya in the mood for, Hajime-chan?" The possibilities flew through her mind, curry, spaghetti, qingxiao steak, meat buns, fried rice, cake and more. But she was with Nice and so thinking of him, that which came into mind was that which she associated with him. The one food that, like Nice himself, she loved over all else.
"Hamburgers!" Hajime announced excitedly. Nice nodded with a smile.
"If that's what you want we're gonna have burgers." Nice stated as he rubbed over Hajime's thumb with his own once more.
The automatic doors of the burger joint Nice and Hajime frequented together slid open as the couple walked inside, the mouth watering scent of fast food filling the air as the sounds of business rung out, the sizzling of meat and fries as they were prepared was music to Hajime's ears, and her contented sigh of relief was music to Nice's own.
"Oh! If it isn't our most valuable customers!" called the voice of a middle aged man, whom both Nice and Hajime knew as the Manager. He was a short man, and honestly, somewhat round, but the man was warm hearted and in the years that Nice and Hajime had known him, he had grown rather fond of the two. He found Nice charming and while Hajime to incredibly endearing. Still, Nice was rather impressed that the manager had recognised immediately that he was in Hajime's company, unlike Theo.
"Hey there Manager!" Nice returned the greeting. "You can probably tell but Hajime-chan's hungry again."
"Ahahaha! Of course, of course!" the manager laughed heartily. "It looks like you two are on a date, hmm? Good. It's about time you kids got together!"
"Hehe, well, you aren't wrong." Nice laughed before he caught on, "...Wh-what do you mean finally?!"
"You two have been comin' ta my store for two, maybe even three years now. An' I may be old but it's plain as day that you two are interested, so you know, we all reckoned it was inevitable."
"Ah!" Hajime blushed at the Manager's words. In her heart she knew that he wasn't wrong, of course.
"Y-yeah well... we're here for some burgers, y'know." Nice announced, before walking towards the back to make his order with Hajime, while the manager simply laughed jovially once more, mumbling something about kids not being honest these days.
As their place in the line grew closer to their order, Nice and Hajime were greeted with another familiar face.
"Eh? Nice-kun and Hajime-chan, is that you?" asked the young lady working at the counter. Nice recognised immediately.
"Oh! Hey, Yumi! You're still working here?" Nice asked, as he recalled, it had been some time since he had solved her request. Come to think of it, he had met Murasaki that day, hadn't he? Nice smiled warmly at the memories. His former client nodded. It seemed she was trying to make ends meet again.
"The Manager is still really nice! But you guys haven't been here recently, did something happen with work?" Yumi asked, curious as to why her friends had been absent from the one place they frequented as often as Nowhere. Hajime spoke up this time.
"Freemum messed things up." She stated. Yumi realised that the Hamatora wouldn't be getting work when Freemum was running rampant, so understood what had kept them from visiting.
"That aside you look really cute today Hajime-chan." Yumi smiled as she looked at Hajime's outfit. Hajime thanked the older girl. "Anyways, what'll your order be?"
"Hmm... It's your call, Hajime-chan." Nice smiled, as his date looked up at the menu, she had decided she wanted hamburgers, but wasn't sure how many. She decided to just pick a number.
"12. 12 Hamburgers." Hajime decided. Yumi's jaw almost dropped before recalling Hajime's stomach essentially being a black hole.
"That'll be 1560 yen please." Yumi said, as she printed off the receipt. Hajime had neglected to bring any money with her however, as per usual, Nice decided to be the one to pay. This did not surprise Hajime as much as him actually not spending any of his reward money from the Cosmoland job did. It would seem that he had actually been saving for a day like this. As Nice took their order, he balanced the tray with a single hand, just so he didn't need to let go of hers. Hajime was admittedly touched by this. They took their seats at a nearby table. Sitting the tray down on the table, Nice angled it so that Hajime could eat the burgers at her own discretion. Timidly, Hajime picked up one of the burgers and slowly unwrapped it, the paper crinkling as expected. As she prepared to take a bite, she noticed Nice watching her. His gaze warm and gentle. He only ever gave that look to her.
"Want some?" she asked politely just as she was about to dig in. Nice shook his head.
"Nah, Hamburgers are your favourite after all, Hajime-chan." he replied, still smiling at her.
"Nice-kun skips breakfast sometimes. It isn't healthy." Hajime scolded him. She was right of course, but if he didn't, how would there be enough for her? Nice laughed.
"Okay, okay. You got me." he conceded. Hajime took one hand off of her burger and placed a burger from her pile in front of Nice, whose own stomach rumbled in response. The couple shared an outburst of laughter together before both enjoying their burgers; or in Hajime's case, getting started. It didn't take Nice all that long to finish his own burger, given he was starving, but as he finished the final few bites, his attention became totally focused on Hajime. He studied the features of her face as she ate, the joy in her eyes, the way in which she chewed, her entire method of consumption appearing to Nice as if clockwork, meticulously crafted and operating as if machinery. His attention focused entirely on her, Nice found himself absolutely mesmerised by her. Even in this situation he could not take his eyes off of her. His heartbeat accelerated once more, though he was at ease, completely content to watch her, even if it meant staying here in this moment forever. Nice didn't care, any moment spent with Hajime by his side was one worth treasuring.
Hajime herself was steadily making her way through her burger pile, flicking her eyes up to meet Nice's own in between every few bites. When she did, she found herself trying not to stare directly into his eyes for fear of getting lost within his warm, loving gaze or the slight sparkling of his blue eyes. She felt her own heart beating hard within her chest and realised that she had to break the gaze because if she kept looking into Nice's eyes like she was, she feared her heart might escape from her chest. Nice smiled once more as Hajime got down to her last two burgers. Now that Hajime had gotten into her pace, she would most certainly be tearing through burgers in a matter of moments. As she enjoyed her last few bites of her final hamburger, Nice decided to speak up.
