A little bit out of comfort zone today - here’s my entry for the #CHOOSKETCH competition hosted by @jimmychoo 👠 When I learnt that @jimmychoo is hosting a design contest #CHOOSKETCH 👠, I couldn’t resist giving it a try even though shoe design is a bit out of my comfort zone. (And tbh we all should step out of our comfort zone once in a while, right?) During my creative process, London was on my mind often as I used to live there for 2 years, and I was getting increasingly worried about the lockdown state it was in. And I was reminded of how beautiful the city is every spring when all the flowers blossom. One of them is the wisteria. I’ve also included 2 photos that were used for visual reference. The illustration was done in watercolor and ink, then digitally touched.