"Hey, Hajime-chan, hold still for a minute." he said as he moved closer to her.
"Eh?!" Hajime gasped as Nice edged closer to her. Her blush returned as Nice grew even closer, his face now close enough to her own that maybe he was going to do something that she couldn't deny wanting. Hajime held her breath.
"You had a little bit of mustard on your cheek." Nice laughed as he wiped it away with a napkin. Hajime let out a sigh that was half relief and half disappointment, before Nice offered his hand once more. Hajime took it without hesitation as he helped her to her feet. Nice's hands may have been rough and calloused from the way he lived, the fists he'd make, the very means of activating his minimum, but Hajime could not help but feel that this hand she held in her own was one that she never wanted to let go of. As she rose to her feet, she laced her fingers between Nice's own, feeling further at ease. Nice himself wondered how she could be so comfortable holding hands with him, given how soft her hands were, not exactly delicate by any means, but she always wore gloves, so the softness of her hands was preserved and she had never injured her hands, outside of the one time she had tried to escape Facultas with Nice. It hadn't gone well for either of them, to be quite honest, yet there was no scar, no wound when Nice examined her hands. As the two began to leave, Nice tossed his free hand in the air in order to wave goodbye to the manager and Yumi.
"See ya later!" Nice called as he waved.
"Bye bye!" Hajime chimed in. The Manager smiled and waved back, and Yumi bowed courteously.
"Come again! You kids have fun now, won't ya?" The Manager called back as Nice and Hajime walked through the doors once more.
The sun that greeted the couple as they returned to the streets of Yokohama was bright, almost blindingly so, as Nice strained against the warm glare, trying to decide where would be best to take Hajime now. He considered his options before a rogue flyer hit him in the face. Peeling the paper off of his face, he looked it over. The flyer advertised a local movie theatre and Hajime caught sight of it.
"Nice-kun." She said, with a slight glint in her eye, now knowing what she wished to do.
"Hmm? What's on your mind, Hajime-chan?" Nice replied, catching sight of the way her eyes were currently lit up.
"I've never seen a movie in a proper cinema before." Hajime admitted. "I want to try it."
"You wanna go see a movie?" Nice asked, to make sure. Hajime nodded happily. Rubbing his thumb over hers, something she enjoyed, Nice nodded himself in recognition of her choice. "Well then, let's go see a movie!" he said, before the two headed off in the direction of the nearest cinema.
Arriving at the cinema, Hajime looked at all the various choices of movies that she and Nice could possibly see. She found herself almost a little overwhelmed with all of her potential choices, all advertised by posters, promotional art and the like. As she pondered over all of the films she could enjoy today, there was a sudden decisive factor. A group of young children, accompanied by an absolute giant of a man, whom she and Nice knew well. Three caught sight of Hajime, who was still trying to decide.
"Ah, is that you, Hajime?" he asked, his gruff, beastly voice full of familiarity and warmth. Hajime snapped back into reality as Three approached.
"Ah. It's Three." she said, as she looked up at the beast-man towering over her.
"You're looking lovely today. Is there a special occasion?" Three asked. Hajime pointed over to Nice, in the process of buying popcorn, hot dogs and such for whatever movie Hajime chose.
"It's a date." She stated with a tinge of red on her cheeks. Three clapped his hands together joyfully.
"That is wonderful!" He said, while enjoying a bellowing, joyful laugh. "Is that why you and Nice are here then?" Hajime nodded.
"I can't decide what we should see." she confessed, somewhat downtrodden. Three gestured towards his little flock of children.
"Today the children wished to see a movie themselves. It is nice to get them out of the orphanage every now and then, especially now that things have calmed down." Three began. "As it happens, after voting, it would appear that the new Godzilla movie suited the childrens' tastes. I can say it is definitely enjoyable. Though Honey is not present today I am sure she would have enjoyed it too."
"You think so?" Hajime asked, now interested. Three simply smiled before he recalled something important.
"That reminds me... Are you and Nice both prepared for the play next week?" he asked.
"I think I am..." Hajime replied. She gestured over to Nice. "Nice-kun is always ready."
"Ah, that's excellent!" Three grinned widely. "You two are our stars after all. And you already have such chemistry. The children will be pleased." He gathered his children and made his way out of the cinema, waving to Nice as he passed by him.
"Hajime-chan!" Nice called as he gestured for her to come to him. Hajime ran over to him and she took her hot dog and drink, while Nice took the popcorn, his own hot dog and drink in his own arms, trying to keep them balanced, rather frantically at that. The couple made their way to the ticket office and when prompted for her choice of movie she quickly made her choice.
"Godzilla." she announced, prompting a raised eyebrow from Nice. Hopefully this would not be a repeat of the last time Americans made a Godzilla movie. He shuddered at the thought of Zilla, the kaiju in question. As they collected their tickets and made their way to their seats, Nice struggled to balance the snacks he had bought. It would have been easier with a tray of course, but Nice supposed nothing worth having was easy. As the couple sat down, Nice held the popcorn between his legs and placed his drink in the armrest. Hajime did the same, and as the screen darkened, the couple once again began to hold hands. Hajime watched intently while eating her hot dog, Nice absentmindedly rubbing his thumb over hers as she liked it as he focused on the movie. In the darkness, Hajime reached over to try and get some popcorn and ended up brushing her hand up Nice's leg.
"A-ah. H-H-Hajime-chan?!" Nice stammered. Hajime broke her focus from the movie to look towards Nice and noticed where her hand actually was.
"Ah!" she gasped and quickly retracted her hand, thankful the darkness concealed her furious blush. "I just wanted some popcorn..." she sighed, covering her face with her hands. Nice couldn't help himself and began laughing. Hajime unsurprisingly got caught up in his pace and found herself giggling softly. The couple continued to watch the movie in silence until Godzilla fired his trademark atomic breath and the theatre erupted into cheers. Even Hajime found herself excited. As the movie continued, Hajime ended up repositioning herself, opting to lean her head against Nice's shoulder, partly for comfort, partly for ease of access to the popcorn now that she knew where it was. But mostly to be close to Nice. She was content to stay that way until the movie ended, and so, she did.
As the couple made their way out of the movie theatre, Nice looked up into the sky as he wondered where he wanted to take Hajime next. Then an idea struck him. A place significant to both of them. Not exactly Nowhere, no. Where Nice intended was someplace simpler. It was on the way there that Nice had began to run through his mind his gameplan. He needed to tell Hajime exactly how he felt about her, and in that place he was sure would resonate with her heart the most. It had taken them a while to reach their destination, and Hajime herself carried intentions in her own mind, though unbeknownst to her, those same intentions were shared by Nice. The pair had, after taking a trip through Chinatown, savouring the sights and scents, had finally arrived at their destination. A rather sizeable tree, the site of the Hamatora's first job, or rather, the job that led to their foundation. A few years ago, a curious and amnesiac Hajime had followed Nice as he wandered Yokohama aimlessly. She had remembered him after some very heavy prompting. Or his name and who he was, roughly of course. There had been a pet cat stuck atop the tree and its owner frantically waving her arms to try and coax the creature back down. Hajime had ran ahead of Nice to attempt a rescue, as the creature reminded her of Koneko. She had managed to get up high enough to reach the cat, but as she reached out to it, the branches supporting her collapsed. Without even thinking, Nice snapped his fingers and shot straight up the tree, managing to reach both her and the cat in time. Of course he hadn't planned his landing and thus in spite of catching both Hajime and the cat, ended up spraining his ankle. He did of course play it off as if it were nothing, but it was the way he threw himself straight into a dangerous situation with only a regard for those in need that cemented Hajime's interest and upon the owner offering Nice a cash reward for saving her cat, gave Nice the idea to use his minimum to solve problems. Stopping under the tree, Nice took Hajime's other hand into his own free hand and turned to face her. At that point, with both of their hearts beating faster and faster.
"...I need to tell you something!" Nice and Hajime both announced simultaneously.
"I-I mean if you wanna go first.." Nice stammered.
"N-no I can wait." Hajime replied, equally as embarrassed.
"W-well.. if you're sure." Nice began before taking a deep breath. "Okay...here goes nothing.”
“Hajime-chan, I'm not sure I can put how I feel about you into words.. I mean, every time I try to be sincere I come across as condescending...and it pushes people away, but I don't want to push you away... I need to get this out here in the open or it's gonna be the death of me." he continued. Hajime's eyes began to widen, was this what she thought it might be? "Look, I'm taking a hell of a way to go about this but...you remember the day we formed the Hamatora Detective Agency? You told me I was interesting and you'd follow me from then on. You don't know how happy you made me that day. But I want to be honest with you. I know I said that I didn't know how to describe my feelings, but I'm gonna try. You're so incredibly important to me that I can't bear the thought of you not being in my life. When we tried to escape Facultas, when I first laid eyes on you, I knew that I wanted to get you out and keep you safe. Those hands of yours. I never want to let go. In fact, my feelings for you are my ego, and I don't ever want to lose you, or those feelings. They say that our minimums are small miracles. But I think you are a small miracle yourself. I won't leave you all alone and I don't think I ever could. In fact if everything were to happen again, no matter what, I would always find you. You'll never be alone ever again. That's the promise I'm making to you, here, where we began anew... I wanna show you everything in this outside world, you're why I left Facultas. I needed to find you again. I..." Nice paused and Hajime almost ended up biting her lip in anticipation of Nice's words. "I love you, Hajime-chan." At those three words, time seemed to stand still, as Hajime's expression changed, with her face almost igniting with a red tinge, eyes wide and sparkling, tears almost welling within.
"N-Nice-kun.." Hajime gasped, surprised at Nice's sudden outpouring of feelings.
"I just.. I needed to say it. I mean I know we've been close for like forever but... I needed to tell you." Nice continued. His own face stained by a similar crimson blush. "I mean every word I said. I mean every single word. I'll say it again... I love you." he reiterated. Hajime's surprised expression turned to a warm and teary-eyed smile.
"Nice-kun, I have a confession to make too." She began. Nice had a sharp intake of breath. "I love you too. I love you more than hamburgers. You do everything in your power to make people smile. Hamburgers always taste better if you’re buying them for me. You’ve done so much for me over these three years. When you found me…. You gave me hope again when I thought it was the end. When I was all alone in the dark, you were my light.”
Hajime's reciprocation of his feelings sent Nice over the moon and into the vast reaches of space, that is, he took a while to return back and process it, but decided to just throw caution to the wind now. He moved his hands to the Hajime's back and the back of her head, cradling it as he moved his face closer to hers. Hajime's eyes widened in response as Nice was truly going for it this time. As his face was close enough to touch her own, Hajime closed her eyes. It happened in an instant, Nice's somewhat rough and dry lips had finally made contact with Hajime's own soft and glossy lips. In that moment, a million words left unsaid, unspoken desires, lingering feelings, fears and doubts melted away into nothing. Time meant nothing, only that moment did. A kiss full of passion and true loving warmth was the most fulfilling thing either of them had ever received. Eventually, their bodies caught up to them and the kiss was brought to an abrupt end as the young couple gasped for breath.
"Wow." Nice exclaimed, panting slightly.
"My...first kiss..." Hajime said as the placed her hand over her lips. She smiled once more with a smile that only she could possibly possess, the smile Nice loved above all others.
"It was mine too, y'know." Nice laughed as he rubbed the back of his head. He extended his hand. Hajime took it and pulled it close to her, hugging Nice's arm close to her. "You wanna go back to Nowhere now?" Nice smiled.
"Yeah. Let's go!" Hajime smiled warmly, her relationship with Nice giving her joy, so much that she could not even begin to describe it. Instead she snuggled her head against her boyfriend's shoulder and hugging Nice's arm tighter as they made their way back to Nowhere under the setting sun.

Another request completed.
Requester: neo-cea
Prompt: Nice and Hajime go on a “Fake” date.
(This is a bit longer than what I normally write but I had so many ideas for this prompt it couldn't be helped.) Sorry for the delay. I hope you enjoy it!
It had been a few weeks since the incident involving Freemum and Art had passed and it seemed Yokohama was returning to normal. A lazy summer day was enjoyed by the regulars of Nowhere. Sitting at their office in the recently reconstructed Café Nowhere, the Hamatora detective agency eagerly awaited their next job. Ever since the Freemum crisis ended, there had been a flood of new jobs for Nice and Murasaki to take care of, though now they were joined by Hajime who had decided she wanted to return to active duty again. Murasaki sat enjoying a coffee as was usual for him while Hajime sat, contently munching on burgers once more. Watching her contently was Nice. Though he had initially been shaken up by the events he had been through over the past few weeks, he had eventually bounced back thanks to the efforts of Hajime and Murasaki, as well as the steady flow of requests to busy himself with. Birthday was sat at his own table, Ratio and Chiyuu in tow. It had been a recent change for Chiyuu to appear at Nowhere, but Birthday and Ratio had brought her along with them when she and Birthday were released from hospital. Now she was just as much a part of the Nowhere family as her two best friends. The door opened and a man accompanied by a camera crew swaggered in. Noticing the sign upon their table, the man walked over towards the Hamatora trio and cleared his throat. All three of them looked up at the potential client.
”Excuse me, are you per chance the Hamatora Detective Agency?” The man asked politely, eyeing the three of them up and down, but his gaze lingered on Nice the longest. Nice shuddered inwardly at the unwanted attention. “Uh, yeah, that’s us.” Nice confirmed. Creepy vibes aside, he was ready to get down to business with a new job. “We’re the best trouble-shooters in all of Yokohama!” Nice stated proudly. ”The best.” Hajime chimed in, agreeing with Nice. The man grinned and nodded in agreement. “Of course, your reputation precedes you. You are quite famous for solving the problems of anyone whose troubles you take on.” The potential client said as he motioned for one of his cameramen to place an advertisement on the table. “Yokohama Cosmoland grand re-opening?” Murasaki mused. The man nodded. “It was closed to the public during the whole Freemum fiasco that occurred recently. However we are planning a new advertisement campaign in addition to a promotion that would tie in with it.” The client continued. “For that end, we would like you, the Hamatora, to assist us in the filming of this advertisement. Of course we will pay you and grant free admission for the purposes of the filming and in addition, as thanks.” "What exactly is this promotion?" Nice asked. The promoter looked up with a wry smile. "Well, it's like this. We'll be doing a promotion for cute couples. In essence, cute couples get in free for the duration of this promotion. We intend to allow for couples to make lasting memories and entice them to come back again." The client explained. "Sure, I get it. But how is it you want us to help?" Nice questioned. "Well, we would like you to stage a date within Cosmoland." Murasaki raised his eyebrows. "What? A date?!" Murasaki exclaimed in surprise. The promoter nodded. "Of course, we have heard and seen your prowess as actors in the advertisement you created. The Yokohama Safety Club, no?" The promoter smiled. "And you! Sonic Itaden, or rather, Speed Tarou-kun! We require your charisma!" "Nice." Nice corrected him. "My name's Nice. But who am I even gonna go on this date with?" He wondered if they already had a plan in mind. "We do in fact have professional actors who would accompany you, unless you would prefer to bring one of your friends along instead." The promoter explained. Nice paused for a minute but before he could say a word, everyone else had already made the decision for him. "Take Hajime." they suggested in unison. Nice laughed. "Hey, I was gonna do it anyways." He admitted. He looked over at Hajime and extended his hand. "You wanna go?" he asked her softly. Hajime nodded. "Wonderful. Now remember, you'll need to look convincing." The promoter rubbed his hands together before reaching into his suit pocket and pulling out an envelope, sliding it over to Nice. "Advance payment. Half of the total reward for this job." He smiled. Nice opened the envelope and his eyes widened. "This is- Are you for real?" Nice questioned. Fifty thousand yen, just for shooting an advertisement and going on what was basically an all expenses paid fake date? He didn't even get half as much for the Yokohama Safety Club deal. Hajime interrupted his train of thought. "Let's do it." She said, with sudden determination. "Are you sure you want to come along, Hajime-chan?" Nice asked. The shorter girl looked up and nodded. "Think of all the hamburgers you could eat for that money." She began before gasping at the realisation of how they were supposed to get the money. Her face reddened slightly but she continued her train of thought. "We could eat Hamburgers for weeks!" she exclaimed happily. "Hajime. You're drooling." Murasaki pointed out. "Besides which if you eat burgers all day for weeks you'll get fat." he stated. Nice laughed. "I dunno Murasaki, she pretty much already does and her body looks pretty good to me." Nice countered. Everyone else in Nowhere gasped for a moment at Nice's sudden statement. Nice looked around at everyone, oblivious to what he had said.
"I-Idiot! You can't just say that sort of thing!" Murasaki scolded, embarrassed himself at Nice's obliviousness. Nice was about to open his mouth once more but Murasaki quickly covered his mouth and laughed nervously. The promoter however laughed jovially and clapped his hands. "It looks like you're in the spirit of things!" he said. Getting up from the table, he was beckoned over by Koneko to finalise the contract. Nice blinked a few times before he wondered what it was he had said. In the background, Birthday was whispering something about Nice growing up to Ratio and Chiyuu. Ratio of course reminded Birthday that it was natural for boys Nice's age to be interested in that sort of thing. Chiyuu mentioned something about the colour pink? Nice wasn't really sure what exactly that meant. Hajime herself had noticed what Nice had said and currently was looking at the floor, face burning with a furious blush. With the contract finalised, the promoter called over to Nice, breaking Hajime out of her stupor. "Ah! Nice-kun, I hate to be a bother but if you and your date could follow me please?" he called, motioning to the door. Murasaki rose from his chair as well. "Oh, you're coming too?" the promoter asked. "They'll get off track without me there." Murasaki admitted. The promoter nodded.
Arriving at Cosmoland, the Promoter welcomed the Hamatora Trio, and instructed his camera crew to spread out over the park. "Now, our crew will be filming you, of course, but in order for you to feel as if it were an actual date, act as if we aren't here." he said, but found that Hajime and Nice had already began to wander off. He sighed. "Looks like they already get the idea." "Woah! I haven't been here in a while! It sure got better quickly, huh, Hajime-chan?" Nice asked, while Hajime looked around the park, wide-eyed as she spotted so many different things that caught her attention. "I want to try them all." Hajime announced, pointing to a number of different attractions. Nice smiled widely as he noticed how excited she was getting. He cleared his throat and tried to not look too embarrassed as he held his hand out for her. "Well then... let's go." Nice smiled. Hajime looked at his outstretched hand and didn't even hesitate to take it, fingers interlocking with Nice's. She hoped he would never let go. She didn't know yet that Nice never wanted to let go of her hand. Murasaki cleared his throat loudly, casually reminding the 'couple' that they were here on a job. They didn’t pay him much heed however, happily skipping off together hand-in-hand to enjoy themselves. Murasaki cursed under his breath as he ran after them trying to catch up and keep the two of them out of trouble. The couple came across a stall, one of those traditional amusement park games where you could win a prize. There was a Toranker-kun plush up for grabs. Nice decided to show off a little bit. Without letting go of Hajime’s hand, he picked up one of the balls required for the game the stall offered and threw it perfectly at the target required to win the game. The stall owner speechlessly handed the plush to Nice. He noticed that Murasaki had finally caught up with them, and was panting a little. “Say Murasaki, don’t suppose you could help me out hear and carry this little guy, could you? I would myself but my hands are full.” Nice laughed. “I… can’t… believe… you!” Murasaki complained between breaths. Nice felt Hajime pulling in a different direction as something else caught her attention. “Nice-kun! Let’s go over there next!” She said, eyes sparkling with excitement. Nice handed the plush to Murasaki as he let himself go with Hajime’s flow. Murasaki sighed in annoyance but followed the two anyways as they continued going about the park.
Hajime had eyed a stall selling cotton candy and her stomach rumbled. Nice took notice of this and took her in the direction of the stall. Nice reached for his wallet, fully expecting to pay for a treat for Hajime, but was pleasantly surprised by the vendor. “Well aren’t you two a cute couple for sure! Didn’t reckon we’d be gettin’ actual couples comin’ here yet y’know.” The vendor smiled. Nice laughed before putting his free hand on Hajime’s head. “Thanks, but she’s the cute one here.” Nice smiled as Hajime blushed and looked away with an embarrassed smile. The vendor laughed loudly. “She sure is. You’re a lucky guy, sir.” The man smiled, before preparing a cone of cotton candy and handing it down to Hajime. “This one’s on the house little lady. Make sure your boyfriend here looks after you.” Hajime blushed and nodded, looking over to Nice who was blushing himself, with a silly look of satisfaction on his face. Thanking the vendor, Hajime and Nice turned to leave before an idea struck Nice. “Hey Hajime-chan, do your feet hurt?” Nice whispered as he heard Murasaki eventually catching up. Hajime hadn’t actually thought about it, but looking into Nice’s eyes let her know exactly what he intended. She smiled and handed him her cotton candy before he bent down and she climbed upon his shoulders. From there she could see even more than she had expected. Nice handed her up the cotton candy and she took it happily. Murasaki had finally caught up, carrying the plush that Nice had handed to him, albeit grudgingly. “You two just won’t stop wandering off will you?” Murasaki asked, rather irked. Nice simply laughed. “Well, we ARE on a date, you know. “ Nice stated. “You’re not going to have any fun at all if you play the third wheel, Murasaki.” “Third wheel.” Hajime chimed in as she took another mouthful of her cotton candy. Murasaki twitched slightly. “Th-Third wheel…” Murasaki said. “I… Third wheel.” “Uh oh. I think we broke Murasaki, Hajime-chan.” Nice said, looking up at the girl riding on his shoulders only to be greeted with a mouthful of cotton candy. “Is it tasty?” Hajime asked. Nice nodded as he savoured the taste. She raised the cone back to her own face and took another bite, before lowering it to Nice and allowing him a bite of his own. They continued this as they walked towards a particularly appealing attraction, Murasaki in tow, who held the Toranker Plush in a headlock as he grumbled to himself about how he was not a third wheel.
The trio had reached the ride, a roller coaster claiming to go underwater which gained Hajime and Nice’s mutual interest. Finishing sharing the cotton candy, the couple got in line to wait for their turn for the ride. Hajime had gotten off of her perch atop Nice’s shoulders and leaned against him, causing Nice to blush slightly as she held his own rough hands in her own soft hands. “Does this count as a real date?” Nice said softly. Hajime heard him say something, but wasn’t sure what on account of the screaming passengers of the roller coaster as it drew closer. Hajime wanted to ask him what he had said but he laughed and shook his head. As their place in line drew closer to the ride, Murasaki was approached by the promoter. “So, we’ve been getting a lot of footage of that girl dragging your partner around various eateries and rides like he’s some love-struck puppy. Are you sure this isn’t a real date for them?” The promoter asked. Murasaki sighed and shrugged. “To be honest, not even I know anymore.” He admitted. But he smiled inwardly. Nice and Hajime had both been through a lot in the past few weeks, so seeing them more or less back to normal came as a huge relief to Murasaki. Honestly, he missed not being the third wheel, but his situation was not likely to change soon. The circumstances were different for him than they were for Hajime and Nice. “Well, I AM glad that they’re giving us plenty of material and affection to work with, but uh… just make sure they keep things PG, yes?” The promoter asked, evidently they were not wanting Nice and Hajime to engage in some more intense public displays of affection than hand holding, piggyback rides and sharing sweets. Murasaki nodded. There were better places for the two of them to confirm the other’s feelings than Cosmoland after all.
“Don’t let go of my hand, okay?” Nice told Hajime, who nodded compliantly. She smiled and laughed however when she asked him if he was scared. He shook his head. “I ain’t scared of anything I can outrun with my minimum. Why would I be scared of heights?” He laughed, but almost bit his tongue as the roller coaster car suddenly began to jolt forward and upward. Hajime shivered in excitement as they began to ascend up the rails, slowly rising, higher and higher until she sworn she could see their house from where she was. Then a sudden stop. Nice noticed Hajime's excitement and felt his own sudden urge to take her hand once more. As she took Nice's hand once more, Hajime held her breath. Slowly they began to move, forward slightly and then down. The sudden drop sent a tingling through the couple as they began to pick up speed, aided by both gravity and momentum. Adrenaline pumped through Hajime's body as they went through loops and glided across the rails at a speed she imagined only Nice knew. Soon they reached a drop, into a ring in the water surrounding the entire park. Hajime gasped and Nice's eyes widened in surprise.
"Well I'll be damned, looks like we are going underwater after all." Nice said, as they began their rapid descent. Hajime and Nice let out excited screams as they dived down through the ring and into what was a glass tunnel encasing the rails. Through the glass Nice noticed fish of many different varieties and colours, creating a beautiful underwater rainbow, but for all of that beauty, it was still not enoug for Nice to take his eyes off of the true beauty for more than a few seconds, He looked at Hajime, wind flowing through her short black hair, her beautiful eyes sparkling with excitement and her soft looking lips were curled into a wide smile. Nice's ears were filled with the sound of his heart, thumping faster and faster at the sight of her and his face growing redder and redder. He always found her attractive, he always had, from the first time he laid eyes on her, but he didn't often get the chance to really look at her up close like this. She was honestly beautiful, breathtaking even. Hajime noticed Nice looking at her and turned around, making eye contact with him, and found herself met with a gaze of loving warmth from Nice. A gaze that much to Nice's delight, she returned. After resurfacing and coming to the end of the ride, Nice helped Hajime disembark. Hand in hand, the pair found Murasaki, who was on his phone, a smile in his face that meant he was either talking to his mother or the person responsible for him finally joining Nice in the first place. Noticing the pair approaching, Murasaki said his goodbyes and after whispering something, hung up. "Well? How was it?" Murasaki asked, evidently now in a much more comfortable position now that he had received that phonecall. "It was fun." Hajime replied, smiling widely in a way Murasaki noticed only occured when food or Nice were involved. It was evident to Murasaki that Hajime was truly having a great time and opening up more than she had ever done before. It seemed he had in fact understimated just how close Nice and Hajime were. Sighing, Murasaki let out a laugh and followed the 'couple' as they continued their 'fake' date. They went to every single food vendor Hajime's nose could find, went on all the rides Nice had found. Though Hajime's feet grew tired, Nice carried her around on his shoulders as they had done earlier. It had begun to grow late and the sun was setting.
"Oh! There's one place we still have to go!" Nice realised. Hajime looked down at him from her position. "Where?" she asked, interested to see just where Nice would lead her. Nice smiled and pointed to the huge ferris wheel. Hajime gasped at the sheer size of it. "Oh, good choice, Nice. It's a good view and probably the least dangerous thing you've been on today at least." Murasaki laughed. Eventually he got tired of being the third wheel and just decided to enjoy himself with his two best friends. It had turned out to be quite a good day for him, so much so that he almost forgot they were on a job. After walking some distance and enjoying good natured joking amongst themselves, the Hamator trio reached the ferris wheel. As they boarded, Nice decided to put his arm around Hajime, bringing the shorter girl close to him. The sun had set by the time they reached halfway up the wheel, and Nice noticed Hajime looking out the glass. "The city is lighting up!" she noticed, excitedly. Looking out of the window himself, Nice noticed the same thing. Yokohama was coming to life before their very eyes and the higher the wheel went the more he could see. Three quarters of the way to the top, Nice had wondered if he would be able to tell Hajime how he really felt tonight. His heart began to beat faster and faster as they neared the top, and once they had reached it and the wheel stopped spinning again, Nice felt his heart beat so fast he was worried that it would burst out of his chest and run far, far away. He glanced outside for a moment, noticing the beauty of the city below, but if he had to choose between the ocean of neon lights that illuminated Yokohama at night and the beauty that Hajime possessed, Hajime would be his choice every time, without fail. Nothing could compare to her. He gripped Hajime's hand a little tighter, getting her attention and though he was nervous, Nice felt he was going to do it. He opened his mouth but he was cut off by the sound of fireworks shooting off through the air, exploding into bursts of wonderous colour. "Fireworks!" Hajime announced, appearing to be bouncing in her seat. Nice smiled. Maybe this wasn't the best place to tell her, as beautiful as it was. "They're so cool!" Nice agreed. Murasaki laughed watching the two teenagers acting their age and enjoying simpler things. He wasn't dense however, and silently offered Nice his sympathies. "Hey, Hajime-chan?" Nice asked, prompting Hajime to turn and face him. "What is it Nice-ku-" Hajime didn't get to finish her sentence before Nice had wrapped both of his arms around her and pulled her close to him. She blushed furiously, taken completely off-guard by Nice's sudden affection, before glancing up at his face, noticing he had the same condition. She found herself instinctively press her head to Nice's chest and heard just how fast his heart was beating. Upon noticing this, she returned his affections, reciprocating the hug. Neither of the two of them broke it as the ferris wheel descended and the fireworks display and even as they were to disembark from the ferris wheel, they would rather engage in a silly side step, akin to crab walking, than to break from eachother, and the other's warmth, until they had gotten at least away from the Ferris Wheel and prepared to leave. Murasaki sighed, albeit contently as both Nice and Hajime fell asleep in the car on the ride home.
A few days later, Koneko silenced everyone at Nowhere as the fruit of the Hamatora's labour came on. Surprisingly, for a camera crew that he never noticed until the end, Nice found that they had gotten a lot of good quality videos of the 'date' that Nice and Hajime had been on. The commercial drew to a close with Nice and Hajime in front of the camera, holding hands and with their free hands, making a heart together, saying "Yokohama Cosmoland! Cute Couples get in free!" in unison. Murasaki placed a hand on Nice's shoulder as Birthday teased Nice over the really bad photos the promoter had sent of Nice in the scenes that were cut. "It looks like Speed Tarou is no longer in love with the wind." He joked, teasingly. Nice chuckled before sighing. "You'd be surprised how right you are." he whispered to Murasaki, before joining Hajime who was already making use of the paycheck they had been sent. "Interrupted by fireworks, huh?" Murasaki mused to himself, before chuckling. Such a thing was just Nice's luck, after all.

Could the prompt be how Hajime is scared of thunderstorms and Nice is there to comfort her?
Sure thing Anon! Really sorry for the wait, been a bit swamped lately. Thanks for your patience and I hope you like it!
The low rumble of thunder broke through the quiet of the evening as Nice lounged on the couch, trying to relax, since he couldn’t exactly go anywhere with the storm being as it is. The weather had suddenly taken a turn for the worse about fifteen, maybe twenty, minutes or so ago, Nice was unsure really and was began with a simple bit of rain that gradually increased in intensity until lightning streaked through the skies, forking in so many different directions and a few moments later the crescendo of thunder. Sighing, Nice looked at his smartphone, scrolling through his inbox, mostly just dirty jokes Birthday had sent him and a text from Honey telling him the storm would be around for quite some time, though she added that she didn’t really need to use Mighty to tell him that much. His phone vibrated for a second or so and he looked to his most recent message. He had just recieved a text from Murasaki saying that the storm had caused him to be forced to bunk at Nowhere for the night as he couldn’t get home. Nice wasn’t worried of course, Murasaki’s big and ugly enough to look after himself after all, but he’d noticed that Murasaki mentioned that he might not be able to eat given his lack of cooking aptitude. That admittedly had Nice worried. Not for his own sake, he could go without food no problem. The problem was that he wasn’t here on his own.
Getting up off the couch, Nice made his way to where he, Murasaki and Hajime would sleep. Noticing that Hajime had drawn the curtains, she was usually asleep but it wasn’t late enough for her to be in bed already. Thankfully she had neglected to put up the sign reading “Come in and I’ll kill you” so Nice at least hoped he would be allowed to enter. Taking a deep breath just in case, Nice peeked through the curtains and noticed that Hajime was not asleep at all, instead curled up and shaking somewhat. That didn’t sit well with Nice. "Hajime-chan?" Nice asked, trying to get her attention. She sat upright for a minute and looked rather distressed. "Nice-kun.." she replied before another loud crash of thunder ripped through the air causing her to cover her ears with her hands in fear. It didn’t take a genius to figure out at this point that Hajime was scared of thunder. Though Nice could understand why, and whose fault it was in the first place. Of course, if he had been shocked within an inch of his life by the human equivalent of a walking electric chair and his heart stopped from the shock then he would be wary of thunder and lightning too. Close friend or not, Nice was going to kick Birthday’s ass next time he saw him.
Nice couldn’t stand to see Hajime in such a state of fear and removed his headphones. He got into Hajime’s bed and sat next to her, looking her in the eyes."Hajime-chan, I’m here, everything’s gonna be alright." he said softly before he placed his headphones on Hajime, making sure they sat in a way that was comfortable for her before playing some relaxing music for her. Hajime’s breathing became a little less frantic. Hajime returned Nice’s gaze, still somewhat teary-eyed from her earlier terror."Nice-kun.." she began in a hushed tone "Don’t leave me all alone…" "Do you think I’d ever do that?" Nice said, feigning offense. Hajime shook her head. With his right hand, Nice moved Hajime’s fringe to reveal her forehead and, while his heart raced, he moved his own face closer to it before gently planting a kiss on her forehead. "It’s a promise then." Nice laughed warmly. "I promise you’ll never be alone, Hajime-chan." he smiled widely and Hajime found herself filled with warmth. She managed her own smile in spite of her deepening blush as Nice’s means of sealing his promise began to sink in."Thank you…" she whispered to Nice who found himself a little embarrassed. "Uh… Y-yeah, don’t mention it." he stammered. There was an awkward silence until Hajime’s stomach rumbled almost louder than the thunder.”..I’m hungry…” she announced in her trademark manner and in that moment Nice found himself bursting out into laughter, Hajime joining him. She sure knew how to pick her moments, Nice thought to himself.
In the kitchen, Nice rummaged through the fridge for something that Hajime could eat. He then had a terrible realisation as he remembered. He couldn’t cook. He groaned and hid his face in his hands as Hajime sat on the couch, seemingly content for now. He was about to admit defeat when he noticed a slip of paper on the counter. Much to Nice’s relief it was some rather direct instructions from Murasaki on how to prepare curry. Letting out an audible sigh of relief Nice thought aloud."You’re a hell of a guy, Murasaki." he laughed quietly as he set to work. As Nice followed Murasaki’s instructions to the letter, Hajime began to smell the aroma of Nice’s cooking. She turned her head round to look at Nice, who, while carefully using a knife, looked up at her and smiled. Feeling herself beginning to blush, she broke eye contact and looked down, while Nice laughed warmly. As Nice began to be more and more focused in cooking, Hajime stood up. Without Nice actually noticing, she walked from the couch to behind him and after taking a deep breath, wrapped her arms around him."H-Hajime-chan?!" Nice exclaimed in surprise at the sudden contact, his own face stained crimson with blush even in spite of the thick white tape on his face. "…Is it okay if we stay like this for a while?" Hajime asked as she rested her head against Nice’s back. Nice smiled warmly and laughed."You don’t even need to ask." he beamed. As he was making the finishing touches to the curry as per the orders of Murasaki’s note, a flash of lightning sparked through the darkness and the inevitable rumble of thunder followed, low, yet violent, causing Hajime to grip Nice tighter but with Nice there for her and her holding on to him, she quickly calmed.
Having actually managed to complete the list of instructions on Murasaki’s note, Nice served his creation. He crossed his fingers mentally as he sat the plate down on the table for Hajime, who sat in front of it, clearly preparing to utterly devour the meal. Initially Nice sighed in relief that he hadn’t actually burned the dish and considered that a success. As Hajime scooped up a first mouthful, Nice watched nervously as she took a tentative first bite. Noticing Nice’s uneasy look from the corner of her eye, Hajime swallowed what she had been chewing and turned to face him."…Is it okay?" Nice asked nervously, in case he had repeated the mistake of the cabbage rolls and not even Hajime would eat them. Nice supposed she knew better because he ended up getting particularly bad indigestion for a few days. Hajime paused for a moment to wipe her mouth before smiling at Nice."It’s tasty." Hajime admitted, surprising Nice. He hadn’t expected something he’d cooked to be edible, let alone tasty. Though Hajime picked up another forkful and to Nice’s surprise she offered him it. "Try it." she urged him, with expectant eyes. Not wanting to disappoint Hajime, Nice decided to throw caution to the wind and taste his creation. His eyes widened in surprise as the curry hit his tastebuds. Hajime was right, it was good, great even. He would have to thank Murasaki later for his stroke of brilliance. As Hajime watched Nice enjoy the taste of his own cooking she came to a realisation, memories of the night at the convenience store a few weeks ago coming to the forefront of her mind, Murasaki’s awkward reaction and her own embarrassment chief among them. She had considered asking Nice if he remembered too as he swallowed but decided to hold her tongue."Reminds you of that time, doesn’t it?" Nice laughed. He was sharp, moreso than anyone really gave him credit for, or maybe the look on Hajime’s face gave her thoughts away. Hajime nodded as Nice handed the spoon back to her.
Scooting closer to Hajime, Nice decided to wrap his own arms around her as she ate, and though he wasn’t surprised when she didn’t jump slightly like he did, he noticed even though she was quite focused on her curry, she still held a redness in her cheeks, though laughing to himself Nice wondered if it was him or the curry. However her previously shaky breathing had totally disappeared and even when the thunder roared once more, she did not seem to worry. Nice was with her and the feeling of his warmth as he held her was all that she needed to feel safe.

TFW when you ship Fast Food so hard you have vivid as hell dreams about it. I mean there was one involving a request to recover a food company's secret burger ingredient and Nice decided to bring Hajime along with him. They had fun with it and in the end Nice was like you know what pay us in burg so the company does. Murasaki didn't approve. You know how he gets when Nice takes on cheap jobs, but Hajime was thrilled so Nice felt it was worth it. It was literally like an actual episode I loved it.
